He caressed, I repeat he CARESSED my phone case (which is Andrew) after I showed him. “He’s a beautiful beautiful man.” Talked about Bond, and Andrew, as you do! I love the shit out of him. 😍💙 #benwhishaw #andrewscott #jamesbond #spectre #bakkhai
The run of The Trial finishes at The Young Vic on August 22, so about 3 ½ weeks from now, and then it’s on to filming Season 3 of Count Arthur Strong and also Season 3 of Penny Dreadful. Such a busy guy! Hope he’ll be available for promotional appearances for Spectre in late October/early November when the movie premieres in the UK and US, respectively.
Moody indie rockers Radiohead are now said to be the bookies favourite to record the next James Bond theme song after a huge bet was reportedly placed on the Oxford band.
A spokesperson for William Hill told the MailOnline: “We can confirm that someone did enter one of our shops requesting to place a £15k bet on Radiohead at odds of 10/1. On top of that, we have seen loads of smaller bets that have forced the odds down to 6/4 from 10/1.″
“A gamble like this suggests that an announcement could be coming soon whether it be Radiohead or another artist.”
Goulding seemed like a likely contender after she shared an Instagram photo of herself leaving Abbey Road Studios - the same location Adele recorded the Oscar-winning ‘Skyfall’ theme - with the caption “That’s a wrap”. Other bookmakers even suspended taking bets on the theme’s singer following Goulding’s cryptic Instagram post.
Cormac Dowling, Novelties and Politics trader for Betfair told Yahoo Movies UK: “Ellie Goulding had been friendless at 25/1 but accompanying the rumours in the past week that ‘Spectre’s theme tune has already been recorded has been an overwhelming number of bets coming through for the English singer songwriter, forcing us to suspend betting.”
No official announcement has been made about the ‘SPECTRE’ theme song yet, but Radiohead seem an unlikely choice. Their more recent albums have seen the band take on a lo-fi, dance-oriented sound, well away from the lavish orchestral numbers we usually get at the top of the latest James Bond film.
Our money for now is still on Gouldfinger… sorry, Goulding.
‘SPECTRE’ is coming to UK cinemas this October. Watch a trailer below.
