Best Christmas Ever

This story was written by my lovely friend @lust-for-pan . She’s an awesome writer!!! I bet you guys will love this imagine just as much as I did.

Pairing: Derek Hale X Reader

Word count: 1.357

"I’m not wearing that,“ Derek said, glaring at what you were holding up in your hands. "I love you, Y/N. I really do. But that is ugly and too bright of a red for me.”

"Don’t apologize,“ you puffed out. "You’re wearing it and that’s final.”

Annoyed, he started, “Y/N, I’ve already helped you set up the tree and decorate your house. Hell, I even baked with you,” he grumbled. “I’ve done everything you’ve asked, please don’t make me wear that. That sweater has to be the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen.”

He wasn’t lying. The sweater you were holding up had to be one of the ugliest things you could ever set your eyes on.

It was a bright red button up wool cardigan sweater with green decorated Christmas trees on the front. Surrounding the trees were yellow stars in different sizes. On the back was ‘Hale of a Christmas’ in big, white cursive lettering.

While Derek’s sweater was bright red, yours was an ivory-like white. On it were two big red and white striped candy canes that took up most of the front. On the back of your sweater were the words 'Merry Christmas, Sweetie! ’ in bright red cursive, like Derek’s.

You had had the two sweaters custom-made by a friend of your moms who owned a shop in town.

Ever since you were young, you had wanted to wear matching ugly sweaters with a friend. Unfortunately for Derek, that friend had been him.

You didn’t know it, but Derek had had a bit of a crush on you from the day he’d met you. He’d do anything for you. Hell, if it’d make you happy, he’d walk across a bed of nails.

Stiles always made fun of Derek liking for you. Like Lydia, you were oblivious to the love Derek had for you. When he was around, Stiles would drop hints around you and ask you about Derek. He noted how you knew so many little things about Derek: how he preferred coffee over tea; he disliked remakes of old horror movies; or even how he had a secret liking for DCs Superman.

You knew more about Derek than anyone else, including even his sister Cora.

Pouting out your bottom lip, you asked him in a soft voice, “Please, Derek? Wear it for me?” You held it up under your chin and grinned up at your best friend.

He tried to keep a straight face but, due to your smile, couldn’t and nodded his head at you. “Fine,” he caved in. “Pass it over.”

You handed him the sweater and jumped up and down, happy he had given in.

"If they say one thing about me out loud, I’m taking it off and throwing it away,“ he warned, giving you a pointed look. An empty threat.

"That’s fine with me,” you beamed and put your arms around his midsection. “You love me.”

He hugged you back gently and, quietly, said into your hair, “I do.”

Before he knew it, the doors opened and in came your friends and your arms were no longer around him.

The whole pack was there: Allison and Lydia, Scott and Stiles, Isaac and Boyd and Erica.

They each greeted you and when his eyes landed on Derek, Stiles had a surprised look on his face. He looked between you and Derek multiple times before going over to Derek. Scott and Isaac and Boyd followed Stiles, leaving you with the girls.

"How the Hell did she get you to wear this?“ Isaac asked, his face going red from trying to hold in his laughter.

"Told you like her,” Stiles told Derek, smugly.

 "Shut up,“ he glared.

 “I knew it!” Isaac exclaimed.

"You’re whipped, man!“ Boyd told him.

"When are you guys getting together?” Scott asked. Derek didn’t reply, just glared like usual.

"Stiles?“ You asked, walking up to the boys. "Can you set up the table for me, please? And Derek, can you help me with the food, please?”

Derek nodded before glaring at the red-faced boys.

"Of course, Y/N!“ Stiles smiled, almost too sweetly, at you before walking off to do as you asked.

"C'mon, Der,” you grinned, closing your hands around his and pulling him into the kitchen behind you.

It was silent for a few minutes, the only sound was the clinking of the plates as you stacked them atop each other.

"How are you finding it so far?“ You asked as you handed him a bowl of food.

Derek narrowed his eyes at you before speaking, "I can’t believe you actually got me into this thing.”

You smiled, “I can’t believe it either.”

"Can you guys hurry it up in there? We’re starving out here!“ Stiles shouted from what sounded like just outside the door. His voice was followed by a pained shriek.

"We’re coming!” You shouted back, “Thank you, Lydia!”

"That’s what I’m here for, Y/N!“ She replied. You snorted.

"Let’s go before he comes in here and goes through all the food,” you said to Derek, whom just grunted in response.

"Don’t be such a Scrooge,“ you said, lightly elbowing him in his side as you passed by him with the turkey platter in your hands

He scoffed before picking up and balancing another platter of food on his free arm and turning back towards the door leading to the living room.

"What the Hell are you guys doing crowded around the doorway?” Derek heard you ask. Curiously, he followed out behind you and, because he was taller than you, knew instantly why everyone was crowding you and him.

Derek nudged you lightly and gestured for you to look up.

Furrowing your eyebrows, you looked up and spotted some mistletoe hanging from a string tied to your broom. Your eyes followed down the broomed and locked onto a pair of light, whiskey colored eyes. Stiles.

You narrowed your eyes at him and muttered the word 'asshole’ to him before turning back to face Derek.

"My friends are jerks,“ you muttered to him.

You looked up at the best friend you have got an attraction to for so long. You sent him a small smile and, ignoring the confused look in his eyes, you stepped up on the tips of your toes and lightly pressed your lips to his. Out of nerves, you forgot you were holding a turkey, and fortunately, you didn’t drop it.

After a second or two of shock, he kissed back. He was surprised that you’d kissed him.

Remembering that you had an audience, you slowly pulled back and looked up at him with a smile on your lips.

"Can I tell you a secret,” you whispered and leaned in closer. “I’ve liked you from the moment we met.”

You pulled back again and smiled at the look on Derek’s face. His cheeks and the tips of his ears were red. He was blushing. You made Derek Hale blush.

"Finally!“ Stiles shouted, dropping the broom to clap his hands. He’d been waiting for this moment for a long time.

You looked around and noticed that everyone was smiling and cheering. Lydia, of course, had her phone out and was probably recording. Allison and Scott were smiling sweetly, Erica was smiling to herself, Isaac and Boyd clapped and cheered, and Stiles seemed happiest.

For months, Stiles had been trying to get you two to admit your feeling for each other. It took a while but his plans worked. The mistletoe trick was a last minute plan, so he was really happy and excited that it had worked.

You looked back up at Derek and was taken back when you saw he was smiling. You loved his smile. Seeing Derek happy always made your stomach feel funny, a good funny.

"Is something on my face?” You asked him nervously.

"It’s nothing,“ he shook his head. "I just really like you too.”

Hearing him say that had made your night even better than it already was.

 "You do?“

"I do,” he nodded, still smiling.

This was officially the best Christmas you’ve ever had. That night was better than any gift you could ever get.

Imagine being Jackson’s twin sister and dating Aiden

“You can’t date Aiden.”

“I don’t like you dating Aiden,” Jackson says, sighing and rolling his eyes as he sassily crosses his arms. “He’s not good for you.”

“Wow. Thanks for the insight, dad.”

Jackson visibly bristles at the comment, but he doesn’t show his annoyance. “Trust me. Aiden’s trouble. Even Ethan thinks that he’s not good for you.”

“Ethan just thinks that Aiden and I together are hilarious,” you reply.

Jackson turns to Scott and Stiles, looking for them to back him up.

“You’re just going to get hurt,” Scott says, making your eyes widen. Some best friends.

Stiles leans over the table to supply his two cents. “Jackson is your twin brother. Being protective is in his genes.”

“Well I’m dating Aiden,” you say finally. “And none of you can stop me.”

Haunted House

(Brett x Reader)

Request:  May I ask a one shot with Brett Talbot where they are visiting a haunted house and he tries to scare - but doesn’t - (y/n). And for reasons he got scared too, glowing eyes showing and that scares (y/n)? With # 6-20-18 -Thanks in advance!

6.  “We’re trapped in a haunted house and you’re trying to flirt with me?”

18.  “S-Stay away from me.”

20.  “I’m not going to hold your hand, so stop trying to scare me.”

“A haunted house? Really? Don’t you think we see enough monsters all day without having to seek them out willingly.” You shake your head, looking around at all the people having fun. If they knew what was usually going on in Beacon Hills they wouldn’t be so keen on celebrating Halloween.

“We do…but those are not real and it’s supposed to be fun. You do remember what that is right, Y/N?”

“Yes Brett I do, though I think we have a very different definition of fun.” You shoot back and roll your eyes. He meant well, you knew that much but you still weren’t in the Halloween mood this year, not with everything else that was going on.

“No complaining.” He grabs your arm and pulls you inside with him.

“This is so stupid.” You sigh, walking through the building. There really wasn’t anything scary here, just the usual things you’d expect in any haunted house.

“I thought I said no complaining earlier.”

“You did but…Brett?” You turn around but there’s no one there anymore, “Come on, I’m not going to hold your hand, so stop trying to scare me.” You say annoyed.

“Are you sure?” He replies amused, jumping out from behind and grabbing you around the waist.

A cold shiver runs down your spine, not because of Brett though. You keep staring in front of you, a pair of glowing eyes visible in the darkness. You knew these eyes and it sure as hell wasn’t a costume. This was a real werewolf for sure, the only question was, would it be going to attack you or not.

“Hey Brett…” You whisper and nudge him a little until he follows your gaze, his body immediately stiffening when he looks up.

The glowing eyes come nearer, gradually stepping out of the darkness, “S-stay away from me.” You whimper, pressing yourself closer against Brett.

“Y/N…run.” He takes your hand and starts running through the small corridors of the haunted house, almost crashing into the decorations a few times.

He drags you behind a curtain, pressing you both close to the wall while none of you dares to even breathe too loud.

“You should come a little closer…” Brett says after a while, smirking at you while his arms wrap around your shoulders.

“We’re trapped in a haunted house, being followed by a dangerous werewolf and you’re trying to flirt with me?”

“You have to take your chances when you get them.”
