Found in northeast Afghanistan, the Himalayas, southern and central China, and Myanmar, these Old World Flycatchers winter in southern India and Sri Lanka. Foraging mostly on the ground in the undergrowth, they eat invertebrates, including insects and their larvae and small mollusks. They build their nests on the ground, sometimes among the roots of trees, from lichen, dry leaves, wool, pine needles, hair, and feathers.
…is a species of Uraniid moth which occurs in Sri Lanka, southern India, China, Borneo and the Solomon Islands. Phazaca luecocera larvae are known to feed on Canthium spp. Intrestingly they will typically rest on the underside of old leaves but will only feed on young leaves.
