This month has been wild, exciting, and loaded with a lot of changes. Of those changes, I have celebrated another birthday (24 now, hollaaaa) and as a way to celebrate and truely ring in a new year of my life, I have accepted a contract to teach english and science in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea and I leave in less than 2 weeks! I feel like there have been so many things that have occurred over the past few months that really made this consideration a reality with relative ease.
This is a huge step for me. The acceptance of this contract was the beginning of a new chapter for me. One of the things i pride myself on is that I always try to be better than I was yesterday. I’ve made many changes for the better over these past few years and this year I plan to work on becoming a more carefree individual; stop worrying about what I have no control over and go take more (good) risks without overthinking (basically minimize overthinking in general haha).
I will live in a foreign country to explore and have the opportunity to learn about myself and grow more as an independent individual. What better way to accomplish this goal than do this?
Be on the lookout for the possibility for a new blog. I’m going on a huge adventure, I’m bound to have lots to share!
