Rambla House by LAND arquitectos is a weekend house located along the central coast of Chile, at Zapallar, about 175 km. from Santiago. The interior spaces were designed so that there is continuity and a direct connection between indoor and outdoors spaces, while protecting the main spaces from harsh local coastal climate, characterized by strong south winds and excessive sun exposure from the west.

True, I talk of dreams, Which are the children of an idle brain, Begot of nothing but vain fantasy, Which is as thin of substance as the air And more inconstant than the wind, who wooes Even now the frozen bosom of the north, And, being anger’d, puffs away from thence, Turning his face to the dew-dropping south.
[Disclaimer: I’m a fairly new translator, but I’ve tried my best making sense of the story with pretty liberal, but carefuldecisions when it comes to making the story flow.]
If anyone’s curious about my pacing, all releases (for now) are going to focus on 14 pages each unless a chapter seems to have fewer pages than others. Because I work alone, the chapters will be released depending on my time or unless someone offers help.
Just know that when the wind blows south, it’s just the weather’s way of saying my hellos. Just know that when you’re alone and no one really acts like they truly care about your situation, I’m a call away. Just know that breaking just means that it’ll stop some day. Just know that when I say I love you, it just means that my heart is open and my soul is silk. I’ve been meaning to write to you, but I’ve been lonely too. We’ve all got dues to pay and people to miss. We’ve all got our fine share of fucked up problems, we’re all trying to fix ourselves. And I know that life’s too short to be stuck on one person forever, so I’ve been carving my heart open just to feel a little something more than self pity. And I know that life’s too great to just be someone else’s second option, so I’ve been doing some thinking about when I’ll choose to go away.
The crescent moon looks like an eyelash dropped on a navy pillowcase of the sky. Evening in anticipation of a sleepless night. It’s time to listen to the strange sounds of the night town and the south-west wind’s tale.
