6217. One time for charity, the main Titans (sans Raven) appeared on an episode of "Chopped". Beast Boy was eliminated in the appetizer round because his sliders were under-cooked. Robin lost the main course round because he let his pasta cook for too long. Cyborg ended up being the Chopped Champion, narrowly beating out Starfire's sour cream and onion ice cream with mushrooms.

harpsiccord  asked:

What are your top three and bottom three Halloween candies? I’m not saying you trick-or-treat, but if you did/do, what would you most like and least like to get? (Including things like pencils and those little plastic spider rings)

When you say “Halloween Candies” do you mean any candy that you can get while trick-or-treating or treats that are usually only available during autumn?

To answer your question: my top three favorite candies are:

Fitblr start

April 1, 2015 my neighbor asked me to do something called “Eat to Live” with her. It was the only meal plan that ever worked for her, and she swore by it. Problem is…it’s vegan with elimination of processed foods and I enjoy things like sour cream, ice cream, cheese, chicken, cheeseburgers, etc…

She was desperate, and said she wouldn’t succeed without an accountability buddy. I was at the highest weight I’d ever been at (non-pregnant) of 243 pounds, so I agreed to help. I didn’t expect much. I had yo-yo’ed on a LOT of diets for 9 years.

Best agreement ever. She lost weight, enough to allow her to get healthy and pregnant with her second even though she had PCOS and had been trying for over a year without success.

Additionally, I lost weight too. Over the next 5 months, I went from a size 18 at 243 pounds, to a size 10 and 185 pounds. October 2015 was my lowest at 183 pounds. I felt healthy, I loved my body, my energy was amazing. I could run on the soccer field again, clothes fit better. It was fantastic!

I gradually got “off plan” when my neighbor got pregnant and my accountability buddy was gone. I edged up to 208 and 218. I freaked out thinking this was all going to end up back at 240 again. Slowly, over the last 2 months I’ve gotten back down to Onderland again. If I can maintain in the 180′s I’ll be happy. BMI calculators say I should be under 164, but I look at my body and think that’s not what I want. I want muscle, and boobs, and a great ass. I think if I get down that low, all those things will be *less* than I want them to be.

So, here’s to 180. It’s right around the corner. And thanks to the fitblrs who are helping me get there.

Shadowblog 3- Sundae Sunday

Sugarcoat: Ah, nothing like a delicious sundae on a sunny Sunday without my idiotic friends could calm me down before the cook-off even more than I already am….

Out side the ice cream shop….

My akuma cake
Sour cream cake with raspberry brandy filling, french buttercream icing and a cream cheese glaze with chocolate akuma decorations

Edit: This was actually meant to be on my personal blog not this one >_ But you guys seem to like it so it can stay for now. This was my birthday/yay the art is all in for the calender cake

I had a BIG buffet dinner today… buttery fish, tons of sushi, orange chicken, sesame chicken, chow mien, sweet and sour chicken, steak kabobs, jello, ice cream, vanilla cake roll slices, these fried cream cheese and chive pastry things that are my favorites… just so much. And I am stuffed. So I guess I just wanted to let the world know!

Apparently I should be staying away from all these things due to my acid reflux:

  • Meats. Ground beef, marbled sirloin, chicken nugget-style, and chicken/buffalo wings.

  • Fats, Oils & Sweets. Chocolate, regular corn and potato chips, high-fat butter cookies, brownies, doughnuts, creamy and oily salad dressings, fried or fatty food in general.

  • Fruits, Vegetables & Juice. Orange juice, lemon, lemonade, grapefruit juice, cranberry juice, tomato, mashed potatoes, French fries, raw onion, potato salad.

  • Other Beverages. Liquor, wine, coffee, and tea.

  • Grains. Macaroni and cheese, spaghetti with marinara sauce.

  • Dairy. Sour cream, milk shake, ice cream, regular cottage cheese.

*crying* 😂😂😂
I got a sample of this protein powder annnd I just ordered a full tub. Ok.

1 tbsp butter, melted
1 egg
1 scoop (34g) protein powder (oh my god this one is orgasmic)
1 tbsp almond flour (EDIT: omit or add less if cake is too dry)
Water (or almond milk but I’m out) to thin out the consistency

Pinch of baking powder

Optional sweetener (I omitted)

I mixed it all together, microwaved for just under 2 minutes. This thing EXPANDED so much, I was surprised it didn’t pop out of mug.

For icing:
1 tbsp sour cream (I’m also out of heavy cream, sigh)
Few drops stevia
Pinch of the same protein powder, ~1g, less than ½ tsp is enough

Macros for the above:
375 kcal, 24g fat, 35g protein, 5g carbs - 2g fiber

Note to self for next time: More butter.

Tony,  Rogue and Clint all prefer plain apple pie (Rogue has cheese with hers), Nat and Bruce love tart rhubarb and raspberry, Steve prefers warm peach pie with ice cream. Bucky’s favourite is a sour cream and raisin pie that Pepper once made from her grandmother’s old family recipe. Wade will eat anything in a pie crust - anything. Logan likes blueberry pie, only because it reminds him of the saskatoon berries he grew up with in Alberta. He hasn’t had a real saskatoon pie in 30 years.

August’s Flavor of the Month #135, Sarsaparilla Sour
sarsaparilla ice cream flavored with bitters and a dash of rye whiskey with chipped chocolate

Hot summer days just weren’t hot summer days without a trip to the corner A&W. A tall pour of root beer, a double scoop of vanilla ‘scream, a straw aaand a spoon and I was a happy girl. Twenty years later and not much has changed, but throw in some bitters for bite and a dash of rye, ya know, for fun.
