Everybody is something

So, who am I?

We are all what we have to be
We are all what we want to be

Am I happy?

We are happy when we find self-fulfillment
The mirror is a cruel perspective
Where superficiality flourishes
And inner beauty is
Shattered by social constructs

Am I beautiful?

From this perspective
The most important beauty
Remains scattered in the devastated glass
Misunderstanding true magnificence

The most breath taking portraits
Camouflage discontent

They are so perfect

Apart from inner agony
And mental destruction

Am I beautiful?

We mark our skin
Modify our bodies
All to achieve an external image
A small piece of the mirror

Appearance alone will not bring true bliss

Am I happy?

Happiness finds the rebellious
The kind-hearted, the responsible
The bottom feeders and the scum alike
Happiness finds the self-content

Am I self-content?

Live for you
Any other reason is pointless

Others will judge
Sneer, scoff
Comment on social conformation

Spill your soul
Edit, change, revise
Create something that portrays
You

So, who am I?

Everybody is something
