Nah nah ur good .definitely do not say colored woman casually tht has strong racist undertones, and rlly is just flat out racist I feel. and do not, I repeat, do not refer to their skin as mocha or chocolate or any food it’s weird and fetishy. I’m not an author so tbh idk but don’t refer to them by their skin color anyways like “the dark skinned man said” like it’s weird but that one could just be me. Just…idk keep it simple? Like maybe once or twice mention it but like…that’s it. Authors tend to mention skin tone 200 times in a story when any character is darker than a paper bag…Again I’m not an author so idk ur gonna have to ask a writer about it .
