This history, uh… Starts in Columbus, Ohio. And, uh… There was few years ago, and, that was before Josh and I were able to make money playing music. And, uh, I called him up and I said “Hey Josh, you wanna come over to my rental house and watch the GRAMMYs?”, and he said “Yeah, who’s hanging in there?”, I said “A couple of my roommates, just coming to watch the GRAMMYs with us”, and, uh, as we were watching we noticed that every single one of us was in our underwear… And, seriously, Josh turned to me and we were no one at that time, he turned to me and he said “You know, if we ever go to the GRAMMYs, if we ever win a GRAMMY, we should receive it just like this”.

Ezarel’s apology + illu

E : Can… Can I talk to you ?

G : About… ?

E : About what you said on the beach. We can go elsewhere if you want. I would understand.

G : We already talked about it, no ?

E : Yes, but… It’s not enough, I have something to tell you…

G : (First choice Gardy let him go in her room.)

Frost (a langst mini fic )

I don’t really know how to describe this AU besides the fact that lance has ice powers and its a bit short ( @moppingleshitoutofyou ) hope you guys like it!

check out some of my other mini fics here

At first, Lance had thought they were beautiful. He wasn’t exactly sure when they got there or even how they got there, all he knew was that they were lovely.

The first time he noticed them was when he was changing out of his pajamas and saw a sprinkle of blue gracing his stomach in the mirror. Amazed, he had glanced down and stare at the light blue freckles that dusted his stomach, like a sky full of stars. He remembered how they seemed to glint under the soft lighting in his room like jewels.

He also remembered the pain that came soon afterwards.

As soon as his fingertips touched the marks, they began to glow harshly and that was when the stinging began. It felt as if someone was stabbing him with a million thumbtacks, which was not a fun feeling. Yelping, Lance immediately stopped touching his stomach, dulling the sting of the marks. For a second Lance thought he was still asleep because when did freckles stab you? He was pretty sure that was not normal.

“Paladins! You are needed in the control room, immediately! I repeat, you are needed in the control room immediately!”

Sparing one last look at the blue marks on his skin, Lance quickly pushed away thoughts on the freckles and focused on the task at hand, getting his paladin gear on in two seconds. After all, it was just a little pain right? And it wasn’t like his hand was going to be on his stomach anyway, so what’s the problem?

It only took a week for the freckles to span across his entire abdomen. Which presented a problem as they team didn’t exactly have time to deal with the marks, especially with the big diplomatic mission they were embarking on soon. Not like the marks cared, they just seemed to cause more trouble.

Ever since he first noticed them, there’s always been this dull sting in the back of his mind, just barely noticeable but always there. Not only that, Lance seemed to be… freezing things now? Of course he wasn’t turning anything to solid ice but if his hand lingered to long in a certain area, tendrils of frost would begin to dance across the surface (The first time that happened freaked him out just a tad). The freckles also began to glow more often, mostly at random times. He would just be chilling on the couch and BAM, his chest was now a light up display (yet another thing that freaked him out).

The logical decision would be to tell the team, but how could he? Sure the diplomatic mission was a huge deal, but that wasn’t the only reason Lance wasn’t coming clean about the strange things that were happening. This was his chance to prove his worth to his team, that he was more than just Lance-the-jokester or Lance-the-screwup. That he was worthy of being the Blue Paladin and of Blue herself.

He could live with a little pain and some weird ice magic if it meant he finally had a thing.

It took a matter of days before the freckles spread to his arms, stopping a few inches short of his wrists. They were currently on the planet Eyena, a relatively peaceful planet that were known for their mines and the valuable ores within them. Lance couldn’t mess up this meeting, this alliance with a species that could help the team immensely. He wasn’t that selfish.

It wasn’t like the marks would listen to him though. The pain only worsened and suddenly everything he touched with his hands froze. He was forced to wear gloves constantly to hide the power he now had, the delicate loops of blue that now covered them. The pain was constant and even Blue began to worry at this point. However, Lance put up his brave face and pushed through it all, the pain, the ache, the emptiness…

It felt like only hours before Lance could feel the chill of ice spreading across his body, practically crawling up his throat. There was a ringing in his ears now and he somehow managed to freeze the gloves he wore as well. The only good thing was that the meetings were almost over and soon Lance could be back on the castle, away from prying eyes to finally fix whatever was happening.

Until then, he nodded along with whatever one of the Eyenians were saying, playing his part as the Blue Paladin and knowing he was slowly, finally becoming worthy of actually being the Blue Paladin.

How minutes had flown by? Lance couldn’t recall what had happened in the past few moments, as he was now in his room back at the castle. It had only been a few minutes right? Lance could feel his breath quickening as he glanced wildly around, how did he get here in just a few minutes? The room seemed to grow colder with each sharp intake he took, the bed beginning to freeze beneath him. Had it been more than just a few minutes? The ringing was now a roaring storm in his ears. It couldn’t have been than just a few? Lance could feel his hands shaking, the marks glowing a bright blue as the ice spread farther, faster around the room. It had been just a few minutes. Maybe two or three? Lance felt like tearing his hair out, he felt so confused at the moment, so out of place, out of time.

Was it only seconds now? How many seconds had flown by? He knew his room wasn’t always this cold and shiny, and it certainly hadn’t been a second ago. The marks burned harshly, and was that someone calling his name? It couldn’t have been. Because only a second ago he had been fine, he is fine, is he fine?

That evening, you brought Jun back to your apartment, unsure where he’d be left out on the streets if the police figured out what he was.

You still struggled to fully grasp what he was also, but you were at least willing to learn and keep it a secret as well. Parking the car out front, it wasn’t raining as you stepped outside anymore, but the wind was harshly blowing, which wasn’t any better for your cold.

Jun seemed to notice this, as upon your first sneeze, he called out from inside the car, “Are you alright?"

After all, he couldn’t get out. The car door handle was still broken.

Opening the door, you nodded, watching Jun quickly step out and wrap his arms around you. "Your body temperature is quite cold. I shall warm you up.” The gesture would have been sweet, but it was already late and you were still out in public. “Um, Jun–,” you stammered, trying to close the car door while still in his embrace. “—we need to get inside."

Jun’s temperature sensors really did the trick, as once you were inside, you no longer felt freezing from your cold.

The boy-bot stared around, curious about the abode. "Make yourself at home, I guess. Are you hungry? Wait, do robots need to eat?"

"I am actually completely self-sufficient,” Jun replied. “There is no need for me to eat, sleep, shower, or rest at any time.” You sighed in relief, knowing that you would still only mainly need to provide for yourself at best.

“Wait, so if I asked you to eat, would that be impossible?"

"No, I could eat. I simply don’t need to."

"Oh. Well, what about your battery? Something robotic has to have a battery, right?” Jun pointed to the back of his neck, where you could see a small indentation sticking out.

You pressed it, and a control panel popped out, with different stats that confused you the more you tried to understand them. Regardless, the word ’battery’ was there, and next to it was a 99% symbol, so you assumed he’d be okay for quite a while.

In fact, most of the control panel looked like this:

Model: JW61096
Version: 1.0
Current status: idle
Battery: 99% (5.5 months left)
ES: 2% discovered
HC: Not in progress

You weren’t sure what HC or ES stood for, but you noticed two ports and a button on the outside of the panel.

One of them must be to charge him, you thought. ‘Reset’ sat under the button, which you refused to press.

Closing the panel, Jun sat up once again, looking at you attentively. “Did you find everything you need to know?” You nodded. “Just a few more things. How long does your battery last?” “Six months."

You blinked. That was already a long period of time. "How do I charge you?” “Most cords work, however, I believe your cellular device’s charger would function.” “How long?” “Five to ten minutes.” “It takes you five to ten minutes to charge up to 6 months?!"

Well, that’s bizarre

It was already close to 9 pm at that point, and being accustomed to sleeping earlier, you yawned, drowsy. A pair of strong arms picked you up bridal style, and you yelped at Jun, who replied, "My love is tired, she must go to bed.” He held a strong grasp, “Wait, wait, but we didn’t get to talk about—” Jun stopped in his tracks, still mid-hallway.

“Why’d you stop?"

"You said wait, my love."

Groaning, you forgot how literal he was to your every move. "Take me to my room and we’ll talk about it there.”

You had to admit, being carried around by Jun wasn’t half bad, especially if he was willing to do it. He didn’t break a sweat, nor make any sounds of struggling.

Opening the door to your bedroom, you turned on the light, Jun sitting down on the bed, you still in his arms. “Jun. You can put me down now."

"Is that what you want?" Honestly, no

He put you down anyway, a bit to your disappointment. "So this apartment has two bed rooms, but the other one’s kind of empty.."

"Going into sleep mode helps me save battery,” he murmured.

“Good, because from now on, you’ll be sleeping anywhere from 7-9 hours at night every night."

"I do what my love asks,” he replied with a golden smile. “Where will I be sleeping?"

You don’t have any other beds in the apartment, and the couch in the den is not only small, but it’s cold at night in the den, and you don’t own many blankets…

You sighed. "You’ll just have to sleep in here with me, I guess. Just until we find you a new bed!"

Jun cheered. "I’m so happy, I get to sleep with my love Y/N in her bed!” The happiness was truly an innocent type, the bot’s naivety coming out to play again. Emotional sensors rising..

“I don’t know what I’m going to about Nayoung’s car, though..” You checked your phone, and you had a few stray calls and messages from both her and Wonwoo. Jun rose from the bed. “I will be back, my love,” he chimed, and left the room.

You heard the front door open and close, and gasped, watching him through the window as he walked towards Nayoung’s car. He walked with a normal gait, making him look even more normal. It was dark, and you couldn’t see much of what was going on except for Jun crouched against the car door. It took him only thirty seconds to close the door and walk back towards the apartment.

The front door opened and closed again, the lock clicking.

“I fixed it, my love!"

Eyebrows furrowed, you ran out to the hallway, where Jun stood, a smile on his face. "It is all fixed, so please tell Nayoung that she has no reason to worry."

You gaped. "What kind of weird robot tools did you use to fix that?” Jun cocked his head to the side. “Weird to you, possibly, but not to me. How is your sickness doing, my love?"

You sniffled. "It could be better,” you wiped your nose on your jacket, “but I thought we were going to call me by my first name now?"
Jun gasped in horror, bowing and apologizing. "I forgot, please forgive me!"

Coughing, you laughed a little. He’s not real, right? "I guess it’s okay if you call me by that in private.. but not in public! People will give you weird looks if you start yelling 'my love’ everywhere."

 Jun rose, and nodded. "Understood.”

While spending a little more time with Jun, you learned that his brain worked as a database; he compiled information as much as he could inside it. He didn’t lack emotions, but he hadn’t discovered most of them yet, nor has he had the chance to understand the ones he has already.

You also learned that he was a master chef, and did most things efficiently and quickly. While he planned on making you a four-course meal with a massage, you went against that, instead asking him for toast and some meds for your cold.

(He had to look up what toast was; “Burnt bread?” “Not burned. There’s a toaster in the kitchen.”)

While he took care of that, you changed out of your work clothes, swapping them for comfy pjs.

Thankfully, Jun walked in as soon as you were done changing. “Common courtesy is to knock, Jun.”

“Noted.”

You were nearly ready to snuggle into bed, until you realized; Jun was still dressed in the same clothes from two days ago, and he had to sleep in your bed right next to you..

Scurrying to your drawers, you looked for any old clothes or oversized shirts that would hopefully fit the boy-bot. He cocked his head to the side in curiosity as he watched.

Finding one of your largest shirts and a pair of sweatpants that were three times your size, you handed them to Jun, who took them tentatively, probably doing research. “Go change, we’ll need to wash those clothes sometime soon.”

You paused, gasping.

“Are you wearing underwear?”

The boy-bot blinked.

“Give me a moment while I do my research on underwear.”

It took fifteen minutes to at least find something that looked like a pair of boxers, and then you sent him to your bathroom. “Change!”

You stood outside the door in case he needed help. A question had suddenly crossed your mind; one you didn’t want to ask.

“J-Jun..?”

“Yes, my love?” he called from inside, voice muffled by the door.

“Do you have a..?” you struggled to find the right word.

“A…?”

You looked down at your fingertips, shy. “A r-reproductive organ..?”

The door opened, and in the doorway stood Jun, looking unfazed by your question. “Yes, I do. Why do you ask?”

Jun looked more decent now, wearing one of your brother’s old college shirts, and a pair of sweatpants which were loose enough on him, thanks to his lanky exterior.

“H-how is that even possible? You’re a robot, are you supposed to have those kinds of organs?”

“Well, I was doing my research, and I believe I identify better with the term ‘android’. Mostly because I looked up ‘human robots’ and got negative responses, with bots that looked nothing like me. Androids seemed to be better received. And I do have human skin, and am supposed to operate like a human, so it’s only important that I have the organ as well. I can’t reproduce, my love, but I will do my best to satisfy you in case that day ever comes,” Jun rambled, grabbing both your hands.

He was kind of right, android sounded cooler than robot. When you thought of robot, you thought of something metalloid with hinges and sensors that beeped every second.

The ‘pleasing’ part caused you to whimper a little, only because of how vulgar it sounded.

“Trust me Jun,” you stared at him, “humans take a long time in relationships before they ever get to.. that stage.”

Having eaten your toast and taken your medicine, you only inspected that the back and front doors were locked, and that Nayoung’s car was also locked and still in your driveway. You considered texting Wonwoo to make sure that Nayoung was alright, but he was most likely already asleep himself, and you could see his car in the driveway all the way from the apartment’s front window.

Jun lied on your bed, still making interested noises with the familiar teen girl magazine that you’d bought for him in his hands.

Looking up, he grinned, watching you stand in the doorway. “Is it time for sleep now, my love?”

“Pretty much. How do you go into sleep mode?” you asked.

“Almost like a normal human would. I close my eyes for 30 seconds, and I am asleep.”

You turned the light in the room off, feeling the need of sleep for once. “If you’re going to be staying here, we’re going to have to buy you more clothes,” you yawned mid-sentence, feeling sleep want to take you over as you slipped under the covers of the bed.

“That seems like a nice idea,” Jun muttered quietly, turning towards you. “You look tired. Sleep, my love. I won’t sleep until you will.”

“Goodnight Jun,” you murmured, resting into the comfy mattress of your bed. Turning off the lights didn’t do much for the android himself, as he had night vision to rely on, but feeling the peaceful atmosphere of the room, and hearing the light patter of rain against the window once more, Jun was certain he had learned a new emotion—calmness.

“Goodnight, Y/N,” he replied, and felt his internal sensors shutting down, entering the human-like sleep mode. Breathing enabled.. database shut down, bodily functions paused.

In your dreams that night, you dreamed of a particular boy-bot, one with a shining smile, and a mind that was both innocently naive but also incredibly smart.

The following morning, you were the one to wake up first, and you almost forgot that Jun was 75% metal. His mouth was slightly parted open, and you could hear distinct breathing, along with his chest rising up and down.

You hesitantly reached a hand out to touch his hair, which was surprisingly soft. It was a chestnut color, combed in a floppy way, however now it was all over the pillows as the boy peacefully slept.

The attention to detail of this creation still had you questioning why he was tossed aside in a dumpster, as you could make out the gentle callouses on his fingertips, the length of his eyelashes, and his pillowy, soft-looking skin.

You grazed the side of his face with your hand, gasping quietly at how soft and realistic his skin truly felt.

A knock at the door interrupted your thoughts, and you scoffed. It was Saturday morning, so you had no shifts until the afternoon, and even then, those were optional.

Being cautious not to wake the boy-bot up as you stepped out of bed (after all, you weren’t sure what would and what wouldn’t wake him up), you put on a pair of slippers, making your way towards the front door.

Opening it, you sighed. “Hello?”

“Morning to you too,” Wonwoo snorted, taking in your appearance. “It’s eleven and you’re still dressed like that?”

It’s already 11 am? Damn. “And so what if I am? Did you need something?”

“Actually I did, Nayoung crashed the fuck out at my place yester—” “My love?” Another voice called out.

Wonwoo’s eyebrows raised, and he stared at the floor awkwardly. You turned, only to see Jun standing close behind you, bedhead wild, and even worse, shirtless.

“Well.. nice turn of events. Nayoung wants her car back, by the way. She’s at my place right now, but she’s still sleeping, so I thought I’d stop by, but uh, you seem to be busy,” Wonwoo said, awkwardly scratching the back of his head.

Gaping, you realized how bad this looked. “It’s not what it looks like! He just—”

“Nah, I got it. Uh, pop in when you have the chance, yeah?”

He waved, and it almost seemed like he speed-walked back to his own apartment, shutting the door with a slam.

Closing your own door, you looked at Jun, who stared aimlessly. “Why are you shirtless?”

“When I woke up, I was starting to overheat, so I took it off.”

You sighed. “Jun..” “Was that your coworker?” You nodded. “He lives right next door.”

“It would seem I’ve done something wrong again?” he asked, a somber tone in his voice.

“No, no, no, it’s fine,” you quickly muttered, rushing over to Jun. “It was just bad timing, is all. People think it’s weird when you answer the door late and then have a guy come up behind you without his shirt on.”

“Really? I will make note of that as I make breakfast.”

Jun was surprisingly a good cook, although you wondered if his skills would have been the same provided he was human. You didn’t have many groceries, but he was able to make a decent omelette and pancakes with what you did have.

Needless to say, it was a lot better than eating instant ramen.

“Considering I don’t know where else to take you, you’ll have to stay here at home,” you said between mouthfuls of egg.

Jun looked at you in horror. “At home.. away from you? Is that safe?”

You nodded. “Should be fine, as long as you don’t go anywhere.”

Jun thought about it. “I do not think I feel safe leaving you there alone. However, research I am doing shows low statistics of assault, and forums say that any responsible boyfriend lets their beloved come and go as they please if they truly trust them. I trust you, my love!”

The sheepish smile on his face was adorable.

“I will miss you dearly, my love,” Jun chimed, watching you standing in the doorway. You laughed. “I’ll only be gone for a few hours Jun, and Nayoung will both take and bring me back. If anything happens, you can dial my phone with the number I told you. Remember it?”

He recited the number perfectly. Perks of having an automatic brain.

Once you were gone, Jun looked around him, still unfamiliar with many of the objects in the apartment. “Time to do research,” he mumbled.

For once, you weren’t on register duty for once, and you calmly made conversation with both Nayoung and Wonwoo for most of your shift.

“So Y/N,” Nayoung pressed, leaning over the counter, “how did yesterday go? You never called me back.”

You scoffed. “I returned your car, didn’t I?” Shoving chip bags into aisles, Wonwoo laughed. “Her boytoy spent the night with her.”

That emit a gasp from Nayoung. “Y/N!”

Shut up,” you hissed at Wonwoo, who had a shit-eating grin on his face. Turning back to Nayoung, you placed your hands on the counter. “It’s not like that,” you began, “Won’s just mad because he didn’t get to see me all pretty for once.”

The male snorted. “Since when do you call me Won?”

“Since when do you care about my love life?” Scoffing, he shoved a bag into your hands. “I don’t.”

“We’re not done, Y/N,” Nayoung playfully sang. “We are so talking about this later.”

“Later? Like over text?”

She laughed. “No, silly! We’re going out for drinks later.”

“A reminder neither me nor Y/N are legal,” Wonwoo pointed out, raising his eyebrows at a box of condoms.

The oldest sighed. “Fine. We’ll grab a few slushies from here and hang out back at your place,” she replied, looking at you.

“My place? I don’t think so.”

“Why not?” Nayoung whined. She gasped. “Don’t tell me… he wasn’t just a one night stand!”

You didn’t see it, but Wonwoo’s head whipped around, and he gripped the box he was holding tighter.

“Aw! Y/N! I’m so happy for you,” she yelled, running over to hug you. “It only took you a month to get a boyfriend!”

You groaned. “He’s not my boyfriend! We didn’t even do anything! Honestly, I’m not even sure what we are.. but that doesn’t matter! Neither of you are allowed over until I say so!”

Nayoung pouted. “Bullshit. But fine, have it your way. At least tell us what his name is!”

“Wen Junhui,” you replied, sweeping up dust off the floor.

“That doesn’t sound Korean.”

“Isn’t Wen the name of that rich owner of some Chinese company?” Wonwoo asked, suddenly now more interested in the conversation then in honey butter chips.

“Ooh, I think so! Do you think he’s rich? Oooooh, Y/N, you scored yourself a good one!”

“Thanks,” you replied flatly.

After your shifts, the three of you each got a slushie. Since yesterday, your cold seemed to have worn off, and the weather was pleasant enough, far nicer than it had been days ago.

Wonwoo was the one who drove you back home, since Nayoung couldn’t actually come over after all (”I have family issues!”), and you lived right next door, it wasn’t much of a problem. The three of you all seemed to be growing closer with each other at a rapid rate.

“So he isn’t your boyfriend, then?” Wonwoo asked, eyes seemingly focus on the road. “N-no, I wouldn’t say so.”

“You sound like you’re lying.” “How would you know that?”

Wonwoo chuckled. “Wow, always so feisty. You’ll be a challenge for him.”

The car pulled up in the driveway of the apartments, and getting out of the car, you thanked him for the ride. “See you later!”

“Yeah, I will be,” he waved passively, disappearing inside his apartment.

“What kind of a response is that?” you asked. Shaking your head, you opened the door to your own apartment, which still appeared in pristine condition, the boy nowhere to be found. Locking the door behind you, you removed your jacket, setting your slushie down on the table.

“Jun, I’m home,” you shouted into the hallway. “In here, my love!”

You pushed the door to the den open, and the sight that greeted you couldn’t have been any more adorable.

Jun was sitting, legs crossed on the couch, watching a drama on your laptop.

“You left your laptop open, so I figured I would take a look. I’ve already mastered its usage!” He looked proud of himself.

“That’s good,” you replied, ruffling his hair. Still soft. “At first, I was only watching these to help me memorize human behavior, but I think they’re also helping me with speech patterns as well,” he noted, pausing the drama on the screen.

“It sure sounds like it, you sound a lot more understandable,” you noticed. “You learn this much in only one afternoon?”

He nodded. “I promised you I would be the ideal lover, and that is what I plan on doing!”

Jun’s cheesiness was as usual as ever, but you’d be a liar if you said it wasn’t working on you.

“I brought you something new to try, if you’re interested.” “Always!”

He followed you out into the hallway, eyes widening at the drink on the table. “That is a very dark shade of blue.”

You put the straw up to his lips. “Try it!”

He tentatively closed his mouth over the straw, and you watched as he calmly sucked some of it up, pulling away from it afterwards. “Artificial flavors, high fructose corn syrup, water, and raspberry flavoring.”

“You can tell all of that just from tasting it?”

“No, I looked up the ingredient list in my head while drinking it.”

Giggling, you shoved his shoulder lightly. “You’re such a nerd.”

Jun gasped, and you stopped. “What?”

“She did that in the drama too!”

Sighing in relief, you glanced at the clock on the kitchen stove. It wasn’t too late, but considering tomorrow was your day off, you didn’t feel too much of a need to sleep.

“Time for sleep already?” Jun asked, taking another sip.

“Not if you don’t want to, but we should probably try looking for some other clothes for you..” you drawled, noticing he was still wearing the same pajamas from last night.

Rummaging through your drawers and through other boxes you hadn’t unpacked yet, you discovered an old black and yellow striped sweater. It looked hideous on you, but when Jun pulled it on himself, it looked decent, great even. That would become one of his usual outfit tops until he went shopping for other clothes (or until you took him), along with the dark jeans he’d shown up in.

He still lacked underwear though, and you stammered, unsure what to do about that.

“Should I flip it inside out?” “That’s disgusting, no.”

For now, shorts replaced boxers, and another pair of your old pajama pants went on top.

“This will have to do for tonight.”

Throwing his other clothes in the dirty laundry pile, you stared at Jun. You hated to say it, but it was only the second day and you were already growing fond of him, unsure if you wanted to let him live anywhere else.

He noticed, and laughed. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

You blinked, looking away quickly. “No reason.” He laughed again, a cheerful, human-sounding laugh. “Bed now?”

You nodded. “Yeah. Bed.”

“Taking references from a few of the dramas I watched,” Jun muttered, “I saw some typical character tropes and I was wondering if you could tell me which one of their personalities suits me best.”

You nodded in understanding. “Go for it.”

“Well, there was the smooth, suave and mature type. He seemed to always have everything under control.”

You shook your head. Doesn’t really fit Jun.

Well, then there was the overtly sweet and caring type. He let himself get stepped on all throughout the drama.”

You shook your head again. Still doesn’t fit him, except for the overly caring part.

He blinked. “Then there was the charming and playful type. The drama called it the ‘Boy Next Door’ type.”

Bingo.

You nodded your head in favor of that one. “Personally, I think that one would suit you best, but it’s really up to you which personality you want to adjust to. This is still a little weird to me, but I want you to have a little bit of your own mental freedom as well, Jun.”

He beamed, and you knew he understood what you meant. “That’s quite kind of you. I thank you for that, my love.”

Idle talk in the dark carried on for another twenty minutes until the two of you muttered your mutual ‘goodnight’s, lulling yourselves to sleep, Jun even feeling a bit more human by the end of it.

From what the both of you knew at this point, the world was at peace.

hoLY SHIT THIS CHAPTER WAS LONG AND IM TIRED

so originally i had this cut after the part where they go to sleep the first night but that made the chapter way too short and i was NOT posting a filler chapter no thank u

unfortunately the continuation of it led to this lengthy nonsense which i hope was enjoyable

hopefully i’m not panning out jun’s character development too quickly—i’m not trying to have this story pan out over 2 years, and he is a robot so i’m trying to have his character develop as quickly as i can

anyway mostly slice of life stuff in this chapter but more action is def coming up soon i promisseeee

(also updates wont be this close in between each other so enjoy it while it lasts)

{Septiplier/Danti AU} - J A M D [Here you go, @snuggle-tart!]

In the beginning, they were enjoying their jobs, their careers, and their friends. The blooming romance between Jack and Mark was just settling, cute and warm and everything happy–until Jack started hearing voices that weren’t his.

There was an entity living within him–not a man, but something far darker. It clawed at him day and night, ceasing to give him any peace, any semblance of rest until he let it in, let it get what it wanted. Jack was losing his mind, forgetting the boundaries between reality and his hallucinations, until one day it stopped.

And then he appeared. His name was Anti, and he wanted to be free.

Soon after, Jack encounters Dark–his boyfriend’s own demonic leech, dead set on destroying anything good, and more importantly, anything good to Mark.

Anti’s exorcism was a failed experiment at best–and taking on the form of his mortal host, Anti has no idea how to be human. He hardly sleeps and he’s fighting with Jack constantly, slamming his head into various cabinets and counters, until finally he pins him down with a knife, demanding he teach him how to be human.

Jack agrees, and after some time, they develop a system. They’re tentative friends, smoking weed and drinking coffee. The situation brings Mark and Jack closer together, finding solace in their shared struggle, whereas Anti and Dark form an unlikely bond–being the only two of their kind.

It isn’t quite love, but it’s peace. That’s really all they can ask for.

“Love is human, Seán. I am not.”

“Sure, sure. All the while, Dark looks at you like Mark looks at me–that means something, doesn’t it?”

-

“Do you love him?”

“That’s your dumbest question yet, hotshot. A rebuttal: Do you love Jack? The answer is the same.”

Scars, Marks, and Tattoo’s.

Wayhaught Fluff - Sorry about this. Enjoy!

The first time they had sex Nicole was focused. So focused on giving Waverly everything, that she didn’t have time to memorize every freckle, and scar on her girlfriend’s body.

So the second time they had sex she made sure to examine every inch of Waverly’s body. She was determined to find out everything she could about this woman though the marks on her body.

She kissed the small birthmark she found below her left ear.

“What about this scar?” She asked as she gently kissed the white mark near her elbow.

“Bike accident when I was 9.” Waverly smiled as she stroked her fingers through her girlfriends hair.

She continued to kiss down her body, smiling as she found three freckles on right hip. Nicole’s lips traveled to the other side of her hip. And then they stopped.

She pulled back to examine the colorful ink on the smaller woman’s hip bone. It was small but Nicole still wondered how on earth she had missed an hour ago when they stripped each other naked.

“Waves, what’s this?” She smiled as her fingertips danced over the bright tattoo. It was a feather, one that looked somewhat like a peacock feather. It was colorful, and detailed, and beautiful.

Waverly leaned up on her elbows so she could see Nicole’s face. “Oh that…it’s nothing…it’s stupid.” She stuttered a bit, trying to dismiss the ink.

Nicole’s eyes didn’t move from the tattoo. Her fingers continued to moved back and forth over it. “It’s not stupid, it’s pretty.” She said as she brought her lips to the feather tattoo. “Does it mean anything?” She asked looking back at Waverly with that warm encouraging smile of hers. Nicole saw Waverly’s expression change. She knew it meant something but she might not be ready to talk about it. “You don’t have to tel-”

“No it's…” Waverly sat up a bit and took a breath. “I don’t remember a lot about my dad.” Nicole could hear the hurt in her girlfriend’s voice. She rested her arm across Waverly’s hip and then rested her head there as she watched her talk. “He died when I was so young that most of the memories I have of him are just a blur now. But…when I was little…” Waverly smiled as she lost herself in the moment. “He would always pick me up and say ‘my little Wave is as light as a feather’. Eventually he just started calling me his little feather.” She shrugged. “I don’t know it was just always the one thing I remembered. The one thing I held onto, ya know?” She looked back at Nicole who nodded her head, tears welling up in her eyes. “And then on my 18th birthday, I was walking to my car in the morning and this feather was sitting on my windshield. It was so beautiful and bright, like a peacock feather but…but it didn’t make any sense, I had never seen anything like it.

“Waves, I have chills.” Nicole’s chimed in.

Waverly laughed and nodded. “I did too. So I got in the car, and drove right to the tattoo shop. I brought the feather in with me and the next thing I know…” she motioned to the ink on her hip.

“Baby….” Nicole smiled. “I love that.” She looked back at the tattoo.

“Champ hated it. He said it was gay and that girls shouldn’t have tattoos.” Waverly said as she watched the way Nicole admired it.

“Yeah, well Champ is a walking talking homophobic dude bro stereotype that wouldn’t know beauty if it smacked him across the face.” Nicole rolled her eyes and Waverly laughed. “Baby this is beautiful.”

“I think so too.” Waverly nodded feeling the tears well up in her eyes too.

“Plus…I always found tattoos on girls kinda hot.” Nicole smiled up at Waverly before kissing the ink again.

“Oh yeah?” She smiled back.

“Yeah, its badass.” Nicole giggled.

“Would you ever get one?” Waverly asked with that mischievous glint in her eyes.

Nicole thought for a minute. “Yeah I think I would.”

“What would you get?” Waverly asked as she brushed a strand of hair out of the redhead’s face.

“I don’t know…..” she thought again. “Maybe a wave.” She laughed as she glanced up at Waverly.

Waverly felt her heartbeat quicken. She stuttered out a “really?”

Nicole’s nodded as she said “yeah….I really love the ocean.” Waverly laughed and smacked her in the arm. Nicole laughed too and continued to kiss her hip bone. “Did it hurt?”

“Not really. But us Earps have a pretty high pain tolerance.” Waverly grinned.

“So I’ve heard.” Nicole’s giggled.

“You know, no one’s ever asked me about it before.” Waverly commented.

“Really? Not even Champ?” Nicole’s asked.

“No, all he said when he saw it was ‘what’s that’ ‘looks dumb’.” Waverly lowered her voice as she impersonated him.

“What an intellectual.” Nicole’s said sarcastically.

“I mean not a lot of people have seen it. I guess a couple of the girls I went to a lake house with a few years ago, Champ, and my aunt saw it once…but no one ever asked about it.” She said as she ran her finger through Nicole’s hair again.

“Well I’m glad I did. It’s a great story Waves.” Nicole gave her another smile. “I like learning about you.”

Waverly laughed and leaned forward to kiss Nicole. “There’s a scar on my knee from a wall ball tournament in 5th grade.” She whispered against her girlfriend lips when they pulled away. Nicole laughed and found the scar on Waverly’s right knee. “15 stitches but I won and that’s what matters.”

“I bet you were a crazy kid.” Nicole’s laughed as she let her fingers touch the faded scar.

“Had to live up to the name somehow.”

Nicole lifted her chin to showed Waverly a small scar. “Freshman year of college, fell in the shower.”

“What?!” Waverly laughed.

“I may have been a little drunk but yeah slipped and cut my chin pretty bad.” She explained.”oh and this finger.” She said holding up her ring finger on her right hand. “See how it’s kind crooked.” Waverly examined it and nodded. “Slammed it in the car door at 16.”

They continued to talk about all the scars they had, the body parts they had broken doing stupid things, the genetic and oddly shaped birthmarks on their bodies.

The love they made after that felt intimate, almost more intimate than their first time. Because now they knew things about each other, things no one else did. There was a vulnerability that came with learning about someone else’s scars and marks, someone’s past.

Before they fell asleep that night Nicole found herself stroking the tattoo again, her eyes fixated on the ink. “He was right, you know.”

“Who?” Waverly was laying on her side facing Nicole, her sleepy eyes transfixed on her girlfriends face.

“Your dad.” Nicole smiled as she looked back at Waverly. “You are light as a feather.” Waverly couldn’t help the smile that spread across her face. “And I don’t just mean physically.” She laughed “You…you have this way about you Waves.” Nicole brushed the hair out of Waverly’s face and let it linger on her cheek. “When I’m with you I feel light. I feel like I’m floating.”

“I feel that way too…when I’m with you.” Waverly nuzzled her face against Nicole’s hand and closed her eyes.

“You really are like this feather. Colorful, and bright, and so…so beautiful.” Nicole spoke and Waverly opened her eyes again. Her eyes immediately met Nicole’s and all she was was love. For the first time she saw someone that understood her. Someone that just got it. Yes it was just a tattoo but Nicole knew what it really meant to her. She got the real meaning behind it. She could feel the tears well up again. “It fits you Waves.” Waverly nodded and then curled her body against Nicole’s.

Nicole held her in her arms that night, strong but delicate, as if she was hold the most precious feather.
