It was 1:48AM by the time you and your boyfriend got home from your cousin’s wedding reception. It had been an insane night filled with lots of booze and a ton of dancing. Both you and Chris had drunk and danced your way long into the night; there was no doubt your heads and feet were going to pay for it tomorrow. But it’d been a great night, the two of you- as always- had a lot of fun together. The two of you were so cute together that everyone- even the bride and groom- were a little jealous of your relationship.
Chris spent the entire wedding being a total sweetheart, there was an endless list of sweet things he did: he carried your purse for you while you went to the toilet, he accompanied you when you had to run around and greet family members you hadn’t seen or talked to since you were a little girl, he wrapped an arm around you and kissed your hair when you started getting emotional about the vows, he made sure you drank enough water and ate enough food to counteract the alcohol you were consuming because he knew you were a lightweight after two years of being together. Chris even gave you his too-big-for-you shoes towards the end of the night, carried your heels in his hand, and ruined his favorite socks- all because he knew your feet were killing and couldn’t bear to see you in pain. You’d lucked out with him, that was for sure.
Chris carefully stacked your heels onto the shoe rack before turning his attention to his shoes that you easily slipped off. He picked them up and slotted them into their respective spot on the rack before taking your hand and hauling your half-drunk ass upstairs. Your eyes fell on his favorite socks which were no longer a pretty cobalt blue considering he padded around on public grounds without his shoes protecting them. You felt terrible as you were responsible for murdering his socks; it was more than likely you could just soak and wash them, but your half-drunk ass didn’t think of that.
“I’m sorry,” you said and he glanced over his shoulder at you with a raised brow; he’d no idea what you were apologizing for. “I ruined your favorite socks,” you explained then pouted, making him laugh. “They’re all dirty and gross now, thanks to me.”
“They’re just socks, sweetheart.” He shrugged nonchalantly because he really didn’t care, “don’t worry about it.” He tucked your arm under his when you got upstairs, he chuckled when he saw that you were still beating yourself up over the socks. “You’re still a little drunk, aren’t you?” He squeezed your hand gently and led you to the bedroom.
“I’m very much sober,” you said with a lopsided grin that made him laugh.
“Okay, my love. Let’s put you to bed,” he pressed a kiss on the top of your head.
He sat you down in front of your dressing table while he went into the bathroom to get your makeup cleanser and cotton pads. “Think you can manage?” He quizzed when he held out the two items for you; you nodded and took it from him, turning to the mirror to start the tedious process of removing your makeup. “Now let’s get this off,” he said as he moved your long locks out of the way to take off your necklace for you.
“Hey, Chris?” You looked at him through the mirror.
“Hm?” He looked up at you after he successfully removed your necklace.
“Do you think we’ll ever get married?” You asked him and he immediately smiled.
“Of course I do.” He lowered your necklace in your jewelry box. “I’m just waiting for the right time to pop the question. I feel like now isn’t because of my contract with Marvel, I mean- I don’t want to have to leave you after just getting engaged. I kind of just want to jump into the whole wedding planning and post-engagement glow, I can’t really do that if I have to run off. So I thought I’d wait until after my contract with Marvel finishes, if that’s okay with you.”
“As long as I know you’re in it for the long haul,” you smiled, “I’m okay with anything you want.”
“Sweetheart,” he chuckled. “Of course I’m in it for the long haul, if I weren’t- I wouldn’t have asked you to move in with me and I definitely wouldn’t have added your name to the house’s legal documents.” You nodded in acknowledgement. “Are you sure you’re sober?” He chuckled again, lifting your hair over your shoulders and letting it cascade down your back.
“Yes, I’d be a lot worst if I were drunk. You should know that by now,” you said and he laughed. “The wedding’s just got me thinking about having one of my own. I know you’re in it for the long haul, but we just haven’t talked about getting married before so-” You stopped talking and began to mumble when you saw the smile he had on his face, “I don’t know, I guess I just wanted to hear you say it.”
“I’m going to marry you,” he bent over and whispered into your ear. “I am not going anywhere and neither are you.” He planted a kiss into your hair, “are we on the same page now?” You chuckled but nodded, and he smiled. “I’m going to change out of this, I’ll be right back to unzip you.”
“Okay,” you nodded and resumed cleaning off your makeup.
In the mirror, you caught Chris walking into the wardrobe. He stood half in, half out as he took off his blazer, tie, slacks, then shirt. You watched him with great appreciation for his amazing physique; he was a lot more than his body, but it didn’t mean you didn’t appreciate it. He caught you admiring him as he pulled a pair of track pants over his legs, he smirked as he walked over shirtless with his tee in his hand.
“Why don’t you take a picture,” he teased, “it lasts longer.”
“Don’t really need to take a picture if you’re here for the long haul,” you winked at him. He chuckled and started to pull his tee over his head when you caught a tattoo on the side of his ribcage that you’d never seen before. “Hold up,” you lowered your cotton pad and turned around, lifting his shirt to take a closer look at the unfamiliar tattoo. “When did you get a new tattoo?” You trailed your finger across it then laughed softly when you realized what the tattoo was; a date, 4/7/2015. “Aren’t you patriotic, Captain?”
“Not that patriotic,” he responded with a light chuckle. “This is actually for the first time you told me you loved me,” he explained and you felt your heart skip a beat as you lowered his shirt. “Remember? Fourth of July, you met my family for the first time?” You nodded, smiling; it was a good day. “We rented a place by the beach, my whole family came out and we had a huge barbecue bonfire type thing.”
“And we snuck away just before they let off the fireworks,” you continued and he nodded, smiling. “We went for a walk on the beach and I told you I loved you, a feeling you very easily reciprocated which was nice to know. I can’t believe you got that memory tattooed into your skin,” you gently poked the spot where the tattoo was, “you couldn’t just keep it in your brain?”
“Nope,” he shook his head with a smile that made your heart flutter. “Because that memory is far too important to me. Yes, it reminds me of the first time you told me you loved me, but it’s more than that.” You raised a brow for a more elaborate explanation. “It’s the day my life fell into place, Y/N. When you told me you loved me, it was like- all the stars aligned,” he admitted and you felt your eyes welled with tears of joy. “That was the day I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you.” He brought your hand to his lips and kissed it gently, then chuckled against your skin as he said. “And the day my mom said she’d disown me if I ever lost you.”
“Yeah, right,” you laughed. “Lisa loves you way too much to disown you, even if you did lose me.”
“You clearly don’t know how much she loves you,” he smiled. “About as much as I do,” he bopped your nose. You lifted his shirt to admire the tattoo again when he released your hand; an act to which he chuckled softly at. “If you’re wondering when I got it, let’s just say it’s been an inappropriate amount of time for you not to notice.”
“Okay,” you laughed softly as you pulled your hand away, letting his shirt fall back over his abdomen. “I’m sorry I don’t notice every single tattoo on you, you have too many.” He chuckled, turning you around to unzip your from your dress. “But I know about it now and I absolutely love it.” Your dressed dropped to the floor and pooled around your feet.
“Mm…” Chris brushed his lips against your bare shoulder as his hands ran up and down your sides. “Does this mean you’re going to get a matching one?” You turned around in his arms and wrapped yours around his neck, smiling. “Or you know,” he kissed your neck, “at least something that pays me and our love some form tribute?”
“You know me very well, Chris,” you began as he pulled back to look into your eyes, “so you should know what my answer is.” He chuckled softly when you smiled, the both of you simultaneously answered, “hell no.”

While Sam and Dean were at another location on a hunt, you and Castiel were doing the dirty work. Which meant that you had to dig up a body and salt and burn it. You had only known Castiel for a few weeks. You still felt awkward around the angel, but to be fair, he felt the same way around you. He never had the chance to acquaint himself with you, since you spent most of your time hunting.
“Are you sure this is the right grave Castiel,” you asked, setting the shovel down on the grass next to the six foot deep hole. Castiel grabbed onto your arm, hoisting you out of the grave. “I don’t wanna get this one wrong.”
“I’m sure,” Castiel affirmed. “This is the man’s grave we are looking for.” Castiel did a double take towards the grave. The body you and him were supposed to salt and burn was gone, and the casket was open.
The Tower was quiet. Not a sound could be heard. You preferred the middle of the night to any other time. It was tranquil and relaxing.
During the day, the Tower was normally buzzing with action. It got harder to find time to yourself with each passing day. At night, it was the opposite. You felt like the nighttime was the time you could catch your breath and feel at peace.
Pairing: Kit Walker X Reader
Warning: Cursing, v v fluffy
a/n: Kit Walker imagine where Kit gets into a fight and the reader becomes afraid of him, resulting in a sad and crying Kit.
(I changed it up a bit from the gif just so it’d be cute lolol)
(I tried to make this as fluffy as possible but I’m pretty sure it sucks ass)
“Kit, just leave it please..” You whispered into your husband’s ear, stepping in between him and the incredibly built man that was supposedly looking you up.
You and Kit went for a night out at the bar, and things quite frankly didn’t go as planned.
“No, Y/N. Not until this asshole admits he was checking you out.“ He said, anger very evident in his tone. Kit was always the jealous type. He isn’t fond of the idea that other men can see you the way he does, or make you laugh like he can. He absolutely hates it. He would get upset at the smallest of things. He’d even get over protective if you shook another man’s hand! So when he looked over from a secluded table in the corner you were both sitting at, and saw that the man you were currently talking to looked down your low cut dress as you asked the bartender for two drinks, he became enraged.
The buff man took another step forward, gently grabbing your waist, “Who are you calling asshole? I’m pretty sure this lovely gal doesn’t mind.” He winked, and slid his hand down from your waist to your butt, squeezing it roughly. You scoffed in disgust and tried escaping the man’s grip, causing him to only hold you tighter.
And that’s when Kit snapped. He grabbed you and pulled you behind him as he threw a mean right hook at the man’s jaw, causing him to tumble to the ground. Kit got on top of him and started swinging his fists like a mad man. You watched with terrified eyes as two random men pulled Kit away from the bloodied and beaten man.
Kit spit on him as he got up, “Touch my girl again and you’ll be dead, man. I can promise you that.”
Kit shrugged off the two men and went to go reach for your hand, but you flinched away. You were absolutely terrified. You had never seen him so angry. You had never dealt with anger very well.
Kit’s eyes flashed a look of hurt and realization before grabbing you softly by your waist, ignoring the way you shrunk back as he did and led you out to the car.
The ride home was completely silent and filled with tension.
Once the car stopped, Kit immediately booked it into the house. You wore a confused expression as you entered the house minutes later.
You removed your shoes and got ready for bed, changing into one of Kit’s shirts. You entered the bedroom after brushing your teeth to see Kit grabbing a pillow and a blanket from the closet.
“What are you doing?” You asked him, retreating to your side of the bed.
“Sleeping on the couch..” He mumbled as if it were obvious.
You rolled your eyes, “Kit, don’t be ridiculous, get in bed.”
Kit didn’t argue as he slipped into bed, not uttering a single word as he drifted off to sleep. You turned out the lights and got into bed. You became confused as to why you didn’t feel Kit’s body warmth radiating off of him, until you realized that he was sleeping at the very edge of the bed, farthest from you.
You frowned at this and bent over to kiss his cheek goodnight; as you couldn’t go to sleep without showing him affection, wether he was awake or not. But as you bent over to kiss him, you heard a small sniffle. And that’s when you realized,
He was crying.
Your face fell as you scooted over to lamp and turned it on, before crawling over to Kit. You rubbed his arm lightly, a placed a gentle kiss on his bare shoulder.
“Kit, baby.. look at me.” You said softly.
Kit turned around to face you, his red, glossy eyes meeting yours. You sat the both of you up, before straddling Kit and bringing his head into the crook of your neck, causing him to wrap his strong, muscular arms around your body.
“I’m sorry baby, I shouldn’t have reacted like that.” He cried, his body shaking as you wrapped your arms around him.
“It’s alright darling.” You whispered, nuzzling your face into him.
“It’s just that when I saw him make you laugh like that, and look at you like that, I just..” He pulled away, his grip getting tighter on your waist. You watched as his adam’s apple bobbed and his eyes grew dark. “I couldn’t help it.”
But then, you saw the anger diminish from his eyes, and was soon replaced by hurt and sadness.
“But when you flinched away from me like that.. God, Y/N..” He squeezed his eyes shut as more tears fell, and rested his head against your shoulder, “It hurt me so much. So much more than you think. To have the person you love the most be afraid of you, is the worst feeling of them all. I thought you were gonna leave me because of it.. The look on your face just keeps replaying in my head and I hate myself for it.” He sobbed.
You felt your heart swell as your grip tightened on the crying boy. You felt horrible for making him feel like that, despite his actions.
“I’m sorry baby, I could never be afraid of you. You mean the world to me, darling, and I’d never leave you.” You said, kissing his temple.
You felt his body relax at your words. He then laid you both down so you were cuddling each other.
“I love you, Y/N. So much baby.” He said, putting his head farther into your neck.
A/N: Man, oh man. I just can’t stay away from writing, can I? Well, at least majority of my holiday stuff’s packed. This is another fic inspired by a conversation with the lovely @chrisevans-imagines We have some very weird, but oddly inspiring conversations. Don’t we, Ava? 😂
You pushed your way through the crowd as you searched the overly packed party for your best friend, Chris, who had drunkenly called you ten times in the last hour; it was 2:19AM. He could count himself incredibly lucky that you were finishing up some paperwork at the hospital otherwise you would’ve killed him for interrupting your much needed beauty sleep. You’d been pulling quite a few late nights over the past week as you were about to take leave and go on your holiday, so things hadn’t been particularly easy on you. But you knew before you went into med-school that being a doctor wasn’t going to be easy, what you didn’t know was how much harder it was being a doctor who was best friends with Chris Evans; a man who had the equivalent energy of his puppy, Dodger. If you weren’t so in-love with him, he wouldn’t get away with half the things he put you through. But you were, so here you were at the party.
“Hello beautiful.” An arm hooked around your waist and pulled you into him; you groaned and pushed the drunken stranger off you. “Geez, lighten up!” He called after you as you disappeared further into the room. If you didn’t find Chris in the next five minutes, you were outta there.
“Hell yeah I’ll get it in!” You heard Chris’ voice and you followed it, chuckling when you found him by the ping pong table. “Don’t you worry, I'mma get it into that cup.” He bounced the ball off the table and balanced it on the back of his hand as he swallowed another gulp of his beer. “Watch me nail this th-” He spotted you and his smile tenfold. “Y/N, you came!” He downed his drink and tossed both ball and red solo cup aside before making his way to you, waving off the protests that came from the other players. “Sorry guys, I’m done. My girl’s here,” he draped an arm around you and pulled you closer to him.
“I’m not your girl, Evans.” You reminded him, but made no effort to push him away from you like you had with the other guy; you were very glad that the dim lights hid your deeply flushed cheeks. “I’m just here to make sure you don’t drink and drive, the last thing I need is to be called back in because someone got into a car accident.”
“Awww,” he cooed, squeezing you tightly against him. “Was someone worried about little old me?” You rolled your eyes, but failed to hide your smile. “Don’t be, my best friend’s a very good doctor. She’s very pretty too, like- she could be on Grey’s Anatomy.” He slurred then grinned when he heard you chuckle. “And that’s you,” he booped your nose, “I’m talking about you.”
“I know, and I’m talking about me too when I say I’ve had a very long night and I’m ready to go home.” He nodded with furrowed brows, really trying to process your words. “C'mon,” you wrapped an arm around his waist and directed him towards the exit, “you’re crashing at my place tonight. I’m not leaving you here when someone could literally tap beer out of you.”
“Yes!” He cheered. “I love your apartment, it smells like Christmas because of all the candles you have.” You hummed in acknowledgement at his drunk thoughts. “Hey, you know what’s really funny?” He didn’t wait for a response. “When I read your texts, I read it in an Australian accent because you’re from Australia. I do the same with Chris Hemsworth’s,” he told you then laughed to himself. “G'day mate,” he mimicked a tradition Australia greeting then laughed again.
“I’ve never once texted that to you, nor have I said that to you,” you chuckled. “And since when do I have an Australian accent? I’ve been living in America since I was eighteen, and you know I watch too much American television and too many Hollywood films to have an Australian accent.” The two of you found your way out of the party and into the much emptier parking lot where you car waited patiently. “But then again,” you glanced at him, “you are very wasted, so I won’t hold that against you.”
“Chuck a shrimp on the barbie,” he continued mocking the Australia accent and laughed when you did. “You’re right,” he returned to his normal accent as he pulled away from you, “you don’t sound like that.” He moved in front of you and took your hands in his, smiling like a love sick idiot which made your heart flutter despite knowing it didn’t mean what you wanted it to. “You sound perfect because you are perfect and I love you.”
“I love you too,” you responded with a chuckle, ignoring that ache in your heart. This wasn’t the first time he’d told you he loved you while he was drunk, in fact- he said it all the time when he was sober too. But it wasn’t the confession you longed for, it was just another platonic expression of affection that you shoved aside with your true feelings. “Let’s get you in bed, shall we?” You tried to pull your hands away only to have him tightened his grip.
“No,” he shook his head, furrowing his eyebrows. “You don’t understand, Y/N. I love you,” he said again in a more serious tone that made you sigh. As much as you wanted to reciprocate that feeling and kiss him, you couldn’t take anything he said seriously when he was drunk. Even if you did believe that drunk minds spoke for a sober heart, it was Chris; he was your best friend and you couldn’t ruin that friendship over a drunken slur of the moment. “I want to be with you,” he told you and pulled his hands away to cup your face.
“Chris, no,” you turned away when he started to lean in, taking a small step back. “We’re not going to do this.” You frowned when he did. “You’re drunk, I don’t want-” you cut yourself off before you said more than you should. “Let’s just go home, okay?” You brushed past him and headed for you car, stopping when he called out.
“I’m sober enough to have this conversation!” He walked in front of you with a frown on his face. “I’ve been trying to tell you I love you since the moment I met you, Y/N. But you keep brushing me off, like you think I’m not worth your time.”
“Chris-” you couldn’t believe you made him feel that way.
“Am I not good enough for you?” He asked then asked again before you could get a word in, “are you holding out for another doctor?” You opened your mouth to speak only to get cut off again, “what is it, Y/N? Why won’t you give me a chance?!” He growled and you flinched. “I don’t understand,” he shook his head, his pretty blues glistened with tears. “I’m not an idiot- I can see the way you look at me, so why won’t you be with me?”
“Chris,” you sighed as you took his hand in yours. “I didn’t know you felt that way about me, I honestly thought that you were fine with us just being friends.” He didn’t say anything, he just squeezed your hand ever so gently. “That’s why I didn’t say anything- that’s why I brushed you off. I figured you were joking, it’s not because I don’t think you’re worth my time.”
“Do you realize how long I’ve been waiting for you?” He asked with a breathless chuckle. “From the moment we met- I’ve wanted to be with you. I was just so terrified I wasn’t good enough, that you wouldn’t want to be with an actor so- I took it slow, I started out by being your friend. But God,” he started to cry and your heart ached, “it hurt seeing you with other people. It sucked saying I love you when you didn’t know how much,” his hand tightened around yours. “I’ve wasted so much of my life not being your other half and I hate it, Y/N.”
“You are my other half, Chris,” you caressed his face with your other hand and brushed the tears rolling down his cheek. “I love you too. I’m so in-love with you that it’s ridiculous,” you told him and he smiled. “There is no one I’d rather see at the end of the day than you. You are my person, you are all I see when I look towards the future,” you assured him. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner, I’m sorry-” He pulled you into his arms and kissed you, cutting you off in the best possible way.
“Wow,” you let out a breathless laugh when he broke the kiss, pressing his forehead against yours.
“Yeah,” he chuckled softly, rubbing small circles into your sides, “I should’ve done that years ago.”
(requested by anon) Kai Parker x Reader word count : 4 461 summary : Reader is Elena’s little sister and the Salvatore’s are over protective of her. Kai ends up staying at the Salvatore’s over night and sneaks into her room. *gif by jake-riley keep reading after the cut😉 ____________________
Y/N’s life had gotten complicated the past few years. When her older sister Elena had met Stefan , Y/N had still been in her third year of high school. Both Stefan and Damon had taken a liking to her and over time had become like family to her - like she had two older brothers. After Elena had burned down their house , Y/N had moved in with the Salvatores. Problem was they were super over protective of her. If anyone even dared to get too close to her , things would get ugly for that person. Once a classmate , her friend Jake , had come over so they can work on a project and he had played a prank on her - sneaking up from behind to scare her - and she had screamed. Damon , who had been at the kitchen in that moment making her her favourite snack , rushed to the living room and nearly choked her friend before even bothering to listen to what had happened. Stefan was the same - almost , he listened first before trying to hurt anyone. Y/N loved them and appreciated having two guarding angels at all times but sometimes things were getting a little out of control. Their over protectiveness was starting to suffocate her. Whenever a boy showed up to take her on a date , one of them would tag along and even though the Salvatore wouldn’t sit with them , it didn’t matter much because they could still hear and see everything. Elena was the only one who could get them to back off a little but that never lasted too long.

Y/N walked downstairs heading into the kitchen, her ponytail and white polca dot ribbon flapping behind her. She was wearing a black tshirt with print (the logo of her favourite band) and gray skinny jeans along with her favourite ankle high black converses.
“Hey sis.” she smiled at Elena. “And big brother.” she winked at Damon.
Her eyes drifted towards the cupcakes on the kitchen counter and just as she was about to grab one , her eyes fell on a stranger sitting on the kitchen table. He had blue eyes ,brown hair , perfect angel like features and was holding a cupcake , his fingers covered with frosting. The boy glanced at her , then at Elena and Damon.
“You have a little sister?” asked the boy. “Wait. Who’s sister is she? And …where have you kept her hidden until now?”
Y/N took one of the cupcakes , taking a bite which resulted in cupcake frosting getting on her nose. Elena wiped it away with her thumb , giving her little sister a warning look. Damon glanced between Kai and Y/N , who obviously were curious about each other by the way they were starring at one another. Kai had gotten up , shortening the distance between him and Y/N. He was smiling widely , outstretching his hand for her to shake as a hello.
“Hi. I’m Kai …and you are ?”
“Littlest Gilbert.” she laughed. “I’m Y/N , Elena’s little sister, well cousin.”
“A human.” muttered Kai to himself. “Didn’t think those existed in Mystic Falls with all the supernatural population. I see you like cupcakes as much as me. Hey maybe we can go out sometime - there is this bakery near the town square -”
“OKAY , slow down big brother.” said Damon pulling Kai away from Y/N. “You are not allowed anywhere near her. Got it? She is off limits.”
“Why not ?” wondered Y/N.
“Because he is the one who shot an arrow through Bonnie’s stomach and he is the reason she is all alone in the Prison World right now.” said Elena pushing her sister out of the kitchen door. Y/N got free and ran back towards Kai and the cupcakes.
Elena’s little sister looked at Kai , head to toe , curiousity burning in her eyes.
“He doesn’t seem dangerous.” she said. “He seems .. cute and cuddly.”
Kai laughed under his breath. “I think she likes me.”
“No , no , no.” said Damon. “No one here likes any body. Y/N , go to your room before things get ugly for mr. charming right here.”
Elena grabbed Y/N and started pushing her towards the door again.
“Fine, fine. I’m going. See you around Kai.”
“Yeah. See you around.” he replied with a wistful look in his eyes.
Damon was starring at him , his arms folded in his chest.
“If you touch her , you lose your head or heart. Or both.” threatened Damon.
“Damon !” exclaimed Elena. “Don’t threaten him. He said he’d help us get Bonnie back. That gives him a pass. At least this time…”
Elena kissed Damon on the cheek while Kai was glancing between them and the door , hoping that maybe Y/N would pop her head through there.
“You two together is still totally revolting to me.” sighed Kai. “Alright , where is that stupid Ascendant ?”

A FEW MONTHS LATER
Y/N walked into the Salvatore’s , her phone in her hands as she kept texting her friends. Elena had convinced Stefan and Damon not to hover over her that day , so she can spend it with her friends before their graduation in a few days. The Salvatores’ overprotective attitude really was getting out of control lately.
Y/N took a few steps into the living room and left her bag on the sofa hearing voices coming from the library. Whoever had come for a visit didn’t appear to be wanted. For a moment she hessitated , but in the end curiousity won over and she headed straight towards the loud voices ignoring the fact Stefan and Damon would be angry as hell if she put herself in any kind of danger.
“I just need a place to crash.”
“One night.” insisted Kai. “Don’t think your house was my first choice. Look I know we don’t get along , specially after that wedding fiasco , for which I am very sorry by the way. What Bonnie did hurt me and I snapped. It’s not like you two haven’t screwed up majorly at some point in your life.”
Stefan folded his hands , nodding and rolling his eyes listening to Kai. Last thing he and his brother wanted was Kai spending the night over , specially with Y/N being in the house. Kai had been dangerous before he turned into a heretic and now who knew what he’d do if he got upset. None of them were willing to risk it.
“I am trying to be better.” added Kai. “Please ? See how nice I am ? I even said ‘please’.”
“You are not not staying.” argued Damon.
Y/N made her way down the hall as quietly as possible. Not that it would do her any good considering the Salvatore’s were vampires and could hear her coming from a mile away. Quite literally. Whoever it was in there with them , might not make it out alive unless she intervined.
“It’s just for one night.” said a very familiar voice that made Y/N stop right at the door. “Please ? I promise to behave. Also need I remind you that you owe me for not going through with that crazy idea your psychopath of a mother had about linking Elena to Bonnie for all eternity ?”
“Because you did that out of the goodness of your heart ?” asked Stefan.
“Not important why I did it.” said Kai. “The important thing is that I did and now you owe me.”
“Fine.” groaned Damon. “But you are not allowed anywhere near her. Got it ?”
“Anywhere near who?” said Y/N walking in. Damon and Stefan groaned. Kai looked happier than ever she had walked in in that moment. He ran his fingers through his hair and took a small step towards her , stopping a second later realising if he took another someone might snap his neck. Kai smiled widely at her and she smiled back at him , taking a step towards the Salvatores. “Are you two going to keep it up with the over protective stuff? I love you but seriously - I am graduating high school , the ceremony is in two days. Are you planing on going to Whitmore with me too ?”
“No.” said Stefan. “We are just -”
“Being the most loving , carrying yet extremely annoying not-blood-related older brothers ?” interrupted Kai making both Salvatoress turn towards him. He could see Y/N was trying hard not to start laughing. “Sorry. I couldn’t help it. Can I at least say HI to her or is this forbidden too ?”
Damon poured himself a drink and drank most of it while Stefan motioned for Kai that it’s OK if he wants to say HI. In a flash Kai hugged Y/N under the absolutely shocked facess of the Salvatore brothers.
Imagine Chris admitting he’s still in-love with you.
A/N: Lol, what’s a hiatus? This is based on Ed Sheeran’s ‘Happier’ in his new album ‘Divide’. First of all, I’m in-love with that album. If you haven’t heard it, go listen to it right now. Actually, listen to the song while you’re reading this. I promise that it’ll trigger all the feels in the world. I know I usually write happy stuff, but this song is too good not to write to so- here’s a little bit of angst for y'all. (Relax, it ends sweet.) Grab some tissues. X
“Why are you doing this to yourself, man?”
“I just have to see her, Scott,” Chris mumbled into the phone; his brother sighed on the other end. “This month has been terrible and-” he cut himself off with a shake of his head. “I just have to see her,” he repeated. “She’s the one person I want to see right now.”
“And she’s the one person that doesn’t want to see you right now, Chris,” he painfully reminded Chris; this time is was Chris’ turn to sigh. “You broke her heart, the least you can do is let her move on in peace. Don’t go to that bar, turn around and go home. You’re not going to feel better seeing her happy with someone else, just go home.”
There was a short moment of silence where Chris stopped and thought about what Scott was telling him. He knew himself and he knew was going to the bar anyway, but he thought about it. “Do you think I’m ever going to happy again?” He heard himself ask; he was doubtful without you in his life, but he could use a lie.
“Yes,” Scott answered. “Now go home, Chris.”
Chris hung up and continued down 29th and Park, ignoring both Scott’s advice and the better part of him. He made his way towards Carlson’s Bar where he knew you’d be supporting your best friend’s band, just like any other typical Friday night. His heart ached when he remembered that just a month ago, he was the one you took with you to Spencer’s show and now it was Nick; a co-worker that’d wasted no time to claim the opportunity of a lifetime that Chris so carelessly tossed aside. It was his fault, Chris knew that. He’d done quite a bit to hurt you in the three years you were together, he had thought he’d a lifetime to make it up to you; he didn’t. As much as you loved him, you couldn’t spend your entire life waiting on him to commit.
Chris turned the corner and stopped dead in his tracks; his blue eyes well with tears when he saw you in another’s arms. He was expecting it, but nothing could have braced his heart for what he laid eyes on. You were smiling, brighter than he’d seen in a while. Nick tightened his grip on you, whispering sweet nothings in your ear to make you laugh because there was no sound better than your laughter. Chris remembered when he used to do that, he used to be able to make you happy. He didn’t know when or why he stopped, he just knew it was the biggest mistake of his life. If he could go back, he would change everything so you’d be with him looking as happy- if not, happier than you were right now with Nick.
“Stop,” you laughed, squirming away from Nick’s clean shaven nuzzles. You tried not to let your smile falter when your heart reminded you of how Chris’ beard felt against your skin when he playfully nuzzled you. “Let’s go inside, it’s freezing out here.”
“Okay,” Nick smiled and pulled away from you to take your gloved hand.
You smiled as Nick held the door open for you. He was perfect, but it didn’t stop your mind from thinking of your Friday nights with Chris. It was never that simple with him, he always found a way to postpone joining the crowd because he preferred one on one time with you. He’d purposely walk slower or pretended he left something in his car so you’d have to turn back, only to find out that what he left was a kiss. As you walked inside, you found yourself remembering the way Chris would counter your “let’s go inside, it’s freezing out here” with a tighter hug that would “keep you warm, sweetheart.”
The more you thought about Chris, the worst you felt about being with Nick. It’d only been a month since you broke things off with him, how could be with someone else already? You spent three years with the man, the least you could’ve done was wait a little longer before you started to move on. Though it wasn’t likely that you were ever going to move on with anyone; Chris had ruined you for other men. If he had just shut up and committed, instead of making excuses and stalling- you’d be with him right now. You liked Nick, but your feelings for him were never going to compare with what you felt- still felt, despite how broken he left you- for Chris. He was the one for you, just as you were for him; the sad thing was he didn’t realize it until you walked out the door.
“I’m going to go grab a drink,” Nick told you and you nodded. “Do you want anything?” You shook your head; the last thing you needed was alcohol in your system. “Okay, I’ll be right back.” He gently squeezed your arm then disappeared into the crowd.
You scanned the room for familiar faces; it was the same group every Friday night. Spencer’s and yours mutual friends, as well as his other group of friends and his co-workers. It was always a good night, but it wasn’t until the first Friday night without Chris that you realized it was only always a good night because of him. You felt your vision blur as your heart wrenched in your chest; you really needed to get out of there.
The cold outside felt more inviting than the warm, slightly easing the emotional grief you’d been carrying on your shoulders since you broke up with Chris. The past month had been incredibly difficult for the both of you. The experience was about the same, neither of you liked living by yourself after living with each other for the past two years. It felt like a punch to your gut when you’d wake up without him by your side; the apartment you were now living in felt like it was constantly trying to suffocate you with isolation and loneliness. Every day, you’d wake up wondering if leaving him was the right thing to do. A month had passed and you still didn’t know if you were happier now, or happier with him.
“Y/N,” you heard Chris’ voice and you flinched. You shook your head, not wanting to turn around because there was no- “Y/N,” his hand wrapped around your wrist and he turned you around; you swallowed the urge to start crying.
“What are you doing here?” You asked, yanking your wrist out of his grip. You knew you’d break if he continued to touch you, you’d just melt right back into his arms despite everything he’d put you through. “We said clean break,” you reminded him.
“No.” He shook his head, his pretty blues glistened under the flickering street lights. “You said clean break, I told you I didn’t want to break up.” You turned away from him, taking slow, deep breaths; he didn’t need to see you cry.
“You didn’t want to commit either,” you bit as you turned back to him. “We were together for three years, Chris. We lived together for two. But still, whenever you were asked- you couldn’t admit you were in a relationship. You went out and partied like a bachelor, traveling the world like you had no one waiting on you at home.”
“Y/N, it was part-”
“It’s part of your job,” you cut him off. “Yeah, I know. That was always the excuse, wasn’t it?” Tears rolled down your cheeks and you quickly wiped them away. “I didn’t know being an actor meant you couldn’t be a boyfriend- that you couldn’t be a husband. But I do now, so- thank you, I’ll know better next time than to fall in-love with an actor.”
“I was just trying to protect you-”
“From what?” You scoffed. “From the media, from your fans? Newsflash, Chris- I knew what I was getting into when Captain freakin’ America asked me out. I didn’t need protection, I needed you to be proud to be in a relationship. I stood by you through everything; your work schedule, the distance, the tabloids and the rumors because- I loved and trusted you. But I guess all that wasn’t enough to be able to be Chris Evans’ girlfriend. You say you were protecting me, but you were just protecting yourself from commitment.”
“I know,” he nodded, agreeing with you for the first time. “I was stupid,” he said, taking your hands in his. “I wasn’t ready to settle down. I thought if I kept it from the media then- it wouldn’t be real and if we ever broke up- I wouldn’t have to deal with it. I thought if I could just get through my Marvel contract then- I don’t know, Y/N! I don’t know what I was thinking, I just-” He started to cry, making you cry. “I made a mistake, I was an idiot who didn’t know any better. But I do now, I am so in-love with you and I can’t- I can’t do this without you.”
“Am I meant to just forgive you?” You didn’t pull your hands away because you’d missed his touch. “You broke my heart, Chris,” you told him and he nodded in acknowledgment. “Do you know how much it sucked hearing people talk about how I was in a relationship with a man who couldn’t even admit he was taken? Do you know how much it hurt to see you with a fan who thinks it’s okay to get touchy because you’re apparently single? Do you realize how many of my friends’ weddings we’ve attended in our three years together? I can’t keep waiting for you to commit, Chris. I don’t want to,” you shook your head.
“I know, I’m sorry- I’m so sorry, Y/N. I just- I know how much I’ve hurt you, but I also know that no one is going to love you as much as I do. I made a mistake, that’s all- and I’m going to spend the rest of my life making it up to you. Just-” he pulled you into a tight hug, burying his face into the crook of your neck. “Please,” he begged, crying. “Please let me.”
“I’m with Nick,” you cried softly, fighting the urge to just hug him back. It broke your heart to see him like this, and God- you just wanted to kiss his sorrows away. “I’m with someone else, Chris.” You repeated and he started crying harder, clutching onto you like you were his oxygen. “I can’t-” you gently pushed Chris away, “it’s not fair on him.”
“I know,” he whispered, wiping his tears away with the back of his hand. “And it’s not fair on you either, you deserve better than me.” You tried not to cry at that. “Are you happier with him?” He asked and cupped your face in his hands, gently brushing your tears away.
“Yes,” you lied with a nod.
“Okay,” he managed a smile. “Just know that- If he breaks your heart, I’m going to be waiting right here for you.” You nodded, crying softly as Chris pressed a kiss against your forehead. “I’ll see you, Y/N.” He said as he reluctantly pulled his hands away.
You closed your eyes as he walked off into the night because you knew you’d run after him if you watched him leave. You’d rather be with Chris, everyone- including Nick, who had watched the whole thing go down from the inside- knew that. So why didn’t you go with him? Why were you so stubborn? Why didn’t Chris stay and fight for you? Nick didn’t get it, none of your friends watching did. Then, it was as though a jolt of lightning went off in both yours and Chris’ brains. You opened your eyes and started towards his direction, just as he turned around and ran back towards you. You met halfway and shared an embrace that ended in a kiss so passionate and deep that on lookers blushed.
“I’m happier with you,” you whispered when Chris broke the kiss, pressing his forehead against yours.
“And I’m only happy with you,” he responded then kissed you again, smiling. “Come with me to the premiere of Gifted,” he told you. “We’ll walk the carpet together, we’ll announce our engagement.” You felt your eyes narrow at that, but you couldn’t wipe the smile off your face; it was finally happening. “Just let me show you off to the world, let me tell everyone I’m taken.”
“But we’re not engaged,” you chuckled softly.
“Not yet,” he smiled. “The ring’s at home so I can’t-”
“Yes,” you nodded and his smile widened. “Yes, I’ll marry you.” You told him and he hugged you tightly, breathing you in. The engagement was long overdue, he wished he’d done it earlier so he didn’t cause you as much grief as he did but- he was happy things ended the way it did.
“And..I’m not sorry”
Feels like she’s assuring him what she said on the rocks their first night was said only in fear not in fact. The look Ben gives her makes me feel like he’d been thinking of it a lot, and his new found responsibility for her was making him ask if she really was sorry to have left everything. And her not being sorry seems to lift a burden off him that he couldn’t shake till then. He’s so sensitive to her and she picks up on that. Wade and Lashana did so much with just this little part. I love them!
It was hot it the gymnasium, like a lobster being boiled hot, but you needed to be there to support Derek.
It was his last basketball game of the season and you had attended all games prior to this one, even if he didn’t know it. He did. You just didn’t know it. He watched you between halves and dedicated every basket to you. It was an endless cycle which your mutual friends were sick of.
“Will you quit staring at him? Its like you think he’ll disappear into a hole in the ground if you look away” Stiles loudly said to you, drawing the attention of others.
“Shut up Stiles, he might hear you!” You quickly replied
Before you and Stiles could go any further Scott piped in, “He isn’t wrong though Y/n, we’ve been here nearly an hour and you haven’t looked away from him once!”
“Well im sorry, I can’t help that this intelligent, beautiful, stunning, athletic man is running around in shorts which may I add make his butt look amaz- is it me or did it just get even hotter in here?” You explained whilst tying your hair up into a simple yet cute ponytail.
Derek just happened to glance at you at that very moment, and boy was he glad he did.
Standing there mesmerised by your movements, he didn’t realise he was holding the game up.
Whispering to you, Stiles said, “I think your god is staring at you”
“What? No he isn’t, he doesn’t even know i exist!” You exclaimed.
“Just look over there!” Scott said pointing towards a figure in the middle of the court.
At that moment Derek’s eyes connected with yours and he nervously smiled at you. You returned his smile and waved. What you and Derek didn’t know was that, that was the start of a lovely friendship which later turns into the most beautiful relationship.
Warnings: Lucifer being a bully >:( and slight fluff
A/N: I have to admit, this one was hard to write. I’m not a bully and I don’t like to be rude at all, so forgive me if this lacks in the bullying department. Feedback is welcomed and appreciated! I love you all so much! *ALSO DON’T BE A BULLY. I WILL SEND LUCIFER HIMSELF AFTER YOU* This was also requested by an anon!
When you first found out that you were Lucifer’s soul mate, you were excited to say the least. Those feelings quickly faded once you started to hang around Lucifer more often. He was rude towards you since the day he met you. He said hurtful things and never apologized once for them. Sam and Dean were starting to get fed up with how Lucifer treated you. They always made sure you were okay after a day of being with Lucifer.
Lately Lucifer had been getting worse about bullying you, but you were still willing to trying and be with Lucifer. It wasn’t like you could leave him. You loved him and you were sure he loved you. There were still some things about being soul mates you weren’t sure of.
The fallen archangel leaned his back against the table, watching you read a book about witchcraft. “That’s the wrong book [Y/N],” Lucifer noted, aggravation evident in his voice. “Why can’t you do anything right? How are you supposed to help Sam and Dean when you can’t even research the right book?”
I lowkey wish Keith would’ve looked up to see Lance’s face, bc I have no doubt that time would have slowed down for him and all he could see was Lance and the way the joy and excitement lights up in his eyes.
And when Lance falls off, it would only make his heart beat a little faster and make him giggle because he’s such a dummy and he kind of likes the said dummy.
And in that exact moment he would’ve just realized that he just fell in love with that dummy.
She sat in front of him, holding her fingers and staring down at them with furrowed brows as if they might give her the words she needed to say.
He knew she saw the gashes this morning on his shoulder, on his side. Not the kind of thing you acquire when working as a lawyer. He should have been more careful.
She sat in the chair opposite his desk as if she were a client. As if she were trying to distance herself from him. The thought made Matt start to panic, he swallowed and shifted his feet. She wasn’t saying anything. All Matt wanted was for her to talk. He didn’t know what he wanted or needed her to say, but just something would be better than the suffocating silence they currently sat in. Anything to make him feel like he wasn’t going watch her walk out the door and never come back.
Anything to make him feel like she didn’t… hate him. For what he hid from her. For what he does. For who he is.
“I-” you paused. It was one word but it didn’t feel right. This whole situation didn’t feel right. You glanced up at Matt, you knew he was anxious. You could hear his shoes shifting, his throat bobbed as he tried to calm himself. His hands sat in his lap, one thumb brushing quickly over the other in nervous rhythm. You hadn’t told him why you wanted to talk with him alone in his office, but you guessed from the tension in his face that he had a pretty good idea.
Matt was getting dressed for work when you saw the gash on his shoulder. He faced away from you as he took off a black short sleeved tee. Obviously your eyes drifted up from your book to watch the lean muscles of his back ripple with movement. He winced as he turned to slip on a sky blue shirt, dropping his shoulder slightly put the wound in clear view, another one creeping around the side of his torso. They looked to be a week old at most. Your heart sped up, your eyes widened. Your mind was bombarded with a stream of questions. How did he even get that? Who did this to him? How was he even in a position to- what was he doing- where was he- How could he- what was he thinking he-
And then it dawned on you.
You’d seen the newspapers, the tv spots, you remember feeling a sense of familiarity staring at you in the face as you watched the footage.
You had been following the articles and even talking with Matt over breakfast about how the impact of having a vigilante in Hell’s Kitchen would have a serious effect on the crime rate, hopefully a good effect. Matt never had much to say. More than once he had changed the subject to something more lighthearted. You just let it go, thinking that it probably didn’t sit right with him that someone was taking the law and justice into their own hands…
The roughness of his hands… the strength in them. The nights where you would wake up reaching for him only to see the other side of the bed empty and cold. The little bruises and cuts where he ‘walked into things’.
It was a big jump to make. Massive in fact. You backtracked for a second, you needed proof before you could even consider listening to your minds paranoid ramblings. But that didn’t stop your breathing from picking up. That didn’t stop the ‘what ifs’ from plaguing your thoughts. They piled up on top of each other so fast that you felt like you might not be able to take another breath.
Matt’s head turned as he buttoned up his shirt.
“Are you okay? You seem awfully quiet this morning.”
“Fine!” you chirped. A little too quick to be genuine. Too quick for Matt to ignore. Matt paused in reaching for his tie.
“Absolutely. Just excited to start the day!” You flung the sheets off of you exposing your bare legs. Wearing only a large grey tee you jumped out of bed and swung around to throw your arms over his shoulders, narrowly avoiding the wound.
Running your fingers through the tiny hairs at the nape of his neck, he slid his hands up under your tee, lifting it high enough for you to feel a light breeze on your backside. He wrapped his hands around either side of your waist and began running his thumbs up and down the small of your back. “I’m excited for every day that I get to start with you.”
Whatever tension there was in Matt’s frame dissipated. He smiled wide, leaning his head slightly to the side. “You’re full of cheese.”
You shrugged. “What can I say? It’s a talent. Maybe I should start classes. Could save up some money and get myself a plaque. ‘Y/N, Master of Cheesery’”
Matt snorted and slid his arms all the way around you, pulling you as close as he could. You had to rise to your tiptoes to fold your arms behind his neck, leaning your cheek against his. Your bodies molded together and he hummed once in content as he swayed the two of you from side to side. Dancing to no music. “I wish I didn’t have to go in today. Foggy needs me to go over this case one more time before tomorrow. I can think of a few things we could do right here that would be much more fun.” He sighed out his nose. You held on a little tighter, you didn’t know if you wanted to uncork this bottle. But you knew that you needed to.
“I’m gonna drop by at lunchtime.”
Matt nodded and turned to kiss your cheek twice. He pulled away reluctantly and let your arms drop to your side. Picking up his jacket from the bed he made his way through the living room and towards the front door. You trailed behind him, gripping your fingers tight behind you. Matt opened the door and turned around to you leaning against the doorframe. “We can talk about some stuff.” he raised his eyebrows.
“You focus on your case for now. I don’t want to distract you. We’ll talk when I come in.” You leaned in and pressed a kiss to his lips. He left with a small frown on his face.
It had taken a lot of digging. A lot of thinking like someone who wanted to desperately hide something. Finally you found your proof, tucked away in his father’s box. The mask that he wore to his nightly endeavours. The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen’s mask.
After giving yourself some time to cry, to scream, to punish yourself for not seeing it sooner, you got up, got dressed, put the red mask in your bag and left the apartment to meet Matt. To have a conversation you weren’t sure you were prepared for.
And here you are. Sitting in his office trying to find the right words to begin with. None of them seemed to suffice. This was Matt, why couldn’t you just talk to him?
You stood up suddenly and turned towards the door to close the blackout blind that hung from it. Then you walked behind Matt to close the blinds on the windows. It left the room dark so you switched on his desk lamp and instead of sitting down on the chair you perched on his desk next to where he sat so you were facing the wall to his back. Instead of looking at him, you stared unseeingly at the strings on the blinds.
You took a deep breath. You reached into your bag and held the mask just behind him.
“Matt, I know about your night job.” You said firmly and put the mask on the desk in front of him. He reached out and ran his fingertips over one of the pointed tips for a mere second before pulling his hands back to his lap.
He remained silent.
“I’m not mad. I just- I’m.. worried.” your breath hitched, “I’m scared, Matt.” your bottom lip trembled making you reach up with both hands to cover your face.
Matt’s hands stopped twitching and instead gripped tight, his shoulders tensed and his face screamed how much he didn’t want to have this discussion.
“You don’t need to be scared of me.” He muttered in a low but steady voice. Dropping your hands and swinging your head round to him, you scooched up along his desk to sit in front of him, your legs hanging down either side of his. You brought your hands to his cheeks. Cradling the hurt you saw on his face. The disappointment, not at you but in himself. You could feel the muscles in his jaw tense.
“Matty-” your voice caught, and Matt almost flinched at the noise. Clearing your throat you tried again. “Matty, I’m not scared of you. I’m scared for you.” Matt’s eyebrows twitched together, so you slid your hand down to just above his shoulder, where you both knew the tightly stitched wound sat. “This, is a big deal. Did you think I would be okay with you coming home with giant cuts on your body? God forbid I wake up in the morning to see you bleeding out on the couch-” you bit your lip and looked away, trying to pull yourself together. You needed to be a little bit stronger, just enough to deal with this.
Matt tentatively put his hand on your knee.
“Y/N, I’ve trained for this. I was trained from a young age to fight like this and it’s something I’ve known how to do for a long time. I’m not just some billionaire thinking he can make a suit, fight crime and take on the world all in the same day. I’m going to do better. I’m making this city a safe place. My city. Ours.” He took your hands in both of his and rested them on your knees.
He licked his lips and shifted in his chair, you could see he wanted you to believe him, to trust him, to.. accept him. “I’m sorry I kept this from you. Part of me is saying I should let you go to protect you from this, from the people who might want to use you against me if they found out what you mean to me. I couldn’t-” he swallowed, “I won’t let that happen. I can’t lose you. You’re the reason I can do this and still smile everyday, not hate myself for keeping this a secret from almost everyone I know. I love you.” he paused, gripping your hands slightly tighter for a second before leaning back in his chair a little. “But I understand if you can’t cope with this. You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to, you can walk out that door and I won’t stop you.”
You were quiet. You just looked at his face and all it’s features as your hands warmed between his. You could see how much he didn’t want you to leave, but you knew that he would let you go if you wanted to. You knew he was genuinely sorry, but he had reason to keep it all from you. He was trying to do the right thing. Not just for him or you but for the whole city.
Make a decision. A little voice in the back of your mind prompted you. And you did.
You slid off the desk and into his lap, he pulled your joined hands up to give you room, but didn’t let go. Not quite ready to release you just yet. His face remained set. You smiled at him, just a small slightly wobbly curve of your lips.
“I love you too, Matt. But-” you could see his brows wobble a touch. You squeezed his hands before releasing them then took off his glasses and put them behind you on the desk. You wanted to see his eyes. You slid your hands back over his, threading your fingers together.
“I’m not leaving you.” You had to reassure him first. His shoulders dropped the heavy weight on them and he leaned his forehead against yours. His breath hitched slightly as he tried not to cry in relief. You almost burst into tears at the sound, instead a few dripped down your cheeks and hit your joined hands.
“You need to tell me everything. And I mean every little minute detail that occurs, I don’t want the highlights.” He nodded lightly. “and you’re gonna teach me how to fight.” His head shot up. “You’re not coming with me. It’s too dangerous.”
You snorted. “of course not, but if you’re worried about me being a target then I need to learn how to defend myself. I need to show these guys that my badass boyfriend isn’t the only one who can handle himself. The Master of Cheesery can pack a punch too.” You held up an arm to flex your muscles and pulled a strained face.
Matt grinned as he brushed away the fallen tears and pinched your flexing ‘muscles’, “That means you’re gonna have to actually get out of bed in the morning and you know, exercise.”
Your pursed your lips and rolled your eyes. “The things I do for you, Matt.”
He swallowed. “I know. Thank you.” He leaned in to kiss you, but you pulled back and put a finger on his lips. “Uh-uh. You’ve got some serious ass-kissing to do Matt-Matt.”
“What?” came his muffled reply, his lips squished behind your finger.
“You’ve been keeping something from me for God knows how long. You’re gonna have to make it up to me, your loyal and forgiving girlfriend. Starting with dinner and later listening to Stephen Fry read Sherlock Holmes on audiobook. With blankets. And malteasers. And kitkats.” Matt kissed your finger twice in quick succession.
“Anything.” He said sincerely. He would do anything for you. You smiled as you replaced your finger with your lips, brushing them over his in a soft kiss.
A/N: Remember when I told you I’d do an imagine based off of a previous imagine (IMAGINE #52) I did? You can read that first if you’d like, but I’d be concentrating on only one part from there.
“How he shows you he loves you: It was the gesture you found adorable because it didn’t only mean that he loves you but it also meant something else for him. When you’d go out grocery shopping and would already be checking out the items you’ve bought at the check-out counter, Isaac would wrap his arms around your waist and rest his head on either your shoulders or on top of your head.”
I actually forgot about this until I stumbled upon Jess and Gabriel’s vlog… you can watch it here >> X << (it’s at 10:00 mehehe) so you can say that it was also inspired by the video LOL! And like always, if any errors occur, my apologies :)
“Okay, I’ll be right back.” Isaac placed a kiss on your cheek before going ahead and looking for the specific cream you used to make your famous carbonara that Isaac and the pack seemed to love, it would always be gone the minute you’d place it on the table.
As you looked through the aisle that contained the canned mushrooms, you pushed your cart towards the middle in search of the usual can of mushrooms your mother bought when she taught you the recipe.
While you moved the grocery cart further in search for the brand, you felt as though someone was following you. You didn’t mind it though since you thought that you were only imagining things, and since the grocery was packed with people doing some last-minute buying for their meals for Thanksgiving, your mind could just be playing tricks on you that maybe the person was just doing the same thing and looking for the same brand of mushrooms.
Pushing the cart some more, you finally stopped to reach for the brand you were looking for on the shelf. Once you were checking to see if it was the right one, a figure suddenly approached you making you jerk in surprise and drop the can.
Shortly after the can of mushroom slipped through your fingers, you heard an ow coming from the person in front of you.
“Oh my, I am so sorry.” You apologized almost frantically, trying to reach for the can that unfortunately dropped on the person’s foot.
“No, no.” The man said, stopping you from reaching the can. “It’s fine, here, let me.”
“Thank you,” you replied, taking the product from him and putting it in the cart. “Sorry about your foot, by the way.”
“Yeah, no big deal.” He just scoffed, acting like it didn’t bother him. “Just glad it was a pretty one who dropped it.”
At this, you suddenly felt taken back at his words.
“Yeah, sorry.” He suddenly apologized with a chuckle, “I’m not really good at this but I just had to say hi-”
“Oh,” It was the only thing you could think of at the moment, not really sure how to respond to the sudden forwardness this guy was emitting. “Well, hi to you too.”
“- And can I just say how pretty you are?” He smiled before reaching out his hand and introducing himself. “I’m Daniel, by the way.”
“Hi, Daniel.” You reached your hand and shook his.
As he tried to attempt to make a conversation by asking you what were you doing here (boy, I’m grocery shopping, what does it look like I’m doing?), your fingers started to fidget with the ring on your finger as you nodded with a smile and replied to some of the questions he asked. At this point, you were trying to muster up the courage of not being rude and just telling him straight out.
“So, could I maybe ask you-” At that, you cut him off from continuing his question any further.
“I’m… actually married.” You stated. Hearing the words, the guy looked a bit shocked as his eyebrows furrowed saying, “wait, what?”
“Yeah,” The guy looked down on your finger for confirmation. And when he saw the golden band and the large sparkling rock on your finger, all he could manage was an, “Oh.”
“But, like, you’re really young.” The guy looked at you again.
“Yeah, I’m Y/A.” You replied.
“Wow, that’s fast,” All you could do was just smile.
It wasn’t too long before he bid goodbye saying that it was nice talking to you, embarrassment could be seen in his face, and it didn’t take long for Isaac to come back with an arm full of the creams you needed for the pasta.
“That’s a lot,” you could only giggle when he had the big smile on his face showing that he was proud that he didn’t get lost in the groceries again, but he shortly noticed something was up – that something happened while he was away for a good 3 minutes.
“What happened?” He asked worriedly, almost dropping the packs of cream on the floor as his shoulders seemed to sag.
“There was a guy-” you whispered.
“There was a guy?!”
“Shh!” At the volume Isaac asked with, you tried to hush him because you didn’t know if the person was still in the hearing distance. “Not here.”
“A guy?!” he shouted in a whisper. “What happened? What guy? Who’s the guy? Where is this guy?”
He looked around the aisle as his ears turned a pink shade, a shade you knew all too well when he got mad or annoyed at something or someone.
“What happened, Y/N?” He asked repeatedly.
“Later, Isaac.” You replied in a low voice while you pushed the cart farther from the aisle you were at. “I just want to leave.”
At those words, your husband’s eyes widened and the pink shade that colored his ears turned darker. “That bad?”
Isaac looked behind the both of you, eyes still looking for any particular guy.
“Isaac, let’s just go.” You hooked your arm with his trying to pull him away as you pushed the cart in front of you to the checkout.
While you were placing the products you bought, you suddenly caught a glimpse of Daniel a few check-out counters behind you. Isaac noticed this and turned to see where you were looking at and almost the exact time he spotted the guy you were talking about, he saw Daniel was looking at you.
You waited and watched as the prices showed up on the screen while the lady manning the counter checked the product’s and bagged them in the brown paper bags, her small talks making you smile.
As you waited for the other products to be bagged, you felt strong arms wrap around your waist and a chin on top of your head. Isaac’s arms pulled you against him as you looked up and saw that he was looking at you with a smile, the giggle you were trying to hold down was showing as your lips pursed - you already felt the vibe that he already knew where the guy was and this attempt was to show that you were already with someone else – that you were already married to someone, for crying out loud.
this is john. actually, it is john, jade, and dave sprite. we all contributed to the contents of this bucket! we have to make it quick because apparently you’re about to go on a long journey, just like us. i’m sorry we can’t be there for the big meetup. karkat, i deeply regret that i will not be present for these highly touted “TROLL/HUMAN SLOPPY MAKEOUTS”, ha ha. maybe in three years, assuming you all aren’t totally smooched out by then!!! (i am just kidding around, btw.)
Karkat knows John can be a little dense, but this has still got to make him wonder. Is John really thick enough to say all this innocently, is he trying to mess with Karkat, or is he actually attempting to flirt in some capacity?
it was a fun adventure we had today, wasn’t it? i’ll even miss talking to the trolls too. say hi to them for me, even though i didn’t get to know many. except karkat obviously, and oh yeah, vriska too. vriska, if you read this, thanks again for all your help. i don’t think i’d have made it this far if not for you! i just thought you should know that.
My Diamond OTP is still dead. : : : : (
I wonder what Vriska and Dead John are up to? We kind of left them hanging last time we caught up with them.
jade and dave sprite both say hi and send their best wishes. but now jade says i have to finish quickly! she wants me to throw this bucket and its heartfelt payload through her mysterious portal. so here i go.
This has got to be messing with Karkat’s head. “Is he REALLY saying all of this innocently? Is it even possible???”
Imagine your relationship with Chris being in the limelight.
A/N: Part 2, yay! As always, I hope this little fluff piece brings a smile to your face. 😊 You can read the related mini-series and the previous parts here: (Mini-series - Masterlist; Mini-series Spin-off: ‘Unexpected Reader’ and ‘Little Ways Away’ - Masterlist; ‘She Said Yes: Part 1’)
You chewed on your left thumbnail and tapped your right foot, anxiously and impatiently waiting for Chris’ FaceTime call. He’d texted you while you were in class, a text that held four simple but angsty words: “We need to talk.” You hated those four words when they had no context and you had no clue what the two of you needed to talk about. Things between the two of you since the engagement were back to being extraordinary; no disagreements, no fights, no misunderstandings. You were even in Atlanta over the weekend; a belated birthday celebration where you spent time with him and met his cast in person. Everything was perfect, so what could he possibly needed to talk to you about? Was he having doubts about marrying you? There was no way, he’d made it pretty clear he wanted to and was ready to. The anxiety was definitely eating you up, and if he didn’t call soon- you were going to call him first.
The front door swung open and Ava burst through, panting as though she’d just ran ten blocks. You looked up from your laptop and narrowed your eyes at the magazine she was holding up while she tried to catch her breath. Was that- “I know what Chris wants to talk to you about,” she blurted all in one breath. Just as she did, your MacBook started ringing; it was Chris calling. “Is that Chris? Answer it,” she instructed as she rushed to your side. You felt your jaw tighten as you answered the call, hoping your fiancé- who agreed things between the two of you were to be kept away from the limelight and under the radar until you graduated- had a good explanation for why the two of you were on the front page of US Weekly.
“Hey, baby,” Chris greeted you with a smile that hid his angst. He, too, had been having a hard time since he sent the 'we-need-to-talk’ text, especially when he was the reason the two of you needed to talk. “How’s your day been? You look gre-”
“Cut the crap, Evans,” Ava cut him off, holding up the magazine; Chris screwed his eyes shut, letting out a sigh. “She knows, we all know. It’s not just US Weekly, by the way,” she whispered to you and you scoffed at Chris, who was staring at Ava to stop talking. “Some of our Tumblr friends are um- freaking out, to say the least. You’re also all over-”
“Ava?” Chris interjected and Ava turned away from you to look at him. “Can I please talk to my fiancée in private?” Ava pressed her lips together and nodded, lowering the magazine onto the table as she left for her room. “Look, sweetheart,” he began as you picked up the magazine, shaking your head in disbelief at the title: 'Chris Evans announces his engagement to nineteen year old.’ “I know how it looks, but- it was an accident, I swear.”
“How do you accidentally announce an engagement, Christopher?”
“Oh wow, you’re using 'Christopher’. You’re definitely mad,” he mumbled then pressed his lips together when you shot him your death-defying stare that screamed “obviously I’m mad!” He sighed, knowing he’d broken the promise he made to you. But you had to know he didn’t do it on purpose. “I just- it slipped, Y/N. I was doing an on-set interview and they asked if I had anyone special waiting on me at home- you know, like they always do- and Mackie mentioned your name and I- I said 'yeah, I’m definitely missing my fiancée’ and- things snowballed from there.” You sighed, but you knew it was an accident now. “I am so sorry, I know this makes things very difficult for you.”
“Yes, it does,” you frowned at him and he sighed again. “Look- having people find out that I was your friend was overwhelming enough,” you reminded him of the beginning and he nodded. “Then people found out I was your girlfriend and that was-” you huffed, “insane, but still somehow manageable because we didn’t publicly confirm anything.” He nodded again, knowing exactly where you were going. “But Chris- this is you officially, and publicly, labeling me as your fiancée. I don’t even want to imagine what people are going to say, what’s-” you held up the magazine, “in this magazine. I mean- they didn’t even give me a name, just 'nineteen year old’.”
“Your name is inside, and on other…” He trailed off when he saw your stare had returned. “Yeah, but that’s not your point.” You nodded with tightly pursed lips. “I am really sorry, Y/N. See,” a small, cheeky smile appeared on his lips, “I know your name.” A weary chuckle escaped your throat which calmed Chris slightly. “Believe me, sweetheart. Soon it won’t be 'Chris Evans announces engagement to nineteen year old’, it’ll be 'Y/N Y/L/N marries redundant Captain America star’.”
“You’ll never be redundant,” you told him with a small smile.
“And you’re going to be a superstar,” he told you with a big grin.
“You’re not getting out of this so easily, Evans,” you chuckled when you realized what he was doing. He bit back his smile, nodding though he knew he would. “We’re going to have to talk about this, you’re going to have to help me figure out how to live life under the public eye.” He nodded, and you heaved a loud, dramatic sigh; he winced with a small, apologetic smile. “I guess I might as well get used to it now,” you groaned monotonously, making Chris laugh.
“It’s really not that bad,” he tried to console you.
“Says the man who loves his job, but hates the limelight.”
“You’re going to be fine,” he assured you. “You are so much stronger than me, so much better with being under the public eye. I mean- you look good all the time,” he complimented and you tried not to smile because once again, you knew what he was doing. “When we walk side by side on the street, people often mistake you for being the famous one.” You rolled your eyes because that only happened once; someone thought you were an actress and Chris was your bodyguard. “You’re going to be fine. It’s going to be hard at first, but soon everyone will see how amazing you are and understand that I’m the lucky one in the relationship.”
“I can’t wait to go back on Tumblr,” you said with a sarcastic enthusiasm and Chris chuckled. “You do realize most of my followers know what I look like, right? I bet you my inbox is going to be filled with questions and messages to pass on to you and- definitely hate mail, I’m going to be hated by so many people.” He tried to speak, but he couldn’t before you asserted, “so many, Chris.”
“I can’t imagine how anyone could hate you, darling.”
“That’s because you’re in-love with me, Chris,” you frowned.
“Exactly,” he smiled and you sighed, knowing he was right before he even got his point out. “I love you, that is all that matters- all that should matter. Who cares what dumb magazine is writing about? Who cares what strangers who don’t know anything about us think? Our friends and families approve, we approve. I mean- we are what matters here, Y/N. So pop on a hat and some sunglasses, say nothing, stay away from the tabloids, and live your life as you’ve always lived it.”
You said nothing for a while, just watched your handsome fiancé’s face in the computer screen as he smiled at you. Finally, “okay, fine.” His smile widened. “But don’t think you’re completely off the hook, 'cause you’re not.” He chuckled and nodded in acknowledgment. “If things get too overwhelming, I’m going to hate and blame you.”
“As long as you still marry me,” he winked, “I really don’t care.”
Hi can I request a jax imagine where his wife had a baby and has a new
curvier shape with hips thick thighs that she loves but he hates cuz
guys are giving her more attention they fight which leads to makeup sex
after he embarrasses her
tw: smut, nsfw
I approached the TM, baby carrier seat on my hand and a bag of muffins
in the other. I first went through Gemma’s office to comply my mission of being
here, Gemma wanted to have some time with her grandchild and I couldn’t deny
how excited I was of spending some time off with my old man. I hadn’t finished
opening the door when Gemma was already hovering over the two months old, he
was babbling at the sight of his grandmother and I was smiling at the view of
my beautiful baby looking so happy.
“How are you Thomas?” she said to the baby, holding him close to her chest and smiling big at
him “And how’s the mama? You haven’t
been here in a while” she said and I nodded.
“I’ve been crazy busy with the new house
and getting Abel adjusted to the kinder garden” I said with a low voice and she nodded.
“Your body is looking amazing, mama.” She said and I laughed a bit, I loved the after birth figure but I
didn’t think my old man appreciated it as much, at the end roughly three times
in the last couple months we have had intimacy and I was craving for this day
for ourselves “At what time do I have to
pick up Abel?” she said taking me off my trance.
“Oh… 3.” I said and she looked at me with a knowing look “It’s nothing I swear” I said before hearing the roar of the
Harley’s engines “I’ll pick him up at 8”
I said while she smirked at me.
“I’ll take him to school tomorrow, don’t
worry mama” she said and I just
left the office to meet up with my old man.
I approached the guys and immediately put my hand around Jax’s body, he
looked at me with a smile and kissed me softly in the lips. I could feel the
guys looking at us and I separated from Jax to give them a clueless look, Jax
tensed next to me before sending a glare to his brother and they all dispersed
quickly. We both got inside the TM and I approached the guys, Jax following me
“I made muffins” I said and the guys cheered, if there was something I was great at
cooking were my berry and chocolate muffins.
“This is so good lass” said Chibs before kissing me in the cheek, leaving some crumbs on me
that Jax quickly took care off. Once again the weird glances just this time
accompanied by a bunch on crumbs around their mouths, Jax gave them all a glare
“Can y’all seriously stop” said Jax getting angrier.
“We are sorry, pres. We can’t exactly help
it.” said Tig and I
looked at Jax who went to poured himself a drink at the bar.
“What’s going on?” I said and they all guarded silence even Jax who had already his hands
on a whisky bottle.
“Don’t act all clueless about it,
sunshine. You know what you’re doing when you get out of the house dressed like
that.” He said and I felt
my blood boiling, I was wearing some jeans and a loose blue tank top, nothing
revealing but even if I was he didn’t have the right to speak at me that way. I
looked at all of them and nodded at Jackson before storming off the TM.
I got home in no time, and poured myself a glass of water to try and
calm myself down. I heard the familiar sound of Jackson’s motorcycle arriving
at the house and I expected him to come to the kitchen in no time but he took
his time probably collecting his idiotic thoughts. I heard the door open and I
knew he could see me from his spot on the living room, it wasn’t long before I
felt his presence embracing me but I took a few steps further away from him.
“Darlin’” he said taking a step to get to me, he gently pulled my arm to make me
look at him but I just moved my head to the side “I’m sorry, YN” he said but I still was still tensing at his touch.
“I didn’t mean that”
“You talked to me like if I dressed like
one of the CaraCara girls.” I said
lowering my head but he moved it to make me look at him.
“I’m a jealous prick, darlin’. I’m sorry” he said and I nodded slowly, lowering my guard.
“You have nothing to be jealous about,
Jax. You won’t even touch me why would anyone else do it?” I said in a whisper and I saw him lose his breath, he put his hand next
to my head putting our foreheads together.
“Why would you even think that, baby? I
love you so much, I love you so much I’m afraid of losing you” he said before kissing me softly, tears threating to spill from my eyes.
“I’ve been distant but it’s not because
of you, the club is going through some shit and I’m scared of losing you or
Abel or Thomas.” He said “And now I
have to add the fact that in any minute my own brothers will try to make a move
on my beautiful wife”
“They’re your brothers, Jackson. They love
you and respect you, plus it’s been already two years since the first time they
met me and they haven’t made a move since that first night” I said and he smiled nodding at me.
“But now they see the wonders the
pregnancy did to your body” he said
before grabbing my lower half, lifting me to put me over the counter to start
kissing my collarbone “Knocking you up
seriously was a blessing” he said and I laughed “Giving me a beautiful baby and all this” he said grabbing my ass
on his hands. He quickly took my pants off, kneeling in front of me before
start kissing my inner thighs. “So
beautiful” he said taking my panties off, he started kissing closer and
closer before looking up to me smirking. I was in heaven right that moment.
“Oh, Jax” I said when I felt my orgasm built up.
“Let go for me baby girl” he said going even faster in between my thighs while I kept my hand
buried in his blonde hair. “Let go baby”
he said before licking me through my orgasm. I was panting heavily when I
heard his buckle fall to the ground followed by his blue jeans that smirk still
on his face, he pushed my legs open one more time and put himself in between
them before sliding quickly into me, thrusting into me. “Oh fuck, babe” he said biting on my neck before burying his head
in the curve of my neck before he came and I followed him closely after.
I took a few minutes to compose myself and reached out to grab my shirt
and my underwear. “Done so fast?” he
said and I raised my eyebrows at him “I
thought I needed to make it up for all the time I was an asshole to my old lady”
he said and I smiled at him.
“I wished baby but I have to pick up the
kids from your mother’s” I said,
he hummed before looking for his phone in his pants.
“Mama” he said biting his lips looking at me “Can you take care of the kids for tonight?” he said and I smiled
at him “Thank you mama, love ya” he
said and I crossed my arms at him “C’mon
Mrs. Teller, you are in for the night of your life.”
