I don’t really have a story in mind, and I know this is HEAVILY inspired of the Little Mermaid, but I see this later in the story, after Jack (and crew) saved Bitty from the nets, after they fall in love, etc. This is why Bitty is panicking instead of just singing to him.
Summer of 1983, Northern Italy. An American-Italian is enamored by an American student who comes to study and live with his family. Together they share an unforgettable summer full of music, food, and romance that will forever change them.
Gooooood evening everybody! PopTart8194 here! And today I drew a photo for @thatsthat24 most recent video, “No more anxiety part 1” and this is a pic of what I think might happen (probably not) in the next part of the video.
Maybe it’s why he left, because nobody could see that he’s not always the bad guy, and he gets really upset and sobs. Also I think we might learn his name.
Sorry ‘bout the no color but it was a late night thing.
@thatsthat24 you might wanna see this, possibly as inspiration. *shurgs*
Welp that’s all for today, let me know if any of y'all want an encore performance. Smooches~!❤
Sorry if I'm bothering you with these questions but how does one do colors
you’re not bothering me at all, i’m always happy to help!
1: what i always do is start with a layer with a basic color. place this layer under your lineart layer(s). i know that’s obvious but i forget to do that every now and then and then i spend a good five minutes figuring out where my lineart went lmao
2: this is where shit gets tricky. i use firealpaca and firealpaca has a clipping option. you basically add a layer, turn on clipping mode and then you can only draw on the parts of the layer that match with the layer underneath that. this way you don’t have to worry about accidentally drawing outside the lines lol. if you don’t have a clipping option just draw all different colors in different layers (or in one layer if you’re a chaotic evil like me)
3: the eyes! this is my favorite part of the coloring. just start with the basic white
4: choose your basic eye color and color the eyes. easiest tutorial ever, 10/10
5: the fun part! select a color just a tiny bit lighter than your original eye color and draw a small circle underneath the pupil. then add a little white dot either on the left or the right of the pupil, this depends on where your light is coming from
so yeah that’s about it! for the coloring, don’t be scared to use some art hacks. make cool color schemes for yourself and use those if you’re not sure what colors to use. if you draw a lot of characters, keep track of their basic colors and put them in a scheme. here’s mine for mark and jack and their egos:
(feel free to use this one for your own drawings btw, i don’t mind lol)
i’ve seen your other ask (i mean i think it’s from you lol) about back lighting and i’ll come to that later, don’t worry! if you have more questions about shadows and basic lighting just let me know and i’ll make something for that as well :)
