something to think about

When you begin to feel negative feelings bubbling up to the surface, be mindful of them, for they will not change anything but your own thoughts and wellbeing. Ask yourself; are they worth the extra energy? Do you even deserve to feel such negative emotions? No, you don’t. So try not to let them drag you backwards.

Imagine your chart if all of your house positions were flipped to their opposites. How different would you be? How different would your life be?

I’d have
Sun in the 10th House
Moon in the 7th House
Mercury in the 9th House
Venus in the 11th House
Mars in the 10th House
Jupiter in the 6th House
Saturn in the 12th House
Uranus in the 12th House
Neptune in the 12th House
Pluto in the 10th House

Sounds like a pretty cool person tbh… probably gets a lot done/is a hell of a lot more “successful” than I am. At the same time they probably aren’t even half as self-aware. This person strikes me as the type that knows what they want, but not who they are.

Who would you be?

You could have 10 decades, 10 years, or 10 days to live; if one does not learn to recognize the beauty of a single moment, then none of it matters.

Dear Foxhole fandom,

I was thinking it would be pretty neat to have a fandom week? But, like would y'all be interested in it? I was thinking around the week of ~march 31st?

My mind is half made up to do it, but I want to know if there would be genuine interest in it from the fandom? It would be cool to get input on prompts and stuff.

Also, it would be awesome if during the fanweek we as a fandom get the foxhole court to trend and drag more people into the fandom.

Please let me know if you are interested! Thanks.

So I read on Tumblr somewhere that each Theoi is multifaceted (e.g. Aphrodite being both a love and war goddess). That is to say, they each have polar opposites. That got me thinking: Ares is the god of war, right? So it’s only natural that his polar opposite would be joy and peace.
Can you imagine Ares, god of peace, chilling with soldier’s kids during peacetimes, gently pushing them on swings in a playground? Laughing and cracking jokes with vets while drinking beer, listening to stories he never gets tired of even after the half millionth time?
Because I think that’s hella rad.

Something to think about, I guess.

The weird part of avoidant personality disorder is that you trick yourself into believing that you’re happy just the way you are, and then, in the middle of the night, when you least expect it, it will hit you. All of the problems you never solved. All of the loved ones you have avoided because you were uncomfortable and didn’t know how to handle a situation. All of the parties you never attended because of the fear of criticism and/or rejection. All of those times you would walk down the street and feel ugly to others, even though you may look just fine. All those smiles and enthusiastic cover-ups, to hide the insecurity within.

In that moment, you realize that you have been ignoring and avoiding the most beautiful moments of life, the best ones.

Now my only fear is that this moment may hit me when I’m fifty, alone in my house, with 10 cats and 5 dogs and 3 hamsters and a few parrots, away from all society in a country-side house, with no human contact.

I don’t know, something to think about I guess.

I’ve noticed that sometimes people hold a grudge just to hold something. Because to not hold something would mean to be empty handed. And sometimes being empty handed feels so much worse
