Recently I received news that I gained a 1st in my BA (Hons) degree, and it got me to thinking of all the people I owe a huge thank you to for helping me get this far.
There are of course my tutors from this year (Carl Middleton, Rob Watts, Karl Sellman and Patsy Gilbert), who really made me push myself to the limits creatively, and open my eyes to a whole new way of designing.
I would also have to say a big thank you to my tutors in my second year Jonathan Doney and Emma Hopton for them encouraging my passion for the subject and fuelling my drive.
Marc Bullock, the graphics tutor on my Foundation Course at Worcester Tech. He kicked my butt into graphics when he saw what I could do, and I can’t thank him enough for doing it. If he hadn’t, i’d be a Fashion graduate by now.
And finally, but by no means least, the lady who started it all, Georgia Painter, my old GCSE and A- Level art tutor, and very dear friend. I was lucky enough to run into her today and thank her personally for her encouragement and support over the last eight years. She became more than just my inspiration, but a true friend too.
Without the help, advice, support and guidance of all these people, I would not have been able to achieve what I have today.
So a huge thank you to you all, I will never forget it :)
