someone should have done it before

so i have met someone and he is quiet and he holds me and he thinks before he speaks. never have i been able to sit with someone and the quietness has felt so right. i am loud and i definitely connect with people but never have i connected with a person in this way. it’s a natural spark. it’s genuine and he’s genuine and he is so kind.

what they don’t always tell you about T within informed consent sheets, a better post

since the one going around is filled with blatant misinformation and exaggerated tales of horror to the point that i question whether its intent was good.

the first thing to expect, is that your experience will be unique. there are hundreds of factors to how hormones change your body, and while you will find people with experiences like yours, you will have a different experience. so while this is a general guideline, your experience may be that you don’t experience these things, or that you experience them with intensity. it’s so, so varied. 99% of the stuff they put on informed consent forms is prefaced with ‘YOU MIGHT -’.

  1. regarding the smells, yes! you will smell different! that is a fact. the hormones are different in your body now, you will start to smell more like what you’d expect from people who have similar amounts of testosterone in their bodies. it can be a little weird, but it’s nothing that deodorant (and sometimes cologne, if you want!) won’t cover up and it’s nothing that’s abnormal and it’s nothing that every other human being doesn’t experience. everyone smells! you just happen to smell different than you used to.
  2. when facial hair grows, when hair everywhere else grows, you can get itchy. my face gets itchy, my head gets itchy, especially when it’s hot it can get frustrating, but it’s no cause for panic. some people might get itchier than others, but it’s just something you’ll deal with and it’s not all that bad. you’ll get used to it and think about it less and less as your body situates.
  3. binding, as with any thing you put on your chest, can cause acne! i’ve seen no difference in wearing sport bras and binders in regards to acne, i’m a DD chest, it’s just what happens when you sweat and compress your chest. having some acne between your boobs is normal, having some on your back is normal, just try to leave it alone and take showers (you can take showers without washing your hair every day if that’s an option!), it’ll be okay.
  4. as with, well, puberty, you’re going to have ups and downs of hunger. sometimes i can just never stop eating! sometimes i don’t feel hungry at all. it’s good to keep track of how much you eat generally and try not to overeat, but you might get cravings for more carb-heavy foods because puberty 2 takes a lot of energy for your body! eating more than normal is, well, normal. drinking a lot of water and things like orange juice can help even this out and it will benefit you in a lot of ways (like keeping your immune system healthy).
  5. your clit will probably grow. it can be kind of jarring, but it’s something you get used to, and everyone experiences this one with a WIDE range of difference. some people only get an inch or so in growth (mine is huge now and it’s still so weird but also so cool), some people can have their clit grow to much bigger! some people can feel their boners, some people get morning wood, and you might feel it in your pants and wearing tight underwear might not be the best in that case, try wearing boxers and loose clothes around the house as much as you can, as well as not wearing your binder too much.
  6. voice drops happen so suddenly you won’t even see them coming, but once the first one happens, you can get a feel for it. usually your voice cracks for a couple weeks/months, SUDDENLY gets deeper, levels off, then cracks again, repeat. it can be sudden, and it also creeps up on you. try keeping logs of your voice, you’ll be so shocked at the difference that only a few months can make! also, people around you will notice your voice changes before you do unless you’re constantly going back on old videos.
  7. acne is inevitable. to what degree? totally dependent on the person. genetics and health play a big role. you’ll get acne in places you haven’t before, but eventually it will level out. it’s not going to be forever, you have to keep in mind this is second puberty and puberty means random and weird shit! like unfortunate acne! it will pass. try to ignore it as much as you can.
  8. my period stopped at 4 months in. occasionally, i still get phantom cramps. not for very long usually, but you have to remember that your body has a rhythm, and you’re interrupting that. it’s going to take a while for it to switch gears! talk to your endo/doctor if your pains are excruciating to the point of hospitalization/etc because that can be a sign that something is wrong. also, you usually do blood tests every few months to make sure the hormones are working fine. my periods when i started T ranged from no pain at all and debilitating pain, and i’m someone who previously had extremely painful periods. this gets less common over time!
  9. try not to do any drugs/alcohol before getting your blood tests done. my endocrinologist knows that i do have weed occasionally and so far that hasn’t been a problem but i think drinking is something you should avoid with blood tests coming up for your safety so they don’t report problems that aren’t there. you’re not going to get in trouble for any of this, you just need to tell them.
  10. every person has a different T dose. i take 100 every other week because of various things: my size, my weight, how the hormones already are in my body. i know some people who are on 200, some who are on 50 weekly, it depends on what your PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR thinks is safe for you, and they WILL adjust accordingly if the need arises between both of you. taking more T than you’re prescribed with the intention of getting quicker effects will actually slow the process and make your body produce more estrogen and can hurt you. you don’t want that!
  11. it’s not shameful to set up appointments for your shots or not be able to do them yourself, and if you do them yourself it’s okay to mess it up. believe me, i have. every injection is different, but you get a feel for it and mess up less. they would not let you do it at home if it wasn’t safe enough. just watch videos, know what you’re getting into. getting blood drawn hurts more for me than my T shots. it’s okay that sometimes it takes you forever, or no time at all. T shots are your thing and your experience and your choice on how is the most comfortable for you. most doctors prescribe different injection sites based on what they think is best, all of them work. one person doing it in their leg doesn’t negate that it also works in the ass but if you’re told to do it one way, stick to that or talk it out with your doctor to come up with an alternative! the amount of blood that comes out of the injection site is different with each one, the angle is different, and i would HEAVILY SUGGEST sitting down for a while after a shot. one of my shots, i stood up right after and after about 5 minutes of walking i noticed oil just, coming out of the site and down my leg. it was horrible. gravity is your friend and also your enemy, use it wisely. the level of pain with each shot is different too, and remember that needles are supposed to only be put in something once. if you fuck up an injection and pull out too fast or anything, switch out the needle because if you don’t, the tip is more blunt (you probably won’t be able to tell with your plain eyes) and will hurt much more than the first time. shots are weird, each one is an entirely different beast but you’ll get it down.
  12. T can make you more emotional. REMEMBER - puberty 2! it’s not going to turn you into a raging frothing beast, but if you’re already prone to anger, already prone to frustration, it’s going to happen! i’m prone to getting claustrophobic and stressed out, and T has made that worse, but over time i’ve come to manage it and over time it evens out and i experience it less and less. with hormones comes mood shifts. it’s perfectly reasonable and it’s easier than puberty 1, since you can see it coming and can calm yourself down easier and you know what’s causing it. i get frustrated more easily sometimes, but i sit down, breathe, and know that it’s the hormones, and it makes it SO MUCH easier to deal with.
  13. your genitals in general might get drier. might be the opposite. mine is the latter. my libido is NUTS, it can be weird, but for some people it’s not like that. again, completely dependent on the person. either direction or no change at all, you can expect anything.
  14. your immune system is weaker and your body is putting a lot of energy into these changes. be aware of that, please for the love of all that’s good wash your hands, stay clear of sick people as much as you can, and try to eat and drink healthy, generally. you might catch colds and the colds can turn worse than most, but being hygienic is the best way to prevent any of that.
  15. if you stop T, your periods will come back. some medications can’t work with T like some birth control, and before starting any medication please check in with your doctor before to make sure that it’s safe. use your best judgment and be conscious of your health.
  16. T is not an overnight experience. changes take a long time, some longer than others, and being patient is incredibly important. don’t get frustrated at your body, it’s doing it’s best. you’ll get there, some slower and some faster than others. it’s different for everyone. but you WILL get there if you want to get there.
Interview my OC about questions that has no easy answer.

1. Which should be saved – a bus full of innocent lives or a loved one?

2. You meet a man who has killed someone and done time for it before. Does this factor into how you treat him? Will he ever truly escape that sin?

3. If you could jump back through time to save a loved one’s life, would you? Despite what it might to do the timeline? To everyone else? Do you believe it is their fate to die regardless?

4. You have a secret you swore not to reveal. But this secret is the only thing that would prove your innocence in a separate matter. Is it worth risking your own well-being for the secret? Or would you betray the trust given to you?

5. Is it better to hurt others before they hurt you or let yourself be walked all over and hurt by others?

6. If you tell the truth, an evil person gets to walk away free. If you lie, you may be able to send them away like they deserve. Is honesty worth more than justice?

7. You have the key to immortality in your hands. But not for free. If you want it, as a price, your worst enemy also gains immortality. Is it worth it?

8. If you could gain as much money as you want for losing a sense, would you do it?

9. Can people be held accountable for things people close or related to them did or are they innocent?

10. If a lot of people, possibly innocent people, have to die in order to make a real change, is it worth it? Can you live with their deaths even if it helps people in the present?

11. Imagine there is a beast that craves attention. If you ignore it, despite being deadly, it will leave you alone. Could you live like that? Even if it possibly attacked others? Would you try and challenge something that unknown?

12. If someone else stole something and you stole it back is that a good deed, a bad deed or one of equal worth? Are you better than the original thief?

13. Could you sacrifice yourself for the good of everyone else?

14. What of love? Say you discover your lifelong crush on another has finally been reciprocated… but they are currently dating a family member or a dear friend the crush feels responsible to honour. Do you force the break up? Date on the side? Bottle it up forever?

15. Is lying to others to gain their approval more important than being genuine and hated?

16. Have you ever contemplated killing someone? Who and why? Would you ever act on it? Are you frightened you might?

17. Have you ever gotten sheer joy out of hurting someone else, either physically or mentally? To whom and why? Did it scare you?

18. Have you ever done something morally wrong? If it’s morally wrong do you regret it?

19. What is more likely a thought to you – that this world is wrong or that you are wrong?

20. Are there people in this world who, no matter how much time and penitence is given, should never be forgiven?

21. Are there people in this world you simply think the world would be better without? If you could erase them out of existence without physically murdering them, would you?

22. How do you feel about having an intimate relationship with someone you don’t love? What if they love you in return? Does that make you feel guilty?

23. Could you ever become your own hero? Is that a role you can fulfil or is it something you look to others for?

24. How do you feel about tears? Are they cowardly and weak? Do you cry? Would you consider that shameful?

25. What is more important to you? An idea of yours being used and appreciated or the credit for that idea beings yours and yours alone?

26. Is your personal happiness more important than anything else in the world? Than fame? Than the happiness of others?

27. How far would you go to achieve a dream or ideal? Does it matter who suffers? Does it matter if you suffer?

28. How long would you wait for the one you love? A year? Fifteen years? Forever? Could you honestly be loyal to an unfulfilled love?

29. Is genius equal to hard work? Does a genius deserve praise for doing well without effort? Are they above us?

30. Do we live in a world of parallels? Can there be no hope without grief? No happiness without suffering? Or is a utopia possible?

31. What is more important to you? Being respected and praised by your elders or being looked up to and championed by those younger or of the same age?

32. If you could choose to remove certain feelings such as anger, confusion, sadness, would you remove them?

33. If you could wipe certain memories from your head, would you? Why would you? What memories?

34. What path appeals to you more? An exciting dream that leaves you possibly penniless and alone or a drab existence where you have steady success.

35. Is every person in this world wholly unique or can they be categorized? Can they be grouped and mentally dissected? Are you just another sheep in another flock or are you the sole unique soul?

Matthew Mercer’s Raven Queen ™

I’ve been seeing a whole bunch of stuff being thrown around about the Raven Queen after the latest Talks Machina, mostly centering around the speech that could have happened if anyone in VM had tried to argue with the Raven Queen for Vax’s soul. For simplicity’s sake, just in case anyone hasn’t seen or read it, this is the speech Matt gave:

“Do you have idea how insignificant you are? You are the instruments of divinity. Everything you have accomplished is because we gave you the tools to accomplish it, for goals unforeseen to you that fit our needs and interests. You are nothing, and yet you come and beseech me this, after all I have done for you?”

And I get it, it’s incredibly rude! After everything VM has done, after everything they have bled for, struggled for, lived and died for, to call them insignificant at the moment of their greatest triumph? It’s a slap in the face right before she takes away someone who should have gotten the happy ending that everyone else was getting.

But I feel like maybe we’re forgetting a key element of the Raven Queen in the Critical Role setting.

Humans are Weird

So, I just thought of my own humans-are-the-weird-ones thing. What if humans were the only race to develop clothing and other things that are used simply to change our appearance. The other races don’t use clothing for protection from their home environments, and use vehicles for exploring non-native environments. Armor exists, but in a non-ornamental way, and generally doesn’t do much to change appearance, or is at least non-individualized. Makeup and nail polish are unknown, though tattoos and piercings are known to be used by some cultures for ranking and identification purposes and are not used ornamentally by any race other than humans. Hairstyles are not unknown, but are all generally for practical (keep it out of the way! I need insulation! I need shade!) reasons.

At first, aliens just think that there are a lot more humans than there really are, that humans that look alike with small differences are just family members, and that humans just naturally tend to be known solely by their family name. (Like, Alien “Ralph” meets Human “Bella Tailor” one day, sees her the next day in a different outfit, and thinks that he/she is meeting a relative of the human he/she met earlier, and that their family name is “BellaTailor.”)

Humans, at first, just thought that aliens were terrible at matching faces and names… and that they were apparently all nudists, but hey, who cares? Different cultures and races and all that, you know.

“Hello, BellaTailor. My name is Ralph. I believe I met your relative the other day. How is she doing?”

“I do not have a sister, Ralph. You must be mistaken.”

“That cannot be! She looks just like you, only more… pink, I believe is the correct color-word… and has your name! You must be relatives! It would be too much of a coincidence for you to not be related!”

“Where… exactly… did you meet my ‘sister’?”

“Oh! We were on the same shuttle together. I must admit I am surprised; I thought that there was only one human on the ship’s roster.”

“Ralph, I am the human you met there. Remember how we talked about how uncomfortable those one-race-fits-all shuttle seats are?”

“But… no… you are different colors and patterns! This is a terrible joke. I wouldn’t suggest trying it on anyone else.”

“Dude, all I did was change my clothes. It’s not like I’m a whole ‘nother person, despite what commercials and such would have you believe.”

“Clothes?”

“Right… nudist… um… let me just… show you?”

Bella precedes to take off her top (not like they’ll care, they’re nudist anyway, right? eep, here goes nothing, really hope this is okay). Ralph thinks she means that they’re a race that sheds their skin, though he’s put out and puzzled over how no one mentioned that fact to anyone. After all, shedded skins can really clutter up an area, especially at the rate she seems to shed, though it could explain a few things. Bella, frustrated, puts her top back on, takes Ralph to her quarters, and shows him her clothing (which was still mostly packed due to limited storage space). Ralph finally sort-of understands, but the idea is totally trippy and weird to him.

“What did you think I brought so much luggage for?”

“Well, I didn’t really want to pry, and your planet is… a bit… cluttered…”

*sigh* “Dude, I can’t… I just… urgh! WHY ME?!?!?!”

After many misunderstandings the aliens are brought to understand that humans can change their appearance in many ways, practically at-will.

Then the whole issue of “camouflage” comes up. By this point, humans have developed advanced camouflage that automatically mimics the wearer’s surroundings. The other races react in various ways. Some are rather neutral about this discovery. Others are afraid. But many desire to obtain the art and secrets of “camouflage” for themselves. The earth and humans are now at the center of a conflict that borders on war - Intergalactic war. Because we’re the only race to have actually thought of camouflage. Thankfully, the other races begin to catch on before full-blown war is unleashed, but it is a very close thing.

@howtotrainyournana @crossroadsdimension Look! I came up with one! :D YAY for tired-brain-creativity! WHOOO (don’t really feel tired now, but I should be, and I know I will be when I have to wake up in four hours. :/ why does the coffee only seem to work when you actually want/need to sleep?)

you’ve stopped saying i love you to me every night, like you used to before. should i be worried that you don’t love me anymore or is it once again my fear talking. its ironical how i used to tell my friends to believe in actions and not words but i find myself wondering why you have stopped saying those words. i find myself wondering what could i have done wrong. i know what i could have done wrong. but how can three words have the power to make someone feel miserable about themselves in seconds, but how can three words have power to make someone feel alive in seconds. but how can these three words change someone’s life in seconds.

Katsuki and the hurt Midoriya Bird - Full Translation

I just found the prequel to the really beautiful and cute AU where Bakugou finds an abandoned hurt Midoriya bird and nurses him back to health, so here is the full translation of the comic. ♥

Art by @hiroaca_ake || Translated by seairu

Deku: “….e..lp..”

Deku: “Help…..”

Bakugou: “?”

Deku: “This way!”

Deku: “Ah, you finally saw me!”

Deku: “Finally… Nobody was answering, I was getting really worried.”

Deku: “Umm, can you get me out,  if it’s not a bother?”

Bakugou: ‘What is THAT, a bird? Person?’ 'I’m not getting into this mess. It’s hurt and gonna die soon anyway so nothing good can come out of this.’

Bakugou’s Mom: “Katsuki~, can you do mama a favor?”

Bakugou: “What?”

Wife swapping in India - some tips

Wife swapping in India - some tips
STRANGER OR FRIEND?
One – there are lots of fake ‘couples’ who are basically blackmailers. They will usually appear very attractive (especially the woman) and will even send their explicit photos to you as part of the introduction. It is very difficult to figure out which is a genuine couple and which is just a bunch of scamsters. The wives may actually be prostitutes.
Two – Diseases. There are some 'master’ swappers – older couples who have been involved in this for a long time. These people are usually emotionally shallow and hardly fit the definition of a 'couple’. They are more interested in using their 'couple’ status to get more sex, and with as many different people as possible. They often want only single-time encounters. Such professional swappers are bad news for various reasons, and not just because they too may try to blackmail you or your wife.
Three – whether you like it or not, swapping is not just about physical needs. You may think it is, but it is not, it is also emotional. It is about the lack of excitement and change and emotions in a relationship. Women usually develop feelings for the other guy in such relationships and you too may develop some feelings for the other woman (though men may be better able to control it.) If you don’t know the guy well, you don’t want your wife to develop feelings for him. Worse, you don’t know him well, he may try to take advantage of your wife’s feelings for him and cut you out.
Four – Most Indian women will not sleep with a stranger. This may be different in other cultures, but in India, 95% of the women won’t sleep with a stranger. So if you are trying to go in for a Internet-based thing, you are pushing her. Sometimes, she may agree if you pressurize her enough, or perhaps because she doesn’t realize how it feels like. But she is unlikely to enjoy it. If she doesn’t like it, it is rape. And you have just been an accomplice to your wife’s rape. It’s not a good feeling and she’ll hate you for it. This is something many men don’t realize because most men are ok with sleeping with strangers. They don’t really care. Women hate sex with strangers. This issue may be overcome through non-sexual introductions lasting for a couple of months (including combined trips, slumber parties etc., but it’s frankly too much bother to make a new friend for swapping, instead of just using an existing one. Besides, halfway through, you may realize that one of you or both of you don’t like the other couple much and is not interested in having sex with that person.) That said, if your wife is willing and eager to sleep with a stranger, you should perhaps get yourself checked for HIV.
Five – Imagine you rented a car for a week. How would you treat it? You’ll try to take maximum advantage of the situation and use it rough. You’ll try all your stunts and fantasies on it. What if it was your best friend’s car? If you are true friend, you won’t abuse it. You know you’ll have to answer to your friend sooner or later. It’s the same with wives. You lend your wife to a stranger, he’ll abuse her. He might force her to do things she doesn’t like. He might even make her pregnant. She’ll suffer and you may not be around to help her. Even if you are, it might turn violent. So don’t lend your wife to a stranger you found on a website, no matter how 'gentlemanly’ he looks.
Six – Swapping is a complicated matter. Human emotions are involved. There will be unforeseen twists and turns. There has to be love and kindness between all the four people for this to succeed. Jealousy will show its head and friends can solve such complicated emotional issues. Preferably, both the men and the women should be friends. If only one pair (man-man or woman-woman) are friends, spend enough time together for the other two also develop a friendship and understanding between each other. If they end up hating each other, find a new couple, otherwise life will become living hell for all four parties involved. If they are so-so friends, it is still ok. (Women are mostly so-so friends with other women..)
SAME ROOM OR DIFFERENT?
The ideal order of how events should unfold is the following:
1) Couples already know each other for some time
2) Check with your friend (male or female) in the other couple if he or she is open to the idea of swapping. If yes, proceed as below:
3) Couples should do activities/trips together and hang out with each other in a group of four.
4) Each person spends time in a secure public place (cinema, park etc.) with the opposite-sex partner from the other couple till they are comfortable in each other’s company.
5) Each couple have sex with their own partner (husband-wife) in the same room, either with lights on or off. If it is with lights off, then later, with lights on. This gives an opportunity for all parties to see their future sexual partner without clothes on. It also helps fuel their fantasies about each other.
6) Introduce the idea of swapping into partners’ minds (“he thought you were hot and said i was really lucky. i think he wanted to have a go at you too.” “I saw you eyeing her, you thinking of new partners, is it?”) If you are trying to introduce the idea into your wife’s mind (and your friend’s wife is already willing), get help from your friend’s wife to bring your wife into the loop.
7)Create a situation where the room is totally dark and all four of you are naked. There should be opportunity for the mixed couples to touch each other (could be a game, or sleep situation, 'accident’ or something else.) There can be sex immediately or there can be just touching etc. (depending on the situation)
LIGHTS ON OR NOT?
Don’t look at your partner having sex with someone else if you are not sure you can take it. A lot of people who think they can, find out that they cannot when the actual situation comes about. They feel angry, or feel cheated by the partner. They feel that the partner enjoyed more with the other person. They start feeling insecure about their ability to satisfy their partner. Don’t worry, there will come a time later on when you will be able to see it and not lose control. Wait for it, don’t look initially, keep it dark.
DO I TALK ABOUT IT?
Never ask about it. What your wife or husband does with his or her partner is totally his or her business. Of course, you have to make sure that the other person does not abuse your partner (wife) when he is alone with her and that your wife continues to enjoy the relationship as time passes (and is not just putting up with it for your sake.)
Never talk about it. Don’t compare, even in your mind. Tell your partner you don’t ever want to talk about this. It just happens, that’s it.
FALLING IN LOVE?
Realize that initially the other person may feel better than your existing partner. You may even feel like you are in love with the new partner, but it will wear off. Don’t burn your bridges and spoil your existing relationship. Put in extra efforts to reassure your partner that you still love him/her. Continue to have sex with him/her. Tell all this to your partner also. Tell your partner it’s ok if he or she feels like he or she is falling in love with the other person. It’s just the hormones. It’s how human beings are designed – they seek variety and thrills – it’s nothing to be ashamed of or feel guilty about. Enjoy your life and let your partner also enjoy.
There will be temptation to take things 'private’ between two of the 'new couples’ to add spice to the new relationship – such as through phone calls and emails. It is best avoided, to make sure jealousy and suspicion does not come up. Resist the temptation to go overboard. Don’t spend half an hour on the phone with your new 'boyfriend’ or 'girlfriend’, even if your wife or husband is not there. This should, obviously, not be done under any circumstances if he or she is there. It is a sure-fire recipe for disaster.
Similarly, there might be a temptation to move 'permanently’ to the new partner. It is a sign that you are in love with the new partner. At this point, remember that the grass is always greener on the other side. After spending a year or two with the new partner, you will feel just as bad as you did with your first one. The only difference will be that you will have spoiled your relationships with all three of the other members in your group. Be an adult and resist the temptation. If you think you won’t be able to, don’t get into this swapping thing at all. This is for people who have been through two or more relationships and know what relationships are about, how they change and evolve etc.. This is not for someone who has never fallen in love before. Such people will think 'this is it, the love of my life is here’. Preferably, the couples should have at one time been in love with each other, at some point in life.
It is perfectly ok to go out on dates with your new partner etc.. as long as it is done in a transparent way and all four members of the group have agreed on it.

Jily AU: Your photos keep showing up on my iPhone, and the internet helped me track you down. Now we’re kind of celebrities, and also I think you’re hot. (Inspired by "I Followed My Stolen iPhone Across The World, Became A Celebrity In China, And Found A Friend For Life" on Buzzfeed)

The article can be found here. I recommend it. It’s a wild ride. Some liberties were taken with the prompt.

Because James is a fucking idiot, his phone gets stolen.

He knows he’s a rowdy drunk and he knows the three word mantra any university student needs when they go out (‘phone-cash-keys’) but Sirius has bet that he can take more Jägerbombs than James and he’s never been able to back down from a challenge. He doesn’t even think twice about whether his phone is in the pocket of his jeans or his coat, the latter of which he leaves at the table. He swears Peter is sitting there when he leaves, but when he comes back ten minutes later and a whole lot dizzier, the table is empty, coat and all.

He and Sirius find Peter later, crouched over a toilet and heaving with Remus patting his back. James has the decency to wait until his friend is done vomiting to ask, “Pete, d’you have my phone?”

If possible, Peter gets greener. “Sorry,” is all he gets out before shaking his head and clutching his stomach.

Peter ends up feeling worse about the whole thing than James does. James is upset to have lost all his pictures and apps, and he’s livid at the wanker who decided to grab his phone, but ultimately, he can afford a new phone and he can take new pictures, so in a few months he’ll likely get over it. But Peter insists that because James left his phone with him, it’s Peter who owes him a new one.

James attempts to refuse. Peter doesn’t have the kind of money to replace his phone, and James isn’t about to put that on him.

“My friend Dung knows how to get an iPhone for dirt cheap,” Peter claims, and reluctantly, James agrees.

And so it begins.

Taehyung’s p.o.v

I didn’t go home when I said that I would, and Y/N hasn’t bothered to message me at all the past few days. Was she mad at me? No I doubt that she’d be mad at me, she’s always been so… so, forgiving. There are so many times that I’ve lashed out on her and she’d still be right by my side reassuring me that everything’s going to be alright and I’ve never been more thankful to have someone like her in my life.

I kept checking my phone, switched it on and off just to make sure there wasn’t a glitch which resulted in my phone not receiving any messages. But nothing. Was she busy? Nothing happened to her right? Actually scrap that thought, if anything major happened to her she’d tell me first thing.

I’m not even going to try and hide it, I did feel bad for being so cruel to her the other night and actually I’ve been sort of ‘off’ with her for a while now. But I couldn’t bring myself to apologise. I’m a douche I know, but it’s not like what I said wasn’t true, per se. She was never this clingy when we first started dating and we’ve been together for four years now. Our relationship was publicly open and fans accepted and loved Y/N because they could always see how happy she makes me, and that’s no lie nor was it a publicity stunt, she genuinely made me so happy. Of course she’d still receive hate once in a while but I guess that only ever made our bond even stronger. But I’ve had the thought of ‘was I getting tired of her, is that why I just assume she’s being clingy?’ No, that can’t possibly be it, every time I looked at my lockscreen and see our picture my heart still manages to skip a beat. Maybe this is just a phase that all couples go through? You have to go through the bad to get to the good right?

To tell the truth, every time I look at my future, I only ever see myself with Y/N. She’s always been someone I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, someone I wanted to grow old with and have our own kids. She’s that ‘someone special’ to me, someone who will always be irreplaceable regardless, I wouldn’t want to be with anyone other than her. Actually, I wouldn’t even be who I am today without her. And that’s made me realise that I should quit being such a dick and appreciate everything that she’s done for me and everything that she is to me.

Quick update before the next part drops, kind of a filler in a way but I hope you enjoy anyway 💜

New rule: if you respond “at least you don’t have” or “at least you have” when we’re talking or what not I’m just not going to respond. I obviously don’t mind if you respond and say “I understand. I struggle with this too” or something similar. That makes sense.

But I am so beyond tired of the struggling Olympics and the constant competition out of chronic illness and struggling people have been making on here. We shouldn’t be in competition with one another for who has it worse. That’s not support.

We should allowed to talk about what we’re struggling with without being dismissed or feeling like we don’t have it “bad enough” because someone else may have it worse.

We need to stop this behavior. I will no longer be responding to anyone who engages in this for my own well being.

Regarding Crowley

Obvious spoilers ahead…

There are many things that bothered me regarding Crowley’s death. For a character that has been on the show for as long as he has and for his death to be so glossed over… They wasted a great opportunity to lay on the feels.

His death wasn’t sad. Don’t get me wrong, I AM sad beyond belief that his character killed off, but the lack of emotion in the scene was startlingly pathetic.

I’ve long said that as soon as a character has their redemption arc, they will be killed. It’s so damn predictable at this point that it was obvious this was coming.

You want to make Crowley’s death sad? Build up to it. Make it final, but not the end!

In my opinion, so many little things could have been done to make this death THAT much more tragic, instead of relatively useless and unnecessary.

Have Crowley admit that he has nothing left… because he doesn’t. Sure he made some hasty comment about how he doesn’t like Hell or whatever… but again, so glossed over that it didn’t really MEAN that much. His mother, regardless of the fact that she was a thorn in his side, she was still his mother and it was obvious that he felt SOMETHING for her, otherwise he would have just rid himself of the hassle she caused long ago.

Lucifer is back, meaning all the work he put into Hell is gone, all his loyal subjects (as loyal as demons could be) would obviously defect for fear of their own lives, and BEST case scenario, he’d be Lucifer’s dog again, worst case, he’d be tortured and killed. Even if he managed to escape, you know Lucifer would do everything in his power to find him.

Even after fucking everything he’s done for Sam and Dean, INCLUDING FUCKING SACRIFICING HIMSELF, Dean and Sam both show no goddamn emotion when Crowley reveals his plan to kill himself to save them.

Crowley is far from perfect, particularly in their eyes, but he saved them and Cas on multiple occasions. That should at least warrant a pained, “…wait!” or something from Dean at the very least.

Have Crowley leave something behind. Have him slip a piece of paper into Sam’s hand before running off the stare down the Devil. Maybe the piece of paper with just a name of someone who can help put Lucifer back in his cage, or a phone number. Fucking SOMETHING. There is seemingly nothing left of Crowley on that show and it will be pretty much as if he didn’t exist.

His death wasn’t sad. It was a waste. A tragic fucking waste.

I don’t know that I’ve ever really complained about this show… but I’ve watched the scene a number of times and it’s just so anti-climactic and bothersome.

Anyone have other thoughts? I’m curious what everyone thinks of what happened.

“They didn’t ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn’t your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like ‘maybe we should just be friends’, turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It’s a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.”

Jeon Jungkook is his own soulmate. Not that he has any say in the matter, truth be told, but he doesn’t need to shout up to the sky and ask the universe himself in order to know what it has planned for him.

All he has to do to understand is take one single glance at his forearm.

Caring

A/n: Four little scenarios showing caring aspects of a relationship with Shawn.

~~~
“Did you eat dinner?” Your boyfriend’s voice comes through the speaker of your phone sitting in front of you on your desk.
“Uhhh, I had a poptart.” You respond, trying to talk to him, while studying for your exam at the same time.
“Babe,” He says in that tone he always uses when he’s concerned about you and wants to force you to take better care of yourself, but he’s too far away to really do much.
“I’m not even hungry.” You claim, still frantically reading through your notes.
“Please, please eat something.” He says, trying his best to get you to listen to him.
“I’m not hungry, Shawn, I swear.”
“It’s like…” He pauses and you know he’s checking his watch and accounting for the time difference, “It’s almost nine at night. And I know you aren’t going to bed anytime soon. Do you want me to order you pizza?”
“No, don’t. I’m fine.” You insist.
“Eat something hun, or I will order you pizza. You know I will.” And he isn’t joking, you know that. Being in another country didn’t stop him from ordering pizza and paying for it online to have it delivered to your door before, so it wouldn’t stop him now. Because you know he isn’t bluffing, you stand up and head into your kitchen in search of something to eat so that Shawn won’t have to carry out his threat.
You couldn’t believe it, not one bit. He was within arm’s reach of you, currently sleeping on the hospital bed in the room, his chest clearing rising up and then falling back down again at a steady pace….but still there was a part of you that was convinced you were going to wake up soon and be pulled back to reality.
Ever since you were a child you had grown up knowing his face, his name, and he was the very reason you now had the job that you did – working for Shield. He had made it his life mission to save others, never once expecting anything in return, and he had made the ultimate sacrifice in doing so. As far as you were concerned doing this job was your way of thanking him, something you never thought you would get to do in person.
Not only that but you were just like any other red blooded woman and you had developed quite the crush on him despite having never been in the same room as him until now.
A tired groan interrupted your thoughts and the rather perverted gaze you’d had on him as his eyes started to open.
“Captain Rogers?”
“Almost ready?” I asked, leaning over while still standing, trying to tie my shoe in the most inefficient way possible.
“Let me get a drink first,” Veronica said, grabbing a glass and heading to the bathroom sink.  Veronica told me she liked bathroom water more than kitchen water on our fourth date.  It was a little weird, but I didn’t judge her.  Maybe she knew something I didn’t.
She paused to smile at the mirror before turning on the tap.  I remember what she told me about that, too.  She said she did it every time she came across a mirror to remind herself that she was a beautiful person.  She was beautiful, that was certainly true.  I couldn’t knock her runner’s figure or her shielded eyes or her Mediterranean brown hair.  She also dressed well.
When I was in elementary school, I remember we had this assembly in which some guy came in and the basic message of it was was that we should protect the rainforests.  I have a vague recollection that there were songs involved, but I can’t really remember the full details of something that happened almost fifteen years ago.  What I’m stuck with now is the question: why did the school permit someone to tell 7 year olds to protect the environment?  What could I, a 7 year old kid, possibly have done to stop the mean companies from bulldozing trees to make paper out of?  I disliked paper just as much as the next kid; you had my full support already.  Did they pay that guy or did he pay the school?  And which would be worse?
“Ready now?” I asked as she finished her second glass.  "We should get out there before sunset.“
"Yeah,” she yielded, tossing me the glass glass.
“That’s glass,” I scolded, carefully setting it inside the dishwasher.
Does this qualify as a skill: I’m really good at measuring someone’s attractiveness.  I can look at any woman and immediately scale her outward beauty compared to other women.  If you put 100 women in a room I could place them in order of my attractiveness to them without any struggle at all. What does that mean?  What does that say about me?  Do other people have this same skill?  I’m afraid to ask.  I haven’t ever mentioned this to anyone.  I realize it’s a very rude thing to even talk about doing.  Plus, where would I find the 100 women?
We disembarked from my second floor apartment, careful on the icy outdoor steps to the parking lot.  After four sentences of discussion, which I will spare you, we decided to head west, so we could face the setting sun as we ran.  I had forgotten my sunglasses, but Veronica had remembered hers.  She also remembered her water bottle and her ipod.  It was one of those mid 2000s ones, definitely pre-iPhone, but I couldn’t remember what it was called. Anyway, she also had one of those straps runners have that lets you attach it to your arm as you run.  Man, technology has really advanced.
When I first started driving I used to be really nervous about making left turns. Something about them startled me.  Maybe it was the improvisation and finesse required to judge the distance needed to successful turn without getting destroyed by the opposite side of traffic, maybe it was because I probably only did ten of them before going for my license test.  I think I’ve mastered it now, but I still really prefer right turns.  They’re a lot easier to pull off and there’s less of a chance your car will be hit if you make an honest American mistake.
I really struggled to keep up with her, no matter how hard I tried.  I had that sharp pain in my abdomen you get from not eating enough pasta and tomatoes the night before you run.  I also had one of those little woodchip spikes you get in your socks in my sock.  It wasn’t that bad, though; I had definitely had worse woodchip splinters in my sock before, that’s for sure.  All in all, it wasn’t worth complaining about and it definitely wasn’t worth stopping and getting left behind.  The sun was finally starting to do its nice colors thing, so I sucked it up and kept running at pace with Veronica.  She had on one of those yellow-green jackets runners wear to make themselves really visible.  I had one of those nice black caps that robbers wear, but they’re really warm so I didn’t mind having to face that stigma if it arose.
