Good morning❤️ here is a mini and very lazy home tour, remember I’ll be updating most likely this weekend because we get our laundry room gear and our dining so I’m excited! For the most part every room is done, I do believe we have some new paintings coming in as well! And Es bed? It was on back order so I don’t remember! Her first big girl bed !

For some photo detail. The first photo is the living room and in the back is a second living space and Sam knew exactly what he had in mind for it 😂 he ordered stuff too but hasn’t told me, lol he says you’ll see, I’m excited to find out lol The second photo to the left is Es room it’s much more full than it looks but I thought this was was extremely cute to share as a sneak peak The third photo to the right is Ellises room, very simple and homey, has a comfortable feel and fourth photo to the third two on the left is Sims room which was the first done seeing we had all of her stuff the first day, but we love it! She’s very pleased with it as am I, Next to Simplicity’s room to the right is our room (Sam and I) and it’s just the window view and Sams small work space and the babies crib because we thought it was getting warm when we took this photo but it’s supposed to go from 72 and sunny to 22 and snowy this weekend.. oof, love the snow though! And the last photo on the bottom is our bed area which above it you can’t see is a windowed ceiling but allows us to close it off if we don’t want it open, I’m pretty In love with this part.

Thank you for reading I hope you have a wonderful Friday !

Some detailed photos of the Maus’s tracks and roadwheels.

The tools that they had to use to do track maintenance were monster in size!

Captions on the photos.

Ran out of characters on the last caption.

Work on the Maus’s tracks had to be done under the massive steel side skirts, which could not be removed. Must have made life really hard for the engineers working on the prototypes.

Half-healed, half fresh, but man, am I super psyched to have wrapped up this tattoo on Josh today. Also a little sad! It’s been so fun to work on! New Zealand and Northern European native birds, plants, and insects. Trees are pohutukawa, birch, beech, rowan; birds are tui, kea, house swallow, and raven; today added a magpie moth and two Leioproctus fulvescens bees. Hopefully I’ll snag some healed photos before he heads back to NZ! Detail post after this.

I was asked about how I paint Kylo’s luxurious hair, so I threw together a step by step with a piece I’m working on (will be posting more of that later). I’m still figuring out how to paint hair myself and I’m not a hyper realistic painter, so this definitely isn’t a guide to 100% realism. Done in Photoshop.

First off, make sure you have plenty of reference. I’ve been using crappy screencaps for the general shape and style and then grabbing some Adam Driver photos to fill in the detail and color that those caps are sadly lacking.

I block in the silhouette with a dark color. What color you use depends on the lighting of your scene, but don’t use 100% black or it’ll look dead. I think this one was a really dark purple.

Then I use a dark brown to block in the large masses of light. Don’t think of individual strands of hair, just large rounded shapes.

I use a cooler color to highlight. Again, the exact color is relative to the lighting in your scene. I find less is more when it comes to highlights and hair in general. The more I go nuts painting highlights and strands of hair, the worse it looks, so I try to restrain myself. I probably didn’t restrain myself enough. Looking back, I think I’d tone down the highlights more. I painted them on a new layer so I could fade some of the edges after. I think of the hair sort of like ribbons at this point rather than strands.

And finally, refining and giving it some more depth. I added a cool blue light from the top and some warm backlighting. Adding a bit of dark right beside the highlights will make them look shinier and freshly conditioned like you know they are. I painted a few individual strands in the highlights and around the edges (again on a new layer) to add realism, but I try to be sparing with those or it tends to make it look flat. A little bit of smudge brush to blend and soften some edges, dodge brush to bring out a couple of the brightest highlights, and then I call it done and hope I’ve done those luscious locks justice.

The Galaxy in my Hood - Explored #13 by Matt Payne
Via Flickr:
I really wanted to drive to Lost Lake today to get a photograph of the Milky Way and Mount Hood. I had to drop my wife and son off at the Portland airport at 3:30 A.M., so I was already going to be awake and in the car; however, I took one look at the weather and decided it would have been a waste of gas - nothing but fog and clouds in the forecast. Instead, I came home and edited this version of Mount Hood and the Milky Way, with a small meteor above galactic center. My goal was to use the lines created by the Milky Way and it’s reflection to draw the viewer right into the center of the frame and Mount Hood. I also went for the inclusion of these two rocks on the shore of Lost Lake as anchors for my photo. Some technical details: Nikon D800, Nikon 14-24, f/2.8, ISO 3200, 30 seconds. I combined exposures taken on the same night, one earlier than the other, to get good exposure on Mount Hood. I enhanced the reflection of the Milky Way to make it more visible and to achieve the vision I had for the image.

References for my Fallout OC, Maddy, for anyone that wants to draw her, write about her, or make her a companion/follower in your game

I have a PS4 and have yet to figure out how to transfer presets and save files for her if you make her as a companion.

Steven Universe blanket review

Hey guys, I just got my Garnet blanket and I wanted to give a little review and post some detailed photos. This way people can get a better idea of what these blankets are like, considering how expensive they are. I paid about $60 with tax for mine.

It comes in a plain plastic linens bag, nothing exciting here.

Obligatory Marceline photo, this is a twin sized bed for scale. Mar likes the blanket and gives it a 10/10.

The colors are really nice, it’s a good looking pic of Garnet.

Garnet close up

Here’s the back

It’s made out of that furry textured fabric that looks different when you slide your hand against the grain of it. It’s a nice texture.

The blanket is thinner than I expected but it’s very warm, and it’s a good size for one person to use on a couch. I like it, and so far I’m definitely glad I bought it.

My only concern would be washing it, because the colors are very intense and I’m not sure if they’d fade or run in a washing machine. The texture might also get messed up if you wash it.

OMG! Unbelievable makeup transformation

This Halloween day, supermodel Heidi Klum metamorphosed into cartoon character Jessica Rabbit – the voluptuous wife of Roger Rabbit. The 42-year-old Victoria’s Secret model, known for her outlandish costume ideas, has transformed herself into an old woman, a chimp and a flayed human body in the past years; this year as well, she didn’t disappoint.

Her annual Halloween party in New York, attended by Hollywood stars and celebrities, draws huge attention every year.

The diligent Sports Illustrated model’s idea wasn’t a last-minute decision, but something she has been planning for weeks ahead of the event. Four weeks back, she shared photos on Instagram showing her body covered in plaster, offering a sneak peek of her costume to her millions of followers.

Two days back, she uploaded some photos and videos, detailing her stages of transformation from a svelte beauty to a buxom redhead. It took hours for her designer team from Prosthetic Renaissance, to make her look like Jessica, whose physique is a stark contrast from that of Heidi’s.

Fake boobs, fake derriere, fake lips and fake eyelashes completed Heidi’s transformation, and her creativity and attention to detail have put the rest of the celebrity costumes to shame.

The Project Runway judge, who split from ex-husband R&B singer Seal in 2012 after seven years of marriage, is currently dating Vito Schnabel, an art dealer based in New York. She has four children – three from her relationship with Seal (Henry,Johan and Lou Sulola Samuel) – and a daughter (Helene Klum), with Flavio Briatore, the Italian managing director of Renault’s Formula One team, whom she dated before Seal.

Ohhhhh, so exciting, can’t wait for this movie!

By the way, this drawing is based on the first cast photo of Suicide Squad movie, as you can see, there are some details on that photo I can’t see, for example, Katana and Enchantress’s costume, so some parts of their costume in this picture are based on my imagination.
