Today in history: October 13, 1970 - Angela Davis arrested by the FBI in New York after a massive national hunt for her, including being put on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List. President Nixon called her a terrorist. She was then tried - and acquitted - of involvement in Jonathan Jackson’s August 1970 armed takeover of a Marin County, CA courtroom in attempt to free the Soledad Brothers (which included George Jackson).
