Yuna Kim (Team S.Korea)
Even though she said that she’s not focusing on defending her title, the reigning Olympic gold medalist is competing in her 2nd Olympics. She is a 2-time World champion, the 2009 Four Continents champion, a 3-time Grand Prix Final champion, and a 6-time South Korean national champion. She is also the current record holder for the scores in the short program, long program and combined total. She has not finished off the podium in her entire career.

He is the first ever Filipino to have qualified for the Olympics in figure skating and also the lone representative of the Philippines to Sochi.

I’m so proud of him and I can’t wait to watch his performance (I am wishing with all my heart that he reaches the long program segment). Go Pinoy!!

Julia, known for her flexibility and jumps, is competing at her first Olympics at the young age of 15. She is the 2014 European champion, the 2013 Grand Prix Final silver medalist, and a two-time Russian national silver medalist. She holds the record for the youngest woman to win the European title.

He is the 2012 World bronze medalist, 2-time Four Continents silver medalist, 2-time Grand Prix Final medalist (gold for 2013, silver for 2012), 2013 Trophee Eric Bompard silver medalist, 2012 NHK gold medalist, 2011 Rostelecom gold medalist, 2012 Skate America silver medalist, 2013 Skate Canada silver medalist, 2-time Finlandia gold medalist and 2-time (current) Japanese champion.
