“L-O-V-E” - Koine and Lex

This dance is so adorable! I loved Lex and Koine’s acting in this and the comedic timing in Al’s choreography was amazing. I love how technical this is while also being an extremely entertaining and character driven dance.

The beginning where they first see each other with Koine scratching and Lex dropping the pizza and falling in the door was hilarious. I also really liked the characters of girl and pizza man in general for this dance. It was really different and made for some really specific character moments. Their facial expressions though out this dance were perfect and I loved the over exaggeration of everything. The faces they pulled really added to the characters and story. Their chemistry was really amazing as well and I liked how we’ll they fit together here. Koine’s technique in this routine was wonderful and she made everything look classy and smooth and I also liked how Lex had this kind of hip hop classical mix to his technique with the breaking in the beginning and then some of the more casual moments throughout. I really loved that entire section after at 1:10 after they leave the couch. It was so full of technical elements and showed off a lot of their dancing abilities.

Al didn’t hold back on these two! I loved everything about this routine. It was perfect for Lex and Koine, and really let their personalities, and performing and dancing abilities shine.
