so when we first see him in s3

Shit went down- Even and John Lenonns “imagine”

This was a really wild clip!
But let’s be honest, it was also the biggest gift to see Even and Isak singing on stage together!

Thanks to @skamfairy  and @grilledisak for helping me!! you are my heros!

Here are my thoughts to this scene:

We saw a girl singing before Even, and it was pretty much in the background, still very noisy, people are chatting and not really listening to her.

When Even goes on stage and the melody of “imagine” starts, everything gets calmer and not just Sana’s interest shifts onto stage, but everybody else’s - and I think, in this moment it isn’t just a POV thing, but reality.
What does this mean? My thought is that Julie wants us to see, that after all Even has been going through, he is in a situation where he is “heard” - people like him, he found new friends, people listen to him, he is seen, not just by his close friends but by everyone! And this is so important for Even! As I am pretty sure, due to his bipolar disorder and due to what we know about Bakka and what happened back then, Even must have felt misunderstood and NOT seen for who he is, very often in his life (and still does - sometimes).

So, why is he singing “Imagine”, one of the most peaceful songs ever?

Starting with the first sentences “imagine there’s no heaven” followed by “no hell below us” and “Imagine all the people living for today…”
The “hell” reminds me of what Yousef told Sana, that Even wrote some stuff on a fb page about “people going to hell” when they are gay… and it’s the moment when he looks up to Isak, like to assure himself, that he is not going to hell just because he loves this gorgeous boy and Isak is nodding, agreeing! It’s good! After all it’s good for Even…

Then there is coming the lyrics “living for today”, that does remind me about the “minute for minute” theme. Also, living in the now- don’t look back! The Evak theme!

But now it gets intense; The “balloon squad” comes in, and Even sees them.

He struggles with the lyrics and it’s Isak who immediately jumps up and helps him (I could write 2 pages just about this but I keep it short for now). Isak is there when Even struggles and Isak catches up at the parts “Nothing to kill or die for- And no religion too”.

Nothing to kill or die for - Even tried to kill himself after the Bakka incident, and this is the moment when Even sees the balloon squad entering! Coincidence? I don’t think so… but now there is Isak. Isak, who stands next to Even and helps him at this moment - but also Isak, who helped Even the last time he wanted to die (S3- O Helga natt). So Isak sings the first lyrics and Even follows him… and then the “magic” happens - it’s not just Isak who helps, it’s also the boy squad. We can see Magnus (Magnus, whose mother is also bipolar) initiating the whole boy squad singing the chorus loud. And not just the boy squad - everybody in the room does! We see all the people smiling, singing, hugging, kissing- everything is so peaceful!

So this song is such an “Even” song- and all we learned about him so far is, that he is a really peaceful character. When he was talking to Sana about his past, you could see how scared and hurt he was, but even then, he asked about the boys, his former friends, he still cares for them. His face softens, his body is relaxing. Even is a peaceful and caring person. This song IS Even.

But of course, that’s not everything- I think it is also “foreshadowing”- there is tension, there are struggles! We learn this right after the “Imagine" scene- when there is a fight between the boy squad and the balloon squad (it’s not a coincidence that we don’t see Even fighting- he is the peaceful person, remember). But I am pretty sure it was about Even (The boys and Isak aren’t that kind of guys who fight for themselves but for their friends- in this case Even!). We see “shit goes down” right after everything was so good and peaceful.

But, I also think, it’s Evens peaceful heart (and Sanas) that will bring everything into place- this song is a message to the fans, that even when shit goes down, it will be good in the end! It will be good for Even but it also will be good for Sana and everybody else who struggles this season! I still believe that Even is Sanas mirror (I made a huge post about this with @skamfairy here) - and that whatever closure we will get, it will connect the both of them. Sana is the person that this songs fits at well as Even.

when you came to the end of this post and really read everything- i am impressed! sorry for making it sooolong!! love ya’ll! and peace!

Lotor & Kuron Theory

I would first like to start this off by saying this: when ever I mention Lotor in this theory, and how he’s helping voltron, every ounce of it is simply based off of my perception of how his character functions and how he reacts to situations and in no way a way of me implining that I want/Lotor deserves a redemption arc, because he simply doesn’t. All of this motivations for joining voltron in any shape or form is simply for his own benefit and out of preservation, which is exactly why this theory makes sense and works out.

This theory is also something that makes sense to me, simply because of Lotor and other character dynamics, and how the clone theory is tied to them and how it would make for a really interesting and cool story line, but I doubt that something this complex could be canon considering how the show runners have been handling the situation, but I so think something along these lines may possibly occur.

Anyways, to start it off simply: Lotor knows that “Shiro” is a clone.

There’s a lot of logic to go with this, considering that Lotor was the makeshift emporer of the galra empire in s3, which is when Shiro first returned. Being the place holder for emporer, there’s 95% chance that lotor knew what was going with the cloning process, and the 5% is if, simply, haggar didn’t tell him, but that makes no sense.

In s3 ep6, we see lotor and voltron face off. Lotor directs an attack at voltron whole a cargo ship is trying to escape with the commit. Lotor comments that voltron will most likely go after the cargo ship instead of him, and that they will be able to land an attack. While this is being explained, Keith suggests going after Lotor, while shiro suggests this:

Which is putting Voltron right where Lotor wants them, meaning that lotor was probably aware of the situation, and that he was confident enough to base his entire attack onto this possibility.

So. lotor knows about the clone, and if hes gonna join voltron for his own self preservation, there’s two ways that Lotor’s gonna approach the situation that I see as very likely, which are:

  1. Walk in and straight up kill the clone bitch
  2. Gain everyone’s trust and tell the team member who is most suspicious of Shiro

Lets start with the first theory:

This is likely considering the way that he reacted when finding out that Narti was a spy, which was take out the root of the problem, but this would be highly dangerous.

He will most likely meet resistance by team voltron and not gain any of their trust, and considering that he’s outnumber 7 or 8 (depending on whether or not keith is present) to 1, its not a logical stradegity and will not work out best for him, but might simple happen because of anxiety and paranoia

The second theory is the most logical one to happen, as lotor will probably be brought onto the ship with Shiro’s support, shiro claiming the reasoning as lotor knowing an abundant amount of knowledge about the galra empire- including future plans, bases, and trade routes. This logical explanations about using lotor as a resource will most likely go through with very little resistance bc of how logical it seems and how lotor is simply trying to survive, so it wouldn’t benefit him to lie

Lotor’s goal to get rid of the clone shiro would be tto gain the trust of one of the team members slowly, and then bring forth evidence and information about shiro being a clone, and the last known location that he has of the real shiro.

The most likely candidates to that Lotor will try to convince are Keith and Lance

Keith has the closest relationship with Shiro out of everyone, having a relationship that is considered brotherly, and there’s no way that Shiro’s odd behavior and decisions haven’t gone unnoticed by Keith, so lotor trying to inform him about the clone makes a lot of sense

Keith is also a good person for lotor to go to because of their heritage. Also bc at nycc the creators of the show said something along the lines of lotor being about to connect with Keith easily.

But Keith is also a very hard target at the same time, considering how he has trust issues. Also, when taking I’m the fact of Keith’s living arrangements, Lotor might not have any access to Keith at all, as lotor would be on the castle of lions the entire time for easy access to information and servaliance, and Keith would be with the blade.

But in the chance that Keith returns to the castle of lions, then Lotor could easily inform Keith about the situation and gain his trust.

With Keith knowing about clone shiro, he also has several possible approaches that seem likely:

He’ll either run off to the last location of shiro by himself, or he’ll take a trusted team mate with him who would have faith in his decisions and would also help him emotionally & just over all trust and support him.

Aka: Keith goes on a solo mission to the location, or he and lance go together

Lance has shown to trust in keiths decisions as a leader, and out of all the paladins besides Shiro, who isn’t apart of the equation, has the closes emotional connection

In season 3 lance has been seen to be Keith’s impulse control. He has also been described as Keith’s stability and his right hand man, which makes this the perfect situation for this relationship to come back into play, because not only does lance support keith, but Keith trusts and supports Lance as well.

But keith is extremely impulsive and rash, being the kind of person who follows his heart and instincts more than his head, so the possiblity of a solo mission is very likely, especially considering how emotional the situation is.

Considering this it is also possible that Keith would straight up fight Shiro, but I feel as if keith wouldn’t do that simply because there’s always the possibility that lotor was misinformed, and that rushing in and fighting Shiro would be emotionally damaging at some level.

NOW onto the Lance section of the post:

This post shows how Lance is the closest paladin to figuring out that shiro is a clone. Lotor would most likely notice this suspicision, as he is a very observant and analytical character, and making Lance the easiest target to convince that shiro is a clone

There are several different ways that lance can handle the situation:

  1. Lance tells everyone using the evidence provided by lotor
  2. Lance tells Keith, causing him to go on a solo mission and for lance to stay there and try to figure out what to do with the clone
  3. Lance tells Keith and they work together to go to the location provided

The first plan I could see happening is because of Lance’s personality, and how he has a deep need to protect friends and people, so he would want to tell everyone as soon as possible.

He would most definetly try to convince everyone verbally, but there is a high probability of him getting laughed off or no one taking him seriously, which is why he would turn to Keith in the other situations, because Keith appreciates his input.

Speaking of the other possibilities: they are very similar to the ones before for Keith, but are also different simply because of who initiated the clone theory.

Keith has been one of the few people to listen to Lance’s suggestions and plans as a leader, which is something that he doesnt get in other relationships

Having lance hang back and keith go on the mission allpws for several things, all depending on the arrangements that theyre living in, which if Keith is still with the blade, lower suspicision of lance catching on, as he is still present at the castle.

It also allows for both of them to be in their natural element: combat & communication

It allows for lance to have time to convince his team mates that shiro is a clone, or to add a bit of suspicion into their hearts, while Keith is able to go and find the real shiro

This plan is very risky, though, as Keith has no backup behind him and the only people that know would be lance and lotor, and from the way I see it, lotor is most likely not permitted to leave the castle, so if he gets badly hurt, he can only have one person go and save him.

Having lance and keith go on a solo mission will cause suspicsion, but is also the safest plan as it allows for both of them to have immediate back up if the plan goes haywire, but will result with the greatest amount of evidence.

Isak eats really unhealthy! While his friends are all eating sandwiches at school he'll eat a bun or a Norwegian waffle. Like boy should not be living by himself, lol. I'm glad even makes him eggs for breakfast. And I wonder if even is good at cooking in general. At least he seems to be taking charge in the kitchen so far. I have a feeling Isak is the kind to just grab a handful of cereal out of the box before

FO’ REAL!! I doubt Isak has had a balanced meal since he ran away from home! And he may very well grab cereal from the box, assuming he has any at home, either way he’s probably forgotten to buy milk.

Even is definitely more interested in cooking than Isak, and given that he has some seasoning tricks to make the food taste better, I imagine he has some culinary talents as well. Isak however, I doubt could cook to save his own life! At least this is what empiric data tells me…

Because of course me being the weirdo I am, I’m physically incapable of speculating about stuff like this without researching and getting all the facts™ first, so I’ve gone through all the times (that I could remember) we’ve seen Isak eating and compiled some data.

In the words of Isak: NU KÖR VI~

We don’t really know anything about Isak’s eating habits at home (in S1). And aside from Even, the only one who’s made food for Isak is Eva. When they were at Jonas’ cabin she made them pasta and tomato sauce

She also treated him to a coffee at one point (not food but still!).

I didn’t remember seeing Isak eat anything in particular in S2, so let’s skip onto S3….

First time we see Isak eating in S3, is the bun you mentioned. We see him tearing the raisin out of the bun, which tells me this is one of those semi-sweet raisin buns. They are delicious but not exactly healthy. (somewhat related: after close inspection I’m 95% sure these are raisin buns with CARDAMOM ❤︎).

Next time we see him eating it’s the cheese toast with ALL THE SPICES and ketchup that Even made him. Not exactly balanced food, but alright for a midday snack imo?

Unfortunately I doubt Isak finished it… when their datehangout got interrupted by guests, you see Isak look down dejectedly at his toasts and tap his thumb against his leg. :( Once Sonja is introduced I imagine Isak made himself scarce.

When Even spends the weekend at Isak’s after Halloween, they must have eaten something. The flatmates didn’t see either of them until Sunday, supposedly, but the mug Even puts ash in suggests to me that Isak probably sneaked out and made them sandwiches & cocoa or smth (that or the mug was already in his room… but one entire day, they’d have to eat) at some point.

Isak isn’t really great at getting breakfast either. That Sunday he literally opens the door, gets asked about Even by Noora and Eskild, and then closes the door again. Wonder how long it took for him to dare venture out… boy must have been starving!

After the painful ‘breakup’ when Isak wasn’t sleeping well, I can’t imagine he was eating so great either. Especially not if you consider the sad sad toast he got from the canteen. One toast with only cheese, it seriously looks just as tired as Isak does!

Of all the foods Isak has bought, the kebab he ate with Jonas is definitely among the healthiest. I imagine he spends most of his allowance/the money his dad sends on snapbacks (he can’t have borrowed all of them!), beer and eating fast food.

Luckily, if it’s down to Even Isak gets to eat a sturdy breakfast. And that’s good considering how Isak hardly seems to be able to get himself breakfast at the flat. (does he even have any food there?) I imagine that Even realized this when he stayed over the previous time, and simply decided to take matters into his own hands, with a little help from the Noora (and Eskild), making Isak scrambled eggs after staying over the second time.

Isak doesn’t join the guys for pizza… but on Friday, Isak waits for Even at the KB. I only saw a coffee cup though, so who knows if he had anything to eat there? Once again Even makes sure they get some food, ordering burgers and champagne (and what looks like cakes? fancy smørbrød?) at the hotel. Isak doesn’t exactly lack appetite at that point ;)

We don’t know what or how he ate the days after… but on Tuesday, we’re back to Isak’s classic diet. He gets a waffle. The guy doesn’t even put jam or anything tasty on it (except whipped cream?). idk what is up with Nissen’s canteen, but stuff looks plain af. (I feel for norwegianall kids who are forced to pay for or bring their own school lunches….)

Now last food Isak prepared (as I am writing this) was a ready-made frozen Grandiosa pizza, which can hardly be considered cooking. And it wasn’t even his (he doesn’t have any food at the flat does he…).

In conclusion (TL;DR):

I doubt Isak knows how to cook. I’m CERTAIN he maintains a horribly unhealthy diet ever since he ran away from home. And I’m hoping that Even’s cooking skills extend beyond breakfast and sandwiches, but honestly I’m fairly certain it does? Even seems comfortable enough in a kitchen to figure it out and make them some healthy food. So with Even in his life…

Hallelujah Isak is saved!!

Top 5 of 2.20

Clace at the party: So when I watched the first time I was slightly disappointed because I really wanted them to be completely happy after everything but when re watched with all expectations gone I realized how great this scene is. Something was off when Jace the entire party sequence. I really like that Clary immediately picked up on it. Jace tried his best to reassure her that everything was okay but you could tell by the way she was looking at him in that last frame before Luke showed up that she’s concerned. I hope we see this continue in S3 & she picks up on  whatever is going on.

Clary Freaking Fray: Now if you know me you Jace is my all time favorite & always will be but I love Clary. Through the course of S2 I have struggled with her because something was always holding her back from reaching the full blown heroine. In this episode she completely surpassed everything I can possibly want from the lead of the show. She’s compassionate & loyal but when you cross her she will kick your ass & not apologize The fight scene with Valentine was brutal but beyond amazing. Katherine McNamara killed it in this episode. You felt every single thing Clary felt & it was epic.

Clace vs the Circle: So after the traitor is revealed he decides to would be great to hold Clary & Jace down & chop their heads off. Dom & Kat were great in this scene. You could feel the fears coming off them in waves as they just looked at each helplessly. Thankfully Jace was able to activate his powers & we got to see them kick ass together. I love how they ran to each other after. Its great that we have finally got to this point in there relationship & everything that happens between them is so emotionally charged

Jace’s death: The entire sequence from the moment Valentine stabbed Jace until Clary makes her wish was the best & most emotional thing the show has do so far. Jace apologizing to Clary & using his last breathe to tell her he loves her nearly broke my soul. I love that they gave focus to both Alec & Clary. They are the two most important people to Jace who were the most impacted by his death. Bravo to Dom, Matt, Kat & Alan who were all amazing. Clary crying over Jace’s body begging him to to leave her had be sobbing.

I don’t want anything else in the world: So of course Clary wishes for Jace & he is brought back. It kinda hurt my heart that Jace was so floored that anyone would choose him over everything. I also loved that he literally woke up asking Clary if she was okay. I am so beyond happy that they used a direct quote from the books. It was everything. You could feel Clary’s joy in this scene & that kiss was beyond words. It was so soft & pure. This is the moment I have been longing for between them. It was emotional & you could feel how much they mean to each other. I couldn’t ask for more

Sherlocked report #10. At the cocktail party our group talked to Steven Moffat and apparently he is writing a play at the moment! He has no idea if it will ever see the light of day, but he’d never written a play before so decided to before him n Mark start properly writing Dracula to hone his writing a bit and just to give it a go. Sue said she’d read the first half and said it was good and really enjoyed it, but Steven of course played that down by saying ‘she’s my wife! Of course she has to say it’s good! !’ He said that him n Mark are going to go away on holiday to write Dracula scripts as that worked really well for s4 of Sherlock. We also talked to Jonathan Aris who says he’s auditioned for a part in Good Omens. He also said that his wife his Greek and limes him with a beard, the bushier the better. So she loved his beard in s3. When he dies have to shave for a part she covers her eyes when she first sees him and says it’s icky and where is her husband!! They sound like a great couple together. And then Mike Collins the storyboard artist for Sherlock (and Dr Who, I asked but he would give no info on the next series.) And he is doing the storyboarding for Good Omens too! Mike was a real charmer to talk with and said he absolutely loves his job even though the hours are terrible and the pay (especially from the BBC thanks to the government cuts) is not so good. But he gets to travel loads and meet loads of top actors and it’s his dream job. We also talked to Arwel who said that he started out in the business as runner and he was going to go into the directing side of things, but decided that he loved that artistic side and got into the art production instead and has never looked back. I asked him what his job would be if he’d never gotten into showbiz and he said he’d have been a carpenter as he loves working with wood, but it just doesn’t pay well at all. He’s very happy in his current line of work and hopes to stick with it till he retires. That’s all I can remember at the mo, and it’s bedtime for Nixxie so I’m not too exhausted in the morning!

An analysis of Keith and Lance’s relationship from s2 to s3

OKAY SO. I saw some posts that made me rethink some things about Klance.

This post is going to focus solely on Lance and his view of Keith and how that has shifted from s2 to s3, and before I really go in depth I’m just gonna lay out the main bullet points this is going to cover.

  • Shipping goggles prevented us from seeing Lance’s shift in attitude toward Keith in s2 for what it really was, the beginnings of Lance starting to like Keith as a person, truly value him as a team member, and not thinking of Keith solely as his rival.
  • Lance still thinks of Keith as a rival in the beginning of s3
  • Lance (probably) has some romantic feelings for Keith in s2 but they’re so small and he’s so distracted he just hasn’t noticed.

guys i know i’m not hype

i’m really sorry. i know in the run up to S3 i’ve been kinda… meh about everything, i’m not really excited, i haven’t really posted much, i’ve responded to asks with squidward memes… i know. i’m sorry.

it’s just that… Shiro is my favourite character. hands down, no question. by a significant margin. for lots of reasons, but first and foremost because he reminds me so much of myself and he’s just really really important to me as someone who deals with mental illness and the aftermath of trauma on a daily basis.

and with everything coming out about season 3 i’m forced to consider the very real possibility that i might have to sit through an entire season without him. my absolute nightmare scenario is that S3 has no Shiro at all - or just a few brief Shiro flashbacks - or we don’t see Shiro until right at the end when we get a 5 second shot of him waking up or some bullshit like that. and everything that’s come out about S3 so far points towards this nightmare scenario as a likely outcome. the fact that this season is so short (only 7 episodes) and all the hype and marketing around Keith being in the Black Lion and then the Netflix promo with Allura in Blue… all of this suggests that Shiro won’t be around AT ALL.

i could honestly deal better with this if i had some kind of confirmation or reassurance from the VLD crew that yes, Shiro is the only true Black Paladin and yes, he will eventually be back with the team piloting the Black Lion, we just have to wait and see how he gets back to them, but he’s definitely going to be back and this is all just temporary in his absence… but i don’t have that. Shiro’s character died in Old Voltron, and that makes the constant tease about “will Shiro make it this time?!?!?” really anxiety-inducing, because in the back of my mind i’m always thinking that the show might decide to do what Old Voltron did and permanently remove him so that other characters can shuffle around in the Lions and take over his role. and that makes it really hard to get excited about season 3 in general.

i want to be excited. i wish i could be excited. i want to get hyped up about Allura flying a Lion - i don’t think it’s a bad thing! it will probably be really cool! we’ll get to see a different side of her! and i want to get hyped up about Lotor and his lady generals - they look badass! i want to know their story! and the Blade of Marmora still being around (LOVE YOU KOLIVAN YOU GRUMPY BASTARD) and maybe Slav still hanging out in the Castle and the possibilities for angst and character growth in Shiro’s absence… i want to be excited. really. i see everyone else getting amped up about it and i’m happy for them and i wish i could feel that same buzz

but i just… i can’t. i just can’t. Shiro is gone and i don’t know if i’ll get to see him again at all or if i’ll have to wait until October to even find out what happened to him and the team might well move on without him and i’ll have to sit there and watch someone else fly his Lion and take over his role and feel like the ground is crumbling under me because no matter what they say about him being “irreplaceable” HE’S GETTING REPLACED, and just typing that is giving me anxiety… i can’t. i can’t be excited about any of this stuff.

i can’t find it within myself to get excited about the S3 hype when it comes at the cost of Shiro being gone.

i don’t begrudge other people their excitement, honestly - i am happy for you. and i know i’m not objective about this, and i’m heavily biased, and i know this is completely irrational but: when i see people celebrating the lion switching and Paladin!Allura and Keith in the Black Lion and all the rest of it… it feels like people are celebrating Shiro being gone. and i know that’s not what people are doing - i get it, absolutely. that’s not what it is and people don’t mean it like that - but it feels like that, to me, in my scarred and battered heart. and it makes me salty and bitter and crabby and mean and petty.

so i’m sorry if i’ve been a bit off with people and i’m sorry for the salt and i’m sorry that i don’t have gushing excitement to offer you. i’m sorry i can’t join in with the hype over Paladin!Allura and i’m sorry that my response to asks has been so… meh. i’m not mad that other people are excited - please! be excited! don’t let my downer mood ruin the hype for you if you’re pumped about what’s coming and there’s things you’re looking forward to see it.

i just can’t share in that excitement right now. not until i know Shiro’s coming back.

So I keep thinking about Jane’s hair, or more specifically, how long it is when Weller finds her in Nepal. And yes, it’s a quick visual cue to remind us that two years have passed. But I think it’s more than that. I think it’s also a cue to Jane’s mental state and sense of self.

In all the flashbacks to her life as Remi, we see Jane with long, straight hair. Given that in the present her hair has generally been depicted as curly or wavy, it appears that Remi took pains to straighten and style her hair, which suggests that maybe it was a source of pride or vanity for her– and given the rather austere life she seems to have led, possibly her only one.

We see a rather significant moment in season two when Jane cuts her hair. It is at a time when she is being pulled in multiple directions: Her new-found family wants her to return to the fold and help them carry out their plans, while her team at the FBI distrusts her but needs her to gather the intel they need to stop Sandstorm. Jane is always acting, and to some degree, is losing her sense of self. So cutting her hair is a symbolic statement– she is choosing to visually identify herself as Jane rather than Remi, both to herself and to those around her.

When we see Jane in Nepal, she has long hair. And yeah, there probably aren’t a lot of hairdressers around there. But she probably could have found a pair of scissors or even hacked it off with a knife if she had really wanted to. So why didn’t she want to?

We were given clues at the end of season two that she was worried about Remi coming back. “What if it’s only a matter of time before I become like that?” We see Kurt reassuring her, but we don’t get the sense that she believed Remi was gone forever. So I think that Jane’s longer hair implies that she has given up fighting Remi to some degree. She hasn’t become Remi again, but she’s given up trying to separate herself from Remi.

And I think that has something to do with why she’s there, thousands of miles away from home and Weller. At the end of season two, he is the one person in the world she feels truly connected to. Her brother is gone from her life. The FBI team is dealing with their own issues. Jane wouldn’t have left Weller (especially knowing what he went through when Taylor disappeared) for a frivolous reason. But she might have left him if she felt that she was somehow dangerous to him, that there was some aspect of Remi inside her that she could not control. If she felt she could only protect him by not only leaving him, but by not telling him where she was going. And it’s not like she just moved to a new town; she deliberately put herself somewhere far away from anything or anyone she knew or cared about, and apparently subjected herself to a grueling physical regimen. Trying to exorcise the ghost of Remi?

(Side note: I am also wondering now if this might have been the real purpose of giving Weller a child in S2. Because he wouldn’t have taken any threat to himself, as an Assistant Director of the FBI, to be a serious danger and might have been able to talk Jane out of any fears she had. But throw his child into the mix? Have him worried for her safety? Have Jane worry that her presence in his life is putting a complete innocent at risk? Yeah, that could definitely be enough to push her to run away.)

So when S3 starts, Jane has long hair, but it’s not Remi’s carefully groomed style. And I think it will be interesting to watch how she handles it when she returns to civilization. I think the long hair will stay at first, as she wrestles with her sense of self and where she belongs in this world. But at some point, I suspect we will see another symbolic hair cutting, as she fully resumes her place as Jane Weller.

Hi!! Were you able to see the backlash of s2 when it first released a couple of months ago? Lol similarly a lot of us were very disappointed and I think with good reason since Lance (along with hunk) was very much reduced to more background scenes and gag jokes…however we have been hinted to that Lance and hunk will contribute bigger roles in s3 so we are holding onto that hope. As for Lance getting hurt emotionally I personally hope that doesn’t happen tbh hahah? Like I definitely want to see the show expanding on lances insecurities and weaknesses because it makes him so human and more like able imo but I don’t want to see him hurt just wanna see him happy and working together with the paladins …really could not agree more that he’s a pretty complex character and deserves more credit than he gets though!☺️

anonymous asked:

Can we all agree that RLT looks more handsome with This new hair style for oswald, or is just me? He looks so... Extra

I’m sorry but WE CANNOT! This hairdo looks terrible according to me. I’m sorry but just nope. I miss his perfectly volume hair from season 1. My least fav before this was his early season 2 you know all plain stuck to his head with no volume, but this beats it, god it looks like one of those troll dolls. I can’t believe. On the first pics we got a while back it looked at least like he had it properly pushed back a bit but now I just whaaat. Me, okimi and riddlelvr has names for many of Oswald’s hairdo’s even because it’s a subject we often bring up. Man, okimi even made Ed cum on Oswalds early s2 hair for me in a fic because I thought it was so bad lmao. Oswald’s hair is important! But hopefully it will look better ofc when the actual episodes come and we see him in action, compared to see just behind the scenes mobile pictures. I accepted Ed’s s3 hair more when I saw it in action than from the first behind the scenes pics. Buut ofc this is all MY opinions obsv and anyone are free to like whichever Oswald hairdo they want, so well good for you anon that you enjoy the new hairdo, and I hope for my own sake I will accept it more later :P But nothing will beat s1.

Now HERE are some quality Oswald hairdos. The first two Roadtrip Hair™ and HelloFish Hair™ are my all time favs ♥

i understand when people say that it was really weird for lance to take over the red lion but

allura piloting blue! she never explicitly said what the blue lion’s traits are! they could apply to her as well and we would have no idea. blue knew that allura had to be her pilot and, unfortunately, to do that she had to kick lance out.

the red paladin is supposed to be highly skilled and go off of their instincts, and right in the beginning in the first episode of s3 we see that lance has improved a whole lot from the first time he piloted blue. lance has refined his skills and gotten a lot better. he’s come a long way.

and we see that lance is a very good leader! he clearly has a bond with keith– we see it in a lot of different ways, in s3 more clearly than any other season. he’s able to keep keith in check (the paladin of the red lion) and comfort him when he lashed out. the red lion is the fastest and the most agile, able to keep up with the leader, the leader’s right hand man, so i think it does make sense for him to take over red! allura even compares lance to her father and says so right as red calls for lance!

So, yesterday there was some new information about Even’s past and we see the whole Evak’s story in a different light. Many fears were hidden behind Even’s smile and maybe he smiled only with Isak and when they turned away from each other, Even went home and his fears were devouring him, he was not Even at all… And it was so hard for him to make the first step in the relationship with Isak, he could be rejected for the second time and he definitely would commit a suicide. So, Even had a great war inside his mind and soul which not everyone could cope with.
After Even’s message to Isak (s3, ep9) I had a suggestion that it was a suicide note but now I’m sure in it. Because Even was completely destroyed, the past didn’t release him, he had bipolar disorder because of which Isak could break up with him leaving Even alone. Again. He also could hate Even what is Even worse.
Fortunately, the end was completely different but at that time Even didn’t even believe in a happy end.
The most beautiful thing in this story is that Isak and Even found each other when they needed someone’s protection, support, and understanding, so they literally saved each other’s lives. This makes their relationship stronger and warmer. Nothing can destroy their spiritual connection because there are only two in the universe of Isak and Even

So the 2017 SDCC is over. What were things you liked and disliked about the Flash news for this season? Any other stuff from the Flash crew?

I like that it’s going to be lighter, and I like that Candice seems excited for whatever she’s up to. I’m excited for a little more Cynthia and to meet her dad, and glad Cecile’s sticking around. Obviously I highly dislike that we won’t get Iris as a reporter, but I’m gonna just let the chips fall where they may at this point.

Mostly I was happy to see that the cast can and does get along well for the most part. And that they’re so lowkey, no fandom-wide drama was caused by their words.

I think GG looking out for CP on a professional standpoint has been very consistent and shows that they respect each other as co-workers. CP once mentioned that 1x15 was hard to film due to the cold weather and the wind turbine blowing in her face. She said she looked at GG for direction. Then 2x13, she confirmed that she was nervous doing the wall kiss and GG reassured her by telling her to keep going. I’m glad they’re our Barry and Iris.

Totally agree. It’s obvious he’s got her back professionally speaking, and that she looks up to him and respects him.

Looks like the cast and crew of the last full measure are in Thailand right now filming. They got there yesterday. IMDB lists Grant’s role as now being played by Jeremy Irvine. It seems that filming was indeed delayed and filming of the Vietnam scenes of the young soldiers that were supposed to be shot in Costa Rica never happened.

Ouch. Now I wonder if Grant really was expecting not to come back as Barry for a while, and was thus disappointed when the filming was moved back for the movie but not for the show. You’re right, though, Grant’s not listed on the IMDB page anymore :|

Ya know i kinda wish we got to see more leader keith before they switched back. Like s3 made him taking over as the black paladin look really interesting (especially that last fight when he did The Move™ like wrow scoob) and it was cool seeing his flaws mix in with his leadership so he had to consult the team sometimes and finally get some of the emotional support that he’s obviously needed. It made it feel like they were actually kinda bonding and keith was opening up just a little bit. Idk i just think him being leader would’ve been a nice plotline to continue into s4

I want more Greg in S4.

I mean, he was so terribly unappreciated in S3 that my heart is bleeding. How did he feel during MHR, between S2 and S3? He seems so totally unmoved when he speaks to John or Anderson. Rationalising. Is is his reaction to losing Sherlock, his protection against the world, or Sherlock simply not being important enough?

What did he do after he met Sherlock alive? Got stoned? Smoked the whole packet of cigarettes? Forced Sherlock to explain the thing to him? Or maybe he just didn’t let go of him for, like, five minutes? I can’t believe that a man who is so emotional about things, so normal, just accepted the fact that his friend was alive again, all of a sudden.

What was he doing during the wedding, apart from making an idiot out of himself and drinking? Did he notice anything weird about Sherlock? For God’s sake, in the first episode he had already known him for 5 years (if I remember correctly what he says). I don’t know how long S1 and S2 took together but let’s say, 2 years. And 2 years between S2 and S3 so 9 years. I know they don’t think Lestrade brilliant but he’s not an idiot either, otherwise Sherlock wouldn’t like to work with him (and he does). After 9 years you know a man well enough, even if he is Sherlock Holmes, to tell when something is wrong. And yet, we can see no involvement of his. He’s not the type to just let things slide like that.

Earlier, we also see him speaking with Molly about Sherlock being John’s best man, which suggests some sort of warmer relationship between them but we don’t know his reaction to Molly’s fiancé apart from looks. We know nothing about what has happened in his life when Sherlock was busy in Serbia and John was busy falling for Mary, and Molly was busy with Tom. I mean, he’s like an extra in S3. All he does is hanging around and going to pubs—in MHR and HLV as well. He’s not important in Magnussen’s manipulations or anything, even though he was important to Moriarty—so Sherlock holds him in high esteem and cares about him, despite what he might show outside.

We get the continuation of ‘Greg’s his name’ but no real involvement of Greg either. We don’t know if it’s a game between him and Sherlock or if Sherlock really doesn’t remember his name because it’s information of no relevance since he’s Lestrade. We don’t know his feelings about it. Is Sherlock irrelevant so he doesn’t care? Surely not. So?

He’s so badly 2D and left out in S3 that I want to cry. Not to mention that we know exactly nothing about his private life. We even know about Anderson and Donovan—but not Gregory Lestrade. Seriously?

I’ve always seen him as someone who cared so badly about Sherlock, who tried to keep him in check, someone who stuck around even when he was being constantly pushed away, who could be trusted, who was ready to protect, who guided Sherlock through the meanders of social life and kept others away from him when that was needed. Someone who wasn’t appreciated even though he did a lot. But that lack of appreciation was supposed to come from Sherlock himself, not from the writers!

Hey I love your blog! And all the tjlc commentary/meta is great! I'm just worried what's going to happen to the fandom after johnlock is confirmed? Being a part of the fandom has gotten me through a lot honestly, but what will happen when there's nothing more to be guessed at or speculated? If it becomes canon we no longer have the "conspiracy"... what then?

Hi Lovely!

Another follower also had a similar concern about a week back, so you can check out my response to them here.

But in a nutshell, with confirmed Johnlock, we will then have time to go back to past episodes and pick up the clues that we STILL haven’t caught yet. I am a firm believer that every season builds upon the foundations set in prior seasons: After I watched S3, my ENTIRE view of Sherlock’s character changed SO MUCH, and then I re-watched the series with that new information in mind and lo and behold, SHERLOCK WAS ALWAYS LIKE THAT, just through the lens of John’s POV, we see him as ethereal and mysterious. But with S3, we got to see how Sherlock really was, and therefore we picked up on the clues in S1 and 2 that he was ALWAYS like that – clues that JOHN OBVIOUSLY SEES but like us, HE MISSED THE FIRST TIME ‘ROUND.

So when we get info from S4, we can then go back and go “OMG!” That’s the beauty of this series – it’s constantly encouraging us to do our own detective work! It keeps us busy for literal YEARS.

Plus, we will have a wedding episode to start speculating on, AND guaranteed they will give us another puzzle for us to solve during the hiatus. :)
