so this is what i decided to do all day instead of doing my homework

College can be a lot sometimes. Over the past two years I’ve learned some helpful little tricks that help to keep me sane and on top of things, and it’s time I passed them on to all of you! Ahead in part one: scheduling classes, going to them, and homework. Be on the lookout for part two soon!

i. scheduling classes

  • Take a full load, but keep it balanced.
    • Don’t schedule all of the tough classes for one semester.
    • Also try to schedule it so that you will have a variety of homework (ie a mix of writing, tests, and worksheet focused classes)
  • Always speak to your advisor before scheduling classes.
  • Keep in mind that you will need time for homework and online classes when making your schedule.
    • Whether it means choosing not to have classes on certain days, putting a two hour break in between classes, or having all your classes in the afternoon so you can study in the mornings.
  • Keep in mind your personality when picking times.
    • 8AMs are rough. Unless you are the world’s biggest morning person, avoid them if you can.
  • Be sure to have a plan for eating meals!
    • Some schools will let you bring your lunch into class, but I prefer to have a break during lunch so I can relax while I eat.
  • Look at a map of campus when scheduling and try to schedule classes in the same building back-to-back, or at least near each other.

ii. classes

  • Never go to class without a bottle of water and a pen.
  • If it’s a workday and you’re given the option to leave class and work elsewhere, actually use that time to work.
  • Sit wherever you’re comfortable. A lot of posts say to sit up front, but I personally prefer to sit further back so that I can fidget without worrying about distracting others. Figure out what works for you.
  • After about the third class, seats might as well be assigned. Don’t move and throw everyone else off unless you really have to.
  • Always be respectful and kind to your teachers and classmates.
  • Make at least one friend in every class. You don’t have to be bffs, but chat with the person you sit beside before every class so that you have someone to study or share notes with if you need to.
  • If you need to fidget to pay attention, consider bringing a small container of Play-Doh with you to lectures (you may want to let your teacher know what’s up, they’ll almost definitly be cool with it).

iii. homework

  • Unlike high school, you really can’t skip homework. Instead of getting lots of small worksheets, your grade will be decided by a few bigger projects or papers. Try to stay on top of things!
  • Break larger projects up into smaller deadlines.
  • If a class has a lot of worksheets as homework, start a study group so that you can all work on them together.
  • Try to start homework as soon as you get it.
  • Don’t be afraid to ask from help from teachers, tutors, or classmates.
  • As soon as you get a syllabus, enter all of the due dates into your planner. If you wanna go the extra mile (hint: you do), go ahead and add in dates to start working on projects, too.
  • Work ahead so that you have the flexibility to hang out with your friends at the last minute, instead of being stuck in the library working on a project that’s due first thing in the morning.
  • Never plagiarize. It’s the fastest way to get kicked out of a class, or even a whole program. If you’re not sure if it needs a citation, it needs a citation.
  • The number one rule is simple: do all your work, and do it the best you can. As long as you follow that, you’ll be golden.

Happy studying, and be on the lookout for part two coming soon!

How to be good at interviews:

I’m having next Wednesday my first professional interview (eeeeek) so I decided to share the research I’m doing. I googled all of this and chose the information I found most important, and organized it. I truly hope it’s helpful for someone out there :)

PLAN AND PRACTICE:

  • always do your homework: learn about the organization, its ideas and story
  • don’t necessarily memorize responses, but try to have a planned general strategy for answering common interview questions
  • practice in front of the mirror
  • be ready to briefly describe related experience
  • compare your qualifications to what the organization wants from you

COMMON INTERVIEW QUESTIONS:

  1. What’s your biggest weakness? Think of a genuine issue you have as well as ways you have managed to work with/around it.
  2. What’s your biggest strengths?” Stand out from the crowd and don’t be afraid to speak about your strengths in an authentic and compelling way. See if your strengths align with the company’s needs.
  3. Why do you want this job?”/ “Why should we hire you?” Stay focused on why your background makes you an ideal candidate and tell them how you are going to contribute to that department and that company.
  4. Tell me about yourself.” Don’t tell them your life story, instead discuss what your interests are relating to the job and why your background makes you a great candidate.
  5. Why did you leave your last job/position/school?” Do not go into details about your dissatisfaction, tell them that while you valued the experience and education you received, you felt that the time had come to seek outo a new opportunity, expand your skills and knowledge, and to find a company with wich you could grow. Try to put a positive spin on things. Be honest if you were fired but don’t trash your previous boss.
  6. Where do you see yourself in five years?”  Be honest about what your greater aspirations are.

And much much much more (from your behaviour to work experiences, education, interests and motivation or problems and challeges you’ve faced previously), I would encourage you to try to write down some topics for each questions that work for you. Being prepared is everything.

THE DAY OF THE INTERVIEW:

  • sleep and eat well so you look rested and healthy on the big day
  • give yourself time to calm down/meditate/relax
  • don’t noodle around on your phone or electronic device while waiting - it may communicate boredom and frivolousness, maybe stick your notebook/notes

What to wear: normally it’s best to dress neutral, professionally/formal, not overly fashionable or trendy, and brightly colored clothing is bad. Make sure your clothes are neat and wrinkle free, and make sure your image is very clean and neat.

What to bring: if revelant, extra copies of your resume on quality paper, a notepad or professional binder and pen, information you might need to complete an application.

IMPORTANT TIPS:

  • make eye contact
  • show courtesy to everyone during the interview, this means everyone from the reception staff to the interviewer herself
  • smile
  • have good posture
  • avoid fidgeting too much or playing with your hair/touching face
  • have a good handshake
  • don’t cross your arms over your chest
  • walk, act, talk with confidence
  • be comfortable and relaxed
  • choose the words you say
  • don’t place stuff on their desk
  • manage your reactions - facial and body expressions give clues on how you feel: project a positive image
  • show interest and enthusiasm
  • show warmth and personality - being personable is about getting the interviewer’s emotional side to like you and believe in you
  • don’t lie to make it seem like you know something you don’t. You probably won’t fool your interviewer, and admitting to not know something is much more impressive than lying
  • be honest
  • keep things simple and short, talk in 30-90 second chunks. Any less and you’re likely to seem unqualified; any more and your interviewer is likely to lose interest in what you’re saying

THINK OF QUESTIONS TO ASK: participating actively during the interview gives a good impression of your level of interest in the job. Most of times it is more adequeate to ask in the end of the interview.  But I feel like you really need to make sure your questions are adequate. Examples:

  • “What types of training opportunities do you offer?”
  • “What are the chances for professional growth in this job opportunity?”
  • “Is there anything else I can provide you with that would be helpful?”
  • ALWAYS ask the “ When can I expect to hear back from you about the position?” question if  the interviewer does not tell you

Good questions are open-ended, and thus cannot be answered with a “yes” or “no.” Better questions are behavioral: they ask how things are done or have happened in the past, because current and past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior.

AFTER THE INTERVIEW:

  • shake hands with the interviewer - try to invest some feeling into the handshake and pleasantries, even if you think you bombed the interview
  • hold your head high and keep your cool
  • your emotions are probably teetering at the highest of highs or the lowest of lows, but try to stay measured
  • project a cool confidence, not cockiness, and walk out of the interview with your head held high

SOMETHING TO ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND:

  • when you know in your heart and your gut that you bring to the table something just as valuable as a paycheck and maybe much more – your tremendous experience, intellect and instinct – you’ll carry yourself differently. You won’t trip over your words in an effort to please His Majesty or Her Highness, because you’ll see yourself and the interviewer as equals on a level playing field.
  • you are valuable and unique. You have something very special in you and you deserve to be given a chance. good luck!

The obnoxious vibrations of your phone distract you from the splatter of paint that had you preoccupied for the past couple of hours.

You picked up your phone from your table, the light from it seemingly unpleasant as you typed in a quick response.

You [12:30] : Do you really want to go out that bad?

MusclePig™ [12:30]: I haven’t seen you in a week, my heart and dick are throbbing for you.

You threw your phone down on to your bed beside the hardwood table that you were seated on, silently laughing to yourself as you read his last message.

That’s definitely something Jungkook would say. Over the past couple of months you had gotten to know him better, the both of you often bonding over anime or stupid memes; sometimes just listening to each other as he babbled on about a new plot he had thought of.

You’d been avoiding going out with him over the past week, trying to focus on classes and the projects at hand. But Jungkook wouldn’t let you stay in this hermit hole that you had created for yourself.

MusclePig™ [12:31]: Pleasee~

You [12:33]: Pick me up in an hour.

“If that pen explodes in your mouth,” Dex says from the bathroom doorway, “I am not gonna feel bad for you.”

Derek startles–and does drop the pen out of his mouth–and looks up. “What?”

Dex cocks a brow at him, flicking off the bathroom light and flopping down on the hotel bed next to Derek’s. “You’ve had two pens explode in your mouth from chewing on them like that,” he says. His red hair is wet, tousled from where he must’ve run his hands through it after his shower, and he rolls onto his stomach, propping himself on his elbows to look at Derek. “What’re you glaring at, anyway?”

Walking into Midtown High, you cautiously grudge towards your locker in order to get your books for today’s classes.

These past few days have been strange, to say the least.

Despite it being almost the end of the school year and the hot weather finally arriving, you somehow felt cold to your bones.

Instead of wearing short sleeves and shorts, you started dressing in sweatshirts and pants.

Maybe I’m getting sick…?

Maybe it’s just the chills…?

You kept making excuses like that, but the coldness never seemed to go away.

It’s been happening for a couple weeks now, but you didn’t know what to do.

You didn’t know what this was.

Well, not until today.

: okay. :)

Putting my phone down on the table and continued doing my homework and writing papers for a paper that is due tomorrow.

Maybe taking AP classes is not a good a idea after all, but then again being an A+ student has its down sides. Going back to the task at hand I noticed it’s already 12:42 midnight and quietly scolding my for staying up late. Again.

I went to the bathroom and changed into your pj’s and went to bed but before darkness enveloped you your phone buzzed.

[ iMessage from Clay Jensen 12:54am ]
: you up??
: heyyy

[ iMessage from Clay Jensen 1:05am ]
: I’m sorry.

[ iMessage to Clay Jensen 1:06am ]
: its fine. Gotta go. Night clay and thnx.

I shut my phone off and threw it across the room, probably cracking the fucking screen but I don’t care anymore.

I cried the whole night. Crying myself to sleep with one thought in my mind.

The picture.

The picture of Justin making out with Jessica.

•••••• Next Day ••••••

I went to school in my usual cheerleader uniform and cheerleader jacket since It’s Monday and cheerleaders are supposed to wear their uniforms on Monday Wednesday and Fridays due to practices in between classes and after.

I walked to my locker in my sluggish pace not bothering saying hi to those who are trying ti struck a conversation with me. I completely ignored them.

I opened my locker and looked at the small mirror inside. My eyes were slightly puffy from crying and my nose was red. I looked…dead.

Ironically thats how I feel.

The calm walls of the halls of Liberty High was suddenly echoing with the noise of the jocks. I looked behind me and saw them making their signature entrance, laughing and pushing each other. I caught his eyes.

Those magnificent blue eyes that can break down my walls and knew me so well.

That smile that made my heart melt every time it pops up.

He patted on Zach Dempsey’s chest and walked towards me enveloping me in his arms. The arms that always made me feel safe.

I heard a series of ‘awe’ and ‘couple goals’ from the bystanders who…idolized our so called “relationship goals” . What a bunch of bullshits.

“Hey baby.” He went in to try and kiss me but I turned my head and instead kissed my jaw. He noticed my cold demeanor and frowned.

“Babe, y/n, hey what wrong?” He asked coolly but I sensed the tension and alarm in his voice.

“You tell me Justin.” I spoke coldly and noticed he visibly recoiled on my tone. He knows I’m mad because you called him by his first name. He immediately masked this with his calm facade but I know better.

“Okay okay, calm down. I’m in the dark here. C'mon baby, what’s wrong?” He asked again this time his voice cracking slightly. The bell rang and the students slowly dispersed to their respectful classrooms. Leaving me and him alone.

“How about this? We. Are. Done. Go back on sucking Jessica’s face you dickhead. Because from this day on, you and I? We are through.” I pushed him, slammed my locker shut and walked away.

“Babe.” He tried grabbing my arm but I dodged it and stepped away further.

“Baby please let me explain. Please I’m sorry. It was a mistake” He pleaded. Tears forming in his eyes.

“No. Stay away from me” I seethed. Blinking back the tears. I will not let him see me get hurt, he doesn’t deserve it. He doesn’t deserve my tears.

“Tell me, tell me please. I’ll do anything please. Just don’t leave me. Please I’m sorry. I was an asshole and was high that night please baby.” He did the most unexpected thing, he kneeled in front of me and hugged my legs.

“Babe, please I fucking need you. Please y/n don’t fucking leave me please.” Tightening his hold on me, I looked down and saw him crying his eyes out and the sight made my heart break again.

I took a deep breath and felt the tears falling from my eyes.

“I can’t with this.” I forcibly removed his hands, surprised on how easy it was and stepped away.

“I already left you the moment you decided to kiss Jessica.” I said, more coldly this time. “Stay the fuck away from me Justin.” With that I walked away. Leaving him crying on the floor.

Leaving my heart with him.

Leaving our memories.

Leaving the 1 and a half years filled with love and happiness

'Please Justin. Come after me, please’ but he didn’t and that was it.

I walked away while hot tears was streaming down my face. It was just me. Me and my broken heart.

MooMaw’s kitchen is always filled with light.

It’s pouring through the windows above the sink and filtering through the blue and white checked curtains that hang above it.

Eric sits on the counter, right in the middle of a sun beam, and swings his little feet against the cabinets below as he licks brownie batter off a wooden spoon.

MooMaw has the phone tucked between her shoulder and her ear as she uses a spatula to scrape the last of the batter into the pan.

The cord stretches from the wall and Eric extends a sock covered foot out towards it and tries to touch it with his toes.

It sags before he can get to it as she steps forward and takes the spoon from him.

He only has a second to pout before she’s putting the spatula in the bowl and the bowl in his lap and ruffling his hair.

All the broken hearts in the world still beat

Summary: Stiles totally needs to make Lydia Martin jealous. Yeah. And his best chance is to convince star lacrosse player Derek Hale to (fake) date him.

Notes: Just a silly high school AU! (On AO3)

Even though he was expecting the answer, it still hurts. He guesses that somewhere, deep down, he was still holding on to hope. But it hadn’t even been Lydia’s zero-hesitation no that had really been painful. It was what she’d said next.

“You’re just not desirable at all. If you can’t get anybody else in this school, what makes you think you can get me?” she’d said, flipping her hair over her shoulder. “And I have a boyfriend, anyway.”

Then she’d walked away, leaving Stiles staring after her, feeling like he’d been stepped on. But little did she know: adversity just made him more determined. He was going to prove her wrong.

Detention | Reggie Mantle

Description: A bad day leads to you getting detention and getting close to the last person you’d ever thought you would.

Warnings: there’s a swear or two in there fo’sho.

A/N: this isn’t the greatest and trying to write reggie was different but here we are. lemme know what you think. i also just added everyone from my usual tagslist bc i remembered this time. ok cool.

Trouble wasn’t something you found yourself in often. You were the good student with the highest grades, never truant and had a reputation for being nice and polite to everyone. It was one of the reasons why everyone enjoyed your company. You were usually the nicest, friendliest and most positive person around school. There’d only been one time you’d ever gotten into trouble and that was in second grade when you’d stole Jughead’s hat off his head because you thought it was cool and put it on your own. He’d cried because you’d refused to give him it back so the teacher yelled at you, gave you a timeout and made you gave the hat back.

That was the only time in your whole sixteen years of age.

Up until today.

It had been a particularly bad morning. First the stupid alarm hadn’t gone off making you half an hour late then the moment you stepped outside mother nature decided to work against you and send a mass of rainfall. There had been no time for the bus so you’d ran all the way to school getting splashed by the passing cars on the road. By the time you got to school you were drenched, late and in the worst mood possible. Your usual happy smile was nowhere to be seen. Instead, you stormed into the classroom, threw your books down on the desk and sat yourself in your seat with a huff, arms crossed over your chest.

Stupid tapes

Summary: Zach doesn’t want to tell his girlfriend about the tapes and she has enough and then Bryce Walker makes things even worse

warnings: mention of rape i guess

part 2

masterlist | request

Y/N once heard Zach and Justin talking about some tapes and when she asked Zach he only brushed her off with a “don’t worry, love, ‘s fine”. Whoever she asked about those tapes either looked confused or told her it’s none of her business. She asked Zach multiple times about them, hoping he would break and tell her anything, so she would finally know what’s going on, but he didn’t. She noticed how tense he got whenever she asked him about them and how he’s changed through the last few weeks. It was taking a tool on Y/N and their relationship, as the girl thought he didn’t trust her and genuinely knew he was hiding something from her. And one day, Y/N decided enough was enough.

“Zach, I’m asking you one last time, what’s going on with these tapes!” they were sitting in his car, heading for his house so he could help her with her biology homework, as he was a year older and amazing at it.

“I’ve told you so many times that you should forget about them and stop worrying,” he replied calmly, though he could sense that Y/N wasn’t going to drop the topic this time.

Knock Before You Enter {Remus Lupin x Reader} *SMUT*

Oh God, this was so hot to write ;) I haven’t written smut in a while so here you go, lovelies! Hope you like it

Reader needed help from the Marauders, only to walk in on Remus.

Enjoy! @allertonn

Xx

History classes sucked and that was the truth. It wasn’t just the numerous wars and revolutions, in fact, they were quite interesting but the drawling, ghastly voice of Professor Binns made everyone sleepy and bored. This would often result to students waking up by the end of the class, only to find out there was a homework about the earlier discussion and you should consider yourself lucky if someone was even awake enough to listen.

As was the case of (Y/n).

And no, she was not awake that time.

She was half-asleep when the professor announced a group homework and her group mates were none other than the four, troublesome Gryffindors. To be quite honest, they were not as laid back as she thought they’d be. They would help one another when it comes to studies and rumour has it, they would even stay up all night to review. No one has confirmed this rumour, of course, but she was quite confident in their abilities since their high grades were enough evidence especially her long time crush, Remus Lupin.

She was on her way to their dorm, carrying with her her school books to get started on the homework, when Peter Pettigrew came running down the stairs.

“Pettigrew! Where are you going? We’re supposed to start on the homework, remember?” She said.

“Sorry, (L/n). James and Sirius has detention the whole day today.”

“What?” She frowned, “But the deadline’s tomorrow! I can’t do this by myself!”

“Yeah, sorry. I wish I can help you but…uh, Remus is upstairs. He can certainly help you out. Anyway, I gotta go. See you around!” Peter said before scurrying away quickly.

(Y/n) did not know why he was in such a hurry or what could be more important than their homework but her heart jumped at the mention of her crush’s name.

She wanted to get this homework over and done with. She had put too much faith on James and Sirius and now that they were in detention (no doubt another prank), she had to make do with what she have; not that she didn’t mind studying with Lupin. It was because she couldn’t focus on anything when she’s alone with him. It had happened before and she did not understand a single lesson.

She marched upstairs while mumbling furiously, planning out how she will done the two in and bury their bodies next to each other. She had not noticed their door slightly ajar and so when she opened it, her eyes saw the most unexpected scene that made her regret ever coming in. Remus Lupin was standing with his back turned to her, slowly pulling his shirt over his head. His back was littered with long, red scratches and scars but the arch of his spine made her blush, his shoulder blades made her heart pound, and the tiny dimples on his back made her wet.

(Y/n) was immediately frozen on the spot. She did not know if she should leave or shout at him for not locking his door. Either way, she had to decide quick because time was running out and Remus was already turning around.

His eyes fell on her immediately but he did not seem taken aback by her presence. Instead, he smirked and watched her eyes widen in surprise.

“Can I help you?” He asked casually.

It made her melt, her mouth hung slightly open and all the air from her lungs felt like they have been sucked out by a vacuum. She bit her lip to try and swallow her words but her heart was beating so loud that she became unaware of what came out of her mouth.

“I, uh, need some help with something,” she said with a smile which Remus interpreted as a positive response. He walked towards her and every step that he took, made her walk backwards nervously until she was pressed against the door, closing it with a soft thud. He reached towards her face and gently brushed the back of his finger on her cheek, trailing down to her chin to meet his eyes.

“And what is that?”

(Y/n) looked at him with wide eyes before looking down at his lips. She was so tempted to know how they taste like, how they feel like. She wanted him badly but she decided to play along. Her awkward self was now long gone.

“Homework. I can’t do it by myself, you know.” She said with a smirk. She did not know where this sudden burst of confidence came from but it was leading her to get where she wanted to be.

“Well, good thing I’m here for you, aren’t I? None of my friends are here too so we have the room all to ourselves.” He said, twirling a piece of her hair before tucking it behind her ear.

“Don’t you think I should come by some other time?” She said, “You’re not fully dressed.”

Remus looked down at himself and chuckled, “I would be if you knocked on the door.”

“Where’s the fun in that?” She teased, making Remus growl and grab her face, kissing her lips passionately.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back, her tongue trailing along his lips while he firmly kept his hands on her hips. Both of them have wanted this for so long but they never had the chance to know about how they felt towards each another since his friends were always teasing him. He did not ever want this moment to pass and so he moved his hands up and down on her body, feeling every inch of her skin, memorizing it in his mind. Hearing her moan softly was like music to him, knowing that he was making her feel good. He licked her neck and softly nibbled her ear before whispering.

“Do you want me?” He asked and although they haven’t gotten very far, he wanted her to assure him that she wanted him as much as he did. She slipped her fingers through his soft, brown hair and gave him his answer after a quick kiss on the lips.

“I do. I’ve always do.” She replied, making Remus smile excitedly like a little school boy who had just received his candy.

He carried her in both of his arms and laid her down on his bed before crouching towards her like a hungry wolf. She bit her lip and watched him hover above her, her eyes set on his. He leaned in and began to kiss her once more while she pulled him close with her legs. She felt his hard on press against her clothed heat, making him moan back. He continued to grind against her in a rhythm so pleasurable that made her sure her underwear was soaking wet by now. He pulled apart from her mouth and trailed kisses from her neck to her collarbone, lowering the top of her shirt to reveal more skin.

Watching him taste her and lick her was once a dream she would fantasize about at night while playing with herself but now that it was happening, she wanted more than just this. Remus stopped and pulled the top of her shirt once more, peaking down at her bra with a smirk.

“Take this off for me, darling, would you?” He asked in a polite yet lustful manner.

(Y/n) did not hesitate and sat up to remove her shirt, revealing to him her black laced bra with a tiny white bow between her breasts. She bit her lip and beckoned him with a finger.

“Remus…” She moaned, driving him mad.

He leaned in to her hungrily and cupped her breast in his hand, “ ‘This for me, darling?”

He fondled her and massaged her as she continued to moan his name in his ear. He pinched her nipple through her bra while she reached behind her back to unclasp it. Remus pulled it by the straps before tearing it from her body, throwing it on the other side of the room. She laid back down once more as he kissed her, his hands now reaching through her underwear to feel her wet womanhood. He pressed his thumb on her clit like a button, his other finger teasing her soaked entrance.

His lips went down to her breasts and closed around her nipple while he kept his fingers busy, rubbing up and down her slit. He pushed two fingers in and as she moaned, he began to move them, her wetness making it easier for him to slide in and out.

“A-ahh, Remus…”

“Feels good?” He asked but he did need to hear her answer.

The way she writhed at the mercy of his fingers was enough evidence. He continued fingering her until she was about to reach her climax, pulling it out before she could release. She glared at him for delaying her but he did not say anything. He tugged down her shorts and tossed it by the bed before removing her underwear that matched her bra. He placed it in his pocket and started to unbuckle his belt.

“You’ll have it back tomorrow.” He said. The thought of her going back to her room with no knickers under her clothes aroused him.

He pulled down his boxers next and (Y/n) licked her lips at the size of his impressive length. He was already hard and the tip was leaking pre-cum. She spread her legs in front of him, showing him how wet she was. Remus’s eyes darkened with lust at the sight, capturing it like a picture to wank himself to. He crawled back on top of her and held his cock before running the head up and down her soaking slit, teasing her.

“Remus, no…I-I want you,” she said, desperation in her voice.

He leaned in to her and kissed her softly before slowly easing himself inside, pushing his thick manhood in her wet cavern. Inch by inch, he filled her pleasurably, making her moan into his kiss. He pressed his forehead against her and pulled out gently before pushing back in one thrust.

“Oh, love…You are so tight. Feels so good for me, darling.”

He praised, his elbows planted on the mattress as he began to move in a slow, teasing rhythm. (Y/n) moaned at every hard and slow thrust he gave. Soon enough, he increased his speed with an even harder impact than before. Her walls clamped tightly around his length at every push and pull, his lips capturing hers.

His hands both gripped on the headboard as he roughened his thrusts, his nails scratching the wood. He was hitting her g-spot now and he was going fast and hard, making the headboard slam against the wall. He moaned at how wet she was becoming, whispering to her praises like how good she made him feel. He could tell she was close and so he carried her by her waist and sat up, allowing her to move up and down on his thick length.

“Oh my God, Lupin! I’m so close…”

“Go on, love. Come for me,” he encouraged, pressing his lips on her skin. He was getting close as well and with one last thrust and a hard slam of her bum on his thighs, the two finally reached their climax.

“A-Ahh!” Remus moaned as he started to cum inside her, thick spurts of his seed marking her walls as his. He groaned in immense pleasure while she soaked him with her juices, her head thrown back and her eyes closed. He kept his arms around her, her hands on his shoulders as his cock began to soften. He laid her back down and pulled out, his cum trickling down from her slit. (Y/n) smiled and ran her fingers through her hair.

“Wow…That was splendid.”

Remus panted and smiled before cleaning her up. He laid back down by her side and tucked her in with his blanket, pulling her to his chest.

“So are we dating?” He tried to asked confidently but his fear of just being a one-night stand made him worry. He wanted to start a relationship with her and not just a physical relationship to help him let out his frustrations. He loved her deeply and if she did not want him, it would surely break his heart.

However, (Y/n) smiled and nodded, “Of course!”

Remus gave a breath of relief and returned the smile, “Hogsmeade on Saturday, then?”

“I’d love to, Remus.”

She kissed his lips softly before resting her head on his shoulder, falling asleep by his side.

This year my little sister is starting high school (year 7 in Australia). To help her out I decided to write a quick post with the advice I wish I’d been given when I was her age. I hope that it will make her transition easier, and hope that it will do the same for other students starting year 7. I don’t feel like writing a rambly intro today, so let’s get right into it:

Advice On School Supplies

There are some items on an average school-issued supplies list that will probably never be used, and other items not on the list that can be useful to have. These are some items I’ve found to be useful (and not so useful) over my four years at high school.

Useful (PURCHASE):

  • Good gel or fine liner pens: Most school lists tell you to get the most basic supermarket ballpoint pens available. In my experience, these just don’t cut it for the amount of writing you need to do in high school. My suggestion? A gel pen or fine liner with small nib and heavy ink flow. A grip can add extra comfort, but personally, I don’t find one necessary. Brand wise, I love Muji 0.35/0.5 gels, Staedtler Triplus fine liners, and Arline 400 fine liners.
  • Plastic document folders: These are so, so useful! Last year I had one of these for each subject (a different colour for each!) and used them to store a notebook and any handouts that I needed for the class. They protected my papers from damage and also helped me stay organised by keeping everything from the subject in one spot and letting me just grab one folder before class rather than multiple items.
  • White out tape: So much better than the liquid stuff. For one it doesn’t require drying time, and it also doesn’t run the risk of bursting and ruining your pencil case/school bag/notebook/uniform/etc.

Not Useful (GO WITHOUT):

  • Binders: These are so clunky! If you have one per subject then they take up too much space in your bag, and if you have one for everything then you have to carry all your materials to every class. Unless you just keep loose leaf paper in a slim binder (rather than notebooks), then I suggest using plastic folders instead.
  • Binder books: Just get normal notebooks. As mentioned above, binders are clunky and unnecessary. I find it better to use non-punched books, as they don’t have holes that get in the way of your writing. Or alternatively, just fill a slim binder with loose leaf and use that instead of multiple notebooks.

Advice On Class Schedules

One of the things I struggled with most when starting high school was remembering what class I had when and what room I needed to be in. The best way to stay on top of your schedule is to write it down. However I suggest using a digital program rather than pen and paper - your schedule is likely enough to change that you want to be able to make adjustments easily. You can write it in a word processing program, but I find it most useful to use an app. With a program such as iStudiez or My Study Life on your phone/tablet, you can easily schedule your classes and also add in homework due dates. Download one of these (or a similar program), and you won’t have any problems managing your timetable.

Advice On Staying Organised

The single most useful organisational tool I’ve found in four years of searching is a program called Trello. Available as both a desktop site and a mobile app, Trello has been a saviour when it comes to staying on top of tasks. The best thing about it, and what stands it apart from other organisational tools, is its great user interface. Trello, like many other programs, allows you to set lists of tasks to be completed. Like other programs, it allows you to categorise tasks and add sub-tasks. What makes it different from other programs is the way it allows you to organise and prioritise tasks. It has a simple drag and drop interface which lets you move tasks between lists with ease, and you can do the same to re-order tasks within a single list. This is super useful when it comes to sorting tasks by priority or setting up a running-order of tasks for the day. If you want to know exactly how I use Trello, just shoot me and ask and we can set up a screenshare to explain.

Advice On Taking Notes

The best advice I can give you on taking notes is just to make sure you keep them detailed and up-to-date. A good, complete set of notes is so useful when it comes to studying for tests, and you really don’t want to leave note-taking to right before one. At year 7-9 level I found taking notes in class and from class slideshows to be adequate, but in year 10 it became important to take notes from textbooks too. This will vary school-to-school, but you can use these year levels as loose guidelines.

Advice On Studying

Spread. It. Out. I’m serious. You’re tempted to procrastinate? You’re tempted to study in one big block the weekend before the test? Don’t. Please. Trust me when I say it’s not nice to spend six hours in a day studying for the one test. Instead, study in short bursts, but study regularly. For a 7th-10th grader, I think it’s enough if your regular study regime is to simply summarise your notes at the end of each week, make flashcards, and give them a once-over study. When it comes near test time, you’ll only need a short study session to prepare. In this session I suggest you do the following:

  • Chuck the flashcards you know you’ve already memorised. Study the rest until they stick (<30 minutes).
  • Do a practice test or some practice exercises (I suggest Khan Academy for maths practice), focusing on the skills/question types you have the most trouble with (~1 hour).
  • Get together with some friends and use Kahoot to have a competitive, time-restricted quiz on the test content. You can find a pre-made quiz, or create your own for more focused study. For me, this is a really fun way to study and also the best way to make information stick long-term (~30 minutes).

Spread these activities out over the week before the test, and you are way less likely to feel overloaded than if you leave everything to the last minute.

Advice On Homework

Repeat after me: Do it before you have to. As much as it’s tempting to procrastinate, you’ll feel much less stressed if you don’t leave work to the last minute. Rather than completing only what you have to on any given day, I suggest you work until one of the following occurs:

  1. You run out of set work to do.
  2. It becomes too late to study (please stop studying at least an hour before bed and spend some time giving yourself a little TLC instead).
  3. You become too tired out and feel you can’t work productively anymore (if you don’t have anything left due tomorrow then leave the work to another day, but if you still need to complete things then take a break or nap before getting back to it).

Advice On Time Management

In lower high school, you’ll probably find that it is unnecessary to strictly manage your time, as long as you don’t waste it. By this I mean you will rarely feel you don’t have time to complete required work, as long as you don’t waste your time on pseudo-productive tasks like creating ultra-pretty presentations or copying your notes out. Just stick to the tasks that are actually required of you.

Advice On Making Friends

JOIN CLUBS! Clubs are a great way to have fun, get involved, and also meet people with the same interests as you. They provide a semi-structured environment in which to initiate conversation, rather than you having to randomly approach new people (which, if you are like me, is SCARY!), and also keep you meeting with your new pals on a regular basis. Once you getting chatting with someone you like, just invite them to sit with you at lunch and you’re off to a great start.

“Flat out” -h.s. Part 2

Part 1

—–

—–

Waking up the morning of your birthday, you tried to keep your nerves in check. You expected pancakes and coffee in the least, but nothing too fancy. Instead, you found a quiet flat thanks to a very still asleep Harry. You didn’t blame him for that though, considering you had a pretty early class anyway. Who would want to get up at 6:30am willingly?

So you made your own coffee and dressed for school. You wouldn’t be on campus much today anyway, but more in the courthouse. Your professor was working a case, a very high profile case, and you had been asked to be his consulting student. You were very excited about it, but due to the nature of the case and the amount of thugs you were sure you’d encounter, you’d yet to tell Harry about it. He could get protective of this kind of thing, and you didn’t want to have to worry about his feelings and the case at the same time.

Harry was still asleep when you left, smoothing out your dress as you heels clicked down the hall on the way to the elevator. You’d get a ‘Happy Birthday’ text, you were sure. That at the very least.

dec. 26, 2016: what NOT TO DO vs. what TO DO as a student

hey, everyone!!!

after rambling on and on about my first semester as a high school junior in this post, I have decided to compile a list of tips (if u can call them that) of things you should think of doing versus things you SHOULD NOT DO, LIKE, EVER as a student! i’m planning on following these things during the upcoming semester.

DO NOT:

  1. Study everything the day before your exam. First of all, it’s just too much stress. Plus, there’s no way you’ll be able to remember everything while testing. Just, don’t do it. I had done this multiple times last semester, and I just never want to experience something like that ever again. Here is a way to break your study time/material into chunks. Here is another way.
  2. Eat nothing in school. (Unless it’s Ramadan or something.) You need to eat, you’ll feel dizzy and weak and your health will be negatively affected without (HEALTHY) food. That happened to me. What I (generally) take to school are a few crackers, my own homemade cheese ‘dip’ (or some Babybel/string cheese), yogurt, and a little candy bar.
  3. Spend too much time in the bathroom/shower. This is THE WORST thing I do to myself…this is my “go-to” method of procrastination. I just shower or spend time in the bathroom for, like A LOT OF TIME per day. Just take this as a little piece of advice from me: don’t spend time you could be practicing for that math test, badly singing Whitney Houston songs. Just don’t. Your future self will thank you.
  4. Study continuously for prolonged periods of time. I HATE sitting down for a long time, oh my gosh. My back hurts, my butt hurts, I start to get drowsy. Refer to tip #9 of the “Do’s” for a solution.
  5. Start a TV show during the school year. Unless you have PERFECT time management skills, just don’t get hooked into a TV show. I’m 99.98% sure you’ll binge-watch and regret your life. I’m really glad I didn’t start watching Gossip Girl last semester, and I’m not gonna do it this next semester, either.

DO:

  1. Invest in a planner or start a bullet journal. I’ve used both methods. Just get any cheap old notebook, or, if you can afford it and you want to, splurge a little and just record all upcoming events and everything you need to do. You don’t have to spend 1229834 hours decorating your planner/bujo like the perfect ones you see here on tumblr. Maybe add a little color code, a little doodle here and there. Just decorate it however you want (or don’t!!!) as long as you’re not taking away precious study time. I personally have a 2017 planner that I’ve recently started to use, so I’m just gonna stick with that, tbh.
  2. Designate a day per week/two weeks to just review past/current material taken in a particular course. Okay, in the past I’ve been too lazy to actually do this, but I AM gonna start doing this next semester. I’m probably leave the weekend for physics and chemistry, and maybe Sunday for biology…I think I’m gonna make a specific post about that later.
  3. Stay hydrated! Oh my gosh, this one is so important. Whenever I don’t bring a water bottle to school, I end up cranky, sleepy, and suffering from a headache. For those reasons, I think it is always a good idea to take a water bottle with you to school.
  4. Find time to exercise. It is rather hypocritical of me, a lazyass slob, to say this, but you pretty much ALWAYS have SOME time during the week for a workout. Even once or twice. Not gonna lie to myself anymore.
  5. Do as much “homework” as you can in school. I have a total of 45 minutes of break per school day, so I’m going to use those to do work. The only problem I have is finding someplace I won’t be distracted by my friends. I think I’ve got that covered, though.
  6. Organize your binders/folders/whatever frequently. Just do it and YOU WILL NOTICE A BIG DIFFERENCE in how quickly you finish your tasks. I have an expandable file folder in which I keep any papers/notes/stuff I write or receive throughout the week, and then after the end of the week I spend time filing them into big binders for each subject.
  7. Maintain a clean and tidy room + desk. I literally CANNOT focus if my study area is messy. My grades DROP. It’s hard to study when you have an area the size of a large textbook to do work in, and a pile of papers/clothes/BOTH at your feet. I advise you to tidy (which does NOT mean redecorate) your desk before your study session, just to get some more space to think and do work.
  8. Join some kind of school club/extracurricular activity. Joining my school’s Model UN has given me so much joy and I’ve met so many wonderful people. I really advise you all to join something!! Just remember, manage your time wisely!!!
  9. Use the Pomodoro method to study. It’s simple yet effective. Try it and you’ll understand what I mean. I’ve especially aced a ton of memorization-based tests because of this method.
  10. Start working on projects early. Not only does this reduce stress levels, it also may help you boost your grade! If you experience any issues, you can just write your question(s) down on a little sticky note and ask your teacher instead of panicking at 1 AM!!!!

Good luck to us all!!! <3 Rawan

The Moon and the Stars

Anonymous said: Can I request Taehyung being your roommate and you’re not aware of his feelings until he comes home drunk 😊😊

Pairing: Taehyung x Reader

Summary: You and Tae are roommates and it’s great. You two get along well and hang out from time to time. One night he comes home from a night of partying, completely wasted, and tells you he’s in love with you. However, given his reputation, that’s not exactly a good thing…

Genre: College/Roommate!auFluff, Angst(ish?)

Word Count: 5,000 (exactly!)

Content: Adorably drunk Tae, some mushy fluff, a little bit of angst, some swearing

A/N: This was supposed to be a drabble but ended up being 5k oops. Partially inspired by Weight Lifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.

Sneak Peak:

Taehyung took your hand and started walking. At that moment you noticed that the clouds had drifted off, revealing the billions of stars that were hidden behind them.

You looked up at the clear night sky. “Look, Tae.” You said, pulling on his sleeve. You used your free hand to point up at moon, which was bright, and full. “Isn’t she beautiful?”

He didn’t let his eyes follow your finger toward the stars. Instead they remained fixed on you when he replied, “She is.”

High school for you is not as bad as most people make it out to be. You don’t mind your classes, you get good grades, and you actually enjoy attending sports games, but what you do mind is people - more specifically, Chloe Hansen. Now, you’re not the type to judge right away, you like to give people second chances because first impressions are almost always entirely wrong. However, Chloe has proved time and time again that she doesn’t deserve any chances at all.

Your name: submit What is this?

The music was too loud, possibly heard in the next few blocks. The party was at its point and i was dancing in the middle of the room, shaking my hair and a red glass at the top of beer in my hand. I wasn’t worried that i would shed a considerable amount of liquid in every movement, but who cared? Everyone here was drunk enough to need my drink. Tomorrow I would regret this, especially for the hangover but I would take care of that in due time.

I stopped for a few seconds to drink the little content I had, I didn’t used to go to parties, but when I did, I knew perfectly how to have fun. I usually came with my boyfriend, but lately he’s committed to his qualifications after receiving an ultimatum from his trainer, who had missed this one. I could have been a good girlfriend and stay home an assistant, but the reality was, i wasn’t better than he at school, and this party was important so that we both lost it. For the moment, I received no threats to drive me out of the cheerleading squad, so I don’t worry about staying home and studying, not on a Friday night. No doubt, I was already drunk. Jeff wasn’t going to love this.

“You move very well, girl”

I turned with a big smile on my way to the voice behind my back. A boy, who was supposed to know because his face was too familiar, perhaps sharing a class or two, it didn’t matter, it wasn’t the time to think about the institute, or tasks or anything else.

After seeing that boy at the party, there is no record of anything else, until a few hours after Jessica was in charge of giving me a good reprimand, regret that she hadn’t had a portal like a saint during the celebration, although At least she did it with her boyfriend. That boy, he wasn’t my boyfriend. My boyfriend had stayed at home among books, while I was making one of my worst mistakes in my life, and there was no day until today that I regretted every action that night.

I balanced my phone in the dark of my room. There is no record of having brought me a house where I wasn’t very well received, now carried a good punishment, and not for attending the party, but for the painful state in which I came. At least I’m not drunk anymore. But i repent and be destroyed. I look with tears in my eyes at the screen of my cell, the name of Jeff is there and just press the icon to call to end this. How could it have happened? How could I have made him the best boy he has ever known? Why did I even attend that party … without him? I cover my face with my hands and sob. There were many people who realized what happened. On Monday someone would tell Jeff, and i knew he had to know for me. He was going to send me to the devil, perhaps in such a kind way that it will make me feel worse. At no time in our long relationship has he manifested with me in a bad way, I have never had the voice, no matter how angry I was for the madness that I sometimes made, it was more than madness and even then I knew him well enough. Who will not even dare to tell me the word “bitch” to think about it, is another matter that I would never know.

I bit my lip hard. It was three o'clock in the morning, possibly I would be asleep. Later we were going to the movies and then to dinner, but I couldn’t look him in the eyes, I couldn’t go out with him, not after what I did. I always knew Jeff was the good of the two … and I didn’t deserve him. He didn’t deserve someone like me.

Finally I pressed the call button and while I waited for him to answer, I worked on reassurance.

“Y/N? Is everything okay? "His voice sounded sleepy but alert. Who would call in the wee hours of the night unless it was an emergency?

I closed my eyes, letting more tears drain away.

"No,” I whispered.

“Where are you? Did something happen to you?” I heard the squeak of his bed. Possibly sat or got up. I imagined him taking his jacket. He was able to drive to my house right now. A pang pierced my chest and I felt worse.

“I’m home,” I murmured.

“Then why are you calling me at this hour?” Another squeak. He sat down again.

“I …” I covered my mouth at the threat of another sob “I … I have to tell you something, Jeff”

It took a few seconds to respond.

“You’re worrying me, I can go to your house right now, just leave the window open”

I smiled through tears. It wouldn’t be the first time he would sneak into my room, possibly his most rebellious act, but only when my sadness and worry wouldn’t let me sleep, he would come in, we would lay on my bed and caress my arm while telling me some anecdote . He wouldn’t leave until I fell asleep, when I woke up I found a note, either on paper or on my phone. My smile was blurred again.

“Stay there, Jeff.” I couldn’t see him. “I did something very bad.” And I burst into tears. I couldn’t tell him, I couldn’t even want to break his heart, but neither did he deserve to stay with me, nor could I pretend that nothing had happened. I didn’t want to lose him, but that decision no longer belonged to me. He waited in silence “I can’t tell you what, but … I can let you go”

“What are you talking about?”

“Jeff …” I closed my eyes to say the following words: “I’m breaking up with you. You and I … we’re done”

“Y/N”

And I hung up, not giving time to his questions or his talks trying to blame himself for my decision so hurried. But it wasn’t his, it was mine. I couldn’t break his heart, not with the truth, but with the call, i knew that i had already done so. I dropped my phone and ran to my window to close it securely and run the curtains enough not to see a shadow. I would give him at least fifteen minutes for him to play in this one, i only had fifteen minutes to fall asleep or torment me with the nonstop touches Jeff would make.

A slap on my shoulder startled me back to the present. Liberty High at the time of changing classes and crowded aisles. I had been five minutes in front of one of the posters that announced the Dollar’s Valentine while remembering that soon it would be the dance, the first one that would go without a partner … Without my boyfriend. It had been two months since I ended my relationship with Jeff Atkins because of my actions and not being able to control myself with the drink. A few days later, he had learned the truth, what i had done, and finally he understood why my call at three in the morning. At present hardly and looked at me. We practically passed the other without talking to each other, not smiling at us and not looking at us, at least he didn’t, I would usually stop in the middle of the aisle and turn to see him leave, with the slight hope that he would return to do the same, But he never did and that hurt me a little more, just as guilt was growing.

I looked at Jessica who smiled at me and looked at the poster that had brought me a bad memory.

“Will you come in?” She asked.

“To our own campaign? Would that be fair? "I said in a muffled tone. The truth is that I didn’t want to find a list with future ideal couples. It’s to the benefit of our squad, but I was afraid to see five names and that none outside of Jeff, though that would not change at all.

"It would serve to set the example.” Jess smiled again. She knew my situation perfectly and didn’t waste a day trying to cheer me up.

“Will you come in?”

She snorted and rolled her eyes.

“You know I don’t need it”

Of course, she had a perfect relationship with her boyfriend Justin Foley.

“We’d better go,” I murmured, and without waiting for her, I began to walk. It remained in her if she followed me or took a different course.

After that awful slide that caused me the loss of someone important in my life, one of the best things that could happen to me, I decided to commit myself to raise my grades in high school. At home, they thought, having finished with my boyfriend had raised my notes, which was why Jeff had been classified as a distraction. Usually after school I went to the classroom to finish my homework or catch up with notes from a classmate; I was also motivated by the fact that I could observe Jeff in the distance, even working with Clay Jensen.

I left my things on a table far enough away from that pair and went to one of the shelves, I needed to get a history book that was worth it to do a rehearsal. I stopped to examine the titles in front of me, but in fact, I didn’t read them because I had a perfect panorama of the profile of my now ex-boyfriend. I couldn’t help it. Having done so because of my mistakes didn’t mean I didn’t love him anymore. Instead, every day, every second of my life, my love for him grew; When I saw his smile, when I saw him playing, or when I peered at him from my desk and I saw his reactions relieved when they gave him a task and the qualification was high. That’s my boy, committed and mending his mistakes instead of running away and hiding. He was the opposite of me. Besides, i wouldn’t find someone like him and wasn’t interested in doing that search. I only wanted him, even though now it was impossible.

I had it all with Jeff Atkins and my foolishness made me lose it. I should never have gone to that damn party. I should have driven in the opposite direction, direct to his house and help him in his work.

I felt my eyes fill with tears as I returned to the present. I took a book without bothering to read the title or not, the truth is that I had lost interest in doing homework on this site, I would take care of it at home. I looked at Jeff one last time to find that he held a paper in his hands. I narrowed my eyes at the decorations of the same one, the same ones that I had suggested when we were preparing the Dollar’s Valentine. Was he entering the game? I felt my heart break and however much I wanted to claim him, I had no right. He had moved on, just what I wanted, maybe find a girl much better than me. At least I thought, but my body took on a life of its own, went to the table, took her backpack and folder and left the classroom directly to the reception. I would buy my Dollar’s Valentine too.

I lost five dollars for five names. Jeff Atkins and I had few things in common, but at least enough to have him on my list and I show up in his. I filled out the form as fast as I could but being honest and deposited the money in front of my partner who smiled. Yes, I supported our campaign, but those had been my last five dollars to survive on the week. When I was handed the sheet, I doubted those results, four names I knew, one not really, but what puzzled me was that nowhere was the name of Jeff. This was really wrong, what kind of deception are we promoting?

“Sheri?”

She looked up at me with a smile. She was hoping to tell her the names that had been my list.

“From cheerleader to cheerleader. Did Jeff Atkins come by or did you give him his list?”

She laughed and shook her head. Yes, it seemed the typical ex who didn’t exceed the boy, and it was true, but if his name didn’t appear and I was honest in my answers, I even knew what he would answer, then it was possible that I imagined it with that sheet. No, my imagination had not been, I was sure.

“Jeff?” She mocked “No, not at all, and I doubt he does. You should know that, Y/N”

“I know. I just … I don’t know … "I looked at my sheet. Five dollars in the trash, I would run out of food to try something.

"Then you did it for him?”

I folded my sheet in half, it would look bad if I wrinkled it in front of her. This was our idea, which bad example would be giving, everyone would take it as it was a simple crap.

“I’ll see you at the dance”

I left the office and school as a soul that leads to the devil.

Dave held out his hand to me as he kindly opened the door to his car. I managed not to step on the dress with my favorite color that I had decided to wear at the Valentine’s Ball. I still questioned why i had agreed to come and especially with a date, product of the absurd list of Dollar’s Valentine that in the end had decided to take the floor, After all, if the boy was in the five chosen, then we had to have something in common, although the way here was absolutely silent, or it was my lack of motivation to try to move forward. I looked at the sidetracked boy as we walked to the entrance of the auditorium, he wasn’t even half of handsome that Jeff, in fact, what I thought, is that he didn’t get to the heels of my boy … my not boy.

I tried to put on my best smile as we walked through the doors. My arm recharged in Dave’s, how much falsehood in one scene. I had also turned out on the guy’s list, incredibly first, instead, on mine, turned out to be the third. I didn’t want to take the first one because it was one of my friends, it would only make it more uncomfortable. So I took the stranger, whom I probably decide to ignore after tonight.

“Do you want something to drink?” His voice caught my attention and I watched him blink. I hoped he hadn’t found me looking all over the place for that smile that fascinated me.

“Sure.” I replied with a smile.

Dave left and I sighed in relief, why didn’t I just decide to come myself? Why didn’t I just throw the list in the trash and get on with my life without five dollars less in my wallet? What’s more, why did I even come to a party full of lovers? For him? What if he didn’t come? What if he came with someone else? It made a knot in my stomach, as if I had not eaten all day and I moved from the place, forgetting for a few seconds, that my partner would look for me at any moment, but I had had enough of Dave, I hadn’t even attracted a bit.

I moved near the door, hiding behind balloons, I hadn’t seen him in the gym, so he may not have arrived. I remained there for at least ten minutes, until he appeared, with a girl hanging from his arm; A smiling blonde, as if she had waited for that opportunity all her life. And I recognized her, oh, of course I knew her; She is in my algebra class and I was also aware of the taste she had for who was my boyfriend, that was the main reason why she hated me or why she snorted and rolled her eyes every time I entered the classroom, Yes I’m still breathing, fool. And I felt doubly hurt. Jeff knew I couldn’t stand her either, the product of my jealousy, and had brought her to the dance, wanted to prove something? Did he imagine that I would introduce myself and see him? The blood began to boil, I left my hiding place and I avoided that my eyes were filled with tears. Now it was more my anger, of all the girls of Liberty High, had to be precisely she with whom he come.

“I’ve been looking all over for you, Y/N” Soon I had Dave by my side.

“I’m finished with this. Find someone who has come alone.” I didn’t even look at him when I left following that couple.

To have seen him with another, one that I didn’t approve of course, and that went against my good wishes for him to move on, made me understand, that i had been a complete idiot in having lost him and that i wanted to stay with him. I would somehow amend what I did, and that he would forgive me.

When I got to where they were, with my best smile I took him by the arm, he turned and his eyes widened, or he pretended quite well or really didn’t expect to see me here.

“Can we talk for a second?” I tried to hide the anger. The blonde took his other arm.

“Now he’s with me, pretty”

“You quiet you look prettier. Maybe you’ll catch something else.” I looked at her with superiority and she rolled her eyes “Jeff?”

He sighed.

“All right. I’ll be right back.“ He said to the blonde, oh, of course he wasn’t coming back.

I smiled at the girl, who, after making sure Jeff didn’t see her, showed me the middle finger.

"What?” He told me once that we were far enough away to speak without screaming.

“I don’t know … I just” I looked in the direction of where we had gone “Really, Jeff? Her?”

“Do you worry about me dating someone else? Isn’t it what you wanted, Y/N? I don’t understand you. She is a good girl”

I swallowed the mocking laugh I was about to take out.

“It’s what I want,” I said. “Or I wanted … I’m not sure anymore. I just … I realized that …” I squeezed my lips “I never asked you to forgive me for what I did” He looked away “I know I did you a lot of damage and I did to me too, but I guess I deserved it. I’m not going to tell you that it was just a kiss, because I know how important that is for you … for both”

Jeff finally looked at me.

“Why after two months, you come to the dance and you apologize to me?”

“Because I couldn’t remain at peace with myself, the guilt still follows me” I crossed my arms “I just needed to ask your forgiveness to understand that I must let you go. You can go with her now”

It hurt too much. My first intention to pull him away from that blonde was to retrieve it, but now, being alone, I remembered that ours was finally over, that there was a possibility that he would never forgive me and that I should go ahead, just what I too should be doing.

I watched as Jeff hesitated, looked back, wondering whether to go back or to go somewhere else, then he saw me again and smiled half-heartedly.

“Do you know how hard it‘s for me to date someone else?”

“I know, I also came with someone” I looked away “With whom perhaps I should apologize for having planted it right here” We both laughed and looked at each other until the laughter died “I don’t think I could be with someone else again” I bit my lip, maybe saying what was in my head would hurt me more, wasn’t it enough punishment? “Because you’re unique, Jeff Atkins, and I love you more and more”

He nodded. I understood in his gaze that he was debating what to say or do. In what was wrong or good. Forgive me? Was he considering it? In what category did he put it? Nerves were eating me, but I wasn’t ready to say goodbye forever.

“To hell with the past, Y/N. I love you, and maybe I’m making a mistake but I’ll find out in time”

“I’m never going to hurt you again, Jeff. Never again”

His hands settled on my cheeks. I let the tears emerge from my eyes as he bent to join his lips with mine. This promise was never going to break, and if it were, I would even take care of ceasing to exist in this world.

Request: can you do a jealous tom holland imagine?

Tom was normally a very calm and nonchalant person to be with. The relationship never had bad drama that couldn’t be resolved in a day or two. Before the filming your movie, you don’t even think you can even recall a time he was truly jealous over a guy.

Since the two of you were fairly successful actors, he loved visiting you during filming, just as much as you loved visiting him. Your current movie was your first film that was primarily about a relationship. It was a musical and it circulated a boy and girl in New York meeting and the toils of keeping a relationship.

The costar was great and really professional about the whole thing. You don’t think there would have been a problem if Tom had come to visit on another day. He had surprised you and you thought nothing of it.

The main scene of the day was the kiss in the streets. Tom was aware of the scene and thought it would be okay so an assistant pulled a chair for him behind the cameras.

At first, he only saw how stunning you looked. The dress you were in wasn’t too fancy, but Tom preferred you in your casual attire instead of formal attire. You were absolutely dazzling him without even trying.

A twinge of annoyance didn’t make its presence known until the third take. He furrowed his eyebrows at the feeling and brushed it off. It’s only acting. Tom understands that more than any other boy would.

Using his acting, he acted like the sight of you and your costar kissing didn’t feel as if a knife was in his stomach. By the last take, Tom’s leg was shaking subconsciously. You laughed when you approached him. “You okay there, Tom?” You asked, “You look like you need to use the toilets.”

He glanced down at his leg with confusion. When did he start doing that? Tom awkwardly crossed his leg over the other. “Nope, I’m all good,” he said in a casual tone, “So, done with this scene?”

“Yes, and we’re going out to lunch,” you revealed, “Meaning the all the main characters, if you’re okay with that. I can ditch them if you want.” You laughed at the last part as a joke.

Tom shook his head in what he hoped was nonchalant. “That’s fine,” he smiled to hide his uneasy feeling, “Want to head out soon?” You grabbed his hand and pulled him along so the two of you could catch up with the crew.

The restaurant was nice and large. The cast got a booth and sat down. You sat next to Tom on the edge and your costar sat opposite you by coincidence. The cast included Tom in the conversation, especially since more than half of them loved him as Spiderman in Civil War.

When the conversation changed to the scenes filmed that day, Tom felt the similar feeling in his gut. He decided to ask your costar a bit about himself. “Yeah, I’m from Georgia,” they responded, “I kinda lost my accent when I moved to LA.”

Tom laughed. “It’s hard to ignore my accent.”

“You sounded pretty American in Civil War,” your costar chuckled himself, “Weird that the last two actors for Spiderman have been British. You were great as Spiderman. I loved that homework line.”

“Thanks.” Tom ended the conversation and wanted to kick himself. He probably seemed so jealous. You’d probably be angry at him, since the two of you were actors and understood that costars rarely meant anything.

“What do you think, Tom?” You broke him out of his thoughts.

He almost jumped, asking immediately, “Sorry, what?”

You looked at him strangely before explaining the plans to meet up to go out after filming. Tom forced a smile and agreed pleasantly. The conversation kept moving without another hitch.

It turned out that you were done for the day so you and Tom walked around a bit before going to the hotel and getting changed for the night. You wore a nice party dress that took Tom’s breath away. The plan was to meet the cast members at the club nearby.

The two of you got there before anyone else did so you ordered drinks. Sipping your drink, you eyed Tom. He had been acting strange this whole visit and it worried you slightly. He turned to you with a guilty expression. “Y/N, I’m so sorry how I’ve been acting. It’s been a pleasant visit and I’m just ruining it.”

“What? You’re not ruining anything,” you stated while raising your eyebrow.

He sighed, “Yes, I am. I’ve been acting so jealous since seeing you film that scene and-”

“Jealous?” You repeated, “Tom, you haven’t been acting jealous. I just noticed that you’ve been acting strange. Are you jealous?”

“What? I’ve been so embarrassed by how jealous I was acting.” Tom’s cheeks turned red as he realized that you had no idea how he felt.

There was a pause while you thought of what to say. Finally, you stated, “Please tell me when you feel jealous, since I didn’t even notice. I didn’t even think of a reason for you to feel like that.” You kissed his now deep red cheek and smiled.

At first, Tom was confused. You were kissing another boy for almost thirty minutes. Obviously some negative feelings would arise. He understood what you meant when you pulled him to the dance floor. You, an incredibly beautiful woman, looked past the other attractive people throwing themselves onto you. Out of everyone, you only focused on Tom.

PART 2

Masterlist + Request here!

In Christmas breaks, you tended to stay in Hogwarts rather than with your own family back at home. It wasn’t because you didn’t like spending your holidays with them, but you just thought it was easier because of their always busy schedules. Also, by not leaving the school, you’d get the chance to concentrate more on your homeworks as well.

You sighed in happiness when you felt your whole body softly hit the mattress, your eyes tired from the revising you did for the whole day. Without your friends around, you really did have the opportunity to get school work done and you honestly didn’t know whether you’re regretting not coming home or being thankful that you’re already half-way through.

Just as you feel yourself drifting away from consciousness, you heard the door to your room creak. You opened your eyes immediately, growing confused since you only had the place for yourself for the meanwhile, meaning there shouldn’t be someone creeping in. Unless …

With a grab of your wand, you pointed it to the direction of the door and whispered, “Lumos.”

You widened your eyes when you saw that it was Draco Malfoy, someone who was in the same house as yours which was Slytherin, and in instinct you grabbed your pillow and threw it towards him, hitting him hard on the face.

"Ouch! That really hurt.“ he complained, rubbing his face.

”Any reason why you’re half-naked in my room?“ you demanded before turning off the light on your wand and turning on the lamp beside your bed instead.

Draco picked up the pillow and threw it back to you. "Bloody hell, have anyone told you that you could make one hell of a Beater?”

“You’re avoiding my question. Why do you only have your pants on?” you had a hard time not looking at anywhere other than his eyes.

He sighed. “Yeah, about that, I needed somewhere to hide.”

You cocked an eyebrow. “And you thought the best place for that was in my room?” you mused.

“I thought you were sleeping, okay?” he rolled his eyes.

You crossed your arms. “Still not a valid reason to trespass. Why are you even in the girls’ dormitory?”

You thought your eyes were deceiving you but you could see that his ears turned pink.

    “I — uh — it’s none of your business.”

A realization suddenly struck you and you couldn’t help laughing if what you were thinking was true. He sent you a confused look because of this which made you speak.

“Are you hooking up with Pansy Parkinson?” you exclaimed, causing the young boy to run towards you and scowl for you have said it so loudly.

“Don’t shout it out!” whispered Draco in an angry tone.

You chuckled. “You’re cautious. Does that mean that you are hooking up with her?”

“No.” he sat on the other bed beside yours. “She was just trying to —” he stopped himself. “Look, she did something and I ran away. I’ll let your imagination take over.”

“That’s probably not a good idea since I do have a wild mind.” you smirked. “But okay, and if you want, you can sleep there at Daphne Greengrass’ bed for the night. I’m sure she won’t mind.”

Draco nodded, not used to the feeling of someone showing real kindness to him. It seemed like out of all the people in Hogwarts, you were the only person he knew who wasn’t quick to judge and made the effort to actually get to know a person before deciding whether he or she is bad or good. That was (maybe) the real reason why he decided to hide in your room instead.

“Thanks. Good night.” he coughed awkwardly, laying down on the said bed.

You smiled and turned off the lights. “You’re welcome. Sweet dreams, Draco.”

He was struck when he heard his name slipping off your tongue, something that not many people did because they preferred to call him by his last name. He just snorted in amusement before tucking himself in, but when he was just about to sleep, he heard your voice again.

“She didn’t try to force you into doing something, right?” you asked in the darkness, your tone masking concern.

“No.” Draco was now grinning for a reason he didn’t know. “We sorta had a thing going on and she said something that caught me off guard.”

You chuckled. “Of course, the best way to solve your problems is running away as they say. I’m disappointed. So much for being known as ruthless and egotistical.”

He shifted so that he can face you, not aware that you have done the same because of the dimness of the room.

“You sound like you don’t believe it.” he breathed out.

“I don’t. At least not until you give me a reason to believe what everybody else is saying.” you replied.

    “You should anyway. They’re right.”

You rolled your eyes even though you knew he wouldn’t see it.

“Stop being dramatic.” you told him. “And besides, even if they are right, I know you’re good deep deep deep down.”

The sound of his laughter abruptly filled the quiet atmosphere of the room. You found yourself grinning at the fact that this was one of the rare moments you’d hear him laugh genuinely, and not because of the hopes of making himself seem like a funny guy somehow to others.

“I’m sorry. I’m keeping you from sleeping, aren’t I?” said Draco.

“Oh, not at all.” You didn’t mean to sound sarcastic.

“But we should probably still go to sleep.” he insisted. “And I promise, I’ll go out of this room as early as possible in the morning to not get noticed by anyone. Who knows what they’ll think of when they see me walking out without a top?”

The both of you laughed again.

“Yeah, you should probably do that. I wouldn’t want Pansy as an enemy.” you teased.

“Please don’t tell anyone about that too, by the way.”

You faked a gasp. “Is the Slytherin Prince actually pleading to some commoner like me?” you said before erupting into a fit of laughter for what seemed like the hundredth time tonight.

     "Ha, ha.“ he sarcastically replied.

     You involuntarily yawned.

Draco furrowed his eyebrows slightly. "You should really sleep. Good night again, Y/N.”

"Good night too, Draco. Don’t let the bed bugs bite.“ you told him childishly, grabbing your pillow and finally drifting off into the anticipated sleep you have been waiting for.

On the other hand, Draco was staring at the ceiling, knowing that moments like this with you won’t be the last.
