so sorry i didn't want to steal anyone's idea or anything

It’s @celesoran‘s bday!!! Please accept this small Speed Demons ficlet! :D

On a scale of one to ten, one being the least worst, and ten being the absolute most terrible, a rowdy bar in the rougher part of town on a Saturday night is probably on the higher end of Asahi’s discomfort spectrum.

He knows Daichi and Suga love this place, though, because it reminds them a little bit of the old days, the scent of smoke and danger always lingering in the air, the possibility of fight or flight always right around the corner. Asahi doesn’t miss those days nearly as much, and he knows the two of them are more or less happy in the relative stability they have now, but he does understand the notion of rose-tinted glasses born from nostalgia.

Asahi likes the quiet, though. That’s why he watches from a booth in the corner of the room, nursing a soda and snacking on admittedly delicious chicken wings, while Daichi and Suga jostle for elbow room at the crowded bar. They’re both already tipsy, and are making a game out of swatting each other’s asses and then acting like one of the other rowdy bar patrons around them is the overly friendly culprit.

It is 3am and I had a long night at work and a bit too much to drink as a result, so if this comes across snarky or snippy I'm super-sorry and I didn't mean it to it is a legit honest question but I am not toning well right now. Obviously, you are not happy with the way the manga is going. I think one of its issues is that it had only so much space to play with--you had a set number of pages, and that was it. So especially in light of the Giant Sailor Moon Canon Voltron, I'm curious: (1/2)

(2/2) given a similar amount of space, if you had to tell all of the story that was in the original–e.g. no “let’s just skip an arc for space’s sake”–what would you do differently from the actual manga that you think would make it a better story? Like I’m sure it can be done but as someone who masters in talking too much I’m fucked if I can imagine how. I AM KIND OF HOPING YOU HAVE MORE AND OR BETTER IDEAS THAN ME.

Not snarky, no worries!

“How would you rewrite the entire manga in the same amount of space” is a pretty huge fucking question though, and to be completely honest with you, I don’t care enough about the manga to try and fix what I find wrong with it (which is basically everything). But let’s talk about some stuff for a bit!

I don’t think that “there’s a space limitation” is a valid excuse for … well, anything, really. This isn’t a constraint unique to Takeuchi, it’s a truth for basically every form of professional media we have. TV shows have a very set and firm number of minutes they’re allowed, movies generally have about two hours to tell their story from start to finish, books and novels and short stories all have some degree of length constraints, comic books are churned out week after week and for the most part adhere to the same number of pages. I said this repeatedly when I was watching Crystal, but the problem isn’t how much time you have so much as it is what you DO with that time.

Let’s take the final act of the Black Moon. Specifically, let’s look at how limited time and space was used in that chapter. I’ll break the whole thing down, STRAP IN.

  • pg 1-5 (5): Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen disappear
  • pg 6-10 (5): NQS wakes up and emerges from the palace
  • pg 11-17 (7): NQS talks about power, sends Chibs to help Sailor Moon
  • pg 18-24 (7-1=6): In space, Usagi and Mamoru reaffirm their love
    • minus one page where Planet Ryan is spooky and threatening
  • pg 25-28 (4): Chibi-Usa is “born” from their love and they kick Ryan’s ass.
  • pg 29-34 (6): Crystal Tokyo is revived, everyone gets a free power up.
  • pg 35-42 (8): Goodbye to Crystal Tokyo
  • pg 43-49.7 (6.7): Usagi says goodbye to Chibs
  • pg 49.7-54.7 (6): Mamoru and Usagi say goodbye to Chibs
  • pg 54.7-54.9 (.7): The Inner Senshi split a panel for their welcome homes
  • pg 55-59 (5): Chibi-Usa’s back

It’s the end of the arc, so let’s be a little generous about some allotment of space and try to focus on parts that are overly bloated or incidental to the plot.

Immediately, we’ve got five entire pages of something which can be resolved in two panels, but let’s say we steal just two pages.

NQS waking up, easily another two pages we can steal.

YOU CAN CUT EVERY LAST SECOND OUT OF USAGI AND MAMORU IN SPACE IN MY OPINION, but honestly, six fucking pages is so unnecessary, so I’m taking half.

The entire Usagi/NQS meeting makes me grumpy for so many reasons, but it absolutely does not need eight goddamn pages of “BUT I WANT TO MEET YOU BUT I CAN’T BUT I WANT TO BUT I CAN’T OH FUCK IT”. Granting some artistic indulgence, I’ll just take two.

You know what, I’m already at nine pages (NINE PAGES), I can stop. What would I do with those nine pages?

How about one each for the Inners getting to return home? Actually you know who hasn’t hugged them or welcomed them back or said she missed them or was so worried about them? ANY OF THEM TO ANY OF THE OTHERS OF THEM INCLUDING FUCKING USAGI

Rei was missing since LITERALLY THE START OF THIS ARC, and Usagi has yet to actually say her fucking name. So yeah, one page of my nine for the Senshi (ALL the Senshi, looking at you manga Usagi) to actually show they give a shit about each other. Then a page each for the Inners to show them returning home. What kind of relieved but knowing looks did Grandpa give Rei when she returned home after being missing from anywhere from three days to three months ?(seriously how long was she fucking gone) Did anyone water Mako’s plants while she was missing, or are they all dead now? Did Ami have a series of lies and excuses on her lips, only to discover that the note she’d left for her mother since just after Rei was taken is still unread? How is Minako quietly (or not so quietly) coping with having once again been the only Senshi when she lost her girls?

Five pages down. I’ve got four left.

How about one for Pluto actually being dead? Let’s be generous, let’s give her TWO. Pluto gets a fucking memorial. Even if “our” Senshi can’t be there, let’s see it in Crystal Tokyo. You don’t even have to have words. Chibi-Usa lost and mourning. Her mother maybe tentative at first, unsure after so long, but then providing the direct comfort and affection she sometimes struggles with.

Those are ideas just off the top of my head that would have improved just this issue tremendously for me, AND I STILL HAVE TWO PAGES.

The problem isn’t limited space, the problem is limited caring.

i am very scared, confused, and curious as to what this 'Hadaka Shitsuji' is, if my wapanese is correct the title means 'Naked Butler', but the screenshots didn't look that bad (not the google one anyway) you sure you don't wanna explain it? (like the way you did with sweet pool)

OH ALRIGHT FINE

Hadaka Shitsuji (Naked Butler) is a BL game made in 2011 by the studio Mada Koubou. What a lot of people don’t realize is that Mada Koubou isn’t actually a company- it’s just one guy. The only other people involved in the production of this game are the voice actors (including the great Kazuhiko Inoue whom you’ll recognize as the voice of Kakashi from Naruto or Miyagi from Junjou Romantica). All the other voice actors are either haven’t been in anything else or are using aliases (and for good fucking reason!). Also according to a very reliable source, the creator’s own mother and brother were involved in the making of this shitfest. :I It’s just a very bizarre thing that shouldn’t exist if there is really a God.

The game itself stars Tomoaki Maeda- a college student living in a shitty little apartment and paying his way through life working part-time at a restaurant. He’s not exactly a nice character and does a lot of complaining, but don’t worry- he gets a lot fucking worse later. One day, out of the blue, an ad comes in the mail about a full-time job that pays a butt-load of money per day and all you have to do is sit and do nothing. Doubtful of the ad’s legitimacy, Tomoaki steels himself and goes to the address on the ad anyway.

When Tomoaki gets there, he’s greeted with the sight of a huge mansion and a young man dressed in a snappy suit welcoming him in the front yard.

The young man introduces himself as Sakuma (voiced by Kazuhiko Inoue)- the head butler of the estate. He explains that the master of the manor is away and the ad Tomoaki received was an application to watch over the mansion for a month until the master returns. Tomoaki is still very skeptical, but follows Sakuma inside anyway.

Upon entering the mansion, Tomoaki is given the run-down of the entire place by an elderly gentleman named Mizoguchi.

It’s Mizoguchi’s job to tell Tomoaki everything he needs to know as well do everything he says. He’s basically exposition the character and he explains further about the master being away and Tomoaki taking over for 30 days. Basically, he tells Tomoaki that he has free access to everything and anyone in the manor. He can eat, do, steal, etc. anything he wants. Of course, this also means that all the servants in the house must obey every order he gives- no matter what. His word is absolute and for someone like Tomoaki…. power is a horrible thing to give. :/

Sakuma gives Tomoaki the grand tour of the mansion and introduces all the other butlers in the house. First, we have Arisato.

Arisato is the youngest and while he may look about 12- don’t worry, he’s totally legal. He’s a little clumsy and still learning about what it takes to be a great butler like Sakuma, but he’s real cute so you’ll have to excuse him.

Next is Toudou. Toudou is the bara character who looks big and tough on the outside, but is actually just a big teddy bear who gets flustered easily and is really quick to apologize.

Sakuma leads Tomoaki out into the garden and introduces him to the gardener, Ichinose (bless you Ichinose im so sorry about what happens to you </3). Ichinose is shy, timid, and connects more with plants than he does with people. Tomoaki thinks he’s creepy and weird right off the bat but he’s actually a big sweetie uNLIKE YOU TOMOAKI GO FUCK YOURSELF.

Back inside, Sakuma leads Tomoaki to the kitchen and introduces him to the head chef, Komine. Komine is fun-loving and bouncy as heck. Also probably has ADD or some kind of head trauma. Also he has a kansai accent, which is actually really effing adorable okay (ugh komine im so sorry about you too fUCK)

There ain’t much of an overarching “story” per se- things just kind of happen depending on which butler Tomoaki talks to regularly. And you’ll have to forgive me since I haven’t even played the whole game and the routes I have played I must’ve done over a year ago. :/

Basically, the idea is that Tomoaki is an evil douchebag to these poor boys. Over time, he becomes physically, emotionally, mentally, and sexually abusive towards all of them and the good endings are the ones where Tomoaki makes them submit entirely to his will until they are broken of mind, body, and spirit. D: Playing the game makes you feel like you’re in the head of a fucking serial rapist who’s only interest is making innocent people suffer because he fucking can. So if you like rape, bondage, physical abuse, cum eating, bukkake, water sports, cum inflation, cross-dressing, food play, voyeurism, beastiality, gang rape, torture porn, sado-masochism, people as public toilets, penis nipples, and all that fucking ahegao, you are in for a treat. Me, on the other hand…Fuck you Tomoaki. :I

Also I’d like to mention that the voice actor of Ichinose and the voice actor of Tomoaki are actually best friends. Because that’s not fucking weird.

College AU with Yoosung and Saeran

Okay SO. I just… couldn’t figure out how to write an easy drabble with this because in order for Saeran to actually go to college I would have to change his entire childhood? So… here’s the result of starting down that route. It’s… like an introduction, a first chapter, if there’s interest in me continuing it…and it’s told in first person because I felt like it, okay? Anyway. It’s not edited, yet, I plan to do that in a bit on my phone so forgive any mistakes… Anyway, here we go…

The Star in the SKY

Ch 2 | Ch 3 | Ch 4 | Ch 5 | Ch 6

I first met my best friend and my boyfriend when I was 12 years old. Not that I knew it at the time, but there they both were, following my cousin Rika’s boyfriend into her house, matching sets of red hair and golden eyes staring at me. They were identical and I was in awe; I’d never seen twins in real life before that moment. The only physical feature that distinguished one from the other was the set of round glasses one wore, but their personalities were another matter. The one with glasses had a wide grin on his face and was nearly vibrating with excitement while his brother stood behind both him and V, watching me with an expression I didn’t understand at the time. I definitely did not hide behind her legs at the intrusion, and I certainly didn’t stutter when one of them spoke to me.

Let me back up a bit. My name is Yoosung Kim and I’m a 22-year-old college student at SKY University. My major is veterinary medicine, although I’ve lost a lot of my drive to complete my classes. In fact, the only reason I reliably come to school anymore is because of Seven driving to my house and dragging me there. I’m not sure why he’s so insistent since it’s not like he goes to many of his own, but every morning he’s at my place without fail. Well, he was, but recently his life has changed in a way that’s causing him to become even more reclusive than normal, which is not a good thing. I had hoped the days of me forcing him out of his apartment were long gone, but apparently not. He won’t even let me in to speak with him right now, something I find incredibly irritating since the only other way is to learn Arabic to get past the completely unnecessary lock he has on his door.

Honestly, what 23-year-old does that? Puts a password-coded lock in a different language on the door to their apartment on the 12th floor? My best friend, that’s who. Whatever.
