Enemies to friends to lovers is literally my favorite trope. I will never tire of seeing two characters go from hating each other, to tentatively feeling out a friendship, to slowly developing feelings for each other and then falling in love. It’s painfully cliché and i want to see it e v e r y w h e r e. (based on this text post)
we put these jellybeans on a scale when i was trying to think of all the things i like about you. and i was trying to decide what i needed to do. it means you riley. i choose you. and i really want you to choose me.i do. i always did. i have something for you too.you do?we have this one little life, and for a lot of it, we just blow around in the wind. but if we’re lucky and we believe that life knows what’s best of us, sometimes we land on the right person to talk to. i’m glad i fell into your lap.so am i.
csi appreciation week - day 6: favorite quote(s) 1/?
I love so many quotes from all these amazing seasons of our show that it’s really hard to choose only one or the few. But this Warrick’s quote is so true that it’s always somewhere in the back of my mind… Because we all know and hear all the time that life is short, that we don’t have much time etc…we always hear about deaths of young people or even kids… but we don’t really believe that life can really be that short as long as something terrible happens close to us.
That’s why he really realised that only after he almost lost Nicky even if he’s job was connected with death for so many years…
“He focused on Luke once again, and saw his son was crying. Yes, that was it; he was tasting the boy’s grief – because he looked so horrible; because he was so horrible.
“But he wanted to make it all right for Luke, he wanted Luke to know he wasn’t really ugly like this, not deep inside, not altogether. With a little self-deprecatory smile, he shook his head at Luke, explaining away the unsightly beast his son saw. ‘Luminous beings are we, Luke – not this crude matter.’”
