He had his own blaster out and fired a cluster of tight shots above her head. Jyn could only guess one of the rebels had been aiming the explosive her way. Cassian had shot one of Saw’s rebels to save her life.
“Tell that to the one who killed our men.” Jyn looked to Cassian. In her mind’s eye, she saw him fire his blaster in the plaza, felt the grenade explode over her head. She remembered the cold, guiltless sensation that had passed over her then; shame found her now, gripped her heart, and she tore through it with anger.
Kanako: Oh yes, I’d like to have kids and a happy family if I can.
Mao: Me too.
Akiko: Then we should all get together again someday with our children.
Mao: Yes, let’s do that!
Mao: And we can all skate together…
Akiko: We’ve been working so hard for a long time…so let’s all become happy in the future.
Kanako: Yes, let’s.
Akiko: For sure.
Mao: Yes, for sure. ♥
These two have lied to each other for the entire duration of the show, and their connection has proven to be something that overturned both their lives, often for the worse. The flashback to Cosima’s initial discovery of her patented genes, and her admission of her illness to Dephine (who is the first person she tells) also provides a glimpse into why she’s stuck with this thing so long. The bond is tied up in a heady cocktail of sex and love and rebellion and the person who was there for her at what was probably the worst moment of her life. Who wouldn’t get hooked on that?
Saw a man refusing to let his pregnant wife off the porch because he “saw a rat the size of a dog and I will NOT let it bite you, please go back inside darling”. Made me wonder how protective the Maheswaran’s were of their baby.
it’s 4:30am but me and @julieandem are too busy hyperanalysing, and we just realised something.
sana’s make up. and how much it differs in scenes based on the people she’s with. just this week alone, the biggest contrast/examples were:
in the scene with even and isak, sana’s make up is so soft? and minimal. barely there. sana’s worn heavy make up looks in S1/2 before in school too, but, ever since S3, especially around isak and, now, with even, her make up look she has on is such a natural, “i don’t have to try too hard” look:
compared to the scene with the girls and the balloon squad, where, it’s so much more … fierce? bold? certain? strong? stamping an authority and some sense of power.
…. and i think that’s pretty telling of how sana is like around different types of people, or rather, who she has to be vs who she is.
and yeah, i’m gonna keep an eye out for her make up looks this season, particularly in the scenes she has with the boys and the scenes she has with the girls, and see if … it means much or not.
ARCTURUS BLACK AND LYSANDRA YAXLEY’S THREE DAUGHTERS
Callidora, born in 1915, the oldest sister, she was married to Harfang Longbottom and had a son a daughter.
Cedrella, born between 1915 and 1919, the middle sister. She was disowned and burned from the family tree for marrying the “blood-traitor” Septimus Weasley, with whom she had three sons, one of them being Arthur Weasley.
Charis, born in 1919, the youngest sister. She was married to Caspar Crouch and gave birth to two daughters and son.
She was quick, but Marshal could do incredible damage to her with only one successful hit.
But no one would’ve thought that, looking at her stance. She was so ferocious and so protective and so, so wildly outmatched. She stood her ground. He had never seen her so angry before. Odd, alarming, and warming that she only brought her fiercest self out when protecting someone.
