me now to my new classmates that i’ve known for a few days: so um do any of you listen to hayley kiyoko or halsey? pitch perfect is my favourite movie! you should really watch one day at a time, it’s on netflix and really funny! do you know orphan black? it’s great!
Being multi-fandom isn’t for everyone. Not everyone has to like boy groups. Not everyone has to like girl groups. People don’t have to know everything about a group to be a fan of them or their music. This is okay.
okay but can we also talk about the fact that in blade runner 2049, officer k isn’t the kind of protagonist who is just this invincible badass as portrayed by so many lead males in movies lately??? like even from the beginning of the movie, k is constantly having to fight against people who are his match. the fight could easily go the other way, and k doesn’t win every fight he’s in. he has to struggle to win.
it’s become so predictable that the protagonist is going to triumph in movies, and the fact that k doesn’t win every single fight he’s in does add some very real tension to the movie. the fight scenes in blade runner 2049 have the best tension i have seen in a long time.
not only that, but the fact that k does make mistakes in fighting and is constantly covered in his own blood and bruises and wounds throughout the film makes you root for him even more. because he’s been through hell through the entire movie. he’s not some invincible hero. he’s more real than that.
Q: Who do you consider great fashion icons? Tina Turner is someone that I admire, because she made her strength feminine and sexy. Marilyn Monroe, because she was a curvy woman. I’m drawn to things that have the same kind of silhouettes as what she wore because our bodies are similar. Jackie Onassis, because she was so classic and chic. I collect vintage photos, and I actually have a wall in my house of so many of these women. Nowadays – GaGa. But I admire her for everything she does. She is just amazing, as well as a really genuine person. −Beyoncé for GQ (2013)
I literally was just trying to sleep because I have to function tomorrow and in the middle of my nap, I was awoken by the devil telling me to write this fic right away. And I sort of got carried away. Also shoutout to me. This is my first Eddie-centric fic. I love my dead gay son so much. i’m going to call out @rememberingtozier because look !! I wrote fluff, who knew I could ?!?!
Words ;; 1850 ･ﾟ Pairing ;; Richie Tozier / Eddie Kaspbrak ･ﾟ Warnings ;; FLUFF BOYS, Strong language, pot smoking mentioned, an overall gay vibe
❝ — Richie had been crashing at Eddie’s the past week or so. The two had yet to really touch on the fact that Wentworth and Maggie had yelled at Richie to leave and never come back . Eddie hated that he had to see Richie like this. So broken and defeated. He felt like he was unwanted, abandoned. He craved attention so much. It explained why he was the front runner for class clown five years in a row. But Eddie and the losers knew the truth behind all the ‘your mom’ jokes and dick puns. He was all but homeless as of a month ago and still made an effort to make his friends laugh. It was incredible. He was incredible.
do you think Sun & Moon is targeted towards international fans?
“When my moon rises, your sun rises”
This could represent the different time zones since international fans don’t live in South Korea (shocker)
“When will I see you again, at the end of a long journey, want to be together”
This could represent how they sometimes go abroad (the long journey) to meet the fans but when they come back home they want to see us again.
“The two of us are just like one”
This line could potentially represent how NCTzens empower NCT and give them the energy to perform, and they in turn, empower us; make us feel happy.
This also could link to the lines: “Even if it’s a different space, that my hands can’t reach you, I can still feel you” showing how our compliments and love for NCT doesn’t go unnoticed and even though we aren’t with them often, they still feel the love we have for them.
OMG GUYS!! Thanks for 1000 followers! As I have said before, when I created this account, I never thought I would get more than 2 followers. And now look how far we’ve got, thank you so much for this. And thank you for still loving and supporting this little show (which should have stayed longer on Broadway) for 10 months since it closed.
“There’s a certain standard women are held to because… I don’t know. So many women nowadays are so loud about it. We need to cause a bit of uproar, because I’ve seen it. I’ve experienced it. It’s absurd.”
Finally I watched Atomic Blonde and what a good movie. The setting in Berlin 1989, days before the wall fell, with the audience following all the movement on TV and on the streets, as well as the Characters of the film. The incredible soundtrack, 80’s has the best songs btw. Hollywood needs more movies with action scenes as good as Atomic Blonde. The choreography is great, you feel the impact of the beating along with Lorraine and she get hurts (a lot). Fuck the thing that the heroine cant get hurt so as not to ruin her pretty little face. Thanks for the realism in this question, because guess what, in a fight, people get hurt.
Damn, that hurts. If was me, i probably ll be dead lmao
The shooting style of the action scenes was perfect, letting you know what was going on and where. No that crappy shaking camera and 12515251 cuts in one scene, as so many action movies do nowadays.
This sequence was Awesome
I loved the twists of the movie. And let’s go to the controversy, the death of Delphine.
You should’ve been a poet or rockstar. ;(
I saw a lot of people complaining about her death using the “bury your gays”, but guys, Delphine did not die for “shock value” or because she was Queer. She died for not knowing how to play the game Lorraine and Percival had played for years. If she was a man, she would die too. Btw, a lot of people die in this movie. Atomic Blonde is not quite the movie you watch waiting for a happy ending, with a couple coming together at the end. So who went to see the movie, thinking that Lorraine would be together with Delphine … Or that everything would end well, with everyone alive. You watched the wrong movie. And I liked how they treated Delphine and Lorraine’s sexuality so naturally, almost “You Me Her” style. Where the characters are there and they are simply that, without much explanation or drama on top of that.
heyho~ i just wanted to let you know i’m already working on the new pages but i’ve got so many work to do nowadays that i’m quite slow with this one :( next week there’s going to be an anime convention in the capital and even if i’m not attending this time i still have to finish almost 3 cosplays for order @__@ hopefully i can finish the new pages by the end of next week… T__T and hopefully you all will be still interested in the story XD until then have a look on viktor’s shiny-shiny forehead~ :3
AN: See, what’d I tell you? Give me asks and I give you fics. Haha. Kidding2. Okay, lemme clear up a few things. One, I have NO idea what’s it like on the Teen Wolf set, or any film set for the matter, so I made it as vague as I can and if there is any discrepancies, blame my imagination. Maybe tell me, gently, so I don’t make the same mistakes. Two, this is my first Cody Christian RPF but this is not my first attempt at writing him. He’s a complicated man to write, I’d give him that. He might come of as out of character, he might not, but I’m trying. Three, you might recognize the OC’s name, because I really like that name and all of my OC’s share the same name. If you want, you can picture a different face for the character.
Avery and Cody didn’t exactly get along when they first met. This leads to a little love/hate relationship between the two. Could there be more?
Bad summary, but give it a whirl. Just something I cooked up. And without further ado, I give you, Mr. Cody Christian, everybody.
Avery came to work with a scowl. It was the day she had been
dreading for weeks, the day that they would be filming the infamous torture
scene for episode 15 of the last season. It was not that she hated the sequence
or anything, it was just that the scene needed the werewolves to be wet
and she was dreading how much one particular actor was going to enjoy getting
A scoff passed her lips when she thought of one Cody Allen Christian. Out of
all the actors of Teen Wolf, she had trouble dealing with him the most. She thought him vain, attention-hungry. Her
first impression of him was that he is one of those gym rats that works out all the time, confident of his body and his looks and
unashamed to flaunt it whenever he could.
It’s not that going to the gym are bad or anything. To her, it’s okay to exercise to keep healthy. It’s just that these body builders tend to get arrogant and
overboard. And looking at Cody, she could see that he treats his body more like
an amusement park than a temple. He had no qualms showing his abs or flexing his arms whenever there are people and cameras around.
