Readcomiconline.to is where i usually go. whenever i can i buy them to support the creators, but monthly comics get expensive. plus the only comic book store near my house is filled with creepy guys who stare at me…
okay, here’s what I’m going to do. As of right now, I’m not dropping any threads. I thought I’d have to–yknow, the whole “starting fresh” thing. But I’m pretty sure I can manage what I have and am too excited for my threads going on to get rid of any of them <3
HOWEVER Since I’m still easing back into the groove of things, I’m probably going to be starting out with short threads; if we have longer threads going on, then I apologize but you’ll be waiting even longer to get a reply from me. We’ll see how I feel after replying to some things and if, at that point, I need to drop anything.
I have a dumb question so forgive me, but what is the difference between the Framework Jemma and Daisy are entertaining vs what the rest of the gang are in? I mean, why will Jemma and Daisy be able to know the world is fake and will be able to continue their mission but everyone else thinks that world is real.
It’s not a dumb question! And I think the whole thing with the Framework is a bit confusing, so let me try to muddle through.
Remember in the previous episode when Fitz and Jemma put Coulson and Daisy into Fitz’s test version of The Framework? Daisy and Coulson were both aware of the fact that they were in a Virtual Reality, and that they were controlling “avatars” of themselves in it. That’s why they came out of it being like “Oh man, that was so cool and seemed real”!
Now, as I understand it, that’s not the case with Radcliffe’s framework. The way AIDA inputs everyone into The Framework is that they’re not aware of the fact that it’s not real. She makes it their “new world.” Jemma and Daisy exist in this universe by virtue of it being an alternate reality, but they weren’t placed in by AIDA so they don’t get to live it as the others are. They entered in the same way Coulson and Daisy did in the previous episode; they hacked in/entered on their own. That’s why they’re aware of themselves, while the others are not. (And this is proven by Daisy’s call for “Lincoln” when she sees something about her boyfriend.) She’s just replacing the Daisy that exists without agency in this universe, just she has her own agency now. Obviously, we don’t know what Jemma being “dead” in this universe is going to mean for her exactly, but I suspect she’ll still be in The Framework—alive—in whatever capacity they decide to make it work for the plot.
I hope this clarifies the question you were having (sorry, I find it hard to explain myself!), and if you have any follow up questions, feel free to hit me up again ♥
hey if you get a chance to meet or even see any of the boys tonight, remind them how much we all love them okay? even if you're just sending positive thoughts on their way but yeah, i just want them to be happy so bad
I’ll try to let them know the entire galaxy is rooting for them 👽✨
Okay but like, headcanon that Pidge took a bunch of spare tickers and reprogrammed them in her spare time to act like rudimentary smartphones for all of them. She programs a space twitter onto it and everyone is instantly hooked
Lance: Hah, look guys! Keith only has six followers on Space Twitter, how lame!
Keith: Lance, there’s only six other people on the ship.
Lance: Pfft whatever mullet, still lame.
Keith: *goes to Lance’s page, hits unfollow* Hey guys, Lance only has five followers on Space Twitter, how lame.
Well since I’ve been on a roll with Anti and Dark universe (and have a whole story if Id just write it all down lol) @fangsmagicandinspiration came up with a dark version for Ethan at @crankgameplays. Say hello to Corroded Crank!
He was made out of a botched summoning/creation spell, the two key ingredients being the blood of the pure (Ethan in this case) and material for the physical body (Rusted, Corroded metal in this case) and due to the metal already being destroyed, it corrupted the final result and now we have our poor metal friend who is constantly falling apart and is a little self concious about all of his useless bits and bobs and bad welding and such. His whole skull is cracked open but he usually covers his brains with a wig.
I tried to keep him creepy and corpse like considering hes still suppose to be a dark half for Ethan, but when hes all put together I still think hes pretty cute! I imagine he moves sorta like the FNAF animatronics, very heavy but twitchy and jerky. I hope you like him! Me and fangsmagicandinspiration (aahah i need to call you by a name bc thats a mouthful) always have the BEST brainstorming sessions! Such a good egg, good friend, good writer. Go check them out!!!
