so just figure it out yourself

fangirl-from-stormwind  asked:

Hon if you get the chance, you gotta show me how you set up your TRP profile. I downloaded it once but couldn’t for the life of me get it figured out 😅 So I use MRP instead. But I’d love some help if you wouldn’t mind and have the time!

Oh yeah I can help! Just first off, make sure it’s downloaded in proper and up to date. Also helps to double check to see if you have the addon enabled.

At your minimap, the TRP symbol should be there. You can move it around too. You can click on that to open up the TRP editor.

Or you can click on yourself, and click there to “show character page” and edit that

Either way should open up the pop up window to the TRP addon. You’ll see the home screen that looks like this.

Go to ‘Character’ (if you click on yourself, it should take you to this page first)

Here you’ll have the options to set up your profile for your character and fill in details!

Just play around with it, read the tabs and stuff and it should be pretty easy to figure out how to set everything up

here’s a video where they talk about all the details for the addon too

hope that helps!

Hi! I’d like to know what color fits me best for where I’m at and where I’m going :D thanks xx

Your colour is Sapphire! The phrase given with this card is “Regenerate Your Body” and it talks about healing and nourishing the parts of yourself that need it right now. Maybe they haven’t been cared for, or maybe they’ve just become blocked or stagnant and need a burst of sapphire’s power to bring them back into alignment.

(You may also be in a situation where this is something you’ll be called to give to others, so figuring this out for yourself may be considered some job training)

  64. Watch people talking. Join a chat and “spy” others if you don’t feel like talking yet.

  74. Break study time into smaller chunks
  75. Know your learning style.
  76. Try to have a notebook/diary/agenda where you write down what you did daily to improve.
  77. When you feel like giving up, think how many new stuff you have learned.
  78. Your attitude plays an import role. Try to avoid thinking how “difficult” a language is, instead think how good you will feel after you learn it.
  79. ReadLang and Linguarana have videos with subs in many languages, if you like learning with videos, give them a try.
  80. Anki is an amazing app with flashcards for several languages so you don’t waste time making them and they have a daily limit of cards so you don’t burnout.
  81. Physically writing down a word can help seal it in your memory.
  82. Say new words out loud and pay attention to your pronunciation.
  83.  If your target language has another alphabet or a writing system, don’t be afraid to learn it. Take a couple of days and master it.
  84. Always have an app or a dictionary/notebook with you. While you wait for a taxi you can study a bit.
  85. If you don’t understand a grammar rule, search some articles about it, take 2-3 days to understand that concept.

@ girls/women who just figured they’re a lesbian: i’m so proud of you!!!

@ girls/women who just figured out they’re bi: i’m so proud of you!!!

@ girls/women who just figured out they’re pan: i’m so proud of you!!!

@ girls/women who just figured out they’re sapphic: i’m so proud of you!!!

@ girls/women who just figured out they’re wlw: i’m so proud of you!!!

@ girls/women who just figured out they like girls/women but aren’t sure of what identity they are just yet: i’m so proud of you!!! please don’t stress yourself out with finding the right label you’re perfect with or without one!!!

You know what breaks my heart? Kids who were always told that they were too smart and used to be overachievers but now they have depression and anxiety and other mental illnesses and can’t recover because the bar was always too high for them and they just sit and suffer silently watching everyone else get on with life while trying to be what they used to and trying not to commit suicide but they can’t talk about it because “You’re smart you’re gonna figure it out yourself ” .
Nothing is more disappointing than knowing that no one will help you as you sink deeper and deeper into darkness and believing that all your high hopes and dreams will remain dreams forever.
I feel you kids. You are not alone .

the most difficult thing to understand when i was figuring out that im actually a lesbian who was experiencing compulsory heterosexuality is that comp het isn’t just forcing yourself to like men

you can really, genuinely have warm, positive, strong feelings towards men and they can still be comp het. because comp het is the assumption that any feelings that you have towards a man MUST be attraction because society talks all the time about hetero love and attraction so when you feel something towards a man you think “oh, this must be what it’s like”. and then as part of “discovering your sexuality” you try to find ways that you find men attractive. you think “i’m not attracted to physical appearance, only personalities” or “i only like feminine men” or you find ways to make yourself aroused by men by imagining them in all kinds of kinky and unusual scenarios until you hit one that appeals to you

and then when you can’t follow through with this ‘attraction’ in real life scenarios when you have a chance to have a romantic/sexual relationship with a man you assume that’s it’s some broken part of you that’s stopping you, or some quirk of your personality, or a circumstance of your life (”i have high standards” or “i only like older men” or “i have some incredibly obscure made-up sexuality where i only like men until they like me back”), and you explain away why you’re unable to find an attainable man in real life who you’re attracted to.

and this is something that’s really difficult to recognise because in the process of figuring out your sexuality you question how you feel and you come back with “well i definitely have strong feelings for men” and assume you’re straight or bi. but another important thing to question is “have i correctly labelled and understood what this feeling is and am i certain that it’s actually attraction”

society puts so much emphasis on the importance and intensity of heterosexual love and attraction that it’s important to actively remind yourself that it’s possible to love someone and have a deep interest in them without having romantic or sexual feelings towards them (especially if that love comes along with another intense interest, like your feelings towards a fictional man in a tv show you love)

Just Autistic Things™:

  • “I’m hungry but we don’t have the incredibly specific food that I wanted guess I’m not eating today”
  • Room is messy but I know where everything is so what is the problem???
  • Hearing Bad Noises in public and trying not to visibly freak the fuck out
  • “I wanna do something but I don’t know what I wanna do and also if I figured out what I wanted to do I probably have too much executive dysfunction to make myself do it anyways.”
  • Wanting so badly to read a book/watch a movie/tv show that you force yourself to even though you’re zoning out the entire time.
  • Feeling a thing turning into a special interest and DREADING what that means
  • People making fun of your special interests and that Silent Pain when you have to pretend to laugh it off because it’s “just a joke” but you really can’t hear criticisms about the things you’re deeply invested in.
  • School/work doesn’t matter as much as special interest does???????????
  • Like why should I be stuck here when I could be researching/reading/watching things about my special interests :/
  • People saying “Oh I totally understand what you’re going through, I have a cousin who’s autistic” (EVERYONE has a cousin who’s autistic????)
  • People saying “you don’t LOOK autistic” or “oh I never would have guessed but now that you SAY that….”
  • “I want to do something rebellious but what if I get in trouble??”
  • I’m So Tired™

here are some of hanzo’s entertaining hots lines seeing as both wikis seem to lack transcriptions

  • [if you keep clicking on him] WHAT? SPEAK.
  • [if you keep clicking on him] have you nothing better to do? no, of course you don’t, as i expected.
  • revenge is never a straight line. it’s a forest. and like a forest, it can be most enjoyable.
  • every year, i sneak into shimada castle to honour my fallen brother. you’d think at this point, the clan would just close the gate.
  • garrosh is PROUD of his tattoos, but can they summon a pair of SPIRIT DRAGONS? HA! DIDN’T THINK SO.
  • it’s not my fault if people want to pick me all the time. they simply recognize greatness when they see it.
  • IT IS NOT ENOUGH THAT I SHOULD SUCCEED. OTHERS SHOULD FAIL.
  • they say that ‘perfect’ is the enemy of ‘good’. so i guess i’m a villain after all. [laughing]
  • heal yourself before you become a burden.
  • if you do not heal yourself, you will die.
  • a talking fish? is this a JOKE?
  • overwatch? ha! so you are the ones for whom my brother betrayed his clan.
  • your archery is keen, but your heart is SOFT. compassion has no place in battle.
  • crossbows? ha, toys for CHILDREN
  • ha! save your concern for yourself.
  • you DARE to disrespect me?
  • you could train for a hundred years and STILL not reach my level.
  • this conversation bores me. it ends now.
  • you can either be silent, or start making sense.
  • [probably talking to the monster heroes] whatever you are, just stay out of my way.
  • [probably talking to the monster heroes] whatever you are, i suggest you prove yourself useful.
  • your words are a waste of breath.
  • so you’ve heard of my skills before? good. your ideals are childish. open your eyes to the real world.
  • that armour… you look ridiculous.
  • yes, you will soon witness what a TRUE archer can do.
  • you are no TRUE dragon.
  • is that the BEST overwatch can offer?

1. he continues to make fun of other sniper weapons (rifle and crossbow)
2. there are references to both his murdering genji and interactions with genji who is another hots hero, so just try figuring that mess out

also just bc it’s on my mind @high schoolers community college is a very real and viable option and if you’re in the position to do so or aren’t really sure where you’re going right now i would recommend spending a year or two at a community college to figure things out and maybe get your associates degree before you transfer like there’s no reason to stress yourself out at some expensive university right away if you don’t have to

Aries: Taking the easy way out was never good for you. You’re better than this town and it’s demons. I hope you know that. I hope some day you manage to see past it all.

Taurus: It’s okay that you need to cling to memories. To keep all the love letters they wrote for you. Some people will never understand. But every time you see your picture, you see so much more then just another ghost.

Gemini: Stop picking open old wounds. There’s no infection left there. You just need to let it sit and heal. Let the memory fade back into darkness.

Cancer: You can’t smoke drink or fuck your disorder away. I know you want to. But hiding behind a cloud of smoke and long sleeved hoodies

Leo: Draw your arrows. Now is not the time to just lay down and die. Get up. Get up and learn to fight again. Know that you are worth fighting for in every way possible. That you are something amazing.

Virgo :Stop going back to the places that parts of you died at, just to torture your self. You can’t keep running the knife across your skin, then wonder why you’re bleeding. It’s time to recover.

Libra: Don’t be afraid of the person you see in the mirror. Being alone just gives you time to figure out who you are underneath all of the bullshit of everyone else. Learn that spending time alone doesn’t mean being lonely.

Scorpio:It’s okay to relax every once in awhile. You can not stay on vigil 24/7. Even the best soldier has to rest. It is time to rest. To ease yourself into calm.

Sagittarius: Everything heals. You won’t need them forever. It won’t hurt forever, just for right now. This kind of pain is temporary.

Capricorn: Shrug off all their assumptions. They don’t really know what you’ve gone through. You’re not whatever their saying about you. You’re so much more then all of their bullshit rumors and lies.

Aquarius: Do what is best for you. Even if it means leaving others behind. Sometimes you have to claw yourself up from the very bottom. Sometimes you can’t have other people there with you. But it will be okay. You will be okay.

Pisces: Stop trying to run from it all. You can’t deal with it if you can’t face it. Look up and acknowledge what happened. As terrifying as it all is.as shocking and heartbreaking as it was. You will get through it.

15 Difficult Things About Being A Very Intuitive Person

1. It can be hard to tell the difference between an intuitive feeling and just… a feeling. You know that if you treated every passing feeling like an intuitive nudge you’d probably have lost your damn mind by now, so you have to be discerning about what’s a ‘gut feeling’ and what isn’t.

2. It’s hard to convince someone of something just because you ‘know,’ and harder to not say “I told you so” when you’re right. There’s nothing more frustrating than knowing a ‘feeling’ isn’t a compelling argument… except after you were right about said ‘feeling’ and the person you were trying to convince would have saved themselves some trouble had they just trusted you a little.

3. You only want to do what’s ‘right,’ but figuring out what’s ‘right’ is basically your #1 life struggle. You know what it’s like to be able to discern what’s “right” (most positive, most helpful, most beneficial, etc.) in any given moment, and the gratification you get from acting on that inherent knowing. Unfortunately, this can also leave you susceptible to only wanting to act on what’s best, when figuring that out is sometimes a process of trial and error.

4. It’s hard to play dumb when you know people are being dishonest or disingenuous with you. And if you’re being honest, sometimes it hurts to be able to tell someone finds you annoying or wishes you weren’t around as much. It’s probably the biggest downside of being hyper-sensitive to what’s around you, but also probably saves you from spending time with the wrong people.

5. You can be very indecisive, as they say: the clearer the choice, the louder the cry to try and choose otherwise.

6. We live in a world that values thinking over sensing, yet our subconscious minds are much more powerful than our conscious ones. And that’s exactly what you’re tapping into when you have that “intuitive feeling” – your subconscious intelligence. A major reason people doubt themselves is because this typically isn’t seen as valid as conscious choice-making, though we already know the opposite is true.

7. You rarely realize that not only can you intuit ‘truths’ but also ‘possibilities’ (hence being prone to intense anxiety). There are usually multiple potential outcomes to any given situation, and the more you are conscious of one, the more you are conscious of the (less likely, more unfortunate) others.

8. Sometimes, it’s better not to be hyper-aware of (or sensitive to) everything that’s going on in the world, it’s exhausting. You can start to feel as though the world’s problems are your own, and that gets overwhelming when you realize that you alone cannot solve them. (Good news, they’re not – they only feel that way because that’s how you perceive them.)

9. You find joy in understanding things, so you’re quicker to think about them than you are to enjoy them. You sometimes have to remind yourself (or consciously re-teach yourself) to just sit back and enjoy life. You’re so busy putting the puzzle together, you forget to kick back and check out the bigger picture, which is pretty great, too.

10. Not everything requires an in-depth emotional analysis. In fact, some things are best served by leaving them alone. Figuring out the difference between what is and isn’t is a delicate dance that you have to learn to master.

11. Your hyper-sensitivity is something you have to protect. It’s really easy for people to take advantage of you and your empathetic capacity (intuitive people are almost always very empathetic).

12. You won’t let yourself continue doing anything that doesn’t feel ‘right,’ even if that’s the easier (or more logical) choice. Your life is totally subject to how you feel about it, even though in reality, you would be better off seeing with a touch of logic and objectivity now and again.

13. You always find yourself asking people ‘what’s wrong,’ because even the smallest micro-expressions can read to you as ‘off.’ Alongside being hyper-aware of things like this, you have a hard time just letting them go. It feels like seeing a burning fire and just walking away.

14. You feel everything more acutely in general. You take everything seriously, and seem to feel everything with more intensity than other people do (for better and for worse).

15. You take on other people’s problems as your own. You sometimes confuse ‘perceiving something being wrong’ with it ‘being your responsibility to fix.’ Your challenge is in letting yourself perceive a situation, yet also just letting it be what it is at the same time.

You felt naked, you hadn’t been ready to let the world know you were completely in love with Byun Baekhyun, but at the same time, you couldn’t help but feel a little relieved. The weight of keeping it hidden was gone off your shoulders but they still remained sagged from the pain in your chest.

hello there!! have you been doing well, angel? if not, this is a gentle but firm reminder to get your shit together. but hey, why shouldn’t you be proud of yourself? you have conquered so many years of your life and - no don’t you dare try to be modest, every single tiny achievement matters. + I’m here to tell you that failing is NORMAL. everyone fails at one thing or another but succeed at another. And if you feel that you aren’t successful at anything, then darling you haven’t tried hard enough.
alright alright, before I begin ranting out of the topic, let’s get started.

note: this is a part of the get your shit together masterposts. To view the other articles in this category and to view the topics in this that I’ll be covering in future, go here.

avoiding negative feelings

the biggest reason why I don’t have that many negative thoughts (note that I said “many” and not all. I too have bad days once  in a while) now because I realized that I, and only I, am completely on my side. I’m there for me at all times, throughout my life. And doesn’t it sound stupid to be against the only player on my team?

once i realized that, it become so much easier to work at par with myself and to love myself. I became more patient with myself, started embracing my flaws and loving the person that I was. sounds pretty cringy? that’s only because we don’t talk about these things and we feel they aren’t worth talking about. However if you really want to conquer life, loving yourself is the most important layer in this many layered cheesecake and yes, i like food.

cheat code: so how do avoid negative feelings? the answer lies in realizing your worth and capabilities and being on the same team as your own self.

dealing with negative feelings

now we come to the part when you are having negative feelings. Everyone has bad days and negative feelings but you can deal with ‘em in a better way than feeling low and wasting your entire day. and here’s way number one -

figure out what triggered you. when I have a bad day I sit down and list down what exactly provocated the bad day. these were my reasons -

  • someone said I was being annoying
  • I didn’t get much done that day
  • I felt gross and untidy

then, find solutions to those problems.

  • hey, everyone don’t have to like you. you are proud of yourself and that’s enough.
  • Make a list. Do those things. I don’t care if you’re tired, do those things. If you don’t do them, you’ll feel guilty and that’s never fun.
  • god, just go take a shower again. (taylor, you stink.)

as you see, the problems were really petty and solutions are pretty simple. but remember that these problems aren’t negligible. this method works bc once you figure out solutions to them, you figure out a method how to fight them so that the same problems to affect you again. Now I know that when I feel gross I need to take a shower and not roam around like a stinky animal. See what I mean?

lastly, realize that these things are not worth you losing control of yourself and walking around like a dead zombie #rip.

sometimes I have negative feelings because I feel under confident or not sure about something. when this happens, which leads me to way number two - I have a convo with myself.

ok mate, why do you feel down? um I don’t feel sure about this presentation. what if I screw this up? what if the teacher is like this is so shit?? what if I never get to eat donuts again???

seriously? well, I can assure you that donuts aren’t going extinct. as for this interview, listen child. you have prepared for this shit, you can do it. doN’T freak out and don’t think you can’t ace this. you can, trust me.

talking to myself not only helps calm me down but also gives me a sense of purpose. That I have promised myself to ace this and I cannot let myself down.

loving yourself

  • understanding why

why should you love yourself?

bc you yourself crave the feeling to be loved. isn’t being in love simply magical? Well, so is being in love with yourself. it is even more magical tbh. this is bc you are with yourself 24/7 and when you start loving yourself you become much more aware of yourself and you have able to work much better since you are able to identify your flaws and strengths. Remember when you used to bitch about that girl on whom every guy had a crush and you none? (same fam #LongLiveTheHobos) Turns out that someone does have a huge crush on you. Love yourself, your brain craves for you.

  • take yourself out on dates

raise your hand if you think dates are great. I agree. They are even better when you go out to a restaurant bc like food is great. it is super important that you take your own self out of dates and not only bc you are hungry but bc a conqueror (yAS THOSE ARE MY PEOPLE) knows the value of taking time off for himself. These are not simply slogging through the weekend and binge watching Netflix, mind you. That’s a huge waste of time, froind. A conqueror makes a date official. cheat code: remember that your dates have to be memorable and most importantly, well earned. Here’s a checklist to make your dates more special.

  • positive energy, check.
  • more smiles and hugs, check.
  • a happy mindset, check.
  • and how about a list of things that you can do for yourself?

the turn a bad day around challenge

here’s the first challenge of the get your shit together series! I introduced this bc readers said that the topics on here were easy to say but harder to carry out.I do agree with that but hey, I never said that getting your shit together would be easy. by completing the challenges you can implement the ideas I’m trying to propagate here and also get a feel of having that particular area under your control.

  • task one: when you are having a bad day, sit down. list down the reasons why it was a bad day and why are you feel down. it can be as simple as not getting enough sleep and feeling grumpy.
  • task two: list down the solutions that you can use to overcome those problems.
  • task three: remind yourself that these petty problems cannot cost you your valuable time and that you are a badass bitch and you can handle everything.
  • task four: make a to-do list. I know you haven’t done no shit today so now is the time to shine. don’t put like a thousand things on the list tho lmao. three - four would do enough for the moment.
  • task five: do those things. seriously, do them.
  • task six: (and this is the nicest one) treat yo'self!! you have literally turned around a bad day and done so much shit! you have successfully conquered this day, a day which would have been spent lamenting and getting nothing done. maybe go treat yourself to some delicious pumpkin pie from a bakery (share with me pls); you really do deserve it!! I’m so proud of you :^)

and that’s it, it’s a wrap! if you have any questions/suggestions regarding anything I said up there (or maybe you just wanna talk about food), feel free to send in a message! my other masterposts are here and to request a masterpost, leave your question in my ask box!

I hope you all are well, stay safe and conquer life, you amaze conqueror :“)

If you don’t have BPD read this

I’m so tired of the stigma associated with BPD. (Borderline personality disorder) it makes me angry when I see the judgment of it from people who don’t have it.

Borderlines are not all the same. This is not a one size fits all illness. Not everyone is going to have exactly the same symptoms. We are all different. So when people without it, “diagnose” and think you don’t have it because you’re not doing this symptom or that symptom is irritating. Unless you’re a doctor I don’t believe in your “diagnosis”.

Not all borderlines are monsters. Again, NOT all borderlines are monsters. Every time I hear how we are narcissistic (no sweetie that’s a separate disorder get your disorders straight), violent, manipulative, attention-seeking, abusive, dramatic, etc. the list can go on of judgments. We aren’t all monsters okay? A lot of us are actually kind, loving people. That’s part of why we have episodes. The end result is always us wanting to die. It’s never how we think you should die. We always take blame for everything. Even if a borderline doesn’t tell you that out loud it’s true.

BPD is not like bipolar disorder. Yes, it’s similar but it’s also very different. Bipolar is a chemical imbalance that you can balance out with medication. BPD is not. Bipolar mood swings are spaced apart typically by weeks or months or days borderlines have mood swings that severe within minutes. And it’s in the genetic makeup of our brain. You can only truly treat it with DBT therapy and even then it never truly goes away.

You don’t need to be admitted to a mental asylum if you have BPD. DO NOT say someone with BPD is crazy or psycho or anything like that. If the person with BPD says it about themselves that’s one thing. If you say that to a borderline you’re going to set them off. Also be aware that what a borderline says while they have a mental breakdown is not always true. When we have our episodes and are upset, we say a lot irrational things.

FINALLY, best for last. What is it like to have BPD? It feels like you’re drowning. All the time. You can’t even trust yourself because you’re constantly having this battle in your head between you and the disorder. You have literally no or very little control over your emotions. And that’s not just an opinion, a doctor will tell you that as well. It feels like you have a separate personality that is evil and bad and horrible and you have no control over it. Hence why it’s a PERSONALITY disorder. Or you feel like you have no personality and you can’t ever figure out who you want to be. So you’re constantly in a never ending search of who you are and it’s exhausting. Oh, and here’s a really important tip. Don’t slut shame a borderline. The high sex drive is literally part of the disorder and is classified as a symptom. Don’t be a judgmental prude about it. The borderline is already aware of it and feels bad enough about it.

End the stigma. Raise awareness, not the suicide rate.

It’s like time has slowed to an ambling crawl, and all that ever exists has ceased to matter; except in this room with the three of you standing, facing each other like fighters in a ring. All you’re aware of is the way your breath has frozen over in your chest, and the way Jeongguk is clutching something so tightly in his hand, mirroring your own fisted palm.

“Jeongguk, no,” the sound of your voice pierces through the tense atmosphere, and is that really your voice? Why does it sound so unconvincing, so lacking in resolve, so broken? You clear your throat and attempt to try again, because your eyes are locked on Jeongguk’s own milky caramel ones, filled with a murky rage that threatens to break past the surface. “Jeongguk, this is not what it looks like, I swear-“

He only responds with an acerbic laugh that’s short and cutting, and it makes every breath you take feel razor sharp.

It was terrifying how much could change in a year. To think that just a few short weeks could change everything about you was daunting, but true. When you had left life felt like torture, like everywhere you looked there was something waiting to mock you. You were broken, your heart all but ashes when you boarded the first flight away, but you knew it was what you needed to do. You needed time away from it all to figure out what you wanted, to figure out who you were without all of the things you’d grown so used to. It was hard, leaving it all behind, like you just gave away a piece of yourself with no plans of ever getting it back.

Loving Byun Baekhyun was hard, but letting that love go, was harder.

“Your turn,” Dean hands you the shovel, “I dug the last one.”

“Oh come on Dean,” Sam protests, “she’s had more than a month off, she-”

“She’s standing right here,” you look pointedly at Sam, taking the shovel from Dean, “I got this, you boys just stand there and look pretty.”

Sam rolls his eyes, Dean chuckles, “Do you remember how to do this sweetheart, it’s been awhile.”

“Shut up, even rusty I can dig a grave twice as fast as you,” you can’t help but smile, pushing the point into the ground, taking out the first shovel full of dirt.

“Do you want me to time you?”

You flip him off, continuing to dig as they talk for a bit, discussing the corpse that in a matter of time you will be salting and burning. After about ten inches, another shovel hits the hard ground a few feet from yours and you look up to see Dean there, “You were moving too slow.”
