i'm going to be brutally unflinchingly honest and say that dennis AND mac would cry after having sex for the first time. it would be just an absolute weepy mess in that bed (or wherever they fuck, it's entirely possible it won't be a bed). dennis's mascara is running and so is mac's nose.
“I’ll be looking for you, Will, every moment, every single moment. And when we do find each other again, we’ll cling together so tight that nothing and no one’ll ever tear us apart. Every atom of me and every atom of you…We’ll live in birds and flowers and dragonflies and pin trees and in clouds and in those little specks of light you see floating in sunbeams…And when they use our atoms to make new lives, they won’t just be able to take one, they’ll have to take two, one of you and one of me, we’ll be joined so tight…”
Knowing that Kaitlin isn’t going to get any industry recognition for Dee this season is making me kind of angry. She’s always fantastic, but there’s something about these last few episodes that have been especially wonderful.
1-Look at Hero or Hate Crime, when Charlie confesses that they’ve been smoking together:
In a matter of seconds, she goes through several emotions-
slight confusion from Charlie’s plan to cover smells
surprise that he told them about the smoking thing
betrayal/ ‘what are you doing?!’
Notice how she freezes, leans just slightly forward, then farther back
She makes three facial expressions that, in progression, show her feelings
At the beginning, “aw that’s really sweet, I love him”
Middle, she snaps out of it and looks at the other guys
Lastly, she has a regretted look on her face because she knows she has to rip Charlie up… but remember in The Gang Misses the Boat when Charlie and Dee have a conversation and Charlie says the guys make him do stuff he doesn’t want to do and Dee says it’s peer pressure? I think she ripped Charlie up because a) she’s afraid of her own feelings, and b) she feels peer pressured into doing it
3-Then later in The Gang Tends Bar-
I originally meant it to be funny, but it’s still important.
When Mac gives Dennis the rocket launcher
She looks kind of happy for Dennis. Her brother is making some progress and actually has feelings and cares about things, and got a gift that he loved, which probably means more after his confession that he’s hurt that they never get him anything for valentines.
Maybe even glad that Dennis has Mac, and that being an “old married couple” and the “codependency” she accused them of is actually good.
That if Dennis can show such raw feelings in front of everyone, and he and Mac can have their thing, then maybe it’s okay to accept that she does feel lonely, and there may actually be some kind of connection with/ feelings for Charlie.
Mac and Dennis really have strong feelings for each other, and she’s gonna have to continue sharing a bed with two people who are in love with each other.
(2 was taken from this post, so I take no credit for that great observation)
I wanted to try new watercolors on this but I almost ruined it all. Because if you use a cheap set of watercolors that is actually really good and you buy another set by the same company (because they apparently don’t sell the one you have anymore), it has to work as well. Hahaha, it was a trap.
Anyway if you want me to draw your fave Pokekishi design, please drop me a message or ask, I may consider doing it.
Basically Alfor is there like ‘Coran no!’ and Coran’s there just ‘Coran yes!’
Honestly Coran was such a rebel. He always was, it’s just since he’s with Alfor he mostly gets away with it. Alfor is Done.
Coran rambles a lot about the things he likes and knows, explaining the history of different places and 101 uses for nunvil, stuff like that. Alfor doesn’t always understand what he’s saying (though he tries) but he loves listening to Coran talk, see the excitement in his eyes and how he gestures with his hands
But when Alfor actually knows about the topic they’ll often get into deep debates. About anything. Coran gets very obviously passionate and angry, as does Alfor but he’s a King and knows how to keep a cool head even when his blood is boiling. It infuriates Coran. Even worse when Alfor gets super passive aggressive.
They had a lot of petty arguments, particularly when they were younger, but they could always put it aside when something important came up. It never changed how they felt about each other.
Alfor has some tough days ruling a kingdom and being a King, looked to for decisions and so much, and at the end of such days Coran is always there to treat him like an actual person. Alfor can let his guard down and just be with someone who genuinely knows him, flaws and all, and his still here.
