so basically

  • A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.
  • B - A pairing–platonic, romantic or sexual–that you initially didn’t consider, but someone changed your mind.
  • C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.
  • D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.
  • E - Have you added anything cracky/hilarious to your fandom? If so, what?
  • F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?
  • G - Have you ever had an OTP? If so, do you remember your first one? Who was in it?
  • H - What is your favorite source text for fandom stuff (e.g., TV shows, movies, books, anime, Western animation, etc.)?
  • I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?
  • J - Name a fandom you didn’t think about until you saw it all over Tumblr. (You don’t have to care about it or follow it; it just has to be something that Tumblr made you aware of.)
  • K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?
  • L - Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves. (Characters you’re neutral about are fair game, as are characters you merely dislike. Characters that you absolutely loathe with the fire of ten thousand suns are exempt, as there is no point in giving yourself an aneurysm over a character that you hate.)
  • M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.
  • N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).
  • O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?
  • P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).
  • Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.
  • R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?
  • S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged)
  • T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?
  • U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.
  • V - Which character do you relate to most?
  • W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.
  • X - A trope which you are almost certain to love in any fandom.
  • Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?
  • Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go! (Prompts optional but encouraged.)

we took the doctor/companion relationship to a place that’s just more real, much more damaging and with more consequences. it can be a thrilling, exciting relationship but actually it can be a dangerous one too. what we did this year felt like what it would be like if a young girl got into a very intense friendship with an older time traveller.”

the darkness really comes from the complexity and danger in the friendship between the Doctor and Clara. a lovely and wonderful and warm and serious friendship though it is, if occasionally explosive, it’s a troubling one.”

….does anyone else suddenly have the powerpuff girls theme song stuck in their head

I don’t see why willdip cannot be sweet and affectionate. People tend to exaggerate things for this au, but I think it’s pretty simple: enemies in canon, lovers in fanon

comic book meme → [3/5] favourite teams → Avengers Academy

↳ “Remember why we were recruited to Avengers Academy? Not because we were the best, or the most heroic. Quite the opposite. Because we were the most at risk of becoming criminals. Say hello to the bad guy.”

Tbh literature really needs more queer women in all walks and stages of life–we need some way to see the span of the possibilities of our lives. And we really need a significant majority of them to be happy.

What I really want to see at some point is like a pair of grandma-aged lesbians as major (not even necessarily viewpoint) characters. Maybe they’re the neighbors to the protagonist, and the protag shovels their driveway and mows the lawn bc the lesbian couple is too old to do that, and in return they’re always inviting the protag in for tea and giving them hand-knitted scarves or homemade jam or pies and essentially grandmothering the heck out of them. Also, they own like 6 cats and have potted plants everywhere. But then when the Scary Monster Of The Story attacks the town, it’s these old ladies who defeat the thing with ant spray, a walker, and a miniature cactus, because they survived being gay through the entire second half of the twentieth century, and they take no shit from no one.

(And they both survive the monster and keep on knitting things and raising cats for the next 20 or 30 years.)

So basically

BBC just put lesbians in a midsummer night’s dream and it was wonderful

See, normally the ending is all about the restoration to heterosexual, patriarchal social order- both Titania and Hippolyta end up submitting themselves to their respective male partners. But the BBC was like ‘fuck it Theseus is a prick, lets just kill him’ and then the ladies kissed and everything was magical (literally)
