so are we getting a second season

E! Online || Will a Twisted Ankle Impact Normani Kordei’s Dancing With the Stars Finale Redemption?

Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy are out for redemption, but could an injury sideline their plans for the top prize? The Dancing With the Stars pair are going into the season 24 finale in second place after a stumble during the semi-finals.

“Last week we had one of our most challenging dances,” Normani says in the exclusive clip above. “The judges saw a stumble…it just shows anything can set me back. Any little thing can be the reason why I don’t get the mirrorball.”

For their redemption dance, the pair are taking on the quickstep again, their first dance of the competition. “Watching the quickstep back, honestly, it didn’t seem so quick,” Val says.

Val and Normani are just one point behind Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater on the leaderboard, so their performances in the finals are even more important. And that makes the injury Normani suffers in the clip above even more stressful.

“All of my body weight came down on it really hard and it just…,” Normani says about her ankle.

“This couldn’t have happened at a worse time,” Val says. “I just feel terrible. This is a week that’s already really intense and she’s never going to admit that she’s hurt.”

But Normani gets back up. “I’m good,” she says.

Is she?

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays, 8 p.m. on ABC.

guys I missed having canon victuuri feels and I am still rewatching the anime (probably will do until we get second season) and I just noticed something from the ending song

I am sorry if this has been done before but LOOK AT THIS

so we all know the ending song is instagram posts (and idk why I never thought about pausing to see what they have written under the pictures until now)

so we have this one first and under it victor wrote this

Nakasu in Japan, where is that?

oh look it’s all the way in fukuoka! an hour drive away!

did he drive there alone? he couldn’t have gotten all the way there only to drink alone, take the train?

and trust me you wouldn’t want to take a train to another city alone when you have a Japanese friend to save you the trouble of getting lost

so yeah why not take yuuri on date, that he doesn’t know is a date, yet

(notice he is wearing the same shirt from the previous post) it’s already morning

oh time-

flies so fast

when does time fly so fast? when you enjoy it and don’t want it to end

let’s take a look at how they look at each other again

and I can’t work out what yuuri is holding but I’d like to think its a stuffed poodle they won at an arcade or something

Still got many years ahead to grow together 🌻

I’m glad we’re not getting a Season 2 this year

I’ve seen people disappointed about the movie, and wanting a Season 2 in October.

My perspective is… This is the BEST NEWS THAT I HAVE HEARD in this fandom, hallelujah.

The biggest enemy that Yuri on Ice has always had is its own success. When your show is basically printing money in DVD and merchandise sales, you can bet that the higher ups are breathing down your neck. Do more. Do it now. Do it faster. If you find a goose that lays golden eggs, by all means, make that thing lay as fast as it freaking can, and while you’re at it, can you make those eggs any bigger?

I have seen success absoutely ruin amazing shows/series/book series/etc. Over and over and over again.

This is particularly true when the show/series/book series has a strong romantic subplot, as Yuri on Ice does. That’s because often, in order to keep people who are invested in the romance invested, shows tend to do one of two things: 1. Keep people from getting together long after any reasonable person could imagine that they’d be apart, or 2. Add ridiculous drama to keep splitting them apart and then getting them back together.

I trust Kubo and Yamamoto. I don’t for one second trust bean counters. And I absolutely do NOT want to see someone splitting up Yuri and Victor in nonorganic ways just to keep some unnaturally stupid tension. Yuri on Ice was magical because it was made with love–every aspect of it–and every time the show surprised us, it was with how much more love was in the show than we’d ever imagined. But it is hard to manage that fine line between enough internal tension to move the story forward and that love that makes Yuri on Ice utterly magical.

When I heard details about the production, I could sense that love. They traveled to every venue, constructed the story around what was actually possible. The spirit of everywhere they went to pervades each scene. You can line up shots of where they were with anime scenes. The way they constructed characters, their skates, the music for their skates, how it all fits together to tell an overarching story about love in all its forms, something that is utterly compelling and yet lacks villains. Even details like putting the wedding rings on the right hand. This is storytelling at its very damned best, at every level, and I’m on my knees to it.

And you want them to do what they did in years for season 1 in a matter of months? It’s not possible. Not with the site visits. Not with needing to construct characters with respect and love. Not with commissioning music. Kubo was talking on Twitter today about visiting Mexico, and the idea of her taking Leo’s heritage as a Mexican American so seriously, and with such respect, in a time when Mexican-Americans are being absolutely vilified in this country, makes me almost weepy. That is what I want–that love, that respect for what they do.

The very, very worst thing that could happen to Yuri on Ice is for the second season to be made with money in mind rather than love. I would rather have no second season than to see someone push this show to become more “mainstream” (read: toning down the queerness, fuck that), or for them to not have the time to develop a story line that continues season 1 with the mastery and the love that made it so special.

The fact that they’re taking their time is the best thing I could have heard. We can get it fast or we can get it good. There’s plenty of media out there that comes out fast. There’s a reason this one was special. Everyone who wants something fast, well, there’s plenty of crap out there–feel free to be a fan of it.

Have a little patience, and trust the people who brought you this piece of genius, who have every financial incentive to take as much money as possible. If they say you’re not getting a season 2 this year, you better believe that it’s because they can’t do it well.

Two years may sound like an eternity, but a crappy season is the thing that actually lasts forever.

So this is a totally useless rant, but as a skinny girl, I’m getting extra, extra tired of fat-shaming.

I work for a corsetier at a Renaissance Faire. We sell corsets. Not flimsy bullshit costume corsets; like real, durable, waist-training corsets. Today a woman came in with her boyfriend, so I helped her pick out a corset and try it on. While her boyfriend—who was decidedly enthused about the whole corset thing—sat watching me lace her in, he told me, grinning, “Of all the good jobs at the Renaissance Faire, I think you have the best.”

I shrugged in agreement. “I touch butts and reach down cleavage all day; I mean…” Because we like to be a bit rakish at the Faire, and, y’know, it’s true. Tying people into corsets pretty much invariably requires getting handsy.

The couple laughed at that, and the boyfriend said, “That’s the job I would want!” But then he chuckled again and said, offhand, “Or maybe not; while we were looking at the racks, there were some pretty big sizes on there!”

Our sizes are all done in inches, and the biggest we make is a 46. And you’d better believe our large sizes sell. For a second I wasn’t sure what to say to the guy’s comment, but I answered him casually. “We get a lot of beautiful big ladies in here.” Because we do. “We make corsets for real women, not Barbie dolls,” I added. Wasn’t trying to be smart, just kind of tossed it out there because that’s the line we like to use when people ask about larger sizes, and because, again, we do.

The boyfriend went quiet at that; I didn’t think anything of it, I just kept on lacing. A moment later, he said, a little awkwardly (but sincerely enough), “Didn’t mean to be offensive.”

I quickly smiled and brushed it off, said he wasn’t, said I was just saying. (Don’t want to make the customers uncomfortable, you know?) And that was the end of it. His comment had rubbed me the wrong way, but it wasn’t a big deal. Now, I wear a 20-inch corset. I’m a few cup sizes short of being one of the Barbie dolls. Like his girlfriend, I’m one of the “hot chicks”; he doesn’t have to worry about offending me by implying that I wouldn’t be fun to poke and pull at.

Honestly though, of all the people I fit sexy technically-undergarments to in a day, fat girls are maybe my favorite people to lace up. Because they are just so damn happy that we have stuff that fits them. They are so damn happy that the corsets we make in their sizes are all the same pretty, shiny colors and cool flower/dragon/skull/etc. prints that the smaller corsets are, not ugly beige and boring “granny” colors. They are so goddamn happy that at least one (of several on the grounds) corset shop carries things that they can wear, that they actually want to wear, and that they look fucking awesome in. This is only my second season working, and we’ve fit 60+ inch waists and double-K busts. The only people we’ve ever had to tell sorry, we don’t have anything that fits them, are twelve-year-old kids.

It’s half-wonderful, half-heartbreaking how excited those women get. Women who say with sad smiles, when we ask if they want to get fitted, “Oh, no, you don’t have anything that fits me,” and then are stunned when we’re 300% confident that yes we do, and we have options. Women who can’t stop smiling and looking at themselves in the mirror after we’ve got them laced in.

I had a lady last week whose waist I measured (cinching the tape tight, as per procedure) at 41 inches—honestly not all that big. So she picked out a 41-inch corset to try on. I could tell halfway through getting her laced that it was going to be a bit big for her, so I mentioned it and said she might do better to try a smaller size. She started crying on the spot. She was so overwhelmed; she couldn’t believe someone had just told her that a 41 was too big. She told me about how hard clothes shopping was for her, how her mother would tell her she needed an XXXL instead of an XXL, how she had recently lost weight but still couldn’t wear certain colors because they didn’t fit or she wasn’t confident enough.

She did end up getting her corset, and after I checked her out she asked if she could give me a hug, so we ended up standing there hugging each other for a minute. While we did, I told her, “Do not ever let anyone tell you any bullshit. You are gorgeous.” She said, “I have a new boyfriend and he keeps telling me that.” I told her he was right, and to just keep telling herself she’s gorgeous; it was okay if she didn’t always believe it, but to keep telling herself anyway. (That’s how I talked myself through shit when I had bad anxiety.)

We all know fat-shaming is bad. The stupidity, fatphobia, and misogyny of it has pissed me off since I first became aware of it. But working with clothing, especially as figure-hugging and precise as corsets, has given me a new perspective on it—how much it affects people and just how shitty it is. Like, what does it say that I had a grown, only average-big woman crying into my shoulder because she was so overjoyed not to be the uppermost extremity of what a manufacturer can clothe?

My job rocks and it’s really rewarding, but sometimes it highlights some of the ugliest shit about society. I’m so glad I work at a shop that’s not bullshit about body types and operates with more people in mind than just scrawny white chicks like me. The fat women I work with are a ton of fun to lace up, and they’re so much more than their size—they’re cool, they’re smart, they’re funny, they’re sweet, they’re great to talk to, and yes, they’re hot. I’m so damn done with them getting short-changed and shamed by petty fucks who refuse to make them nice clothes, who refuse to even try to work for them, who refuse to consider them pretty. This whole rant was useless and won’t get read, but I had to vent because it’s been driving me nuts.

So actually, screw you, random dude. Fat girls are the highlight of my job.

Shit my boyfriend said while I was making him watch Hannibal with me.

(note: we started watching in the middle of second season, specifically the last five minutes of Su-zakana, starting properly on Shiizakana. My boyfriend has seen the first episode, bits and pieces of the first season, and I briefly filled him in on the rest of what was happening, so his knowledge of the show up to this point is a bit spotty.)

Voltron/Avatar AU

Okay, okay, okay, so I know this has been done a million times by now, but I wanted to tackle the idea from my own personal narrative perspective. So, here we go –

 Characters:

Shiro – Gifted earthbender that was raised inside Ba Sing Se and was being trained as a member of the Dai Li before he was abducted by firebenders and taken prisoner. His abduction was a result of a plan by the Fire Nation to secretly infiltrate the Earth Kingdom and take down its most gifted benders. Before he was realized as being talented and brought in to train for the Dai Li, he lived in the lower ring of the city with Keith, who’d he’d long since adopted as a younger brother. They found out during their youth, however, that Keith was a firebender, which Shiro told Keith had to be kept secret. He encouraged Keith to learn his talents nonetheless, if only for self-defense. After he’s kidnapped, he loses his arm and his tortured, etc, and eventually develops metalbending out of sheer desperation to escape. Metalbending is what allowed him to create and use a metal arm as replacement for the one he lost. He eventually gets away—after learning that the Dai Li has been corrupted and secretly overtaken by firebenders—and goes back to the city to find Keith. But when he returns to Ba Sing Se, he comes home to find that Keith is gone and clearly has been for some time.

Keith – Firebender. A very good firebender, in fact, but too ashamed of his talents to really do much with them. He grew up with Shiro in the lower ring of Ba Sing Se—basically poor—and grows so distressed when Shiro disappears that he lashes out at the Ba Sing Se law enforcers. His status as a firebender is revealed and he has no choice but to flee the city. He’d planned on leaving anyway to go looking for Shiro, and so it becomes his mission to find his older brother—even if he has to search the entire world. Unbeknownst to Keith, however, he was tossed out of the Fire Nation palace as a baby because he was an unwanted bastard son to the Fire Lord. Also, spoilers, he’s the Avatar as well, but is unaware of the fact due to how subdued he’s been forced to keep his talents his whole life. Lots of drama for Keith, haha. Poor child just wants his brother back. Oh well.

Lance – Waterbender from the Northern Water Tribe. Prince, though he’s nowhere near being in line to become chief. Still, there are plenty of responsibilities he has, but he decides to run away in search of adventure instead, wanting—more than anything—to be a hero and stand out, basically. He’s had this plan since he was a child—was his dream to see the world—and so he spent a lot of time not only mastering waterbending, but the spiritual connection and teachings of the Northern Water Tribe, as well as healing despite the fact that, as a male, he wouldn’t normally know how to heal. Though he wasn’t the most gifted waterbender, he spent most of his youth studying and practicing in preparation for his big leap out into the world. As a result of being a healer and having studied the spirits extensively, he’s very knowledgeable, but generally keeps these things to himself (wants to be a lady’s man, not a nerd, basically). He is a bit spoiled nonetheless, and doesn’t have a real realistic idea of what’s going on in the world. He and Keith are both opposites and foils as a result of their upbringing and positions.

Pidge – Waterbender from the Foggy Swamp Tribe. Her father was an inventor from the Earth Kingdom, however, who found himself studying the energy levels of the swamp area before meeting her mother and promptly falling in love. Her brother and father are earthbenders, while she and her mother are waterbenders. And while she is trained in the techniques of swamp people waterbending, Pidge is far more interested in technology and the things her father studies. Her father and brother make regular trips into the earth kingdom—for research supplies, etc—and eventually end up abducted by the Fire Nation for being meddlers or something. Which inspires Pidge to leave her home in search of them, determined to rescue them much like Keith is aiming to rescue Shiro. She isn’t one to be trifled with, however. While she doesn’t have much interest in bending, she is trained and is more than capable of defending herself, as well as using the plants around her to her advantage. She and Lance practice very different types of waterbending as a result, but this doesn’t come between them or anything. They probably bond over it, actually.

Hunk – Earthbender. He’s from a small village to the north that is occupied by the Fire Nation and generally has no interest in getting involved with business outside of it. However, when Lance shows up and causes a ruckus (no doubt by accident), he gets caught up in it and ends up wanted by the fire nation and unable to return home because, if he did, he’d be putting his family in danger (they’re already in danger from the Fire Nation, but Hunk is kind of sheltered and naïve). So he ends up tagging along with Lance, deciding that he’d simply go to the Fire Nation higher ups and explain the misunderstanding, thus clearing his name and allowing him to go home. Obviously, he learns that this isn’t really going to work and that the conflict is much larger than he and Lance really realized. Upon seeing how people are suffering because of the Fire Nation, Hunk vows to do all he can to stop it.

Allura and Coran – The last two airbenders in the world. They were originally part of a secret society that—after the airbenders were basically destroyed—vowed to find the new avatar (who was murdered during the airbender raids) and return balance to the world. However, the society has basically died out and so Allura and Coran are all that’s left. They’re still going around the world, searching, but to say the mission has kind of become hopeless is a bit of an understatement. Still, they’re determined, convinced that if they can find the Avatar, they can stop the Fire Nation.

Story:

And so we have our misfit team of heroes whose paths eventually cross. Lance and Hunk come together first, and then probably end up with Pidge as a result of trying to help her (likely when she doesn’t need help), before those three maybe meet Keith in a prison where he’s searching for Shiro (they’re there because Pidge is looking for her family in the same place). Meanwhile, Shiro is hunting for Keith, knowing more about him than he realizes (Shiro knows Keith is the avatar, which is half the reason he was so protective over him. He probably saw him accidentally bend earth or something, but then lied and said he’d done it instead). He meets up with Allura and Coran, and as they have a shared interest in finding the avatar, they team up. Likely the two teams meet up as the finale of season 1 or something, where it’s revealed during a dramatic battle or something that Keith is the avatar before they all make a break for it.

Hunk and Shiro end up as Keith’s earthbending teachers, Allura is his airbending teacher, and Lance is his waterbending teacher (though neither are happy about it. Pidge doesn’t really have the knowledge to teach waterbending, or so she claims, though she does end up teaching Keith a thing or two as well). Water ends up being the element Keith has the most trouble with, which of course spurs antagonism between him and Lance. And when it’s revealed that Keith is actually a bastard prince from the fire nation, this makes things between him and Allura rather tense as well. While all this is happening, Lotor is around causing trouble like Azula did and we’re getting a more in-depth look at what Fire Lord Zarkon is really aiming to do. Basically he not only wants to take over the world, but the spirit world as well (which Haggar, his right hand lady and spiritual expert, thinks is silly—he should be content with the normal world, obv). Zarkon is looking for the avatar not to kill them, but to somehow remove the spirit of Raava and merge with it himself. This is becoming increasingly more difficult for him to do, however—especially with Keith getting stronger—and so he learns instead (maybe from the owl library that he forced his way into) about Vaatu being imprisoned and decides to instead merge with that spirit. Which is kind of what brings us to the season 2 finale. Probably the main group has split up because they’re fighting and they all get reunited in the end, where Keith tries to fight Zarkon and fails. And it’s Lance, who maybe shows up last, that uses his knowledge of spirits (which has basically been lost to Allura and Coran, despite them being airbenders) to separate Vaatu from Zarkon before a dark avatar can really be created. But as a result, he, Lance, ends up attached to Vaatu. Why? Because he and Keith were painted as foils for a reason, that’s why.

So basically Lance is all sorts of fucked up now, and is dealing with some pretty dark shit that Keith has to help him with, which kind of allows a friendship to form between them where there previously hadn’t been one. Through a lot of interaction and development between all the characters, they eventually come to understand that Vaatu being attached to a human is similar to having him imprisoned and that, so long as Lance remains uncorrupted, he should be able to function as a second avatar. After all, it’s about balance in the end, dark and light, yin and yang, and so while Keith and Lance seemingly oppose each other, they also complement each other. Thus Lance is the first Dark Avatar, a new avatar that will be reborn along with the original and will need to be trained in how to master the evil inside them or something like that. He gets to learn all the elements too, but probably isn’t a master by the time we reach the end of season 3, unlike Keith. Meanwhile, Zarkon is pissed and is like, fine, I don’t get an avatar spirit, I’ll create my own and he basically uses secrets taught to him by Haggar to harness raw spirit power for his own gain. Now he’s really dangerous and threatens all the worlds with potential destruction. And yeah, all of team avatar(s) have to work together to stop him!

I can’t decide if I should do a more in-depth outline for this or not. Like, one that reflects the importance of all the other characters, not just Lance and Keith, haha! Because, obv, they’re all crucial. I mean, clearly Shiro needs to have a personal connection to Zarkon, maybe even some kind of connection to the spirit world. And, like, I was thinking of trying to incorporate the lions as spirits of some kind too. I dunno–we’ll see XD

AND ON THE SECOND POSITION OF the “Take desperate to a new level” ranking, right after Even Bech Næsheim and his paper dispenser performance we have:

YOUSEF ACAR, Bakka. 20 years old who, in order to get to talk and be close to his crush, comes up with the excuse of being thirsty and brings up a conversation (and demonstration) about how to peel carrots off as well as football and children. His performance ends up with him getting nervous when his crush’s brother uncovers his master plan and tells him to stop flirting with his sister which unfortunately leads him to forget his drink in the kitchen which clearly demonstrates how extra he is and how thirsty (not for a drink tho) he is for Sana’s attention.

NOW PLEASE, GIVE HIM A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR HIS AMAZING PERFORMANCE.

Very good opinion about the Pewdiepie situation

Right, I am a media student and I need to say I have never ever been so ashamed of the media.

The media relies these days on clicks (reads) from viewers online since the internet is the main place people gather information so they clickbate there way into getting peoples attention (which is wrong) due to the fact the news should not be biest and should tell the truth from different points of views but instead we had “PEWDIEPIE LOVES HITLER” etc you get what I mean.

Main things

Disney no longer is in a relationship with pewdiepie-

This is understandable since pewdiepie (with these jokes) are more aimed towards an adult audience because a younger audience may not be able to understand that its a bad thing. Cool we get it BUT…. in 2014 disney made this deal with pewdiepie .. knowing he wasnt aimed towards any audience inparticular and swore alot in his gaming videos with adult humor … disney knew this but still made a relationship with pewdiepie so in reality disney knew he wasnt child friendly from the start.

Youtube red series scare pewdiepie season 2 cancelled-

Now heres where things get interesting… youtube had no reason to cancel this show as there is no swearing in the first series I can imagine there is non in the second but not only that.. South park… Family guy make jokes all the time about offensive humor and receive awards but pewdiepie gets all of this? This makes me question alot because youtube could of clearly made an age rating on the show and since it was nearly done I cant actually think of a reason that youtube cancelled it at all. I want an explanation as to why they did due to the fact the reason is missing.

The youtube ad platform - this is only for the videos that are deemed as basically PG or with some strong language ….. and things like that. With this I understand why youtube may have done this but at the same time I do not due to the fact they could of chosen the suitable videos themselves to be chosen for the ad platform instead of kicking him out.

After all of this… Disney kind of have a good explanation BUT DON’T due to knowing that pewdiepie all along wasnt aimed towards any audience. He swore in videos and made adult humor since they made the relationship. Youtube had no reason to cancel scare pewdiepie and did it to aboard the kill pewdiepie express… which is not right. the media should be ashamed of attempting to make this man look bad when in all reality he offended maybe a bunch of people in the whole worlds population and family guy and other tv shows slide past it like it was nothing. The media is to blame for this.. taking the mans words out of context and planting horrible images of the comedian in the eyes of the public.

my last words on this are

#istandwithpewdiepie

Sense8 is a shippers ultimate dream. I’m happy that Sun and Capheus got love interests this second season. I really liked Detective Mun and Zakia. I hope we get to see more of them. It’s sweet how Riley and Will are protective of each other. Nomi and Amanita are getting married! I love how both girls were planning on proposing. I want a love that is as patience as Lito and Hernando’s. Their “From Here to Eternity” moment was so cute. Kala and Wolfgang were this close to a happy ending. I need Wolfgang to be ok and to return to his Kala.

Yuri!!! On Ice Season 2 - Possible Release Date Being Announced This Weekend

For those of you who don’t know, this weekend Mitsurou Kubo, aka creator of Yuri!!! On Ice, and the directors, artists and voice actors of the show will be hosting an event known as Yuri!!! On Stage. Usually at events these kinds of events, big information is revealed, and that could mean we could be getting some information of the highly anticipated season 2.

Season 2 is already in the works, as animators have already begun working. News has revealed that Kubo should have the script for the next season before the end of this year. Staff members have also been making trips around the world, visiting St. Petersburg and Moscow on more than one occasion. So, this can confirm that season 2 will be taking place in Russia, with Yuuri training with Viktor for the upcoming FS season. (where season 1 left off)

Will we get a trailer this weekend? Who knows if we will. Fans who have been following the writers and staff of the show are highly anticipating one. And the staff is very aware of how badly the fans want their second season. Director Yamamoto stated in an interview that she has plenty of ideas that she wants to put into the next installment, and she came up with these brilliant ideas when she was editing episode 10 of season 1. (When Yuuri and Viktor exchanged rings).

This may hint to something happening between Viktor and Yuuri (wedding), but then again, I’m just assuming things and jumping straight to conclusions. Will we get a wedding in the second season? Again, it is unclear as to right now, but I would keep it in mind. (I sure hope we get it, tbh)

I will be keeping you all posted by giving you updates. If any of you have any questions, please feel free to leave one in my asks box and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

EXCLUSIVE: ‘Once Upon a Time’ Bosses Reveal New Musical Episode Secrets and If Colin O'Donoghue Will Sing!

Better start warming up those vocal cords, Oncers!

Production of the highly anticipated musical episode of Once Upon a Time is well underway and executive producers Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis are spilling exclusive new details to ET about what fans can expect when our favorite characters step into the spotlight.

Read on for inside scoop on how this episode will be a “huge part” of Once Upon a Time’s mythology, the many romantic “surprises” in store for fans, and if Colin O'Donoghue will be singing!

We actually started [planning] this around September,” Kitsis explained to ET over the phone last Friday. “There are these two composers that we met, Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner, who are big fans of the show, and ABC put us together with them because a musical is the one thing and the one request that fans have been asking for for six seasons.”

“It’s something we’re very excited about and we’ve been working on for a long time,” Horowitz concurred. “What we’ve also worked really hard to do is make this musical a part of the show, so it’s not just like a one-off episode or it’s not just like a stand-alone [special].”

You hear that, Oncers? The musical episode is not going to be some kind of a dream sequence or an alternate reality. It’s going to be a “real Once Upon a Time episode” and a key part in progressing the storyline of the series forward.

“It actually is a huge part of the mythology of the show and there are some big things that happen in the episode,” Hororwitz revealed. “Frankly, it’s been one of the challenges of doing the musical because we never wanted to do something where it was just like a to-the-side, one-off thing, and then get back to the main story. We want to see it part of the main story, which meant we had to really plan out this season with some great detail.”

Kitsis added, “And what’s fun about it is it’s the penultimate episode [of season six,] so the musical actually kicks us off into the finale.”

The musical, which begins shooting later this week in Vancouver, Canada, will feature seven songs including a solo from Jennifer Morrison’s Emma. But here’s the big question we wanted to know: Will O'Donoghue’s Killian also be lending his singing voice to the set list?

“Colin will be singing,” Horowitz confirmed.

(Deep breaths, y'all.)

There were no details provided as to what exactly O'Donoghue will be singing, but when asked if a duet between Emma and Killian is something the fans can expect to see in the musical, the EPs were coy with their responses. “We want to keep some surprises for the fans,” Horowitz shared.

“Yeah, but I would say this,” Kitsis continued. “If you were watching a Once musical, we approached it like a fan. What would the fans want to see and who would they want to see sing?”

“Well, you know you never know,” he teased when we pointed out that many fans would love to see a Captain Swan song in the mix. “It’s a show about hope, Leanne, and if you have enough of it, it might happen!”

As for Emma and Killian’s future, fans will be pleased to know that this second half of season six will “absolutely” feature many more romantic moments between The Savior and her swashbuckling leading man.

“What I can tease is that this second half will, probably, have the most romantic moment between those two in the six seasons of the show,” Kitsis dished.

(Remember to breathe!)

Many fans almost lost their minds when an engagement ring was featured in Once’s midseason trailer, so we’re curious to know if Killian might be finally be popping the question to Emma?

“At the end of the fall run of episodes, we teased that there was a ring,” Horowitz established. To which Kitsis added, “So somebody’s going to get it.”

“But to be fair, Henry did just take Violet to the dance, so we don’t know,” Kitsis quipped with a laugh.

New episodes of Once Upon a Time return this Sunday, March 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

I thought I was over of how bad s4 was but I'm not and it's now 4 am and I can't sleep. The thought that's making me loose sleep is why did they have to make Mary part of the team? It's just the two of them against the rest of the world, right? why did they have to love her and include her in the cases? Why can't at least Sherlock see how horrible she is? I know I'm being rediculous but it gets to me it really does

Hey same ridiculous insomniac anon do you know what gets to me too??? John cheating on Mary even if it’s texting… people argue that it’s in character he’s a womanizer after all but isn’t he the guy who’s loyal very quickly? What do you think?

Hi Nonny!

Yeah, I never understood why they went the route of making all of S4 essentially NOT about John and Sherlock. I liked the visuals of T6T and TLD, but Mary REALLY fucking killed it for me, especially the magical redemption arc they chose to give to her. The whole season felt really ooc for me, and Mary being more of Sherlock’s partner than John was REALLY rubbed me and many others the wrong way. The way the narrative was going, it SHOULD have been her being on the run FROM them, not working WITH them.

Because of this, I really, really feel like there is a false narrative at play here, that the entirety of S4 is being told like a blog entry (hence why they stopped the blog AND used the title of one of the entries to clue us into this fact) because of all the OOC-ness, inconsistencies, fourth wall breaking, “scene jumping” and the “fakeness” of Mary’s death and TFP. The season contains a sense of adventure,  is romanticized (though in the wrong direction), and fantastical elements, just like the blog. I found it SO bizarre that Sherlock CONSTANTLY kept saying “I’m Sherlock Holmes!”… just like John’s blog would have done. And TFP for me is John’s TAB, so there’s already an alternative narrative. Anyway, this went way off topic, but you get me. John’s blog is playing out on screen. Why, I don’t know; perhaps to show the general audience that not having John and Sherlock in the picture together doesn’t work, since most of the entries are told as if John is standing on the sidelines watching events unfold – ergo making the season seem very not-our-show. Plus, calling the first episode “The Six Thatchers” after a blog entry on John’s blog and ENDING the season with Mary narrating is so telling to me.

Second part of your ask: I AGREE. It’s really weird to me, simply because we SAW John was essentially done with dating by the end of ASiB because he was happy with whatever he could get with Sherlock. And it took him TWO YEARS to mourn Sherlock before he decided to move on, and for whatever reason, Mary was able to establish that trust with John within six months (I presume she emulated what she thought John wanted, but she’s a professional manipulator). He only stayed with Mary because he didn’t think Sherlock wanted what John wanted, and perhaps also some manipulation on Mary’s part, convincing John that Sherlock would never love him like she loved him.

So then when John is “cheating” I find it really OOC, if only because I just can’t see John ever wanting to get involved with anyone every again after the heartbreak of both Sherlock and Mary. Though, I still hold the belief that it’s really Sherlock John is texting in T6T, and we are told otherwise because of the false narratives (given that I think that the episodes are being told like a blog entry, it’s only natural to assume lies about the things truly happening are present). And maybe it was “just texting”, fine, but it just doesn’t really fit John’s character to me unless that person is Sherlock or unless John is doing another plan behind everyone’s backs with Mycroft (ie. the texting is coded and E is an associate of Mycroft). He has serious trust issues, even an emotional affair with some rando on the bus just doesn’t jive with his character arc they’ve built up over three seasons.

I don’t know. People say it’s in his character, but I just have a really hard time seeing it, especially since he knows the kind of person Mary is (killing Sherlock for trying to tip off John), like… I can’t imagine he would do that again. Mary’s complete shift from the character she was in S3 is what’s tipping me off the most about a false narrative, and as such we can assume the other characters may not be who they seem to be as well, at least in my opinion.

I love this screencap for several reasons.

  • They’re pouting
  • They’re pouting because Allura fucking throw green go at Pidge.
  • Pidge’s face screams: you dare to mess up with me bitch? bring it on.
  • Keith. Looks. So. Pissed. Why you dare to mess up with Pidge, Allura? Pidge is the darling of Voltron and you should know that already.
  • They’re pouting
  • Keith says, “Pidge go loose”, and then he fucking tries to attack the princess like can this guy chill.
  • They’re both amazing together and I hope we get to see more of their friendship in second season, all I’m saying.
deep, deep, really deep down: some more textual evidence in defense of lesbian vilde

so in preparation for the new (ahem, sana main) season, i’ve been doing a rewatch of season 2 and there’s a little piece of direction/dialogue that i think supports the reading of vilde experiencing compulsory heteronormativity throughout the first two seasons:

it starts in that moment where vilde sees noora and william kissing at the end of 5:12. even in my first watch-through of season 2, i thought it was a strange choice - the mold of skam is for us as an audience to experience events through the perspective of one character, right? so the decision to give us even a few seconds of vilde’s perspective actually makes a profound change to the way we experience the next few episodes.

it becomes most obvious in the conversation between noora and sana in 8:12: noora says she’s worried that vilde will be “devastated” when she tells her about william. in response, we get this sensational dialogue from sana:

…she knows. that william isn’t hers. deep down. deep, deep, really deep down. in the inner cells of her body, there’s an atom. in that atom, there is a proton. in that proton, there’s a small, sealed box. inside that sealed box, there’s another box. and inside that box, that’s where she knows.

Shadowhunters Season 2B Theory

I don’t think you can actually call them theories. More like some things I noticed and wanted to share.

Okay, so, we got a trailer for 2B and I watched it frame by frame (I also watched those two 10 seconds teasers again) and these are a few of the things I came up with.

  • PS: The bold parts are the “main theory” I have for what is going on on the picture.

First of all, based on the trailers/sneak peaks we got for 2A, the clips are (obviously) from different episodes, and because for 2A they used scenes from episodes 1 to 6, I think those scenes are from the episodes 11 to 16 (Paul Wesley directed 2x16 and they were in a lake/snowing location and we can see that same location on the trailer).

Now, to the things I noticed.

Right at the beginning we see some people, probably werewolves, holding Luke back. [Looks like they’re at the Hunter’s Moon.]

I think someone probably said something about Luke’s leadership and how he got half of his pack killed. I was thinking it could’ve been another werewolf that said that, but if that was the case they would be at the Jade Wolf and not at the Hunter’s Moon. A vampire maybe starts a fight?

Next we got this shot of Clary, Simon and Jace (in the back) on the middle of a forest. [The part of the location for 2x16 I was talking about.]

I think this is when they [and us] meet the Seelie Queen. I mean, why would they be at a place like that? Plus,

here looks like they’re looking down, searching for something. And here

looks like they’re waiting for something, or someone. Maybe someone to take them to the Seelie Queen?

After that we got this:

Alec, on the floor of what clearly is Magnus’ loft, with his bow and arrow. My question here is: why is he on the floor of Magnus’ loft with his bow and arrow??? Is someone going to break into Magnus’ and some kind of fight is going to happen?

Since we’re talking about Alec and Magnus…

And, like some of you already noticed, looks like the shirt he’s wearing here:

So, same episode I guess? [Alec is going to kiss this beautiful man with a beautiful red (?) eyeshadow and colored strikes in his hair. Alec is a lucky bastard.] ALSO, who is the person he’s talking to? I thought Izzy, but this pink shirt (?) doesn’t look like something she would wear. Maybe Dot? We know Vanessa was shooting a while ago. Or maybe - and please I hope I’m right - Catarina?

We also have this:

To be honest, I don’t care about the context of this. I just want to see them kick some ass together. Hope this is the case. [Also, looks like Alec is wearing the same jacket of the scene he’s on the floor, but then again, I feel like Alec only wears the same jacket, so…]

Badass Magnus is back! Looks like he’s putting some wards up at the Institute (? to me looks like the Institute). [He’s doing the same gesture he did in 2x08.]

And now two actual theories that have.

Izzy is going to be the first one to meet Sebastian.

- I’ve never seen you at the Institute.

My name is Sebastian.

If I remember correctly, it was said that Sebastian’s first appearance would be in 2x11. Anyway, what I’m thinking is: for whatever reason he’s going to save/help Izzy from vampires. She’s going to have a relapse and go looking for some vampire venom and we all know how that went last time.

But our hero, the great guy, Sebastian will be walking by and save Izzy. He’s going to be like “Yeah, I’m a shadowhunter too. I was going to the New York Institute.” and Izzy will be like “Oh, I live there. I can take you.” and that’s how everyone will meet him. [Maybe not like that, but you get the point.]

And now for second actual theory. Luke is attacking someone [looks like Valentine.]

And, oh, look at that

Same clothes, which means, same episode. In this case I think even the same scene. I actually have a nice theory about this one. Luke is going to see Valentine escaping. Now, why I think that? First of all we can see the wall behind Luke are the walls from here

So, Luke will be visiting Valentine and the Circle will break into the institute [Maybe that’s why Magnus was putting some wards up?] and Luke will have to fight them [hence the sword on his hand, probably takes from a Circle member], but, after a lot of fighting, Valentine will escape anyway, because this is Shadowhunters we’re talking about. Shit like that happens all the time.

And that’s it for now my people. Thank you so much if you read all of this. lol We still have a long journey until 2B, so if more things are released I might add more stuff, maybe change others.

Like always, let me know what you think!

Welcome to JeanMarco Month 2k17 (June 7-July 6)!

When?

The month-long celebration will take place between June 7 - July 6, in the year (and birthday month) of our Freckled Lord.

What Can I Contribute?

Literally, anything. Recs, headcanons, fic, art, cosplay, mood boards, AMVs, translations, meta, playlists - anything under the sun!

Crying with extreme emotion over JeanMarco is also fine. Post a picture of your tears and we’ll reblog it as the masterpiece that it is.

How Days Work

Most theme weeks focus on prompts, but since we’re doing an entire month, we came up with a diverse roster of ways for you to love on JeanMarco. There are three different types of days interspersed:

  • 1. PROMPT DAYS (aka, Content Creator’s Delight): Good, old-fashioned prompts designed to inspire! Check out the huge array we’ve put together to help you create gorgeous new content. Details: http://jeanmarcomonth.tumblr.com/prompt-days
  • 2. GENRE DAYS (aka, Dust Off Those JM Recs): These are the days when it’s time to get your rec on and celebrate the amazing content people have created for JM in the past. Recommend and yell about others’ work, as well as your own. Spread the love! Details: http://jeanmarcomonth.tumblr.com/genre-days
  • 3. GENERATOR DAYS (aka, When AUs Attack): These days are for AUs which will be produced randomly by a generator. How it works: respond to Jean and Marco in the context of the specific AU however you like! Write, draw, narrate headcanons, post screenshots of your fave AUs – all are welcome. The more diverse, the better. Details: http://jeanmarcomonth.tumblr.com/generator-days

Content Requirements

There are only two requirements when it comes to your contributions: tag your work NSFW or SFW, and have fun. The second one is direly serious and consequences will be severe for Fun Deserters.

Where Can I Find the Full Day by Day Schedule?

The full day by day schedule of can be found here: http://jeanmarcomonth.tumblr.com/schedule

Late with a contribution? No problem! We will continue to reblog and give mighty praise to your response even after the theme month has ended!

How to Participate and Share

There are many ways to share once you’re ready to share a response to a Day!

  • Tumblr: Post on tumblr using the tag  #jeanmarcomonth and we’ll reblog it here. Make sure it’s in the first five tags, though, or else we won’t see it! You can also tag this blog with the trusty @ symbol.

Lance: Now that I’m a member of the ‘Didn’t know we were blah blah blah’. First order of business is coming up with a shorter (and cooler) name.

I partially blame you, elentori-art!!  Now I want altean!lance or alien-modification!lance, THANKS.  So, while everyone else was watching the Superbowl,  I drew a Voltron Comic featuring Altean!Lance who didn’t get ANY CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IN THE SECOND SEASON AND I’M SALTY
