It is habu snake reproducing season, and you know what that means:
Snakes falling from the sky.
A PSA was just announced that it is Habu Snake mating season where we live.
Female habu snakes like to gather mates by getting up high into trees and allowing the winds to spread their pheromones. Male snakes climb the tree to pursue the female snakes and they mate in the trees.
Mating is hard to do in a tree, so these snakes often fall out of the trees, and the males waiting in line purposely fall to chase the female. So it has been advised that for the next few months, if you want to walk anywhere that has trees overhead that you also take an umbrella for that very real chance that multiple horny venomous snakes may fall on top of you without warning.
