He Was Right

Request:  Reader is close to the glee club and has gone to school with them since freshman year) Sebastian left his phone at the Lima Bean and someone from the glee club found it. They look through it to see pics of reader and Seb like kissing each other, hugging and cute pics that you would have of your significant other. They ask him about it only to find him and reader talking about date plans and the glee Club finding out when he realizes that he left his phone at the Lima Bean. The entire glee club enters the room and tells them the gig’s up. They confess and the glee club accepts it. - @irony-is-my-life

Pairing: Sebastian Smythe x Reader

Notes: So I made a few changes. I hope you don’t mind. It’s late and not very well written. I’m sorry if it’s not your favorite. You can always request another one, though. My ask is always open. Also everyone’s a lil bit OOC.

Bells jingled and laughter poured into the local cafe called the Lima Bean. “And then Finn tripped over his books and slid down the hall!” Rachel was giggling through her retelling of an incident with an unsuspecting student and a distracted Finn walking the halls of McKinley. “Hey. I think it was a pretty graceful dive. I only tripped three other people.” Rachel, Finn, Blaine, Kurt, Santana and Artie were making a stop at the Lima Bean to get a little recharged before the weekend was over.

“Hey guys, I’ll catch up in a minute.” “Alright Finn. Don’t be long,” Rachel smiled.

Striding over to the bathroom, something caught his eye before he made it to the door. ‘Someone left their phone here. That’s rough.” Finn thought to himself. ‘I wonder who’s it is.’ Thinking he was doing the right thing, he started looking through the phone and opened up the photos app since it was the first thing he saw. Scrolling through the pics, the screen was filled with red, black and white. Finn cringed as the Warbler symbol flashed across the phone. About ready to just turn the phone in to the cashier, a familiar face caught his eye.. ‘(y/n)?’

“Hey guys!” Finn yelled as he approached his friends. “Oh there you are, Finn. We were wondering what took you.” Artie scrutinized his fellow singer. “You’ll never believe what I found.” Finn had everyone’s attention now.

“Well? What is it?” Santana. Always one to be straight to the point. “I found this phone sitting at a deserted table and so I tried to figure out who it might belong to. So I started looking through their photos-”

“Hold on, hold on,” Santana interrupted. “You tried to find someone’s identity by looking through their pictures?” “Where did you possibly find that knowledge?” Kurt questioned. “Never mind that. Look who’s in the pictures.”

Finn showed the group the picture of (y/n). “So it (y/n)’s phone? Big deal.” Santana stared at Finn as if he grew another head, completely confused.

“Yeah, no. It’s a Warbler’s phone. See?” He then showed them the Warbler symbol. “Let me see that,” Blaine took the phone and started swiping. “..holy crap. I think I might puke. Oh gosh!”

“Blaine! What is it?” Everyone hollered at their raven haired friend. Saying nothing, he held up the phone. Cue collective gasp.

*At Dalton Academy*

“Okay guys. Here’s the plan. We go in and confront that sniveling snake about what he thinks he’s doing with our (y/n). Then we use whatever means necessary to keep him away from our baby.” Santana sneered at the thought of Smythe. “Agreed.” All were in agreement then.

Storming up the stairs of the school, the group made their way to the Warbler’s practice room. Sneaking up to the door, the singers heard voices conversing inside. “Good. Okay. They’re in there. Let’s go.” Finn was ready to ‘talk’ to Sebastian. “Hold up a second,” Artie spoke. “I think.. there’s a girl’s voice..”

Everyone crowded the door, trying to hear. “-last time. Maybe we could hit up the ice cream parlor then head on over to the beach?” “Really? Seb, don’t you think that they’d see us?” “Come on, babe. I want to show you off. I really don’t care about your friends seeing us. In fact, it’d be a good thing. Maybe I can prove to them that it’s a good thing we’re together. I really love you and I’m sure they’ll be able to see that. Even if they don’t want to.” Sebastian had been trying to convince you to tell the New Directions for a while now. Everything he said was either shot down or flat out ignored. You really did care about Sebastian, but it’d be so hard for you if your friends, best friends, disapproved of your relationship.

“Sebastian. I know you really want to tell them.. it’s just,” you heaved a sigh loud enough for your eavesdropping friends to hear. “It’s just that if they didn’t approve of us, if they didn’t like us together, if they’d tried to break us apart.. it would kill me. I love you so much, but they might not love us together. They’re still my friends. My family. I just don’t think I’m ready.”

From the other side of the door, your friends were looking at each other like they were thoroughly disappointed with themselves, not you. “I can’t believe (y/n) feels like she can’t trust us with this. I feel so.. terrible,” Blaine was completely distraught that you felt that way.

“I know. We reacted so harshly when we found out, though. No wonder she felt like she couldn’t tell us. Ugh! I feel like a terrible friend,” Rachel was almost in tears now. “Hey, we all feel horrible. She’s our baby girl and we can’t have her feeling like we won’t support any decision she makes. Even if it is to date that..” Kurt stops as he sees his friends giving him wary looks. “..that great..singer..”

They all looked at each other in confirmation and pushed open the grand doors. Both heads inside snapped up to the intruders. “Guys? Wh-wh-what are you doing here?” Panic was evident in your eyes. Sebastian discreetly took your hand in his, the action not going unnoticed.

“We know, (y/n),” Artie spoke up. “Y-You do? Know what exactly?” “That you and this.. male are dating,” Santana cringed. “We found his phone at the Lima Bean and saw.. pictures,” Kurt visibly shuddered.

With a defeated sigh, you flopped onto the couch. “I’m so sorry, you guys. It’s just..”

“Yeah. We know, baby girl. I must admit we didn’t react well at first, but hearing what you just said.. we feel awful, sweetheart,” Kurt sympathized. “That was never my goal. I really do care a lot for Sebastian and if you all would try and keep me from being with him, it would tear me apart.”

Artie wheeled forward. “We know (n/n). We realize that now and we’re going to try and be supportive. Just as long as he gives us a reason not to.” He have a pointed look in Sebastian’s direction. “R-really? Oh my gosh! Thanks you guys! You won’t regret it, trust me.” “Yeah we better not,” Santana eyed Sebastian.

Sebastian took your hand. “I’m really thankful for this, you guys. (Y/n) means everything to me. So much so I’d give up singing to keep her. I’ll do my absolute best to keep her happy.”

You grinned up at him. You were short, okay? Besides, it doesn’t help he’s a freaking giant. “Keep her happy and we won’t make you quit singing,” Blaine stated. “But if you fail. You will suffer the consequences,” Santana added.

“I agree wholeheartedly. Besides, if I ever did anything to hurt my- our little (y/n), I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.”

The New Directions looked at each other and silently agreed. “Have fun kids,” Santana said. “Keep it classy,” Kurt added. After hugging all of them and Sebastian surprisingly shaking the guys’ hands and getting his phone back, they took their leave.

“Well. That went better than expected.” “See? I told you they’d be cool,”  Sebastian said with a smirk. “You really like being right, don’t you?” you asked. “I like being right about us.” With a wink and kiss, neither of you could stop beaming.

Word count: 1.090

A/N: I had fun on writing this shot, also because I love Finn and Cory so much. I miss him so much and I know you also do. Anyways, hope that this is how you imagined the story and hope that you like it. I suggest you to listen to “A Lovely Night” by Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, it is a song from the film La La Land, if you didn’t know.
Anyways, thank you for your request and hope to receive some soon. Enjoy!

The sun was setting soon, but the school was still crowded. You thought that maybe it was because of the football team’s practice but you were still amazed of it.

“(Y/N)!” You heard a familiar voice calling you and you were almost sure who it was. You smiled widely and turned your head to where that angelic voice came from.

“Finn!” You ran to him and you excitedly hugged him tightly. He just got out of the shower as his football practice just ended few minutes ago. You adored the scent of his perfume and he just laughed at your behaviour.

“You missed me so much, yeah?” He mocked you as he wrapped his arms around your waist.

“Of course!” You broke the hug that you’ve been sharing and you winked at him. He smiled at you widely and got the backpack that was hanging on your right shoulder.

Finn was your best friend and you knew him since the day you became a cheerleader. You quickly clicked together and you had a great friendship going on. You can always count on him and he can always count on you, of course. He’s a gentleman, kind, caring, a little bit dorky and idiot sometimes, but those are the qualities you loved in him.

“So? What are we doing tonight?” He asked you as you both started to walk, heading to the parking lot.

“I have no idea. I am so tired because of the cheerios’ practice.” You looked at him and he bit his lip as if he was thinking of something you can both do.

You both remained silent for awhile, both thinking of a possible activity to do together. You suck at thinking though, because the more you think of something, the more you can’t find the right answers at the right moment.

You silently walked, just hearing the crowds chaos in the background and the starting tune of a familiar song to you.

“(Y/N)!” Finn excitedly shouted your name. You thanked him as you thought that something has already came in his mind.

“So?” You curiously asked.

“Hear that song they’re playing?” Finn widely smiled at you and you quickly understood what he wanted to do.

“No, just no.” You shook your head several times, but you knew that Finn always gets what he wants. He wanted you to sing with him in front of the crowd and you hated him for a short moment for that.

“C'mon!” He grabbed your hand and he ran near the girl who was playing the song that you both loved together.

“Finn!” You pouted but he just flashed you a sweet and lovely smile. You are a great singer, but you are always shy to sing in front of others and that is one of the things you hate in yourself. Also, because of your shyness, Finn couldn’t convince you to join the Glee club, where he was a member too.

“The sun is nearly gone,” Finn has started to sing, as he put down the backpacks on the bench. “no lights are turning on, a silver shine that stretches to the sea.” Finn has sung confidently. His voice was fantastic and he had a great talent. You admired him from afar as he performed for the crowd around him.

“He’s just so perfect.” You silently though to yourself.

“Some other girl and guy, would love this swirling sky. But there’s only you and I and we’ve got no shot. This could never be, you’re not the type for me,” He continued singing as the beat went on and you continued admiring your best friend.

You then stopped looking at him absent-mindedly when you felt that someone pulled your hand. It was obviously Finn, asking you to join him. You shook your head several times, but the crowd started cheering for you and you haven’t gotten any other chances to back yourself out.

“You say there’s nothing here? Well, let’s make something clear, I think I’ll be the one to make that call.” You sang shyly at first but then Finn smiled at you, as if he was saying that you were doing great. You suddenly gained a scrap of confidence and you started to not care of your surroundings anymore.

“What’s your call?” Finn asked as it was part of the song.

“I know you look so cute in your polyester suit.”

“It’s wool.” You smiled at him as you enjoyed this moment with him, not caring of what others might think.

You started to enjoy the song and you felt appreciated as you heard the crowd cheering happily and cheerfully for you and Finn. You loved the idea of singing your favourite song from your favourite movie, swaying your hips too.

“What a waste of a lovely night.” You both sang in unison and the instrumental part of the song came.

You and Finn danced like what the protagonists did in their film and you couldn’t deny that you both had fun.

When the song has stopped, the two of you earned some loud claps from the other students and you thank them endlessly.

“It was fun, right?” Finn mocked you as he was fixing the backpacks on the both of his shoulders.

“Shut up!” You rolled your eyes, but it was obvious that you had fun performing in front of the crowd.

“So, glee club it is?” He playfully made his eyebrows dance and you just shook your head.

“I’ll think of it.” His eyes widened because of euphoria and you couldn’t help but laugh at his reaction.

“Wait, talking of thinking something.” He quickly put on a serious expression on his face. “What are we doing tonight?”

“Oh,” Your lips grew wide as a great idea came through your mind. “La La Land and popcorn.”

“Again?” Finn complained as you both already saw the film for about hundred times.

“Then you shouldn’t have let me sing A Lovely Night.” You raised your shoulders as if you were saying that he had no choice. “You knew how much I loved that film.”

“Or maybe how much you loved Ryan Gosling?” Finn raised his left eyebrow, offended.

“Sorry, not sorry.” You gave him a teasing smile and he let a soft laugh escape from his lips.

He was happy to spend time with you, his beloved pretty and lovely best friend, even though it was watching the film La La Land for the hundredth time now.

Because with you, it was never a waste of a lovely night.

“Look person, I’m sorry I ran you over with my car but maybe you should stay in the bike lane DON’T EVEN THINK OF TAKING ME TO COURT I DON’T CARE IF YOU’R E A LAWYER… shit” AU for Klaine, pretty please?😇

OMG I had so much fun with this one. So…

Klaine / Rated T

“So you know how we joked about me being able to ace law school after all the studying I helped you with back in undergrad?” Blaine’s voice carries to Sebastian’s ears as he slides into his seat at their high top table, situated in their usual corner at the bar about a block or two from the apartment they share. Blaine figures they’ll move to their own places once things get serious with romantic partners or something, but for now… well, they can afford a much nicer place together than they would alone, and to be honest, it’s kind of nice living with your best friend.

Sebastian raises a brow as he takes the beer Blaine slides to him, steadying the glass before opening his mouth to speak. “You better not have dragged me out to the bar just to tell me you’re giving up on your dreams to follow in my footsteps, Anderson. Cause I swear if you throw in the towel just cause that douchebag didn’t like your fucking wonderful composition, I will kick your ass myself-”

Before he can get too riled up, Blaine cuts his friend off with a laughing grin. “Whoa, Bas, calm down! I’m not giving up on my dreams. For the record, I don’t really care what Mr. Hafton thought of my proposal. I’m going to polish it a bit and present it to a different director when the opportunity comes. Anyway…” he lifts his own tall draft and takes a swig before continuing. “Let me tell you how I proved just how much of your schooling my musical brain retained, shall I? It all started with a shitload of traffic…”

Blaine knew better than to ride his bike on such a day. The weather wasn’t the problem- in fact, it was absolutely beautiful out- which was causing the actual issue that Blaine faced. It was the first nice day in a solid two weeks of terrible weather, and everyone was hell bent and determined to enjoy it. That meant that everyone was traveling, trying to get out in the sun, and leaving work as early as possible to boot.

Being a composer for Broadway, Blaine didn’t have a set work schedule, However, Blaine’s clients did have a certain schedule to follow, and Blaine had to fit himself into those schedules. It was best for him to squeeze his meetings into the time between sleep, other meetings, casting calls, and actual performances. Usually, Blaine found himself traveling home just before the early crowd left work, but today…

Well, today people were leaving earlier than usual, which meant Blaine and his bike were hitting all the congestion leaving the city. And New York didn’t have the nicest drivers. Or pedestrians, to be honest.

Even as Blaine had made it out of the main city and into the outskirts where he and Bas shared their apartment, he was still surrounded by traffic and eager pedestrians who didn’t want to share an inch of the sidewalk with his narrow bike path. Of course, the traffic was mostly stand-still, so he wasn’t too worried about being hit, but there was always that fear when the traffic did shift.

During a big shift in traffic, Blaine came up to a jogger with a double-wide stroller on the sidewalk. His narrow path was encroached upon by the stroller, and the woman jogging wasn’t paying any attention to the width of her precious cargo. Blaine panicked. He jerked his handlebars, pitched sideways, and next thing he knew he felt the hot impact of metal before sliding to the ground in a heap, landing painfully atop his bike, a handlebar poking sharply into his gut.

“Hold up, hold up,” Sebastian interrupts, throwing Blaine an incredulous look. “You swerved into traffic instead of side-swiping the stroller?!” Forest green eyes flash with a sort of hunger for justice, and Blaine looks at his friend as if he’s lost his mind.

When Sebastian doesn’t relent, Blaine rolls his eyes and sighs, giving into his friend’s need for more information. Bas always does demand all the details so he can figure out the full case. Oh, what Blaine wouldn’t give for the pompous teen who was only concerned about getting a little action. That Sebastian was so much easier to deal with. Lawyer Sebastian takes himself so much more seriously, and it’s absolutely exhausting sometimes…

“Yes, Bas, I avoided the fucking stroller with two small children inside. I’m not a monster like you!” Blaine mutters darkly about his horrible taste in friends even as Sebastian opens his mouth to retort.

Thankfully, their appetizer platter comes out then, so Bas is interrupted by the waiter asking if they need anything else. “Not just yet,” Blaine answers, kicking Bas under the table when the lawyer snickers at him.

Back to business, Sebastian eyes Blaine seriously even while the composer struggles with a mozzarella stick, cheese oozing out in a lava-hot string to attempt to scald Blaine’s lips off. “It’s a man-eat-man world, Killer. You have to be ruthless to survive. That woman should have paid better attention and kept her kids safe. Not your problem if she failed as a mother.”

Blaine spares a disgusted look for his best friend before directing Sebastian’s attention back to his story. “Right. Like I said, there can only be one devil incarnate, and you already filled that role rather perfectly. Anyway…”

The sound of brakes straining in the new warmth of the weather made Blaine groan in a sort of mutual frustration before a honking horn sounded in the not-so-far distance and Blaine actually cursed a little under his breath. He’d just been hit by a car for Christ’s sake! He’d have thought that might trump getting home a little earlier than normal.

Apparently Blaine had forgotten how heartless New Yorkers starved for sunlight could be, though, as he shifted to sitting only to stare at a haughty looking man in a very nice three-piece suit, staring down at him with a quirked brow visible just above reflective sunglasses that Blaine was sure were very designer and very expensive. “Oh for the love of…”

Blaine’s muttering was interrupted by an irritated exhale and a quick spout off about how Blaine was the person in the wrong. “Look, uh, you,” the guy started, tone like a wasp but voice smooth like Blaine thought he’d like to hear in a bedroom setting. It was very confusing for his body and brain, to say the least. It didn’t help that Blaine was pretty sure his left elbow and possibly shin were bleeding and the stinging was becoming distracting. “I’m sorry I hit you, but, maybe you should have followed the law and stayed in the bike lane?”

It was like the man was speaking to a toddler, and that made something in Blaine’s brain snap. He didn’t care how hot the pissed off guy was, what with his gravity-defying hair and daring fashion sense- that suit wasn’t even a shade of blue that Blaine had a name for!- the guy was being a dick. It wasn’t Blaine’s fault that he’d been in too much of a hurry to get home from… whatever swanky city job he did and wasn’t paying attention to the pedestrian traffic.

So, Blaine told him as much.

“Uh, how ‘bout no?” The man gaped at him, sunglasses perched lower on his nose so he could stare at Blaine with stunning eyes of the greenest blue. Blaine wouldn’t be distracted, though. He had a diva to dethrone, it would seem. “The bike path here is very narrow and often crosses routes with both pedestrians and vehicles. It is the responsibility of all parties to be aware of each other. I was well aware of my surroundings, but a jogger was not paying attention and ran me off my path with her double-wide stroller. Which, I might add, had two babies in it.”

The man didn’t look as bothered by that as Blaine had been, but he didn’t look like he didn’t care at all, as Blaine suspected Bas would were he present. At least this guy wasn’t completely heartless. “Traffic was stopped, thus you should not have been going very fast at all once it started up again. You shouldn’t have had any problem reacting to my falling into your lane, and yet…” Blaine angrily motioned to his bike, and his leg which was awkwardly positioned under him and somewhat inside of the bicycle. It was starting to get rather sore, but he wasn’t exactly sure how to un-pretzel himself without some help.

Tall, poised, and prissy gave him a once over and licked his lips before responding. “Are you some kind of law-student or something?” he asked, that brow quirking even higher. “Whatever. I don’t care. You still don’t have an argument here! I didn’t do anything wro-“

“Oh tell me you started throwing random data at him,” Bas interrupts, a gleeful light in his eye. He’s getting really into the story and Blaine can’t help but grin. He has to admit, he had no idea if he even had any sort of case against the guy, but he knew how to bullshit like he did. Thanks to all that studying with Bas.

Cracking his knuckles, Blaine smirks almost as good as Sebastian as he nods his head proudly. “Of course I did. Told him about law four fifty-seven A of chapter sixteen in the New York Vehicular-Pedestrian code that states how any vehicle driving under ten miles an hour is responsible should it collide with a pedestrian, including cyclists.”

Sebastian is howling now while Blaine explains a couple more laws that he made up, and even a fictitious court case, only to be interrupted by a clearing throat.

“Are you quite finished celebrating your dastardliness?” the voice asks, and Blaine opens his eyes to stare into the greenest blue he’s ever seen, again cocking that brow at him, but this time looking amused rather than angry or intimidated.

Kurt pulls his chair out and joins the pair at their table, less dressed up than the previous day. “Sorry, Kurt,” Blaine says, a laugh still on his voice as he flashes the fashion writer slash actor a warm smile. “Bas was at the office late last night and I didn’t get to talk to him until today. He didn’t know our story til now.”

Sebastian, for his part, has started coughing from his laughing fit. It seems that adding Kurt to the mix just made it even worse. “Is he going to make it?” Kurt asks, not actually looking all that concerned. The middle finger shot his way answers his question, though, and Kurt simply motions for his own beer and helps himself to a potato skin. “Did you tell him how you ended up at my place with a broken bike and a sore ass afterward? Or how I rubbed out the muscle spasm in your thigh?”

The grin that curls on Kurt’s face is absolutely evil while Sebastian wheezes for air. Blaine kind of loves it. “Oh my God!” Sebastian exhales, glaring at both of them. “How in the hell do you go from threatening lawsuits to fucking?!”

That was loud. Blaine winces as half the bar turns to stare at them, while Kurt starts to go red and Bas just keeps staring incredulously at them.

“Nobody said anything about fucking!” Blaine squeaks, while Kurt responds at the same time with “I’m just that good, I guess.”

Oh, and Blaine is sure he’s red enough to make a tomato jealous, but he’s also so turned on he might die. Shit. And Kurt and Bas are getting along like old friends, sparring verbally without any issue. It’s actually amazing. Bas doesn’t get along this well with, well, anyone!

“So, anyway,” Blaine says once he can speak again. “Thanks for making me help you get through law school I guess? And, uh, don’t expect to see my bike around the apartment any time soon. It kinda died, and I don’t think I want to tempt fate twice.”

Blaine got his accidental chance at love or whatever Kurt might be. He doesn’t think he’d get so lucky next time. Best to leave the biking to ruthless people who would have taken out the stroller.

“I’ve been spending the last eight months, thinking all love ever does is break and burn and end. But on a Wednesday, in a cafe, I watched it begin again.”

Sing to me

A/N- sorry i have not updated in so long

pairing-Sebastian smythe x  fin  twin sister!reader

Sebastians P.O.V

Since Dalton academy has a day off today i decided that i would surprise (Y/N) at mckinley high. ( i know how unfortunate). I walk into this hell and head straight towards the choir room. When i get there i see that the New directions are sitting there miserably while Mr. Schue is talking about some 60’s showtune.

“Hello losers getting ready to lose?” i say while half way expecting (Y/N) to scold me.

“ What are you doing here? Kurt and I see enough of you at our house.Plus (Y/N) is not even here.” Finn says annoyed.

“Oh well where is she” I say snarkily(?)

“She is at home sick with a cold.” Kurt says

“ Finn, pull out your car keys and hold them by the house key.” I instruct. He does as i say but he kinda looks scared.

I take the house key off the ring and walk out. When i get to my car i drive to 7/11 and grab ramen, ice cream, Dr Pepper.

*At the hudsummle household*

I unlock the door and walk straight to (Y/N) room. When i walk into her room I see so many tissues wadded up on the floor and scattered around her on the bed. (Y/N) is curled up on her bed in a burrito of blankets, she lifts her head up to see who walked in.

“Hey ba-*intense coughing*

“Awww my poor baby” i cooed as i kiss her head. “I brought you ice cream, Dr Pepper, and lots of kisses” I strip off my hoodie and shirt and toss them in my corner leaving me in only my sweat pants. Then i climb into her bed and wrap my arms around her cuddle her like a teddy bear. She cuddles further into my chest and snuggles her face into my neck.

“Sing to me please” She says

This is nothing new to me, (Y/N) always asks me to sing to her i don’t know why but it is really adorable.

“What song?” i ask softly.

“Missing you by All time Low” she says in a small voice.

“ Okay baby” i say and start singing.

“ I heard that you’ve been

Self-medicating in the quiet of your room,

Your sweet, suburban tomb.

And if you need a friend,

I’ll help you stitch up your wounds.

I heard that you’ve been

Having some trouble finding your place in the world.

I know how much that hurts,

But if you need a friend

Then please just say the word” I sing into (Y/N)s ear until i notice that she is asleep

“Sweet dreams love” i whisper and close my eyes and let sleep take over my body.
