RECIPE // REFRESHING SUMMER SMOOTHIE
Hi everyone! Today my post is a smoothie recipe. This post is tying in with my last post which was a review of the NutriNinja. I have used the NutriNinja as part of this recipe but feel free to use any blender or machinery that you usually would. I hope you enjoy! Xx
For this smoothie recipe you will need:
• a small amount of blueberries
• a small amount of raspberries
• a few cut up pieces of water melon
• a few cut up pieces of cantaloupe
• two tablespoons of yoghurt (anytype is fine)
• one stem of mint leaves
• five blocks of ice
• 2/3 cup of coconut water
First you will need to cut the mint leaves from the stem and chop them in half to make them smaller. Then add you’re ingredients into your NutriNinja (or any other blending device) starting with the ice and ending with the mint leaves. For best results put yoghurt somewhere in the middle of the fruit and pour coconut water over the top last. Attach blade lid to cup tightly with the blade facing the fruit.
Attach the cup to the NutriNinja via the dints in the machine and press cup down lightly for a couple of seconds to blend. Once finished remove blade lid, replace with drinking lid and enjoy your smoothie!!
