I always see these beautiful, vibrant, and perfectly photographed smoothies on Instagram and I’m like: Here is my green sludge. But it is delicious green sludge so here you go! One scoop vegan raw protein powder (unflavored), ½ cup frozen blueberries, 1 cup frozen mango, 2 cups raw spinach, 1 cup pineapple juice, 1 cup almond milk. All organic, of course, because I’m a proper elitist ugly smoothie maker.

This was my afternoon snack yesterday, so delicious!
1 frozen banana
¾ cup frozen blueberries
¼-½ cup plain, Greek, whole milk, Organic Nancy’s Yogurt
3 T hemp seed
¼ dropper vanilla cream stevia
Water to blend
Topped with bee pollen and goji berries

Day One

Woke up eaaaaarly and went for a long jog/walk, about forty minutes, and then had scrambled eggs, whole grain toast, and a fresh smoothie for breakfast. I’ve got lots to do today before I move out, but I’m feeling great!

Tuesday 4th August

I had weet bix and honey for breakfast, a sandwich, banana and fruit smoothie from the cafeteria ($7, never again, so watered down!) for lunch, and then between lunch and dinner I had chicken and corn soup from the cafeteria which was quite oily, I reckon. I won’t be getting that one again, but the vegan lentil and veggie one and the chicken veg one look like winners so far. For dinner i had spinach and ricotta stuffed agnolotti with my chunky veggie packed bolognese sauce. So delicious, and I watched my portion size too. I’m proud of myself for having sorted out extras for the freezer.
