chocobros tries to reach s/o thru the phone, but it won't answer. It's late and they haven't been home yet. As they're about to leave they see s/o about to open the door. They see s/o with black eye and holdin' a bloody tissue to their nose. S/o explain their phone got broken by the attacker and got into a fight. The attack went to jail.
This one was a lot more fun that I should care to admit. Everyone’s imaginations are so amazing! (I hope this is NOT based off a true story Anon!) (,,꒪꒫꒪,,)
“Great just great,.” You muttered to yourself, moving up to the stairs Making it rather difficult considering you had to keep your head back, to stop the flow of blood, and you were certain no amount of smoky eye shadow was going to cover that huge shiner you got.
Dropping what was left of your cellphone in the bush, as you cursed, it was too dark to find it now, and would have to wait until morning.
Only your eyes glanced over to the large receiving room doors as Noctis ran in, his large blue eyes widen in concern.
“Hi Noct.” You called back, keeping your face forward so that Ignis could see to your swollen eye with a dab of potion. Almost immediately after the incident with that petty assailant outside the castle’s walls, your left eye swelled shut making it rather difficult to see. Luckily Ignis before had cleaned your face and hands of the blood from your nose before the Prince came to meet you.
“What happened, are you okay?” He asked, as Ignis finished up, deeming you fine.
“Thank you, Ignis.” You smile toward the other as he left the room, before turning to your boyfriend who immediately rushed over to your side cuddling up to you. “I’m fine Noctis, apparently someone thought it was a good idea to try and kidnap me. Sorry, I didn’t respond, I accidentally broke my phone in the struggle.”
“But are you okay?”
“I’m fine, I promised, Gladio intervened before anything could happen.” You replied, stroking his head, trying not to show the fear. It actually did frighten you when the man grabbed a hold of you, and placed something over your mouth. Never had you been more lucky to have Gladio appear and save you.
Noctis pulled back as he cupped your face, as his blue eyes stared directly into yours. Something about the hypnotic gaze, saw through your facade as tears began to fall, followed by sobs, as you clinged to the other, burying your face in his shoulder.
“Noctis, I was so scared.” You cried, against his shoulder, clinging to the front of his jacket. Feeling his hand on the back of your head, stroking your hair as you sobbed harder. You knew that Noctis wasn’t good at showing emotions, but the fact he was trying to comfort you, only seemed to make you cry harder.
“I’m sorry, I couldn’t protect you.” He whispered against your hair, pulling you closer still.
“Noctis,” You sobbed, your arms going to wrap around his chest, trying to not look so weak before the man.
You weren’t entirely certain of how long you had been in each other’s embrace, managing to stifle a sniff, as you attempted to dry your eyes with the back of your hands, pulling back from your boyfriend, “I must look a mess.”
Noctis’ hand found your own, “You look fine.”
“You’re just saying that.”
Noctis gave a shrug, as he looked off, “Nah.”
You giggled, at the man attempting to play aloof beside you on the receiving couch. Only for both of your attentions going to the door, as it open again. You immediately jumped off the couch, bowing your head, and performing the best curtsey you could.
“Now, now y/n, it’s fine.” King Regis stated moving into the room, “I wanted to see how you a fairing, I was alerted that you had an altercation out front.”
Your nonswollen eye widen, as you waved your hands, having only met your boyfriend’s father a handful of times, and you looked an absolute mess! “I’m fine, I assure you, I’ve had worse on hunts.” Only to be silenced as you felt his hand on your head.
“You’re a very strong one, Y/n.” He smiled, before turning to his son. “Noctis, do ensure that from now on when Y/n is to visit that we have someone come with her in the evenings.”
Noctis gave a groan, as he stood up, wrapping an arm around your shoulders, rolling his eyes at the older man. “Yeah, whatever.”
“Your Highness it isn’t needed, I promise.” You attempt to reason, only for the King to take your hand, placing a kiss to your knuckles, your body heating up, unsure if from embarrassment or shock.
“I would like to know that my future daughter is safe, when neither my son nor myself are able to see that you are.” He smiled, before giving you a wink.
A giggle escaped, as you nodded, “Thank you, Your Highness.”
Regis turned to his son, as he smiled, “Have a nice evening.” He called, before leaving the room.
You turned to your boyfriend with your still swollen eye, “Should we get going?”
Noctis seemed to pout, before stroking your hair, as he lead you from the room. “I think tomorrow I’ll take the day off.”
You couldn’t help but smile, apparently Noctis was upset his Father had beaten him to the punch. Wrapping both your arms around the young man’s arm, hugging it toward your chest, “All right.”
“Promp…” You were cut off, as the blonde quickly engulfed you.
“I was so worried, you didn’t pick up your phone. I called the others, and we were going to go look for you.” He chattered quickly, as you both awkwardly wobbled back into the apartment, the blonde pulling back to cup your face, just now realizing your shiner, and bloody nose. “Y/N, what happened, are you okay?”
You smiled, going to cup his face in return, only to realize your hands were covered in blood as you patted his arm with the back of your hand, “I’m fine, I’m fine, I promise.”
“Are you sure?” He asked leading you into the living room, as he sat you down on the couch.
You smiled softly, “I promise, it only looks a lot worse than it is.”
Prompto nodded as he quickly jumped up from before you, running into the kitchen, returning moments later, holding a bag of ice wrapped in a towel, and a wet rag. Sitting down on the couch beside you, “Lay here.”
You couldn’t help but follow the gentile instruction, as you rolled to your back, closing your eyes, as the blonde begun to clean your face. You flinched slightly, as he placed the ice on your eye.
“Some jerk, went after my phone. I was lucky some police officers were coming out the shop next door, but I broke my phone, and can’t get a new one until I get paid.”
Prompto stroked your hair, before tapping your forehead, singling you to get up. Watching him disappear down the hallway, before reappearing with one of his old phones, and by old phones, it was maybe 2 months old, seeing that he always had to have the most up to date technology, and one of his Chocobo plushs, the one named ‘Chuchu’.
“Here you can have this one.” He smiled, as he sat back down, moving your head back to his lap, before handing you Chuchu. “So what did the cops say?”
You cuddled Chuchu to your chest, “I guess he had a bunch of other stolen stuff, so they’re taking him in. I’ll have to go to the courthouse on Monday, and do adult stuff.”
“Want me to come with you?”
“No, they say it’s a quick in and out thing.” You state, almost jumping from your skin as you heard a banging at the door. “What the hell?”
Prompto moved to open the door, as Noctis, Gladiolus, and Ignis, rushed in, only to stop, as they saw you.
“Geez, Prompt, did you call the entire guard?” You laugh, as they all stared at you on the couch, then back to Prompto various expressions of rage. “Since you guys are all here, hungry?” You called, wanting to spare your boyfriend the wrath of the others.
“Y/N, where the hell have you been?”
You scoff, as you shove by the tall man into the house, hand to your nose, not wanting to drip all over the front hall, and prefered in the bathroom so you could at least clean it easier on tile.
“Hey!” Gladiolus called, his heavy footfalls coming after you, as you leaned over the sink, trying to get the bleeding to stop.
You headbutted the asshole, but you shouldn’t have been bleeding this bad, your nose wasn’t even broken!
“Did you hear me, I have been trying to call you for the last…what happened?”
You turned toward the big guy, however your face looked the big guy was not prepared, for the full frontal view as he stared in horror. “Nothing.”
“Y/n.” He called moving you over to the toilet. “Sit down.”
“Gladdy, I got,”
Your butt hit the closed lid, as you watched the man going through the medicine cabinet, pulling out some rubbing alcohol and a cold compress. Grumbling as he dug around in the drawers looking for something.
“What happened?” He demanded suddenly, as he knelt before you, tilting your head back. “Why didn’t you answer your phone?”
You felt the sting of the cotton ball drenched in alcohol, letting out a hiss, “Some idiot got fresh, so I decked him in the face. Part of the guard noticed me get into a fist fight, before they pulled me off, but I broke my phone when I dropped it, to hit him.”
“Hold this against your eye.” Gladiolus stated, handing you the cold compress.
Doing as you were told, you allowed the large man to finish up his treatment. Watching as he tossed the bloody ball in the garbage, and begun to put things away. It really wasn’t that big of a deal, you had worse wounds when going on hunts and training with the big guy.
“Gladdy,” You begun.
“Where is he?”
“Where’s the asshole?”
You thought for a moment, remembering what the police officer who had taken your case stated. “I think in the station on fifth, apparently he’s been going around groping girl’s asses all night.”
You immediately regretted the words, as you saw anger flash over the man’s face, as he turned to you, then quickly rushing out the room. Slipping on the bathroom rug, you rushed after him, calling his name repeatedly.
“Gladdy, Gladiolus where are you going!” You yelled, as the man made it toward the front door.
“That fucker, grabbed you!” Gladiolus hissed as he tore open the door.
You quickly rushed forward, forgetting the cold compress, as you grabbed a hold of his large bicep, feeling him drag you against the floor. Like you could stop him, yet still you tried, “Baby, please listen to me, it’s fine. It’s fine!”
“How is it fine, that son of a bitch grabbed you!”
“I know you’re mad, but I promise you…”You grunted digging your heels into the floor boards, “I’m fine.”
Yet you knew your calls fell on deaf ears, as Gladiolus marched toward the door. Releasing his arm, you stomped your foot before loudly barking, “Gladiolus Amicitia!”
This stopped the large guy immediately, watching as he slowly turned to you, only to stare in shock, “Y/n…”
You sniffed, shaking your head, as you glared at the man, “Listen to me you big goof! I’m fine!”
“Babe.” Gladiolus called, as he walked over pulling you to his chest. “I didn’t mean to make you cry.”
“I’m not crying.” You protested, as you hugged him tightly, burying your face in his chest. “I’m mad because you won’t listen to me.”
“I just…it makes me worry, when I’m not with you. I know you can handle yourself, it’s just, fuck Babe, please stop crying.”
You rubbed your face against his chest, “I’m not crying.” You repeated, not wanting him to see the tears that had gather at your eyes. Pulling back, as you stared at his chest, only to notice blood smeared around his skin. Blinking in confusion, you stepped back, placing your hand to your nose.
“Are you freakin’ serious!” You bark, as you noticed the blood on your hand
Gladiolus chuckled, as he watched you lean your head back, “Need some help?”
“Yes, please.” You whined, only to gasp as he picked you up in one arm, going back to the bathroom.
“So, was this bare handed or…”
“Bare handed, I used that new move you taught me.” You beam from his arms. “His own mother wouldn’t recognize him.”
“I’ll have to see the work you did on him.”
You grabbed Gladiolus’ face between your hands, “Gladdy, I forbid you from finding this guy! He already got beat up by a girl.”
“Fine, fine….” He chuckled, as you removed your hands. “What’s with the face?”
You cracked a smile, “I may have gotten blood on your face.”
“You are the worse.” He chuckled, pressing a kiss to your cheek, “Now let’s get you out those clothes.”
“I meant so you could wash the blood off you.” He stated, as you crossed your arms, raising an eyebrow. “I mean we’ll see where it leads.”
Rolling your eyes, you allowed the man to take you back to the bathroom to clean you up again.
The moment Ignis saw your face, you noticed the slightly twitch of his mouth, he was worried, but he wasn’t going to show it. The man took you to the kitchen, having you sit down at the table, tilting your head up to avoid any further blood ruining your shirt.
“Head back, love.” The man called, as he ran a warm washcloth over your top lip. “Do you have a headache?”
“No, but Iggy…”
“I assume that you were unable to answer your phone due to this. Care to explain as to what happened.” He asked, finishing with the blood.
You wanted to pout, when Ignis got into one of these moods it was often difficult to get a word in edgewise, “Someone attacked me on the way home, I broke my phone in the scuffle, the police have already dealt with it.”
Ignis made a huffing noise in the back of his throat, before turning to the clock on the stove, “Have you eaten?”
“No?” You replied, caught off guard as he took your hand, helping you stand, before escorting you to the master bathroom. “Ignis?”
“As it’s so late, I’ll fix you a light dinner.” He stated, running you a bath, “I’ll see if I can save your blouse for you, and keep this to your eye.”
You groaned, putting the cold compress to your eye, you couldn’t be mad, you knew he was worried, but worried Ignis, became extremely strict and almost robotic. “Yes, Iggy.”
Ignis stopped his rummaging with your bath, before turning to you, his eyes soften as he leaned forward pressing a kiss to the side of your face not marked by the bruise, and ice pack, “I apologize my love, it just worries me when anything happens to you.”
“I know Iggy.” You muttered, only to feel his hand brush the hair from your face, making you look up, as he pressed a chaste kiss to your lips.
“Please relax and get washed. I’ll leave you some pajamas on the bed.” He stated giving you a soft smile, before whisking off out the door, to leave you to soak in peace.
Leave it to Ignis to know what you needed, a nice warm soak released all the tension within your body, allowing yourself 20 minutes to soak in peace. You made the decision to pull yourself from the tub, as you toweled over, returning to the room to see that instead of pajamas laid out, it was one of Ignis’ shirts, his way of providing you comfort.
Stepping for the room, you followed your nose to the kitchen, finding the man, had indeed made you a small soup, and salad so as not to make you feel bloated while going to bed, yet the chef in question had disappeared.
“Ignis? Darling?” You called stepping from the kitchen, in time to hear the front door open.
“Y/n, I had hope to return before you left your bath, was it relaxing enough for you?” He asked, as he lead you to the couch to sit you down, going into the kitchen to get your soup and salad.
“Yes, where did you go?” You asked, as he sat down beside you.
“Just tying up some loose ends.”
You honestly couldn’t say that you were surprised in the paper the next day the same man that attacked you, was on the front page, issuing an official apology to you, as well as community service, and wouldn’t be able to show his face in the city again.
You just couldn’t understand how Ignis managed to get that all done within the span of 20 minutes.
