  • *in a cab; on the way to the christening*
  • Molly: *happily* Oh isn't this exciting? I bet she looks lovely. And John and Mary are wonderful parents...
  • Sherlock: *on his phone* Mmm.
  • Molly: *sighs* Oh, her name is just beautiful *giggles* I always wanted to name my daughter Persephone.
  • Sherlock: *glances at her*
  • Molly: *rolls her eyes* Hey, I was eleven at the time and really into all that mythology stuff.
  • Sherlock: *still typing* There are worse names for a child than Persephone Holmes.
  • Molly: ...
  • Molly: *raises an eyebrow* Why would it be Holmes?
  • Sherlock: *shrugs* I always assumed you'd take your husband's name.
  • Molly: *scoffs* Yeah, well, I'm not going to marry Mycroft!
  • Sherlock: *confused* We've been sleeping together and you think-
  • Molly: *giggles* No, I mean, I just thought you weren't the marrying kind.
  • Sherlock: *sighs* Sex, Molly. I don't do that with just anyone.
  • Molly: *raises an eyebrow* You love me?
  • Sherlock: Obviously.
  • Molly: *smirks* I'm sorry? I didn't catch that.
  • Sherlock: *smiles* I love you.
  • Molly: *takes his hand* I love you too.
  • Sherlock: *coughs* So you'll...marry me, then?
  • Molly: *kisses his cheek* Of course I will.
Who She Was, How She Loved.

First off, this is my first one shot so I don’t know if I’m doing it right. And second, I don’t know what the fuck came over me to write this heart breaking story, something is wrong with me obviously. Like I made myself a sobbing mess sooo…

But I hope someone somewhere like it and it makes you feel something. That’s the goal. Okay. Deep breath. Here goes…

p.s I think I’m supposed to warn about major character death?

Jughead placed the plate of pasta in front of his daughter, she smiled up at him with a gummy grin and her big green eyes. Her two front teeth had both fallen out at the same time, his heart warmed thinking about how excited she had been leaving her teeth under her pillow for the tooth fairy. Her excitement matched in the morning when she found the coins the tooth fairy had left in their place. She wanted to save enough to buy herself a journal, and his heart had grown a size or two. So much like her Mother, especially as she sat there with her blonde hair Jughead couldn’t bring himself to cut.

“Daddy?” She had picked up her fork and was now pushing the pasta around in her plate with disinterest, very much unlike her. She had taken after her Dad in the food aspect, which he was rather proud of.

“What’s up, bug?” He asked as he sat opposite her at the dining table.

“Did Mummy like pasta?” She looked up at him with eyes just like Betty’s and Jughead had to mask the pain that took residence on his face whenever his wife’s name was mentioned.

“Junie, Mummy loved pasta. Just like you. And do you know what else?” He wanted Juniper to know every last detail about her Mother, who she was and how she loved, and one day he would tell her their whole story, but not yet. It was a bit heavy for a 6 year old.

“What?” She asked, eyes wide in curiosity.

“She hated pumpkin, baby. Just like you.”

“Yuck, punkin.” She scrunched her nose up at the thought, crossing her arms in distaste. “People who like punkin are weird, Daddy. You’re weird.” Jughead let out a laugh at his daughters comment, knowing full well she wasn’t wrong. Juniper finally stabbed a piece of pasta and popped it in her mouth, chewing around it and thinking of her next question. “What else did Mummy like?”

Jughead was always torn whenever Juniper asked about Betty. He wanted her to know every little detail about her Mum, but talking about her made his heart ache and his throat swell. And as much as he tried to put it off his mind couldn’t help but bring that memory to the forefront. It was the best and the worst day of his life.

The nurse placed the baby girl in Betty’s arms, and Jughead swore he had never been as happy as he was in that moment. Even though Betty had just given birth to a damn human, she still looked like an angel. Her hair was stuck to her face with sweat, cheeks red, eyes brimming with tears of elation. She was staring down at her daughter in her arms with a look that Jugheads memory would never do justice. She spoke without taking her eyes away from her new born daughter.

“Juggie, we made her. Can you believe it?” Her voice was thick with love. Jughead had to swallow before he could speak.

“You did all the hard work, Betty. I’m so proud of you.” He places a hard kiss to her temple. Betty finally managed to pull her eyes from her baby and smile a warm smile at her husband. “So, are we decided on her name?”

“Yes, it suits her don’t you think?” Her eyes are back on her daughter. “Hey, little Juniper. You want to meet your Daddy?” Jughead is more careful than he’s ever been as he takes his daughter from Betty. As he’s looking down at her little face, her eyes taking him in, he can’t help but think all the cliches to life. She is the sweetest thing he’s ever seen, and he’s so in love. He curled his finger around her little hand.

“Hey, Juniper. I’m your Daddy, baby girl.” He didn’t even notice the single tear that rolled down his face. “You and your Mummy are the the best things in my life, and I promise I will never let anyone or anything hurt either of you.”

He broke that promise very shortly. Not intentionally, and by no choice of his own.

“Daddy?” Junipers voice broke him from his reverie.

“Sorry, baby. Let’s see, what did Mummy like?” He pinched his chin with his thumb in forefinger with a funny look on his face that caused a burst of giggles from his daughter. “She liked movies, especially the old ones.”

“Like black and white ones?” She asked her Dad.

“Some of them were, yeah. And she liked vanilla milkshakes. She liked to read. And she loved to write.” Junipers eyes lit up at this new revelation.

“Really Daddy? Like me?” Her smile was contagious.

“Yeah, Junie, just like you.” He leaned over the table to say quietly, “She wrote to you, you know. When you were in her tummy.” She was nearly jumping in her seat.

“Can we read some, Daddy? Pleeeaaaase?” She almost yelled in excitement, giving another toothless grin at her Father.

“Of course, sweetie. When you finish your dinner, how about you have a bath and we’ll read some tucked in bed?” Juniper shovelled more than a mouthful of pasta into her mouth at once, and quickly stood from her chair and pushed it in.

“All finished!” She said through a mouthful of food. Jughead cold only laugh at how much she looked like him right then.

“Alright, my little bug. I’ll go run that bath.”

Once he had Juniper in the bath, he went to his bedroom and pulled the box down from the top of his closet. Only on occasion would he pull out the journal that Betty had filled with pages and pages for Juniper. He ran his hand over pink front cover.

Betty’s pregnancy had been complicated from the start, and there was a lot of talk of worst case scenarios and so many take it easy mentions that she had stopped working at the Registery. So at night when she couldn’t sleep from being so anxious for her baby, and with the lack of writing she was doing now, she channeled it all into this journal she was going to gift to her little girl one day. At first Jughead couldn’t understand, she would be up all hours and he would worry that she was never getting enough sleep. He would tell her it was silly, nothing would happen and she could tell their little girl everything herself soon enough. But she ignored him and did it anyway, and he came to understand. And now he was eternally grateful to his wife for her determination to do it.

It was all that Juniper would have of her Mother that was her own, not things she would hear from Jughead, or her grandparents or Auntie Polly and Uncle Arch.

This journal was for her, and when she was old enough to understand he would gift it to her and she could read it all herself, take from it whatever she wanted. But for now he could read her a page or two.

Jughead walked around the room a few times with his new born daughter in his arms, and he never wanted to put her down. But when Betty ushered him back to her with an “Oi” and a hand wave, he obeyed.

He sat down on the bed with Betty gently as not to move her too much. For all the complications during her pregnancy the birth had run smooth. He repositioned Juniper in his arms so that her little head was between the two new parents.

think she looks like you, Jug. What do you think?” She pecked a tiny kiss on her daughters head.

"She’s beautiful, Betts. Which she only could have gotten from you.” Betty swatted his arm and let out a laugh.

“Oh, shush you.” She leaned toward him and kissed him softly, pausing against his lips and smiling. “I love you so much, Jughead. I’m so happy right now. I can’t believe this is my life.” She had her eyes closed, she was a little pale and he thought of how exhausted she must be.

“I love you more than you’ll ever know, baby.” He kissed her back. “Do you want me to let you get some rest?” She quickly grabbed his arm, pulling him back to her as he went to move.

No, stay. Both of you. I want to enjoy this moment.” She lay her head against his shoulder and just watched her daughters face. She bought her hand up slowly to run it down Junipers cheek. “I love you, little bug. You are all I’ve ever wanted and you will be so loved by everyone, you have no idea.” She was a little breathless as she spoke.

"Just us 3, against the world.” Jughead said with a beaming smile. “Right, Mummy?” He looked back at Betty, and she was awfully still. His heart was in his throat when she didn’t respond. “Betty? Betts?” He did his best to try and shake her awake with his shoulder while still holding Juniper. Betty’s head slumped from his shoulder. “Betty! Oh, oh my god Betty. Help!” He was yelling now, trying to get someone’s attention. He quickly jumped up and popped Juniper in her incubator, she was screaming and crying now with all the commotion but he had to get back to his wife who was lying motionless in her hospital bed. He put one hand around her neck and lifted her head, but there was no strength in her. “Fuck, Betty, please wake up baby. Come on. Help! My wife, please!” He reached up with his free hand and slammed the emergency button above her bed.

In less than a minute the room was flooded with nurses, they were pulling him away from Betty and he was resisting.

That’s my wife, you have to help her, please help her.” His face was saturated in tears, his voice barely a whisper. He could barely remember anything after that except a nurse telling him “We are trying, Mr Jones, but we need the room. I know it’s hard but please, I will come and get you when she’s stable.”

He did as he was told, and sat in the hallway outside her room with his head in his hands. Archie and Veronica were there with flowers and a teddy bear and so many questions, but he couldn’t speak so they sat with him and waited. He couldn’t shake the image of Betty lifeless out of his head. God. Please. Not now, he was begging. Praying.

"Take me instead, please I beg you. Take me instead, I’ll do anything.” He hadn’t realise he’d been saying it out loud until a throat was cleared.

"Mr Jones?” Jughead quickly shot up, his heart in his throat.

Yes, my wife, Betty? Is she okay? What’s happened?” And when he saw the look on the doctors face, his heart fell from his throat through his chest and he swallowed it whole. He didn’t even hear the words, it was just a mix of medical terms he couldn’t understand and apologies. “We’re sorry… Did all we could… postpartum hemorrhage…” All he really remembers is falling to the floor, Archie racing to catch him and Veronica sobbing.

Juniper was now in her pjs and snuggled under her covers. “Okay, ready Daddy.”

“That’s my girl.” Jughead placed a kiss on her forehead and lay down next to Juniper on her little bed. “Should we start at the start?” He asked her.

“Yes!” She snuggled into her Dads shoulder. “Pretty.” She noted, rubbing her hand over the pink cover of the journal in Jughead hand.

“Like you, baby girl.” He placed another kiss on her forehead. “This is yours, Juniper. Mummy wrote it for you, and when you’re old enough, it’ll be yours to take care of. That okay?” He looked down at her, her eyes trained on the journal and her mouth in a little pout. So many times a day Jughead would catch her looking so much like Betty, normally in a moment of thought like she was now. She nodded at him.

“I wish I was old enough now.”

“I know baby, but you’re already growing up too fast for Daddy’s liking. So too bad.” He nudged her with his shoulder and she laughed at him.

“Quick, Dad! Read to me.” She said a little impatiently.

“Sorry! Okay, let’s read the first page. This one Mummy wrote when she first found out you were in her tummy,-”

“Babies don’t grow in tummies Dad.” He looked down at her in slight horror.

“Okay, this is what I meant by growing up too fast, smartie pants.” She just smiled back at him and nudged him to carry on.

“Well then, Mummy wrote this for you when she first found out she was having you. The doctor told her that she had to be very careful and not to do too much with herself, so with all her free time she wrote to you.” Jughead was waiting for a response from his daughter, and when he didn’t get one he took it as means to carry on.

“To my little bug-”

“That’s what you call me, Daddy.” She said happily. Jughead could only smile.

“It’s what me and Mummy called you before we knew you were a girl, before you were born.” She contemplated that for a moment.

“Okay, I not stop you anymore. Keep going.”

“To my little bug, I love you so much already. Me and Daddy can hardly believe you are in there! I can’t wait until I can feel you moving in there, my love. I don’t know if I can wait the 8 months to meet you. The doctor told Mummy I have to take it very easy, and your Daddy is making sure of that. He’s going to be the best in the world baby, I just know it. You and I are so lucky to have him. I promise to fill this whole journal with stories about Mummy and Daddy, and all about our journey together while you’re growing. I can’t wait to see your face bug, I secretly hope you look just like your Daddy. I hope my heart is big enough for the both of you!.”

“Daddy? You okay?” Juniper looked up at him and reached her little hand out to wipe a tear that had slipped down Jugheads cheek. “Why are you sad?” He kissed her hand that was against his face and put the journal on the ground,

“I just miss your Mum, bug. But I’m so lucky to have a little bit of her in you.” Juniper snuggled in closer to her Dad. “I think that’s enough for tonight, you need to sleep little one.”

“You forgot before, Daddy. When you told me about what Mummy likes.”

“Mm? What did I forget?” She looked up at him and he brushed her hair from her face. She had a smile on her face just like Betty’s and it made his heart twist in his chest.

“You! Silly. Auntie Ronnie told me that you were Mummy’s soul friend and I always remember.” He could feel his eyes wanting to cry again but forced it back, he didn’t want to end up upsetting Junie.

“Auntie Ronnie wasn’t wrong, baby. Mummy is my soul mate.” He lightly kissed her nose as he rose from her bed and tucked her in. “And you should be on that list too, Junie. She loved you more than anything.”

He stood in her doorway for a moment after he switched off her light, her face illuminated from the light in the hall as she fell into a peaceful sleep. She was the perfect balance of himself and Betty, he thought. His heart broke more every day without her, but those glimpses of her in Juniper helped to mend it.

“I miss you, Betts. So much. I wish you could see her grow. There’s so much you in her, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. You knew I could never live without you, and with giving me her meant I never have too. I love you for that.”

Splash Days

A/N: This is how I imagine the place they visited.

You loved days out with your family. So, with Harry home, a irritable four year old (who had coincidentally been bugging her mummy for a day out) and you wanting to be with your family, you woke Harry up and decided to go to a small children’s splash park.

Harry nuzzled into your neck as you spoke. “Mmm, love teh. But five minutes.” He moaned. “No, Harry lets get up now, c’mon, let’s wake Darce up!” You smiled nuzzling into Harry. “Just wanna cuddle yeh for a bit” He smiles. You smile back at your gorgeous boyfriend. “Harry! C’mon, let’s go!” You smiled pushing him off earning a groan.

Harry’s hand gripped the wheel as he cruised along the road. Two Ghosts playing and Darcy singing along with a smile upon her lips. Harry smiled as he sings a slight high note. “Daddy! Again! Again!” Darcy screams as the song comes to the end. “Darce, not again” you giggle. Harry puts on ‘Happily’ by One Direction. They’re both dancing and singing along in the car and you couldn’t be happier to call them your family.

Upon arriving at the Splash park you were holding Darcy’s hand and she was jumping erratically. “Calm down Darce” Harry laughed. “Two adults and a child please” Harry smiles handing her a tenner. We were buzzed through the gates and before you could stop her, Darcy  ran into the tiny pool that would just come up to her belly. Harry smiled and wrapped his arm around you and pulled you closer keeping an close eye on your daughter. You found some sunbeds beside the small depthed pool. Harry took off his top and laid down look absolutely gorgeous in his yellow shorts and his tattoos on show. Definitely the hottest Dad you’d ever seen. Harry offered you a smile and you returned. “Why don’t yeh take yeh top off so yeh in somethin’ cooler?” Harry asked. After your pregnancy you felt really uncomofortable in your own skin. You had been reassured by Harry multiple times. “Luv, everyone here has been through this and they understand, them marks are from our beautiful baby girl, okay?” Harry smiled. You smiled and nodded. You plucked up a bit of courage and took off your top showing your stretch marks but Harry couldn’t be more in love with you and your body.

“Daddy! Look at this!” Darcy smiled holding up a bucket and spade she had found. “Thats cool sweets, shall Daddy get in with you?” Harry asks with a welcoming smile. But before she could even answer he was already on his feet walking towards his curly haired offspring. Darcy beamed as her Daddy approached her making your heart melt with love. Harry sat on one of the podiums whilst Darcy handed him the bucket. Harry filled the bucket and whilst Darcy had turned her back to Harry to shout at you to come in, he poured the cold water down her back. Darcy turned around and in a four year old hump, hit Harry. “Oi! Munchakin!” Harry acted to be mad. He stood up and began walking towards Darcy making her run to you. She climbed upon your lap and cuddled softly inside. You wrapped your arms around her and laughed as Harry walked closer. “Daddy no!” She laughed. You shielded her away but Harry tickled your side making your daughter easier to catch. “Mummy!” She giggled as Harry bundled her up in his arms. “You’re all mine.” He said as he nuzzled him self into her tummy. “Daddy!!” She giggled.

After their little play fight had ended, Darcy was quite happy building sandcastles in the sand pit with Harry whilst you leisurely read your book. Feeling quite thirsty you took out your purse and ask Harry what he wanted to drink before heading over to the Cafe.

“Can I have one cappuccino, a still water and a blackcurrant fruit shoot please.” You smiled. The lady got your drinks and began making your cappuccino. Then, one of the other girls inside the Cafe spoke up. “Have you seen that guy in the yellow shorts. Jesus he’s gorgeous! He’s so sweet with his little girl too!” The woman smiled. You clearly wasn’t seen with your daughter and husband whilst in the sandpit. “Yes! Oh my god, doesn’t he just have the hottest tattoos.” One other spoke, you though of all the nights you traced them and now memorise them. “He’s such a Dilf!” The other spoke. “There’s your cappuccino my love, careful the lids quite flimsy.” The server said. You smiled and took your cappuccino. As you walked back to your sunbeds you passed Darcy her fruit shoot and Harry his water but not before placing a kiss on his wet pink lips. He smiled as you walked away from your peck and sat down with your drink.

“Everyone we are about to do our party dances in the pool so if we could have all the boys and girls inside the pool helping our girls!” The manager said through the tannoy. Harry grabbed Darcy up and helped her walk towards the pool before they both started joining in with ‘Chocolate’. You picked up Harry’s phone as it was closer to you and got in the pool with everyone. You began to take photos of Harry and Darcy admiring their love for each other. Harry honestly was the best Dad and with that you could never fault him. “Look! Smile at Mummy!” Harry smiled. Darcy turned and gave you a big cheesy grin and Harry did too. Your heart burst with the love you had for two people. How could you be so lucky?

Things had switched around and now you were having some Mummy time with Darcy, you’d played chase around the pool, built multiple sandcastles that she proceed to knock down finding it hilarious. But with the pool being Darcy’s favourite you had relocated back there. “Babe! C’mon, picture for Daddy!” Harry smiled. You picked Darcy up and pressed a kiss to her lips. “My beautiful ladies.” Harry smiled.

You were all having some lunch when a elderly woman came over and began speaking. “My love, can I just say what a beautiful family you have. Especially your husband here, he’s quite the hunk!” She smiled. Harry always seemed to attract elderly woman, but you loved seeing Harry blush. “Well, I’m most definitely the best looking here” Harry said obviously vainly to tease his daughter. “Not with this little sunshine.” The woman said smiling at Darcy. “Of course not” Harry smiled.

After a long day, it blipped up upon your screen that Harry had posted a photo on Instagram. There was a picture of you both labelled: ‘harrystyles: My world.’

Three in the bed.

On drizzly nights when the kids are all off doing their own things, watching television, doing homework, or playing with each other, you and Harry tend to unwind in the bedroom, the two of you sprawled out on the kind size bed, cuddled with each other while you talk about random things, from ridiculous stories of the day, to how suddenly the kids are growing up.

What’s a Soulmate?

So I really wanted to do a Barry Allen/Reader daughter fic, although this is kinda terrible.

If you want more kid fics just tell me!

“Daddy. What’s a soulmate?” Barry looked up from his paper that he was reading -even in this modern world, he couldn’t get out the old fashioned habit- and came face to face with his five-year-old daughter.

“A soulmate?” The speedster picked up his young child that is the spitting image of him, from the hair to skin tone, and seated her on his lap, as she wore a cheeky smile.

“Yeah. Mummy was saying that you and she are soulmates.” Barry grinned at the thought of you. Y/D/N was exactly like you while looking like him. Her smile and laugh mirrored your’s and the chocolate haired superhero heart swelled every time he saw the two of you together.

“Well, a soulmate is like a best friend, but more.” Y/D/N looked up, locking her Y/E/C eyes with Barry’s and her confused little face.

“Like how you and Uncle Cisco are best friends?” Barry laughed slightly and shook his head, causing his daughter to become further confused.

“No sweetie, not like that. A soulmate is the one person in the world who knows you better than anyone else.”

“Like how Aunt Iris knows you like Chocolate Ice-Cream?” Y/D/N understood this concept but was failing to grasp what made her Mother her Dad’s soulmate if other people knew him just as well.

Barry laughed again, not noticing you walking out of the living room’s adjoining study and leaning against the room’s doorway.

“A soulmate is someone who makes you a better person. Wait, no, that’s wrong. They don’t make you a better person, you do that yourself. Because they inspire you.” Y/D/N’s face turned dreamy as she took in her Father’s words.

“The one person who knew you and accepted you, believed in you before anyone else did, or if no-one else would.” Your words caused both your daughter and husband to turn to you, a smile on both their faces.

“And no matter what happens, you’ll always love them. Nothing can ever change that. “ Barry finished as you came to sit next to him on the sofa, pulling Y/D/N into a hug.

“Do I have a soulmate?” Your daughter asked, hope in her eyes.

“Of course.” You smiled, exchanging a look with Barry. “You have us.”

Y/D/N made a face. “But I’m not gonna marry you guys.”

You and Barry couldn’t help but laugh. “You won’t be marrying anyone for a long time.”

“I had desperately hoped that that was what you were so excited about, Petal.”
  • Charles would be so sweet to you when you were pregnant, getting you anything you wanted. And of course, he’d always know exactly what you wanted.
  • He’d spend hours tracing gently over your stomach while you were both reading.
  • His face when he felt the baby kick for the first time. Your eyes would meet his and he would just completely light up.
  • He’d be worried about what mutation your child would have. He’d be worried that they’d have to deal with what he had when he was younger. You’d assure him that whatever it was, Charles could deal with it with your help.
  • Charles singing your to your belly when you can’t sleep
  • He would be on the pregnancy diet as well, no alcohol or anything because he wanted to support you.
  • Of course, Charles would try and read the babies mind before it was born.
  • When it was time for you to give birth, Charles would be panicked and the whole mansion would be stressed as a result. You’d have to calm him down, rolling your eyes.
  • Charles would stay by your side, holding your hand tightly and calming your mind.
  • You’d scream at him to get out of your mind when the pain got particularly bad but once he left you’d scream at him to get back in and help you, so with a slight smirk, he would.
  • Once you’d got the baby out, Charles would hold it gently in his arms, grinning from ear to ear.
  • “Oh, you’re beautiful.” He’d whisper, “Just like Mummy.”
  • You’d smile at that and drowsily accept the child when he placed it in your arms.
  • “You did so well, love.” He’d say, brushing your hair back from your forehead and placing a kiss there.
  • “I love you.”
“When You Love Someone”

Summary: (based on the song written by James TW.) Divorced parents imagine…

Send requests to my inbox

You bent down to your knees and straightened out your ten-year-old son’s clothing. You tucked his white shirt inside his khakis and zipped up his sweater. You took his shoe laces and double knotted each of them. You looked at your boy; his eyes were just like yours but his facial features a younger replica of his father. “You be good in school today, alright?” you sounded hopeful. The effects of divorced parents were definitely taking a toll on him.

He nodded, “Yes, mum.”

You put the straps of his Spider-Man backpack over his shoulders. “You’re going to your dad’s house tonight, are you excited?”

He just shrugged. His eyes were avoidant. Your son was tapping his feet, his hands fidgeting. He was getting antsy as you got him ready for school. “Is your sleeping bag packed?” you asked him. He nodded. “Good,” you smiled, “Daddy will pick you up after school. Have you memorized Mummy’s number?” He nodded again. “I want you to ring me if you need anything, okay?” You son nodded. “Take care your sister, okay?” Another nod. “Say ‘yes, Mummy,’” you instructed.

“Yes, Mummy,” he said forcibly.

“A Day At The Potters”  ~  Teddy x reader

“can I request a Gryffindor!reader x Edward Remus (Teddy) Lupin? Reader is a family friend of the Potter’s and ends up at their house over the summer holiday. Reader is really anxious and keeps to themself a lot and calls Teddy ‘Edward’ usually. He’s one of the only ones who can get through to the reader emotionally. You pick where it goes from there.” ~Anon

Oh. My. Goodness. Let me just say that this imagine request is so cute! I’m sorry that it took me forever to write this. I’ve just started back to school, and I already have a ton of assignments to do. I finally found some extra time, and I have enjoyed it so much (just because writing requests is one of my favorite things to do). I hope you like it!😊😘

Y/n took a deep breath. There she was, standing at the front door of the Potters’ residence. She felt a bit nervous, though she’d been here many times before. She didn’t really like being surrounded by a lot of people. All she wanted to do was hang out with her best friend, Teddy. Finally, she knocked.

Y/n opened her eyes to see a little redheaded girl standing in front of her. Before the both of them could speak, a voice interrupted the silence from inside.

“Lily, what have I told you about answering the door?”

“But, Mummy!” She smiled sweetly. “It’s y/n!”

The woman turned to her. “Oh! Y/n! It’s so nice to see you!” she said, giving her a hug. “Come in, come in!”

Y/n walked inside and looked around the living room with interest. The room hadn’t changed, but it always felt different each time she visited. Sh couldn’t understand why, though. It was a mystery.

“Just set your bags down by the sofa.” Ginny directed. “I’ll take them up after dinner.”

Footstep were heard running around upstairs.

“Did mum say dinner?” James asked Albus, who seemed just as ecstatic.

The two boys ran down the stairs and straight into the kitchen.

Teddy wasn’t too far behind. He chuckled at their excitement and rolled his eyes as he walked over to y/n.

“Y/n!” he exclaimed. “It’s so great to see you!”

“It’s great to see you as well, Edward.”

At dinner, Harry and Ginny told everyone about Fred and George’s pranks on Umbridge and how McGonagall didn’t seem to care.

“So, y/n.” Harry began, “What’s one thing your going to miss after this year at Hogwarts?”

She froze in her place. She hadn’t really thought about this being her last year. “Ummm…” fidgeting with her fingers, Teddy answered in her place.
“Definitely not the moving staircases.”

Harry and Ginny laughed at his response. However, James looked horrified.

“The stairs move?”

Teddy smirked. “You get used to them after a while.”

Dinner seemed to go on forever. Y/n kept to herself mostly, besides the few times when she would get asked to pass the salt or the usual questions about her past school years. She let out a silent sigh of relief when dinner had finally ended. Ginny took her bags up to the guest room, and at last, she was alone, until someone knocked on her door.

She got up from her spot and opened the door to see Teddy with a huge grin on his face. “May I come in?”

She nodded with a small smile, shutting the door behind them. Sitting back down, she waited for him to talk.

“You seemed really quiet at dinner.” he stated, sitting down beside her. “Is everything alright.”

Y/n nodded. “I’m fine.”

Again, she nodded.

The room was silent. The both of them sat there, staring at the floor. James, Albus, and Lily were heard in the hallway, running back and forth with echoing laughter.

Teddy chuckled. “They’re so loud.”

Y/n remained silent.

“Are sure you’re okay?”

Y/n sighed. “I’m just nervous is all.”

“Why are you nervous, y/n?”

Shrugging, she spoke again. “I just hadn’t thought about this being my last year at Hogwarts.” She paused, taking a deep breath. “And, I just… you know…

Teddy took over their conversation. “It is unnerving, yeah. I don’t know the least about living on my own, providing an income, or even finding a job for that matter. Now you’ve got me thinking about it!”

She giggled lightly.

“So…” He brushed his fingers through his hair. “What will you miss most about Hogwarts?”

Y/n knew exactly what she’d miss most. She just didn’t want to say it. Her stomach tightened more and more as each millisecond passed, causing her to fidget with her fingers like she had done at dinner.

Placing his hand on top of hers, he gave her a warm, reassuring smile. “You can tell me.”

She took a deep breath. “You.”

Biting her bottom lip nervously, she continued. “Yeah. Like, hanging out with you by the lake and in the library, partnering up in classes for projects, and just… you.”

To y/n’s surprise, his smile only got bigger.

“Don’t you think, for one second, that we’re never going to see each other again after this year, because you know that I’ll be over all the time to eat chocolate and talk about why Hufflepuff is better than Gryffindor.”

Knowing that last part was a joke, she giggled slightly.

“Besides…” he continued. “We still have a whole school year full of adventure waiting for us.”

The door burst open and the three Potter kids ran in.

“Teddy!” Lily exclaimed, grabbing his hand and trying to drag him from his spot. “Come play with us!”

James rolled his eyes annoyance. “Please…”

Albus walked over to y/n. “I want y/n on my team.”

Teddy laughed at the chaos going on in front of him. “What if I want y/n on my team?”

James eyed the two of them carefully, knowing that something was going on.

Y/n smiled sweetly at Teddy. “Albus already called me, Edward. I’m sorry.”

Lily raised her arms from her sides. “Who’s Edward?”

“I am.” Teddy stated. “‘Teddy’ is just a nickname.”

James slowly left the room, trying to hide his laughter, but failing.

James came back in. “Not telling.”

Lily’s shouting continued. “YOU HAVE TO TELL, JAMES!”

While the three children argued about James’ secret, Teddy placed his hand back on top of y/n’s. She bit her lip with a small grin as she turned her face toward the wall next to her.

James took notice, and soon enough, told his secret in a sing-song tone.

“Teddy has a girlfriend.”

Lily looked offended. “HIS NAME IS EDWARD!”

He laughed. “OKAY!” He took a deep breath and went back to his chanting. “Edward has a girlfriend. Edward has a girlfriend!”It didn’t take long for the other two to chime in.

Teddy’s face turned red with embarrassment. “Guys…”

Albus looked at y/n with a cheesy smile. “He talks about you all the time.”

Y/n giggled. “Is that true?”

Lily nodded over dramatically. “All. The. Time.”

Y/n continued to giggle as she stared at the floor nervously.

“This isn’t how I intended to ask you out, but…” He paused. “Would you like to be my girlfriend?”

She looked up from the floor and into his currently blue eyes. “I would like that very much.”

Without hesitation, he kissed her cheek.

Lily gasped from the cuteness. “Aww!”

James simply giggled and started chanting again. “Edward has a girlfriend! Edward has a girlfriend!”

Albus and Lily soon chimed in, and the three of them quickly made their way into the hall so the whole house could hear the news.

Teddy and y/n laughed with embarrassment and happiness.

Maybe y/n’s last year at Hogwarts wouldn’t be as sad as she thought it would be.

“Mummy?” said little William one day at the breakfast table, picking at his cream of wheat.

“Yes dear? And stop playing with your food,” Mummy said.

William begrudgingly ate a spoonful of the stuff. After he’d swallowed, he said, “Mummy, Father loves you very much.”

A smile spread across Mummy’s face. “Yes he does, darling. And I love him too.”

William seemed to be contemplating something very hard as he stared into his bowl of beige mush. “Mummy, when I get big, I’m going to marry a boy just like Father. Someone who is nice and handsome and loves me a lot.”

Mummy just smiled adoringly over her mug of coffee at her little boy. “I’m sure you will, Billy. And he’ll be the luckiest man in the world.”

William absolutely beamed, then began eating his cream of wheat again.

Roughly 40 years later, Mummy was dancing with her son at his wedding. She caught his new husband looking on proudly from the side of the floor. John’s eyes were swollen with all the tenderness and love in the world as he stared on in adoration at the consulting detective.

Sherlock nudged her, smiling shyly. “Told you I would find him.” He cast a soft answering gaze at his soldier-doctor.

Mummy squeezed Sherlock’s arm, holding back happy tears, so glad that her sweet son had found the perfect man to love him. “You certainly did, my lamb,” she sniffled.

Yes - Harry Styles Mini Series (Part 8)

Part 7

**Word Count 2,824

It’s been a few months now and you were starting show a little baby bump. If Harry had a hard time keeping his hands off of you before, he was having an even harder time now. Any chance he got, his hand was on your belly and it wasn’t even that big at the moment, but he still cherished it any chance he got.

In the mornings and late at night, he would sing little lullabies to the baby in your belly because he read in one of his books that it was good for baby’s to hear the sound of their parent’s voices.

One night you two were laying in bed, music was playing softly in the background. You were leaning against Harry and his hands were on your belly running his fingers up and down.

Tomorrow was going to be a big day for the two of you. You had a sonogram scheduled and it would be the first time that you’ll have seen your growing baby.

“Are you excited for tomorrow?” You asked.

“I’m so fucking excited,” he smiled. “We get to see our little baby for the first time and I can’t wait.”

“It’s definitely going to make it seem real, if it doesn’t already,” you giggled.

“Maybe tomorrow we could go shopping for some baby things after the appointment? We can make it a day all about the baby?” He smiled.

“I’d love that,” you smiled. “I know we won’t find out the sex of the baby for another few weeks, but I can’t wait to find little outfits and toys.”

Harry smiled. “I’ve been trying so hard not to just buy everything before now,” he joked.

“You’re going to spoil our baby so much,” you giggled.

“Oh, don’t even act like you’re not going to either,” he scoffed.

“I never said that I wouldn’t,” you laughed.

He laughed and kissed your head. “We’ve come a long way these past few months,” he whispered. “It’s hard to believe that we weren’t even together four months ago.”

“I know it’s crazy,” you smiled. “I feel like we never were even apart. We just picked up where we left off. Like we hit the pause button and press play a year later and it was still in the same spot.”

“Maybe that was what we needed all along, you know,” he said. “Maybe all the other times, our break-ups were still too fresh when we got back together, so the hurt was still there and just any little thing sent us over the edge again.”

“Maybe so,” you nodded. “But I’m glad we’re good now. We’re happy and in love, with a little baby getting all ready to come into this world.”

“I love you,” he whispered.

You smiled looking back at him. “And I love you,” you whispered.

The morning of the doctor’s appointment was a little crazy. Both you and Harry had woken up almost two hours earlier than you really needed to for the appointment, so you decided to get in a little bit of a workout and some yoga before getting in the shower.

You two were both nervous and excited and just couldn’t wait until you were able to see the baby. You were nervous because you hoped everything was okay with the baby and yourself.

Once you two were ready to go out, you decided to stop for some breakfast, since you still had a good hour before your appointment. Harry noticed that you seemed quiet in the car, so he took your hand.

“You okay?” He asked.

“Yeah, I’m just nervous,” you said.

“I know,” he nodded. “But the baby, everything is going to be okay. You’re doing everything right, you’re eating so healthy, and working out. You’re not stressing, you’re taking your prenatal vitamins. You’re already being the best Mummy.”

You smiled. “I really hope our future son or daughter believes that.”

“Of course, they will. They’re gonna be so damn lucky that you’re their Mum,” he smiled.

“And they’re so lucky to have you as their Daddy,” you smiled.

He smiled widely and kissed your hand. After breakfast, you two headed to the doctor’s office. You filled out some paperwork and then they took you back. They took your weight, blood pressure, and some blood before taking you back to the room.

Harry helped you onto the bed and they laid you back. They pulled up your shirt, revealing your little bump, causing Harry to smile. They put a little towel in your jeans and set everything up.

“Normally this gel is a bit on the cold side, but we’ve warmed it up a bit, so let me know if it’s too warm,” she said.

You nodded and Harry grabbed your hand. The lady poured a huge amount of gel on your belly and used the little wand to move around. You and Harry were looking at each other waiting until your baby hit the screen.

“Okay, so are you ready to see your little bundle of joy?” She asked.

“Yes,” you both smiled.

“Well, then take a look at the screen,” she smiled.

You and Harry both looked over and both supported the biggest smiles on your faces.

“And to make it even happier here is the heartbeat,” she smiled.

As soon as the sound filled the room, you and Harry teared up as you watched the baby that you and Harry made together moving around on the screen.

“That’s our baby,” you whispered.

Harry let out a little sob as he wiped at his eyes. “This is so bloody amazing,” he whispered. “We made that.”

You giggled wiping at your eyes. “Yeah, we did, didn’t we.”

“Everything looks great. The baby is growing on time and the heartbeat is strong,” she said.

“See baby, I told you everything was going to be okay,” he smiled kissing your head.

“Would you like to take some copies home?” She asked.

“YES! We want as many as you can give us,” Harry smiled.

She laughed. “I’ll get those printed out and be right back,” she said wiping the gel off of your belly.

“Thank you,” you smiled sitting up.

She leaves and you look over at Harry. “I didn’t think I’d be that emotional,” you giggled wiping your eyes.

“Me either,” he smiled. “There really is a baby in there,” he giggled kissing your belly. “Ew.. there’s still some gel on there I think.”

You giggled and the doctor came back with the photos and the two of you headed to the car.

Just like you and Harry said the night before, you both went to some baby shops after the appointment.

“These are so adorable,” you giggle holding up little baby shoes.

“I can’t believe their feet are so tiny,” he said.

“I know it’s hard to think about how your feet used to be that tiny,” you laughed.

“A lot of things used to be tiny and aren’t so tiny anymore,” he smirked.

“Ew,” you said. “That comment was not necessary and there are children around.”

“They’re not going to know what I’m talking about,” he laughed.

“Yeah, well because of you, they’re gonna ask their parents,” you said.

“You know that’s going to us one day,” he said. “That baby in there is going to ask us where babies come from and other uncomfortable topics. We should probably figure out how we’re gonna handle that.”

“I think we have a few years before we have to worry about that conversation,” you giggled.

“Kids grow up fast Y/N, it might be sooner than you think,” he joked.

“Especially with having you as their father,” you laughed.

“Hey!” He laughed.

“Anyway, I think we should get these,” you said holding up the shoes again.

“Whatever you want baby,” he smiled.

You ended up picking up a few things and took them to the checkout counter. When you looked outside the window of the shop, you noticed there was one guy with a camera across the street.

So far, nothing has been reported regarding you being pregnancy, which was mostly because you hadn’t been showing. But you knew that now you were showing, it would only be a matter of time.

You just didn’t think the first time they might notice is when you and Harry were in a baby store.

“Don’t worry. We have plenty of friends who have babies, so it’s not all that odd for us to be here,” he whispered.

“I know, but I’m starting to show. What if it they pick it up in the pictures?” You asked.

“You could hold the bag in front,” he said. “And stand on the side away from them.”

“That could work,” you nodded.

He smiled giving you a quick kiss and paying for the items. He handed you the bag and took your hand as you both went outside. You were going to grab some lunch next, so you decided to walk to a cafe that was nearby.

You could tell the guy was following you two, even though he was all the way on the other side of the street. You were starting to get annoyed, mostly because you were hungry, but also because you didn’t want him getting any closer and seeing your belly.

You and Harry didn’t want anyone beside your close friends and family to know about the baby. It wasn’t anyone else’s business and while you both loved your fans, this was something you two wanted to keep private until you no longer could.

“You know we’re really going to have to figure something out once the little tot is born to keep them safe from all of that,” you sighed nodding over at the pap.

“Oh, I’m already looking into it,” he said. “No one is going to be making money off of our child. It’s one thing taking photos of us, but our child is another thing.”

“I agree. I mean I’ll be sharing some photos on my social media, but I’m not going to just flaunt them in the public eye like that,” you said.

“Completely agree. It’s one thing when we chose to put photos of them out there, but not anyone else,” he said. “I’ll be okay with family posting their own photos, but not anyone else.”

Later that night, you and Harry went back to his house. Even though you were pretty much living with Harry now, it was still technically his house. He bought it, renovated it, and decorated it all himself. A part of you felt a little weird and more like you were just having a long sleepover with your boyfriend, but it was still new, staying there and gradually having your things shipped over.

Since you were on your feet all day, you wanted to get out of the jeans you were wearing and get into something comfy and prop your feet up. As soon as you walked through the door, you went up to the room and took off your jeans and blouse from that day and grabbed one of Harry’s shirts to wear.

That night was a no pants night because you just wanted to let your tiny belly breathe. You went back downstairs and saw that Harry had already started working on the pizza.

You had been craving pizza, so Harry suggested stopping by the store and getting things to make your own pizzas at home. One it would be fun to have a little interactive date night and two because making your own would be much healthier for you and the baby than going to the local pizzeria.

“So, I propose we have a little challenge,” he smirked.

“Oh, and what’s that?” You asked.

“See who makes the better pizza,” he smirked. “We have all the same ingredients to chose from, but we switch it a bit and see which one is better.”

“But how are we going to determine that… of course we’re each going to say ours is the best,” you said.

“I have an idea. We label the plates and put a slice on each and then we blindfold the other or something and switch the pizzas around and then try them like that,” he said.

“Oookay,” you laughed. “I guess that could work, but either way, my pizza is going to be the bomb.”

“Oh, it’s on,” he smirked. “It’s so fucking on.”

“Language around the baby,” you gasped.

He rolled his eyes. “Says the one who was practically screaming it over and over again just last night,” he smirked.

“Oh, shut up!” you blushed.

He laughed and pre-heated the oven before walking back over to the counter and setting everything out.

“Okay, ready?” He asked.

“What is this going to a timed-event?” You laughed.

“Yep, 10 minutes to prepare, just in time for the oven to pre-heat,” he said.

“That’s more than enough time to kick your ass,” you smirked.

He rolled his eyes. “Ready, set, go,” he said setting the timer on his phone.

Since you weren’t exactly a sauce type of girl, you for went the sauce and grabbed a bunch of herbs and garlic powder and sprinkled it on top of the crust. Once you were done with that, you patted them into the dough before adding some cheese and toppings.

When the timer went off, you both took your pizza’s over to the oven and put them. Harry shut the door and you grabbed a marker and a paper plate before writing an H for Harry’s and the letter of your first name on the bottom.

It was time to take the pizza’s out, so Harry got them out and let them cool for a bit before cutting them into slices. He put his slice on his plate and yours on yours before mixing them up a few times over and over again.

“Blindfold or no?” He asked.

“I’m starving, so no,” you joked.

He laughed and you both took a bite of each slice.

“The one on the right,” you said.

“Yeah, lots more flavor,” he said. “Let’s see which one it is.” He picked up the plate and saw it was yours.

“Duh, it’s mine because mine didn’t have sauce on it,” you smirked.

“You cheated!” He gasped.

“Not really, you said it yourself that it was better,” you smirked grabbing yourself another slice.

He mumbled something before grabbing a few more for himself and the two of you went over to the couch and sat down. You propped your feet up and turned on Netflix.

“It’s my turn to chose what we watch,” you smirked and put on your favorite show that you’re binge-watching.

“Yay,” he mocked.

You stuck your tongue out and the two of you finished your pizza before cuddling up and watching a few more episodes before calling it a night and heading upstairs for bed.

anonymous asked:

40... would be great! Xo

40. “The kids, they ambushed me.”

“Ellie! You’re supposed to eat that, sweetheart, not feed it to the floor.” Harry groaned, staring at the crackers that his 1 year old had pushed to the floor from her high chair.

“Dadda!” Was the only reply he got as he watched his daughter giggling as she hit the tray with her small hands.

“Daddy, can I have a sandwich, please?” He heard his 3 years old son, Tommy, say from behind him.

Harry scratched his forehead before looking at his son, his jaw dropping at the sight. “Why do you have colors all over your face and clothes?”

Tommy looked at his dad sheepishly, hiding his hands behind his back. “I think I forgot to put the caps on.”

Harry sighed, turning to look at his daughter who began shouting the few words she knew at him to gain his attention. “Can you sit here while I clean your sister up then I can help you take a shower?” Harry asked his son, looking at him tiredly.

“But the sandwich.” Tommy whined, “Where’s mummy?”

“You know mummy is out with aunt Gem. You can’t eat with your hands full of colors like that, it’s going to cause diseases. Would you want that?” Harry cocked a brow at his son.

Tommy shook his head before he lifted his arms up to be lifted by Harry on the kitchen stool, watching his dad as he picked up the crackers from the floor and threw them away.

“Mummy always says that Ellie shouldn’t have all the crackers to herself. You should give her one by one.” Tommy informed.

Harry frowned at the fact that he didn’t know that. In fact, it was his first time being alone without you with Ellie. Instead of answering, Harry nodded before he hoisted his daughter on his hip.

“Come on, shower first then I can make you a sandwich.” He said as he helped Tommy off the stool before watching him run off up the stairs.

He whiffed the air, face scrunching up at the odor before looking at his daughter who was giving him a sheepish smile. He chuckled, “It’s you, isn’t it, you little stink ball?”

In the meantime, you had your phone in your hand, glancing at it every minute to see if Harry called you, even though you didn’t have it on silent.

“Y/N, relax. I’m sure he’s doing just fine.” Gemma chuckled from the chair beside you as you both sat getting your nails done, Gemma’s treat because “you look too much like a mum and need a day out at the spa.”

You sighed, “He’s never been alone with Ellie before and Tommy is going through that very energetic phase. I can’t help but worry.”

“He’s their dad. He’s going to have to deal with that sooner or later.” Gemma smiled at you.

You nodded, locking your phone before smiling back at her. “You’re right. He’s probably doing fine.”

Harry was not doing fine.

After he had googled how to change a nappy because he forgot how to, only having to change Tommy about 4 times only when he was younger, he thought he had successfully sealed the nappy before finding that only one of Ellie’s legs were in the hole.

Tommy wasn’t easy in the shower, having to splash Harry with water a few times and screaming bloody murder when he felt the shampoo get in his eyes, confusing Harry because “It’s a no-tears shampoo.”

“Daddy, can you make me a sandwich now?” Tommy asked, gripping Harry’s leg just as he was about to sit on the couch with Ellie on his lap.

Harry smiled and nodded, getting up with Ellie in his arms and his son holding his t-shirt. Harry knew his son’s favorite. He liked goat cheese.
After spreading the cheese on the toast, Harry handed Tommy the sandwich who said a polite “Thank you” before taking a bite and making a face.

“What?” Harry asked confusingly before Tommy grabbed his hand, spitting out the piece of wet bread in his hand, making Harry scrunch his face.

“I don’t like goat cheese.” Tommy said, looking at Harry with a disgusted face.

“But-” Harry began, cutting himself off as he threw the piece in his hand in the trash can and sighing as he washed his hand. Just then, the doorbell rang.
Harry put Ellie in her chair before he started walking towards the door, “Watch your sister, please.” Harry mumbled as he passed Tommy before walking towards the door and opening it.

You looked at Harry; tousled hair, stained wrinkled t-shirt, red cheeks and tired eyes. He immediately wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you inside as he hugged you tightly, pushing his face to your neck, pressing gentle kisses. “Awh, baby, what happened?” You cooed.

“The kids, they ambushed me.” Harry whispered, looking at you. “I don’t think they like me.”

“Hey, don’t be silly, I-”

“Mummy!” You heard Tommy’s voice before you felt a pair of arms around your legs, making you grin as you lifted your son in your arms with a grunt. “Someone got big.” You smiled.

“Ellie and I missed you today, mummy. Don’t leave again.” He said, nuzzling his head in your neck sadly. You looked at Harry who shot you a “See?!” look before shaking his head and walking towards the kitchen.

You walked after Harry, setting Tommy on the ground. “Mumma!”

“Hey, baby!” You grinned as you lifted your daughter in your arms, greeting her with pampering kisses.

Harry sat on the stool, watching you interact with the kids with a tired smile on his face. “Mummy, can I have crackers, please?”

You smiled, handing Tommy his crackers. “Hey, baby, why don’t you eat your crackers in the living room then go upstairs so daddy and I could read you a bedtime story, yeah?”

Tommy grinned, running off to the living room. “Come on, let’s put Ellie to bed together.” You said gently to Harry, holding your sleepy daughter in your arms.

Harry sighed, following you up the stairs and to Ellie’s room. You gently put her in her crib, turning on her fairy lights before looking at Harry and wrapping your arms around his torso.

“They can get very fussy. You didn’t do anything wrong, I’m sure.” You said, cupping Harry’s cheeks in your hands.

“It’s like I don’t know the little things they like.” Harry frowned, wrapping his arms loosely around you.

“Ellie is only 1, love. You have plenty of time. Tommy’s likes and dislikes change about every two days, he’s getting there. He loves you. He looks up to you. You should hear him talk about you when you’re away. It’s like you put the stars in the moon.”

“Really?” Harry asked with hopeful eyes, staring into your own soft ones.

“I love you. I’m sorry I didn’t make your night end well.” Harry apologized, wrapping his arms tightly around you, brushing your lips with his.

“How about I make up for yours?” You suggested, watching Harry’s eyes glint.

Very sorry it took me long to post. x

For those who enjoyed “Map of the World,”… A small continuation.

“What did you do?”

And Mummy Holmes narrows her eyes at her youngest, who is sitting in his chair projecting an air of innocent bafflement that she doesn’t buy for a minute.

While he may be a talented actor- like his brother- he has never been able to fool her, and she intends to keep it that way.

Besides, the only reason a man asks for access to a valuable family heirloom- particularly one which dates back to the period of the Tudors, and which nobody, theoretically speaking, actually knows the Holmes family own- is if he’s done something to his other half.

Something spectacular.

Something relationship destroying.

Something even sweet Molly Hooper would get annoyed about-

In short, the sort of something which Alexandra has no doubt her son is capable of, given that he takes after her.

The morning sun wakes me up and I smile with my eyes closed. Burying my face deeper in the white clean pillow, I open my tired eyes. I guess it’s a beautiful day waiting for me outside. And for the first time I feel excitement; what will I do today? Nothing here is compulsory, like my days in London. Looking at the alarm clock on my nightstand I am startled. 9 am. I slept very long. With a satisfied smile I fall back into the pillows and close my eyes, feeling a long missed feeling. No pressure, no expectations which I have to fulfill.

Pulling back the duvet I creep out of the bed, slipping in my expensive slippers, walking towards the window which is covered with curtains. I pull the soft rosé coloured curtains away.

The sun warms my face and my white nightgown shines bright in the light. It’s a beautiful day.
