Listen boys and girls and everyone in between, three years ago I could not leave my house by myself without crying uncontrollably and giving up by the time I stepped on the sidewalk and today I took a 2 hour flight, navigated the airport and took a cab home by myself. So. It WILL get better. I’m telling you from experience: with patience and therapy and by taking small steps, you can do anything you set your mind to.
Monday Motivation: One thing is certain. 0 effort produces 0 results. Remember this when you feel like you are going nowhere but still trying. Small steps everyday add up to a great distance traveled. 0 steps add up to going nowhere.
on days where you’re in pain and seemingly haunted by shadows and overcast thoughts, be gentle and overtly kind to yourself. remember moments where you’ve felt unbridled bliss, with cotton candy and honey coursing through your veins as dripping golden skies illuminated your wondrous, bright life. one day, you’ll embrace that warmth and pure joy time and time again. take small steps, be patient and embrace your kaleidoscope of emotions, tending to them whether they are brimming with dark hues or coated in light. take care, balance and bloom.
