Nightmare Jar Recipe

Here is a fantastic nightmare jar that has been of tremendous use for me and my friends and family.  I will say this - it only lasts about a year before you will need to make a new one.

Ingredients

1 small jar you can seal

~8 in. Black Yarn

3-10 strands of hair from the person you are trying to protect

8-20 sharp objects like rusty nails, broken glass, etc.

Salt

Lavender

Mint

Rose Petals (optional)

Bay Leaves

Candle

Sharpie

Directions

Start by placing the hair into the vessel. This tricks whatever is causing the nightmares into the jar. Then put in the sharp objects to poke and prod the negativity and trap it in the jar once and for all.

Next, put in your herbs. Mint and lavender are meant to bring restful and calm sleep, and the bay leaves are meant for cleansing and keeping evil at bay. The rose petals will bring dreams of love.

SIDE NOTE: In my experience, the rose petals brought a lot of insanely sexual dreams.  So take that and do what you want with it.

Now add about half of your salt. The black yarn absorbs the negative energies. Wrap it up in a little ball and drop it into the jar, visualizing the negativity being sucked into a black hole. Pour the remaining salt into the jar and seal it with wax from your candle.

Feel free to write inscribe protective runes or sigils into the jar with the sharpie if you so choose.

Charge the nightmare jar in the light of the moon, and keep near the bed. A window sill is best as it will need to be recharged from time to time.

Hope this helps everyone - if you have any questions or comments, let me know!

2. Sprinkle salt over the ingredients. State that you would like for the salt to cleanse them. Charge the ingredients however you want if you’d like to.

3. Place the ingredients in the jar and state your intent again afterwards. You can state your intent for each ingredient while you add them if you’d like to.

The Etiquette of Herb-Gathering

As a practicing Witch and small-scale herbalist, I often find that when I’m out and about I’m also absentmindedly on the lookout for any new, interesting or useful herb species that might help me in my practice. I even carry a small clean jam jar and a sharp penknife in my handbag at all times for if I spot a herb I just can’t resist and need to take a cutting of it for my collection back home. However, while I’m avidly seeking out roadside feverfew or happily snipping cuttings of a rare cultivar of lavender or sage, I’m always acutely aware of why I call the etiquette of herb-gathering.

These are a few simple rules by which I suggest all foraging Witches, alchemists and herbalists should abide that dictate the correct course of action for those who seek to collect herbs from places other than their own gardens. They are mostly fairly common-sense, but a few are ones that might be overlooked, but which can actually be of profound importance!

I will list the rules below, but bear in mind that it’s not like this is some onerous obligation that must be fulfilled, and nor is it some sort of “Witchcraft commandment” or infallible and unchanging list of sacred laws. These are a few things that I created for my own usage, and nobody else is under any obligation to use them. If you choose to do so, I’ll be thrilled; if you find a way to improve them, please do reblog this post with your corrections!

The Etiquette of Herb-Gathering

  1. Remember that all plants are living things, and if you harvest them too severely, they will die. This seems obvious, but you’d be shocked how many people forget! This is especially important when what you’re harvesting is the plant’s leaves - always remember that leaves are how plants make their food, so leave enough of them to enable the plant to keep growing strongly.

  2. Never forget that you may not be the only one foraging. Make sure that, when you harvest a wild growth of a herb, there may be others in the area who would also like to harvest that plant. Take only a little from a lot of patches, rather than using only two or three patches, but taking almost all of what is available at each one. This will not only ensure that other foragers can use that patch too, but will mean that when the patch regrows, you’ll know where to go back to in order to find it again instead of needing to hunt down a new patch each time.

  3. When foraging on another’s land, ask their permission first! This seems so straightforward, but sadly people forget that plants growing in other people’s gardens (yes, even their front lawn) are that person’s private property! Taking cuttings or fruits from plants on that property without the owner’s permission is legally theft, and can be punished just like shoplifting or stealing a bike from a railing. It also means that the owner will know that their plant is looking smaller because it’s been harvested, rather than them thinking it’s died or been eaten by some wild herbivore.

  4. Always cut stems at a diagonal angle. Never snip a stem so that it forms a circular, blunted end, because this can allow rainwater to build up on the surface of the cut. This rainwater can trap fungal spores, and cause the plant to get a serious fungal infection that may damage or even kill that whole patch. Instead, cut the stems at a roughly 45° angle, so that water beads up and rolls off more easily.

  5. When collecting flowers, remember that other people like to look at wildflowers. Never take ALL the flowers from any wild plant, both because it prevents that plant from reproducing as it naturally wants to do, and because it means others who walk past the plant don’t get to see it’s beautiful blooms! If you own the plant, that’s another matter - you may WANT to snip off all flowers to prevent it from bolting, like with parsley. However, with wildflowers, always leave at least half the flowers on the plant so that it can continue to reproduce as nature intended.

  6. Never pick a plant you can’t identify with total certainty. Yet another seemingly-obvious one that is nevertheless often ignored. This is often quoted for fungi, because some fungi can be quite poisonous, but if anything it’s even worse for plants. The medicinally fabulous plant known as yarrow, Achillea millefolia, is a very useful plant and a common component of herbal medicines. However, it looks almost identical to spotted water-hemlock, a species of plant so deadly that one bite can kill you in 20 minutes. Make completely certain that all plants you collect are positively identified, and that you flag all plants with commonly-confused poisonous cousins for further identification later if you’re not 100% sure.

  7. Never harvest flowers from plants around beehives. Bees are one of the most important families in the natural world, being responsible for the pollination of tens of thousands of species of flowering plants all over the world and on every forested continent. Whilst most species of bees are solitary, and don’t form the large hives we assume are common to all bees, those that DO form vast colonies need similarly vast numbers of flowers to support themselves. When you come across a beehive, especially a boxed hive that’s clearly domesticated by humans, try to avoid harvesting any flowers from within 500 metres (about a third of a mile) around the hive(s). The hive needs all the nectar and pollen it can get, and due to the rising threat of colony collapse disorder the life of every single hive is a precious thing that must be preserved at all costs. It might be inconvenient for you, but it’s worth it.

***************

These are just a few of the major rules that I personally suggest all foragers and herb-gatherers take to heart. Remember that you’re not the only Witch who needs their supplies! Thank you for reading :)

♡ flat stones found around your neighborhood, either as they are or painted in pretty pastel colors

☽Empath Protection Jar☾

I needed a jar like this for my gift for sooo long, being an empath is such a blessing and a curse. I’ve lately suffered through more problems taking in negative energy and I feel as though I need to add some protection regarding that. And I so did!

Ingredients:

  • A jar(small preferrably)
  • Chamomile infused olive oil - Peace and Security
  • Taglock of yourself (hair, blood, nail clippings)
  • A pinch of:
    • Salt - Purification
    • Black pepper - Protection
    • Basil - dispels weakness
    • Cinnamon - Strength
    • Sage - Purify
    • Clove - banish Negative forces
    • Coffee - dispel negative thoughts
    • Dandelion leaf - healing and defeating negativity
    • Bay - Healing, strengthening psychic abilities.

1. Invoke your deities or anything that can help you create it.

2. Put all of the ingredients together and while doing so you recite and repeat:

“I protect myself,
As this gift can harm,
Shall I be balanced,
Give power to this charm.”

3. Once it’s together, seal it with wax (I chose black since it corresponds with absorbing negativity, purple works too.)

4. Visualize and meditate!

So you’ve made a spell jar….now what?

I was recently asked what to do with a spell jar once it’s made. I thought my answer would be simple, but the more I wrote, the more I realized it wasn’t. So here’s a guide for those that need it showing what to do with different bottles depending on your intent.

Positive influence on yourself or in your life:
-Place somewhere you will see it very often, like a sunny window, bedside table, desk, or altar. Seeing it every day will help strengthen your intent and remind yourself why you made it.
-Place somewhere that you meditate. If you meditate regularly you can take a few moments during that time to hold the jar and focus on the spell, the result that you want, and how to help make that happen.
-Keep it on your person throughout the day. If the jar is small enough, it can be kept on you inside a purse/bag, coat pocket, or as a necklace. It will act as a conductor for the positivity that you want.

Beauty/Glamour:
-Place on vanity or in bathroom. Placing it at the central point of your daily beauty routine will maximize the use of the spell bottle.
-Keep in makeup bag/kit. Keeping it in a container with all of your beauty supplies will infuse it’s intent with everything inside.
-Stash inside your dresser or closet with the clothes that correspond to your spell (date clothes, party/club clothes, formal wear, lingerie).
-Bury in a pot of flowers and keep by a mirror you use for your daily beauty routine. Flowers are a universal symbol of beauty and having something living channel your spell makes it much stronger.
-Keep it on your person throughout the day. If the jar is small enough, it can be kept on you inside a purse/bag, coat pocket, or as a necklace. Keeping the jar close to you will help influence the beauty spell/glamour longer and stronger.

Weight Loss/Gain and Exercise:
-Stash inside your gym bag/locker. It will serve as a boost right before you work out.
-Keep with your food. If you are using it to control eating habits, keep it in your pantry/fridge IN FRONT of all of your food. It will be a barrier between you and your food. You’ll have to get past the jar before you touch anything else.
-Keep it on you’re kitchen table. If you are using it to battle eating disorders and/or increase your eating habits, place it where you eat all of your meals.
-Take it with you while you move. If you like to ride your bike for exercise, use an unbreakable/break resistant bottle and tie it to your bike. If you like to walk/run with your kids in a running stroller, put it on the stroller where your child can’t reach it.
-Store it with your work out clothes. The spell will bleed over into the clothes so that you have it whenever you put them on.
-Keep it on your person. If the jar is small enough, it can be kept on you inside a purse/bag, coat pocket, or as a necklace. It will influence you as well as remind you of our goals all day.

Influence Relationships:
-Place in the heart of your home. If you are trying to influence your family or the relationships within, keep it where you’re family spends time together the most (kitchen, livingroom mantle, game room, dining room). If you can’t practice openly at home, use a container that is pretty and not see through, fill it completely so it doesn’t rattle, and glue it shut. That way, to everyone else, it will just be pretty decoration.
-Give it as a gift. Decorate the bottle and give it as a gift to the person whose relationship with you, you want to influence.
-Keep next to their photo. Keep it next to a photo of the person you wish to change your relationship with.
-Keep it on your person. If the jar is small enough, it can be kept on you inside a purse/bag, coat pocket, or as a necklace. The bottle will work it’s magic whenever you are around the specified person.

Health:
-Stash in the bedroom. Placing the jar on your nightstand, under your pillow, or under your bed will allow health spells to work while you sleep, especially if you are bedridden.
-Store with your medicine. If you have to take medication regularly, store it with your meds.
-Keep next to your drinking water. If you use drinking water that isn’t from a tap, store the jar where you store your water. The spell will bleed into your drinking water to influence your health.
-Keep it on your person. If the jar is small enough, it can be kept on you inside a purse/bag, coat pocket, or as a necklace. If it is on your person, it can influence your health all day, healing you or protecting you from an illness that is spreading.

Dreams:
-Stash in the bedroom. Placing it on your nightstand, under your pillow, or under your bed will keep it close while you sleep so it can influence your dreams.
-Store with your pajamas. Storing it with the clothes that you sleep in will infuse them with the spell’s energy (unless you sleep naked of course, but I don’t need to know about that).

Wards/Banishments:
-Keep it on your person. If the jar is small enough, it can be kept on you inside a purse/bag, coat pocket, or as a necklace. It will act as a shield to keep away whatever you want.
-Bury it in your yard. If you are just trying to banish something/someone from your life or ward them away from your home and family, bury it in your yard. It will act as a shield.
-If you are trying to banish something/someone and send them far away from you, bury next to train tracks.
-If you are trying to banish thoughts or habits or trying to forget something, bury it in a cemetery. If you can’t bury it in a cemetery, bury it somewhere in the woods and forget it’s location.

If anyone wants to add something that I missed, please feel free!

Quick Protection Ward

This is going to be a quick warding charm to protect your house or your room. I remember someone taught it to me when I was younger but I don’t remember who. Anyway, all you need is:

A small glass jar or vial with a lid Salt, Caraway seeds, or beans (I like rosary beans).  Black ribbon or cord (optional)

Make sure you have enough supplies for both entrances to your house (or just one if you’re protecting your dorm room.) Fill the container with the grain of your choice (you could combine grain types) and repeat this 3 times while focusing on your intent:

“Count the grains, never the same. Count the grains, or leave in shame.”

The idea is that whatever unkindness that is trying to come into your house will first have to successfully count the grains before they can enter. But you’ve also cursed the grains so the number will always be different and thus impossible to count. This was originally a ward against evil spirits. Salt is very protective. This also works against theft, especially if you use caraway seeds. Stay safe everyone!

A Few More Everyday Magick Tips For Witches
  1. Take salt packets from restaurants and fast food places and place them in your bag or pocket. They’ll act as easy and tidy ways to have salt for ritual cleansings when you’re out and about.

  2. Use old pill travel cases or snuff boxes to store small amounts of herbs that are important to you (like sage, rosemary, motherwort, or lavender) to act as a charm and a source of herbs at any time of the day or night.

  3. Enchant your necklaces or rings so that they will guide you safely whenever you wear them.

  4. Place “find me” sigils on your pet’s collar to assist you in finding them when they get lost.

  5. Keep a small jam jar in your bag at all times, so that if you find an interesting stone or a rare herb or something else that would help your Craft, you have somewhere to keep it until you get home.

  6. Keep a notepad in your bag, and use cardboard to cut out a small gingerbread-figure template. Use this template to cut out paper poppets from your notebook, and use them in your Craft when you need a poppet in a hurry.

  7. When you feel powerful emotions, write down the name of that emotion at the time you feel it and pour all your Will and strength into the words as you write them. Use these slips in magick for a lot of extra oomph.

  8. Carry a small book of matches and a tealight candle in a little wax paper packet, and use them for ad hoc spells and summonings when you’re out and about.

  9. Keep a pair of compasses and a protractor in your bag, and you’ll always be able to make a perfect pentacle at any time. Remember that the internal angle of the points is 36° and the internal angle of the pentagon in the middle is 108°. Put some blutack on the compass’ spike to prevent it stabbing your bag.

  10. Line any small fabric bag with wax paper or greaseproof paper, and it can be used to hold dried herbs, gem fragments, and many other small objects or substances. They make excellent spell pouches.

  11. Keep a small amount of dried fruit, nuts, and dried mushrooms (and dried meat if that’s appropriate for you) in a sealed bag for usage as offerings if you go to a new location and want to introduce yourself to the local spirits and wights. They’ll appreciate the gift, but make sure you change it regularly to prevent rotting.

  12. Bless your spices so that everything you cook with them is infused with a little healing magick. A great way to maintain your health and help avoid colds and flu.

I hope these help some lovely Witches!

A "Sending Love" Spell

hello, my loves! the purpose of this spell is to send your most positive energy and vibrations to the ones that you love whom you feel need it most (this can include yourself). here are the steps:

Supplies:

• a dish/cauldron/anything to mix spices in + a spoon

• nutmeg (or cinnamon), rosemary, lavender (you may also use lavender oil instead), salt, and several rose hips (or petals)

• a small quartz crystal

• paper/scissors/ + a pen

• a small bottle, jar, bag, or holder that you can close or seal

• optional: a pink, white, or red candle; lipstick

Note: Before creating my charm bottle, I put on some relaxing, atmospheric background music. For suggestions, feel free to ask me! And if you have a candle, light it beforehand.

Steps:

1). Begin by mixing your spices together in your dish! Add them in any order you please, a small spoonful of each: rosemary for love, lavender for peace, nutmeg (or cinnamon) for good luck and strong visualization, and salt for additional strength and protection. As you add each spoonful, begin to focus on what each spice represents, and how it will help the people you wish to send positivity to.

2). Now is the time to begin writing out your intentions for each individual you are hoping to help. On a piece of paper, in small lettering, write a brief note for each person. Ex: “Safe travels for ___,” “Positive mentality and moving forward for ___,” “A healthy recovery for ___.” You can write messages for as many people as you wish. When you are done, cut out each small piece of paper and fold them small enough to fit in your bottle/jar/holder. If you wish, anoint them with a little something - I sealed all of my notes with a kiss, marked in red lipstick!

3). This is where the rose hips/rose petals come into play. Add a hip or petal to your spice mixture to represent each person that you wrote a note for.

4). Mix your spices together. Close your eyes. Picture your good intentions flowing gently down your arm, your hand, flowing into the spoon, and then off of the spoon, filling your mixture with love and protection.

5). Add your spice mixture to your holder, minus the hips/petals.

6). After adding the spices, drop your notes and hips/petals in, one at a time. Go in the order (note, hip/petal; note, hip/petal; note, hip/petal…) The goal is to visualize that specific person as happy, glowing, and healthy as you drop their notes and rose hips/petals in, one at a time. Really take the time to build up a radiant energy while you close your eyes and envision them as cheerful. While in this positive, visual state, add your quartz crystal to the holder.

7). That’s it! Seal your holder, and place it in an altar, on the windowsill, or next to your bed. Shake it every so often to charge its contents with your ethereal, healing energy! 🥀💖✨💌💋

So there’s this long list of prompts, and I love all of them, so I’m going to do a bunch of them completely unprompted.

Number One: “The skirt is supposed to be this short.”

“I can’t believe this is your dirty secret.”

Boyd raised his eyebrows, adjusting his belt. “What did you think it was?”

“I don’t know, scrapbooking? Ballroom dance? Secret piccolo prodigy?” Stiles tried to shimmy the massive wedgie out of his buttcrack, but it just slipped in further. God damn it. He was wearing way too many layers to go after it, at least two of them chainmail.

“Piccolo?” Boyd’s tone itself wasn’t threatening, but picking up a broadsword and sheathing it on his belt certainly was. It was much bigger than Stiles’ sword, that was for sure.

“Come on, dude. Do you really not see the irony of a literal werewolf LARPing? And not as a werewolf? You wouldn’t even need prosthetics!”

“It’s not roleplaying if you’re just being yourself.”

“Okay, but why roleplay when you’re already a badass? Let’s face it, if anyone here should be roleplaying, it’s the pack human who doesn’t have superpowers.”

“They aren’t superpowers!” Derek’s usual reflex response came from behind the curtain, and then he added, “Are you sure you didn’t give me Kira’s outfit?”

Boyd rolled his eyes like they were the ones being unreasonable here. “Yes, I’m still sure. Come out.”

Stiles couldn’t actually hear it, but it was like a sixth sense by now; he knew Derek sighed before yanking back the crookedly hanging sheet that served as a dressing room in a corner of their massive canvas pack tent.

“So, the skirt is supposed to be this short.”

Doing Magic Without Casting Spells

When I was a witch I thought “doing spells” was the height of all magic. After I left witchcraft I found myself doing spells less and less until I just… stopped. But this didn’t mean my life was without magic. The form my active magic took just changed.

I do magic with talismans now. Others may call them “altars in a box.” I call them talismans ^-^

Once a talisman is built, it works forever as long as it is properly charged. In the photograph is the charging of my personal prosperity talisman.

Talismans are a low-spoon magical solution. The creation, use, and upkeep of a talisman requires no personal energy beyond putting a few objects in a container. You do not need to charge talismans with your personal energy.

A talisman is, in my definition, a magical trinket which can manipulate energies in your favor. In this article I am talking about container talismans.

Container talismans are built like puzzles. Each object added holds a special meaning and will affect the energies of the talisman in a special way. In my example money talisman, I have added:

  • Lodestone, to draw money, prosperity, and wealth.
  • Lodestone oil, to draw money, prosperity, and wealth.
  • Coins, to represent what I desire.
  • Gold pebbles, to represent what I desire.
  • A jar of iolite crystals with a $1000 store price tag, to represent great wealth (dressed with lodestone oil).
  • A bottle of pure gold flakes, to represent great wealth.
  • A charm bag of basil, to get the spirit ally Basil to work on my behalf for profit.
  • A sigil to save money, for obvious reasons!
  • A small jar of marijuana, a gesture of sacrifice to give back to the spirit world, and to represent what I desire.
  • My last dollar until payday, a gesture of sacrifice to give back to the spirit world, and to represent what I desire.

This talisman brings me a lot of spending money and I am rarely ever out (except now, which is why I am recharging and donating my last dollar!).

On the other hand, talismans are a practical low-fund solution because one can literally be made out of paper slips stuffed in to a jar. No need to get fancy!

Try building different container talismans for prosperity, relationships, wishes, and protection

  • Try adding dried herbs and stones of traditional correspondences.
  • Add representation of spirit allies who will help.
  • Include poems, images, sigils, or references of your goals and dreams.
  • Talismans can be simple or complex. Make them to your tastes and the preferences of the spirits you work with.

To build your own talisman, select an appropriate container and cleanse it using your favorite method. Cleanse objects and state their purpose as you add them to the container. “This dried rose represents eternal love within my heart.” “This quartz chip is to empower the other elements of the talisman.” And so on :)

When your talisman is assembled, charge it by placing candles on or near it and lighting them with intent to draw down power. Or, place it in the Sun and Moonlight for 24 hours, asking Nature to rise from below and complete the trinity of empowerment. In the picture, I placed a candle in the middle of the talisman jar. I dressed the candle with lodestone oil for extra power.

Place talismans on an altar or safe space where it will not be disturbed. Allow it to work for you; I see results within an hour typically but I have many allies so don’t be bothered if things don’t work for you so quickly! Give up to 4 weeks to see real changes; up to 2 weeks to see signs of change. Speak to it regularly. Give things time to manifest. Charge regularly or as needed (I charge mine once every… 2 years on average).

If you want to include spirits to help you in your talisman, try this method of obtaining a spirit friend from a crystal (modify from the ‘protection’ theme to your own talisman purposes) or this method for making a contract with a spirit.

Reconciliation Spell Bottle

This spell bottle is to help reconcile with an old friend or lover after you get back in touch, especially when a bad fight or hurt feelings were the reason you parted ways.

Ingredients and supplies:

  • Egg Shell
  • Juniper Berries
  • Sage
  • Rosemary
  • Lavender
  • White and Black candles
  • Two small pieces of paper and pencil
  • A cauldron, or other safe vessel to burn things in
  • A small bottle or jar, with a lid
  • A cleansing method of your choice. I used my bundle of sage and lavender.
  • Optional: Fire-safe tongs, if you’re uncomfortable holding onto something that is burning
  • Optional: Crystals relating to your intent. I used rose quartz for love, amethyst for healing, and lapis lazuli for protection.
  • Optional: Incense relating to your intent, a cleansing incense like sandlewood, or a meditative or calming incense,
  • Optional: Moon Water

*Ideally, all of your herbs should be dried, as these are less likely to cause mold when stored long-term in a sealed container.

I started off by lighting both of my candles and my incense and reflecting on the negative feelings I was having surrounding the person in question. I then took one of my pieces of paper and wrote down the person’s name in the center, followed by all of the negative emotions literally surrounding the name on the paper. Write them as many times as you need to to feel like they are all laid down bare before you, and you have them all out.

Once I finished, I folded this page up until the feelings were minimized in a tiny bundle, then lit it on fire with the black candle (for banishment) and dropped it in my cauldron to burn before blowing out the candle. As it burned, I repeated the words, “With this fire, I purge the negativity in my life surrounding (name).” Once the paper had burned to ashes, I brought the ashes outside and threw them to the wind to make what was left of my negativity disappear.

Next, to ensure there were no traces of the negative energy in my work-space, I cleansed the area and all of my materials with my sage and lavender bundle. I wiped out my cauldron, making sure to get every last bit of ash out, as well as wiped it clean with a bit of moon water. Once this was done, I placed my crystals into the jars containing my ingredients for an added energy boost. The lapis lazuli with my egg shells, the rose quartz with my rosemary, and the amethyst with my lavender.

As these sat and absorbed energy from the crystals, I took my second piece of paper, again, writing the name of the person in the center. Surrounding this, I wrote all of my intentions. You could also create a sigil for this, if you’re so inclined. Some of the things I wrote were, “ I am free from hurt.” “I forgive you.” “I forgive myself.” “I am free from negativity.” “I am free from guilt.” “I am full of love.” Once I felt like everything was out there and there was nothing left to say, I folded the paper just once and lit it with my white candle (for cleansing, action, and energy) and dropped it into my cauldron. As it burned, I repeated the words, “With this fire, I charge the written words so that they may be brought forth to action.”

After the paper burned, I placed those ashes in my jar, reciting, “May the ashes of my words provide the foundation for which this spell may act.”
Next, the sage: “May this sage cleanse my spirit of negativity and allow my heart the freedom it deserves.”
Next, the rosemary: “May this rosemary provide remembrance of the happy memories we once shared, in hopes that love may blossom once more.”
Next, the juniper berries: “May this juniper banish the ugliness of the past.”
Next, egg shells: “May these egg shells protect me from future negativity and hurt.”
And finally, the lavender: “May this lavender bring forth healing, and peace, so that hurt may never fill my heart again.

I left the jar half full, signifying an open heart that always has room for more love, and ample room for more happy memories to soon fill the space. Finally, I sealed the jar with white wax.
