My friend Marcus shared this on facebook. Those kids are doing crazy stuff, but what’s most important is that they’re real young kids skating in the street, not in a skatepark.

Skating seems like one of the last things a grown up can do that still uses the built environment in an abstract way - for whom a flight of stairs has more than a prescribed use. Its disappointing that a lot of kids skating now are taught to keep it in line from a pretty early age.
