You should never believe that art has any rules. And if there are any rules, you should break them all.

There’s a new strain of ‘post-genre’ artists who straddle, or exist beyond, genres that seemed set in concrete as little as 10 years ago. They represent a cross-pollination that makes it harder than ever to definitively state that you like or dislike one genre or another. Read The Guardian to learn about the world of genre-breaking music created by artists like Skrillex, Diplo, Lana Del Rey, Rihanna, and The Weeknd.
As I’ve mentioned before, the powerhouse duo known as Jack Ü, aka Skrillex and Diplo, dropped a debut album several days ago. I’ve already shared some killer music off it, but I must make sure you don’t miss out on this one, a booming, sexy tune named To Ü. After all, it features UK future pop and R&B duo AlunaGeorge on guest vocals, whom I adore dearly. Unlike the Justin Bieber featuring track I shared yesterday, To Ü is an epic, high energy romper. Aluna’s always on point and sultry vocals are perfect accompaniment to Skrilly and Diplo’s banging production. Stream the production duo’s album, “Skrillex & Diplo Present Jack Ü”, in full, here.
No disrespect meant to fans and artist, but I’m not exactly a huge Justin Bieber fan myself. However, it’s time to share some Bieber love, because he delivers a fine, sexy performance on new Jack Ü song Where Are Ü Now . Jack Ü, the duo made up of, of course, Skrillex and Diplo (he’s everywhere!) debuted their project together with the Kiesza featuring Take U There. They’ve since revealed several superstar featuring tunes on their debut album “Skrillex & Diplo Present Jack Ü”, available to stream, here, after having been surprised revealed at Skrillex and Diplo’s supposed veiled “24 Hour Marathon” DJ party.
