In the scene with Kara stopping the space ship, she was pushing her strength to the limit. You could see it in her face. Alex knew it. But Kara also knew that she had to save Alex. And if I’m not mistaken, the soundtrack in the background was the same one that was playing during season one with Kara’s fight with Red Tornado, when she had flashbacks of losing her planet, her family, everyone she ever loved. This scene was an amazing parallel to that. Alex is Kara’s family. She would do anything, absolutely anything, to save her life.
Request: I am
absolutely in love with anything having to do with the reader’s ability to see
Gabe’s wings (aka soulmate fics!) Would you maybe consider doing a
Winchester!reader fic like that?
A/N: I’ve read a lot
of these, so I decided to take a different approach. There will be a part two!
Gabriel, Castiel, Sam, Dean

Y/N = Your Name
Part One: Preen
Your twin brother Adam grew up with
you in Michigan, and you only saw your father once a year – twice, if you were
incredibly lucky. As you grew up, you stayed close out of concern for the
increasingly-erratic behavior of your mother. You made plans to meet up again
and take time off to stay with her.
You never saw either of them again,
because by the time you had returned to your hometown, your mother and brother
had both been eaten alive by ghouls. Sam and Dean pulled you out of the
infested house in the nick of time, and since then, you traveled with them.
Your hunting, however, left some to be desired – you hadn’t had your entire
life to practice.
The desire to keep you alive was
what made them relax their anti-archangel rules in a special exception for
Gabriel. The archangel would ride with you on long trips in the Impala on
occasion, and he would pop in for at least a quick minute once you’d found a
hotel. You’d text and he’d send you photographs of the most beautiful places in
the world that you wished you had the money and the safety to go see.
Artemis and Holly in a platonic relationship is so important to me. It is implied throughout the series that Artemis’s parents were somewhat distant in raising their son (to the point that Butler probably was more involved than he should be and secretly started viewing Artemis as a younger brother/son). I know the vast majority of the fandom ship ArtemisxHolly (a shipping that gives me the creeps, no offence) but I have never been able to see them in a romantic setting. To me their platonic friendship is so much more important and powerful. Holly is one of the biggest positive adult influences in Artemis’s life (an influence he has been lacking all his life). Yes, I believe Angeline loves her son dearly and did the best she could but I feel Holly (and the other fairies) made a much more positive impact on him in the few years they spent together than Artemis’s parents did in the entirety before that. Holly helped to fix the “broken boy” that is Artemis not through romantic efforts but by just being a good friend and a positive influence. Their platonic friendship is so underrated by this fandom and that is just really unfortunate.
- twirling until they’re so dizzy they collapse giggling on the floor - tea parties with Holly’s dolls and stuffed animals - coloring while lying on their stomachs on the floor, their feet lazily kicking the air as they hum and sing under their breath - Holly latching onto Eleven’s leg, forcing her to take gigantic steps, and Holly’s hysterical giggles just melting Eleven’s heart - Holly declaring that 11 is her favorite number - El reading to Holly in the La-Z-Boy - El and Holly sitting on the lawn blowing the fuzz off dandelions - Holly coming all the way down to the basement to give El a goodnight kiss and hug when she’s over for a visit with the boys - Eleven and Holly just being adorable best buddies
So since Superhollis AU is being written for the Big Bang, it’s not actually gonna be seen for awhile, BUT. That doesn’t mean I can’t show you guys any snippets from this universe.
So, theoretically, would you guys like to see anything? I can do prompts for bby Kryptonian Laura getting used to Earth, or post fic supercorp Hollstein (since of course Carmilla is Lena Luthor and they are endgame).
Gibbs: Ah, there you are, Jen I’ve been looking all over for you Jen: I thought since we were short on agents, Abby could use some help Gibbs: The only reason we are short on agents is because you sent DiNozzo home Jen: Well, there’s no sense in getting us all sick Abby Sciuto: [as Gibbs] Next time you send one of my team home you clear it with me first, Director! [as Jen] Oh, I didn’t know I needed your permission to handle my own personnel, Agent Gibbs! [as Gibbs] Your personnel?! [as Jen] Last time I checked, it said “Director” on my door, not yours! Abby: [to both of them] The kids don’t like it when mommy and daddy fight!
Both she and her brother suffered during the time that DIO was active, collapsing from fever and not recovering until the vampiric threat had been eliminated. And if Josuke, who was a tiny little boy, was able to eventually control the powers in him and make them powerful, so could the stubborn, strong-willed, sweet Holly Joestar Kujo.
I’d like to think that once she got the hang of it, the writhing vines of her Stand could form into a humanoid shape is she so willed it. Like a verdant cross between her father’s Hermit Purple and her granddaughter’s string-based Stone Free. Of course, it would still have the constricting vines; were she to use her Stand in combat, her main attacks would involve enveloping her enemies in loops of vines, and squeezing until they broke or suffocated. However, as a peaceful person, Holly would only use it defensively. Also, I think she could make it bloom whenever she’d like, and the scent of roses would me noticeable even to those without Stand abilities.
When her father and son returned from Egypt, Holly had a long talk with them regarding the nature of Stands, and the strange things she saw since hers became a part of her. She compares hers and her father’s (“Papa! Why are we both so prickly? At least mine has leaves and flowers!”), and views Star Platinum as an extension of her son, and therefore a target for her maternal affections. Oddly enough, Jotaro tends to be a bit more open and loving with his mother when he uses his Stand, so Star Platinum gets most of his good-bye and good-night hugs and kisses on his behalf. He also tends to accept a “hug” from Mom’s stand more readily than from Holly herself. Holly doesn’t get it. But she rolls with it anyway. Meanwhile, in the brief moments when Sadao’s home, he wonders why his wife is giving his son air kisses from four feet away.
Naming her stand was easy. “Papa, you told me Avdol-san said your Stands were named for cards, is that right? Well, I’ve named her! Two of Hearts!” Joseph just nods; he’s not gonna argue. And it’s exactly as sweet and cute as he expects from his daughter.
They say Stand users are drawn to other Stand users. Over the next couple years, especially when her only son is away at college and her husband is on tour with his band, Holly finds herself drifting over to the nearby town of Morioh on the flimsiest of excuses. She doesn’t even know why she’s there. But she does see a cute, spunky young lady in town occasionally, with a little boy that looks an awful lot like her own when he was small. She always smiles wistfully, and goes home with a weird, heavy feeling in her heart.
Several years later, when she finds out that cute little boy is her younger brother, and that Papa was nearby in Japan and didn’t even come to visit her? And that her son had known about this and didn’t ask her to come with him to meet HER OWN BABY BROTHER? The true fury of Two of Hearts was felt by old man and stuffy marine biologist alike. And the next day, Josuke receives a letter and small stack of photos in the mail, all faintly smelling of roses, and signed, “Your loving older sister, Holly.”
