Hamilton: I couldn’t seem to die

Burr: watch me bitch

But fame of that nature, for a performer who had been plugging away at the margins for years, felt disorienting, and a little ephemeral.

“Guys, is this crazy?” he asked his agents about the possibility of moving on. “What if nobody wants me, and I don’t make any money anymore?”

“It all seems fleeting,” he said, somewhat sheepishly but with extreme geniality, of his current renown. “It feels that the reason people want me is not built on anything.”

In the audience were a few dozen theater students and working actors, all of whom had applied to the program to better learn the skills that Mr. Diggs has been cultivating his whole life. After a break, they reconvened to spiritedly go over projects they’d been working on. Mr. Diggs moved across the room, giving notes, offering support, watching the walls he’d been kicking down for years crumble in a hundred different directions. (x)

Theres no weekend during Fashion Week.

Every time NYFW comes around I completely forget what day it is because it seems like a never-ending day. This was what normal people call a saturday, and I went to the Katya Leonovich fashion show and SIR NY presentation.

Katya is one of few designers who actually paints their prints for the fabric. She gets inspiration from sculptures or like a few seasons ago, a football team. This year the theme was beginnings.

“The end of last year was difficult for everyone with the storm so if you see here I wanted to do new beginnings, to wish to make it better…”

(Laura & Kindra Devotion and I right after the show)

Next up was SIR NY which is all menswear, my kinda shows! If you don’t know by now but I am fascinated with menswear, something about suits and how it’s all made…anyways before I wonder to another land SIR NYC presentation was at a studio with people of all styles. The male models came out and made two gangs, or I like to think so.

(Shaun Ross! who btw is super nice)

(Stella Rose and I, right after the presentation)
