ART BASEL, 2016

by Sipros

Born in São Roque, a small historic city about 40 miles west of São Paulo, Brazil, Sipros liked to draw from a young age, but says the exposure to graffiti on the walls of his school was what drew him to spraypaint. Sipros told Global Street Art he mostly paints people, but is “currently varying the faces I paint so that I can get more and more details. If you limit yourself you will never learn anything.” His drive to constantly be evolving and learning new techniques is clearly evident in this work on NW 24th St. in Wynwood as part of Art Basel 2016.  @sipros_sipros  @wynwoodmurals  @globalstreetart  @scenesfromthesidewalk
