I need to get my Downton geek on with this. Man, and here I thought the costume exhibit was the coolest!

Good luck to the @downtonabbey_official gang, in Singapore for tonight’s red carpet opening of the #downtonexhibition @marinabaysands. Congrats to Donal Woods and @annamaryscott for bringing the sets and costumes back to life..

Okay so the A/B stuff I spied in this video of the DA Exhibition in Singapore:

  • Anna’s S3 housemaid day dress
  • A S3 housemaid afternoon dress (might be Anna’s, might not - we don’t see the sign and Anna’s day dress from then shares a sign with Daisy’s so)
  • Bates’ valet uniform (circa S4 if the still from the sign matches)
  • Anna’s afternoon/evening lady’s maid dress from S4-5
  • At least three group photos in the servants’ hall feature Anna in them

Nitpicks:

  • I can’t seem to see Anna’s wedding outfit with all the other wedding outfits :(
  • While it can technically can be spelled “ladies maid”, every single official DA source has gone with “lady’s maid” so… c’mon be consistent.
  • kinda chafes me that full names aren’t listed anywhere, but that’s just me lol
  • I’m going to assume that there’s other signage that’s a little more character related? like detailing out the costume is nice, but there’s not even much context? It was such a short video I can’t really judge but you know

Glad downstairs is getting better representation! Woooooot servants’ hall!!!
