Step one: Flaunt yourself in front of him, get his attention and make him want you.
It was all a little too easy given the way he usually acted but you had to start somewhere and you chose somewhere simple. Your gym clothes usually grabbed the most attention day-to-day but from the one occasion when you went out whilst he was at your apartment you learned that tight dresses and high heels really got the slease going.
“EunJae, lets go out, i feel like I wanna forget the past week” JunHui being the main reason. It didn’t take long for EunJae to show up on your doorstep dressed to the nines but it took some careful consideration on your part to decide on the outfit you like the best. Anything tight was good but anything skintight was better. So you chose a black bodycon dress that had a plunge neckline to show one cleavage that you were sure would have the little perv drooling.
A beat face, diamond choker, body chain and a pair of silver sandal heels later and you were dressed and ready to kill. It was a shame that Jun wouldn’t be coming with you but your plan allowed no room for improvisation, everything had to be perfect and with one quick look in the mirror everything was.
You almost burst out laughing when you emerged from you bedroom and saw the slack-jawed expression on Jun’s face. Priceless. Sadly the memory couldn’t be saved but you were sure you’d see the look again if all went well.
You blamed a trio of double vodka cokes and an entire clubs worth of tequila shots for the headache but you were sure it was mojitos that influenced your bad decisions and whilst getting drunk was apart of your perfect plan, sleeping with Jun’s best friend Soonyoung was not.
You only vaguely remembered screaming and running up to the affectionately nicknamed Hoshi at the club when you saw him but you vividly remembered the ensuing night. And god did you regret every second after it, maybe not a particular hour after but you regretted most of it. Even more so when you noticed that the two of you were at your apartment. Where Jun was.
“Morning lovebirds, eventful night?” Why was he so smug? Was there really need, or did he just enjoy being a prick.
“Fuck off.” Surprisingly that wasn’t you. Hoshi seemed just as annoyed.
“Weren’t you asleep?” Jun asked in a way like he was saying ‘haha I caught your lie’ but there wasn’t a lie to tell he just loved to annoy.
“Yeah no shit, I was asleep, so fuck off so I can sleep more” Hoshi turned back into the pillow and slung his arm over your body, trapping you in the bed. You watched as Jun slowly backed out of the room. What the fuck had drunk you gotten yourself into.
Story line: You never believed in fairy tales but your best friend thinks that the fact you’re grounded in your senior prom is a sign. Finally, you decide to escape and you end up living one of the best nights of your life.
Finally, the day had come. Today was senior prom but… I wasn’t going. I felt like I was living my own Cinderella story but the truth was that it wasn’t another Cinderella story. I didn’t believe in fairy tales and the fact I couldn’t go to my senior prom was because I arrived home pretty drunk last night and my mother caught me. Was I angry with my mom? Yes. Did I deserve this? Yes. Did I care? No. Well, maybe. I mean, it was my senior prom. All my friends were going and I was kind of excited to wear my super-dress and pretend to be another person for a night.
“I think you should escape. I mean, you could tell your mom you’re going to sleep and then come to the ball” my best friend said.
“I don’t know. If she catch me again doing something I shouldn’t, she’s going to ground me for the rest of my life”.
“Maybe she doesn’t catch you” she said. “Also, this reminds me of Cinderella and I’m loving all this drama” I couldn’t help but laugh. “I think you should have a curfew”.
“I don’t need a curfew if I’m going to escape”:
“And what’s the fun in this? If we’re going to play Cinderella, we have to play it well”.
“I’m glad you’re having fun with this, seriously. But I need a plan B because I don’t want to be grounded the rest of my life”.
“There isn’t a plan B, Y/N. That’s the point of escaping. Just wish everything goes okay”.
I really hoped my mom didn’t catch me. I didn’t want to disappoint her again. I knew she was doing this because she wanted to give me a lesson but I have to admit that she could have grounded me another day, not in my senior prom.
I put my long blue dress with sweetheart neckline and sleeveless combined with silver-heeled sandals. I took my black mask – it was a masquerade ball – and I waited till my mom was asleep to get out of the house. When I got inside the car, the first thing I did was turn on the radio. I felt like a fugitive and I was loving that feeling.
I arrived at the school fifteen minutes after. I went to the gym, which was where the ball was held. As I got closer, the music sounded louder. And finally, when I entered the gym I couldn’t help but smile. There was balloons and streamers everywhere, people were dancing and drinking alcohol-free punch.
“You came!” my best friend yelled when he saw me. “Damn, girl. You look hot. If it wasn’t because I’ve seen your dress before, I wouldn’t knew who you are”.
I blushed and she laughed at me. I loved that the theme of the ball was a masquerade dance. Maybe it was a cliché, but it was mysterious not knowing who hid behind the mask. But truth be told, I knew who the most people were and I was a little bit disappointed. In the movies they made it looked so easy.
“Thank you. You don’t look so bad yourself” I flattered her.
“So, tell me Cinderella. With who are you dancing tonight?” Y/B/N asked. You laughed as you shook your head.
“Apparently Cinderella is missing his Prince Charming so she decided to dance with her friends. Is that okay with you?” I joked. Y/B/N laughed as she did a reverence before me.
“Can I have this dance, milady?”
I laughed as I took her by the arm and we went to the dance floor. We danced for what seemed like hours, we laughed and we had a great time. I excused myself and I went to grab a drink; I was thirsty. I waited for a few minutes until the table was empty, I grabbed a glass and I poured a bit of punch with the big spoon that was in the bol. When I turned around, I bumped into a tall blond guy with his fringe brushed aside. He was wearing a fedora, a black blazer, a gray shirt and black skinny jeans. I swallowed noisily when he smiled. I couldn’t believe that Ashton Irwin, because yes, I know who he was even with a mask in his face, was smiling at me. He was a nice guy or that’s what I thought. He was always smiling and saying nice things to everyone but I guess I wasn’t popular enough for him. We had some classes together and he never looked at me. I didn’t even know if he knew about my existence.
“I’m so sorry” I muttered. “I didn’t know you were there”.
“Don’t worry. Are you okay?” he asked, nicely. I nodded and his smile widened. God, he was so gorgeous. And that damn fedora…. Nobody had told him he was a danger for this world? Like, seriously… Where were all the girls? Why wasn’t he surrounded by girls? I was the only one who knew who was hiding behind that mask?
His laughter woke me from my thoughts and I shook my head, trying to get back to the real world. “Sorry” I said again as I moved away so this way he could get some punch.
“Actually, I was trying to catch your attention” he said, absent-mindedly scratching his neck.
