Taurus Bowhead Whales: Their dedication (or stubbornness) makes them capable of amazing things, even breaking through sea ice at least seven inches thick with their big heads.
Gemini Belugas: They can be very sociable and are known for their gift of the gab. They can pronounce a series of chirps, clicks, whistles and squeals, which may sound like nonsense to us, but to fellow belugas they convey deep and important messages.
Cancer Bryde’s Whales: While swimming they tend to suddenly change direction. For no apparent reason. A bit moody. They even have irregular breathing patterns.
Leo Spinner Dolphins: They have enough energy to jump up to 3 meters height and turn seven times on their axis before plunging again and then repeating the exercise about 13 more times. They are cool and they know it. They are not aggressive. Unless they don’t like you.
Virgo Pilot Whales: They are amazing, very clever, witty, and practical. Until they decide to just mass strand themselves on the beach.
Libra Humpback Whales: Very artistic, their songs are pretty nice. They love harmony, but won’t hesitate to fight for justice, getting in the way when Killer Whales attack other mammals. Depending on the point of view, this also makes them huge party poopers.
Scorpio Sperm Whales: The most famous of them is known for wreaking havoc on a ship. Giant squid and Colossal squid are very afraid of them. Enough said.
Sagittarius Fin Whales: Also known as “the greyhounds of the sea”, their open mind and philosophical views motivate them to roam the seas (at about 40 km/h, 24 mph) in search of the meaning of life.
Capricorn Blue Whales: Very strong, fearless and somewhat stoic, they may appear a bit cold on the outside, but they are actually very gentle beings.
Aquarius Bottlenose dolphins: Smart fellows, bitchy at times, but otherwise very friendly. They can form strong bonds which may last for life.
Pisces Cuvier’s beaked whales: Very wise, they dive deeper than anyone else, they have seen things no one else has seen. But this also means they are slightly out of touch with reality.
As you guys may have seen from other content creators in the fandom, there is an issue with a reposter on Instagram. Here’s my personal experience with them today when I asked them to take down one of my posts.
The user is mystical.rfa.v, and their (now nearly empty) account had posted one of my text posts without permission. Upon viewing their account, I saw a ton of art and edits from friends in this community that had also been posted without permission. Now I’m pretty chill with reposters as long as they ask permission beforehand, which this user didn’t.
Now my post? It was a silly text post that took me 15 seconds to write so it wasn’t that big of a deal to me. As the user stated, “it’s only a text post” - and they’re right!
What made me upset was seeing art and edits that my friends and others in this community spent hours on, with passion and skill and the motive for the fandom and themselves to enjoy such content, was hastily posted on this account with zero respect for the creators. No link back to the creator, no tags, nothing. Posting the phrase “credit to the artist” doesn’t cut it. Especially not when you didn’t even ask permission in the first place to post it.
So, Mystic Messenger community, please speak out if you see anyone reposting content. There’s a good chance they didn’t respect the creators when they posted it. Respect the content creators that give so much to this fandom. This is the kind of thing that makes artists and other creators stop posting.
Hey guys, so our next event coming up is Snape Lives Week which will be taking place from 1st October to 7th October (late submissions always accepted).
What is Snape Lives Week? It’s an au week of sorts focusing on
what would happen if Snape survived the Battle of Hogwarts. For
example: How did he survive? What would he do with his life afterwards?
Does he go back to teaching or does he turn his back on Hogwarts to go
live his own life away from the school? The options are limitless but
must be Snape-centric. What kinds of content are we looking for? Anything!
We’ll accept: Gifsets, moodboards, graphics, videos, playlists, fan
fiction, drabbles, headcanons (serious or non serious), fan art, silly
text posts, etc. Whatever you come up with we would love to see, so try
not to get hung up on whether it’s good or not, the point is to just
show your appreciation for Severus Snape! Have fun with it!
Also, be sure to include the tag snapeloveposts within the first 5 tags
of your post so that they’re all collected in one place for everyone to
see. And if you won’t be around for that week you can queue your posts
in advance or submit posts later in the month.
Check out our F.A.Q. page if you have any questions and if your question isn’t on there feel free to send us a message. As always, have fun and we look forward to seeing what you all come up with! :)
