Plot: Sailor Aluminum Seiren sets a trap to steal Usagi’s Star Seed.


  • Makoto has a fear of airplanes in the manga.
  • The song that played during Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako’s transformations was “Todokanu Omoi: My Friend’s Love” (Thoughts that Cannot Be Delivered).
  • The in-flight movie was the one that the Three Lights filmed in episode 183.


  • A completely new animation sequence for Star Serious Laser was first shown here. It would become the standard stock footage used for the remainder of the series.
  • Sailor Tin Nyanko physically appeared and spoke, but she was not identified by name. The ending credits listed her as “Nyanko,” though.


  • This episode marked the final appearance of Sailor Aluminum Seiren.
  • In this episode only, Sailor Aluminum Seiren performed an improvised technique called “Galactica Tsunami.” This maneuver shares the same name as her signature attack in the manga.
