short north district

This past week proved to be very productive. I spent some time working on the vocals for this album, and the band mapped out some really ambitious ideas we hope to work on for the remainder of the time we have here in beautiful Ohio. We spent another day in Short North, an art district in downtown Columbus. Kaleb was able to get a new tattoo, while Andy and I were given the opportunity to further explore the cuisine of North Market, a giant mall-style outpost for foreign foods.

The album is coming together in a way we never imagined. It get’s heavy, it gets soft, it ebbs and flows between four people creating one sound. I am so proud of the work we have put into this album, along with the dedication Nick Ingram has given us and this project. I am so humbled to be a part of this amazing experience. I don’t deserve any of this, but I accept it all as a beautiful blessing.
