shore wedding

On this Wedding Wednesday we look at marital bliss on the beach, filled with Rustic and Chic charm.

Some important things to notice:

Most beach weddings are jam packed with the typical "beachy" decor. In my opinion minimilize the seashell and starfish detail. Your surroundings will naturally supply you with plenty.

Add some darker detail in your furniture to make your event space stand out especially when mixed with all of the lighter shades the sand and water will give you. I am in love with the wicker chairs used for the ceremony pictured above.

Bring a ceiling to the beach!?? How??? Include a chandelier with some string lighting over the tables. Talk about dramatic!!! With that being said, keep your centerpieces smaller in detail. With a mix of lanterns, candles, burlap, birchwood, and fun wooden table numbers also pictured above, it gives you a perfect beach blend for your guests to enjoy.

As I said before dont get to “shelly” in your decor. However there is one idea that I think is adorable. I included an image I found of the bridesmaids bouquets. Notice how their flowers are placed in a shell for each bridesmaid to hold. Its a very minimal detail that will WOW as they walk down the aisle.

Wedding decor for a beach can be challenging, but stick with details like these and I believe your guests will be gushing about your special day for ages.
