Stargate Jack O’Neill Dress Uniform Custom Funko

Uniform week for me continues with a General / Colonel Jack O’Neill custom funko.  He has a Prince Charming head with several layers of grey, brown, and charcoal grey paint.  His body is a modified John Watson body with a ton of tiny details for his ribbons and badges.

I will take commissions to replicate this funko, please contact privately to discuss price as the market for the figures in which I make these out of can change wildly.  Ask me about my etsy shop.

Happy Clack Day! Got some badges printed to celebrate and show the cuties off!

Stargate SG-1 Dr. Daniel Jackson Custom Funko

So this was a straight repaint of a David Levinson funko from the second Independence Day movie.  I like his tiny patches.  Painting glasses frames are a pain in the neck when they put the completely unnecessary lenses in them.

I will take commissions to replicate this funko, please contact privately to discuss price as the market for the figures in which I make these out of can change wildly.  Ask me about my etsy shop.

Guitar shooping in Toronto at The Twelfth Fret, on Danforth Ave. just east of Woodbine:

  1. Brand new Gibson Custom ES-335 in a lovely light blue finish with plenty o’ figuring.  To the right is a nicely preserved 1970 ES-335.  Ironically, the vintage guitar is several hundred dollars LESS than the new one.  What’s wrong with that picture??  :\
  2. I didn’t get the memo, but apparently it was 1930s vintage Gibson archtop and flattop tenor guitar day at the shop!
  3. Very nice 1970/71 ES-335 in walnut.  The most “70s” of all Gibson finishes (even though it was introduced in the late 60s…)
  4. Incredible vintage Gibson Byrdland.  I believe it was a ‘59.  I did not ask the price because I did not have my heart medication with me!  :D
  5. The least expensive guitar in this set.  Not vintage, but I would not refuse it if you bought it for me as a gift (hint hint…)

Guitar shopping this week near Toronto, Canada:

  1. Used ES-390 - $2,300 ($CAD)!
  2. ES-390.  When these came out they were over $3,000, so this is a good deal!
  3. Silverburst ES-335
  4. Used Gretsch.  I don’t know nearly enough about Gretsch guitars but I know that I like their colours…especially this green and the orange you would find on a “Roundup”,
  5. Fancy as all heck Gibson Custom ES-356!
  6. All the trim of the 355, in a smaller, 339-sized package.  Missing the Varitone of course, and a Bigsby instead of a Maestro Vibrola…
  7. Lovely VOS SG on the left for 1950 ($CAD).  That’s a great deal for this guitar!
