The School of Life is a place to step back and think intelligently about central emotional concerns. You will never be cornered by dogma, but we will direct you towards a variety of ideas from the humanities – from philosophy to literature, psychology to the visual arts – ideas that will exercise, stimulate and expand your mind. Shop Hunting Tuesdays:  Fjällräven Kånken    |    Shop

Straight backs are happy backs. Kånken was launched in 1978 to spare the backs of school children. Back problems had begun to appear in increasingly younger age groups and shoulder bags were popular. Kånken has many simple, clear functions. The backpack soon became a common sight at pre-schools and nature schools around the country. The idea of using a backpack quickly spread, as did Kånken. It is just as popular today, and an excellent choice for school, outings or biking to work.

Kånken is made out of durable, lightweight Vinylon F. The large main compartment with a large opening makes it easy to put in/take out items. Two side pockets and a zippered pocket in the front. Handle at the top, narrow, supple shoulder straps, sitting pad in the pocket in the back and logo that doubles as a reflector.

Shop Hunting Tuesdays: Baggu Spring 2015

This San Francisco based studio was founded in early 2007 by mother-daughter duo, Joan and Emily Sugihara. At the beggining they were working form NY (Emily) and San Diego (Joan).

They created BAGGU with the goal “to make it affordable to switch from disposable to reusable shopping bags” and to make a bag that fit in the purse for unexpected errands, in other words, to make a beautifully designed reusable bag which can replace the use of 300 to 700 disposable bags.

In this, spring collection, they made a step forward and introduced more prints, so here they are - BAGGU animals <3
